Suprisingly great selection for a small store, good variety of genre and fair prices. Employees very nice and helpful.
First visit. Bought 6 albums. High quality, fair prices, knowledgeable salesperson. Willing to take notes for what we are looking for in the future. Will definitely be back.
Great little store with excellent service and very friendly people, great selection of vinyl and accessories, I highly recommend it.
Really good quality and nice people.
2. Jeff Beck’s Just4Fun
Address: 1560 E Cherry St #101, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
Jeff is a friendly conversationalist, so the stop won’t be wasted. The shop, you just gotta see. a bit of everything, factual i.e. vintage guitars & record albums, and fantasy, i.e. knives & swords, dragons, and crystal balls. You’ve got leathers & lingerie.
Just stop and take a LOOK. It’s pretty neat, lol really!
Awesome, friendly, knowledgeable dude. The store is like a tardis- looks small on the outside but inside is big and has a huuuuge range of stuff.
He was very helpful on all my requests & had a little of everything that I was looking for..
This place is cool, lots of interesting stuff. Mostly small weapons and jewelry but an assortment of things really. The owner is friendly and helpful. A bit pricey in my opinion but that’s kind of the way things are for local businesses I guess.
Lots of things to look at. Unexpected finds can be found her.
Really nice guy!
Walked into the store and the first thing the scrappy looking man behind the counter said was why are you wearing a mask. My husband’s told him it’s because of covid. He told us that covid is not real. If we are going to wear a mask we could leave. We weren’t welcome to shop there as long as we were going to wear a mask. So we left. NOT COOL!!!
Charges name brand prices for $10 knockoff instruments. The few things here that are actually of value are very nice if you’re just going in to look, but as far as the general inventory and the demeanor of the proprietor (Whose bad reputation precedes him in the local circles) there is no better place in town to get ripped off. Like a walking encyclopedia of shady sales tactics. If you’re in cottonwood and need music equipment just use Amazon or Facebook marketplace. You’ll save a lot of money and stress.
Enter at your own risk. Delta covid only needs 5 seconds exposure.
A huge THANK YOU is overdue to Dig with @sacredfirearts. Thank you, Dig, for your patience. You spent so much time, care, thought, and creativity helping me design the best custom wood burned design for his Taylor. We are overjoyed with the result. It has become the centerpiece in his collection. It’s gorgeous texture absolutely brings it to life. This piece will be cherished for years to come. Thank you for being so wonderfully you.
There is something intimately warm about a wood burned guitar. Scroll through the photos of his unique creations and you can see for yourself what amazing pieces of art Dig at Sacred Fire Arts creates. I have watched the process he’s gone through with many of his creations and they are true masterpieces. I am the proud caretaker of one and I can’t recommend it enough.

4. Tech and Tunes
Address: 689 N Main St APT A, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
Drove past and decided to turn around and check it out, so glad I did! My friend and I found some vinyls we’ve really wanted, and they let us go through a massive box of 45’s they just got in, which was like finding treasure! All their records are near pristine condition. The two ladies who were working were absolutely wonderful and helpful. SO glad I noticed it while driving by, will definitely be back again when I’m in the area!
She was the only person within 100 miles that had the exact needle I wanted. One of the best Rock music collections in the area. Super friendly and knowledgeable to boot. 10/10 would come back again.
First time. Bought six albums. High quality, fair prices, knowledgeable salesperson. Willing to look for what we want in the future. Will be back.
I tried three times to come to this shop during open hours and every time there is a note in the window with a reason why nobody is there.
Super knowledgeable and great guy – everything you could want in a music store – especially if in the market for a nice ukulele!
Awesome place for unique items
Dude man. Stick to some normal operating hours. I’ve passed through Jerome twice now and you haven’t been opened when you said you were supposed to be. It’s 10:30 am now says your supposed to be open on google. Sorry for the poor review but really wanna check out your store
An awesome rock and roll memorabilia shop in historic Jerome Arizona…kind of hard to find tho.
11. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 2003 E Rodeo Dr, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
One stop shop and has tire and auto shop ti fix your car and get tires put on
This Walmart is indicative of many super walmart locations across the country. It bosts a Subway restaurant inside. This location does not offer the fast pick up at front oak store that some Walmart offer. It also does not support grocery delivery.
It’s Walmart , come on people they carry everything they do have some really good deals sometimes
So much stuff to purchase so little time. “Get out of my way.”
Shiny floor
Small town Walmart
Always irritating.
It’s f’ing crazy in there. Need more checkout lanes open. Really, how does a store like that run out of bags???
The customer service here is terrible and if it were possible to completely avoid going there is would
Sonja played violin at our wedding in Sedona and was amazing! She was great with communicating and lets you pick out what songs you would like her to play. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Sonja played violin at our wedding in Sedona and was phenomenal! She is extremely talented and such a nice person. Communication was easy and she has a vast list of songs and types of music she knows already to choose from, she even brought a microphone and speaker for our officiant. I would highly recommend booking Sonja!!
Sonja was beyond fantastic in all aspects of preparing and performing for our wedding! She was quick to follow-up with us with any questions we had and even learned 2 new songs for our special day, even going so far as to find the perfect backing track for our first dance (which she played wonderfully!). She was the epitome of professionalism. She arrived an hour early to ensure proper set-up of her audio equipment, meet with our officiant, and warm-up before her performance. In addition to playing the ceremony processional and first dance, she also provided music before the ceremony began and during cocktail hour! Our guests loved her and she added such a special touch to our wedding. Lastly, Sonja was simply a pleasure to have at our wedding. She is a genuine and warm person that my mother-in-law was delighted to chat with as she packed up her equipment after the ceremony. If you have an upcoming event in need of a violinist, do yourself a favor and call Sonja, she’s the best!!!
13. Worm Book
Address: 6101 E Coury Dr, Camp Verde, AZ 86326 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
I popped into here on a whim to see if they had a fantasy book I wanted, and sure enough, they did! Great selection and service
Small quaint place. Very peaceful and great help
Nice local book store and you can rent a u haul as well.
Friendly owner with a lot of local recomendations on trails and restaurants.
They will order any books.
Small little bookstore in Sedona, nothing special, but glad I stopped by, owner/cashier real friendly guy. 4 stars only due to limited selection
Nice place ok selection
Couldn’t find it
Wasn’t impressed. Our son was looking for a pre-teen book. Basically no selection. We ended up at another store in town that had way more options. They also have a U Haul franchise if that helps round out the business.
14. Hooked On Books
Address: 148 S Main St, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
Great gentleman with wonderful customer service directed me to right what I needed! Books galore could of spent hours!
You can find a lot of treasure in here for steals with what they charge
Great place to go… although they didn’t have what I wanted.
This place is a fun little adventure, it’s like a maze of books inside. Definitely worth a visit. The owner is a friendly local. The store also sells some secondhand jewelry and a limited amount of art supplies. It’s a bit pricey for me personally, I was charged $8 for a secondhand paperback. So it’s kind of more of a support a local business experience, then a get a bunch of cheap books kind of deal.
Seemed like a fine bookstore from the reviews and storefront, but I’m unable to know for sure since it was still closed when I showed up at 10:30
The sign out front only says BOOKS, but once inside you will know this place is Hooked On Books. Kind of reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode where the book worm survived a nuclear bomb, but wound up breaking his glasses
The store was closed , sign said open no note just closed . Looked at watch supposed to be open , looked in windows all lights were off door was locked ….. closed . Went back several different times closed , door was locked all lights off no note on door …. Closed . Disappointed it it closed . Mad that was no note , would understand if shop was emptied out then I would understand but was not and the door was still locked .
Not a friendly place. Cost of used books to high.
15. Puscifer – The Store
Address: 140 Main St, Jerome, AZ 86331 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
Why wouldn’t you make a point of visiting this amazing shop?! Do you really need to read reviews? Just go!
Awesome stuff, friendly staff!
Awesome
Good albums nd wine storebcombine in 1.. The woman bartender was soo nice, the one in the record are just okey ( as some of the complaint here you be judge) … cool stuff theyre selling.. and signed authograph from band Tools!
Brilliant
Cool place, bought a book and vinyl of a Tool performance at 1993 Lollapalooza. Wife did some wine tasting (and purchasing).
Jeez Louise! The store attendants here were SO RUDE. Hope there can be some training on how to treat people (/prospective customers) with basic respect and kindness. Because that’s seriously lacking
Worst customer service experienced in Jerome. Clerks were too busy on their cellphone to raise their heads and acknowledge us. I suspect it was due to the color of our skin because as soon as white customers walked-in they almost flew out of their seats in attention.
Went in with a group of friend and the employees down stairs, a girl and guy, was so incredibly rude to us all. They were smug and entitled. We are all adults in our 40’s and nonconfrontational as well as fans of the owner but we all left and won’t be back.
16. Redbox
Address: 1100 S, AZ-260, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
Pretty cool place, nice and friendly workers with an upbeat attitude!!
Friendly service with a smile. Nice clean facility.
Wonderful people who work at this Starbucks. I think these folks epitomize what the owner had in mind with his staff working to serve people. Great job Starbucks as this place deserves a 5 star rating. I’ll keep coming back as long as these folks are working there!
Drive through is a bit slow. Best to order on app n walk in n pick up.
the staff is nice and always get the order correct but while ordering in the drive thru are a little rude and in such a rush to move on to the next person saying “are you done yet” after each item even if it’s just 3 drinks and a croissant, they seem upset for us ordering multiple things and trying to rush us along.
It’s ok, it’s Starbucks.. My opinion is that it’s just over priced coffee.
Would give zero stars if I could. Refused to fill my fiance and mines order today the way we asked (extra ice in a trenta cup) when every Starbucks we have ever been to fills the order no problem. Went to the Starbucks up the street and as I stated they filled out order no problem. Alex (the manager) stated it was a corporate policy that they couldn’t do that (later said it was a store policy when we told her we know it’s not). Will not be returning here EVER!
STAFF NOT THERE DURING BUSINESS HOURS
I stopped by Starbucks this morning at 5:16am to order a hot drink on my way to Los Angeles. There were a few cars before me and a few cars behind me. After waiting about ten minutes I proceeded to the pickup window. No one was there working at all. Starbucks management, please make sure the store is staffed during business hours so as to not waste people’s time. Thank you.
Waited 45 minutes to get my coffee !! The cashier in the drive thru was super rude for no reason. Never going back !!
19. Southwest Guitar Instruction
Address: 3440 Fairway Cir, Cornville, AZ 86325 , Verde Village , Arizona , United States
Nice and organized. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Nice selection, well organized, pleasant staff.
Clean store, friendly people, good bargains. BUT THEY DON’T ENFORCE THE MASK MANDATE!!
The pricing in this store is a little expensive, seeing they get it all for free. As a donation person to this store, sometimes I buy it here and re donate here so they sell the same thing again and again. I am sure I’m not the only one. I have seen better prices in other goodwills for similar. Plus we now have a few second had stores in town. Right now anyone can find work who needs it. Every store I go to has help wanted???
Seems the stock has slim Pickens for shorts store clean and good selection in housewares. Didn’t require I wear a mask, like Twice Nice. Yay! Seems prices have gone up since I was here last year. Quick, easy check out.
Employee named Deb was extremely rude and unkind. I left my card in my car and apologized and said I would go get it real quick and she immediately raised her voice at me and proceeds to say “Then you need to get out!! I have a line, (which was one person). What are you looking at?! Are you going to go get it or get out I have costumers waiting. Hurry up go right now!!” and proceeds to throw her arms in the air and rolls her eyes at me. I run to my car to find it and come back to tell her I left it at the house and apologized. She says very sarcastically, “You can go talk to my manager if you’d like” with a cold fake smile. I left to my car and she comes out of the store looking and pointing at me. No reason to treat someone like that. Watch out for her I guess.
I think the prices are too high. I shop at thrift stores when I want to find a deal, not when I want to find something about the same price as Walmart but slightly used or even heavily used. I’m not feeling much goodwill at Goodwill.
Prices were way to high! Seems everything went up at least a dollar, whats the point of shopping there when i can go get the same items brand new for the same price? Isnt everything donated? Someone is making a killing
