Great range of guitars, very helpful, nice and professional staff. Highly recommended !!
If you want vintage, go to Imperial!
Just went in to kill some time while on a work trip. The owner couldn’t have been nicer.
Great and diverse selection of guitars. Just the right mix of vintage and new. The owner didn’t try to give me any big sales pitch and pretty much insisted I plug in or play anything I wanted.
If every guitar shop had this kind of vibe, there would probably be way more guitar players.
So do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
I went to Imperial Vintage Guitars in Orange the other day to checkout a guitar that I saw online. Instrument pricing and condition varied, but overall they offer a good selection of guitars for a small storefront.
The guitar that I went to see was a Gibson (I’m keeping the model out) that was listed in “excellant” condition. The online pictures looked very good as well! Their description did mention some playwear and scratches. However, in person I would not grade the guitar as excellent. While the guitar played well and had no major issues, I’d put it in just good condition. Of course opinions are subjective. For me the guitar was overpriced for its condition. I’m sure they would have taken less, but I decided not to make an offer at this time.
Still, I do recommend stopping in and checking them out. It is a guitar players candy store!
Just had my wedding this past weekend and we are so happy we went with Moses as our live entertainment! Initially, we thought we wanted a full on band, but I didn’t want to pay big bucks for them to be off to the side and no one really paying attention to them. After more research, I saw Moses on IG working his magic and I knew I had to have him at our wedding!!
I’m not going to lie, I thought I had buyers remorse after we booked him because of our tight budget. But after hearing all our guest rave about him during our ceremony and cocktail hour, I knew we made the RIGHT decision! He’s not only a talented guitarist, he’s professional, fun, personable, has style and just overall a great entertainer. I hope my friends book him so I can see him again!!
Our experience with Moses was five stars from start to finish. I don’t need to speak for his talent — you can see for yourself on his Instagram/YouTube/Spotify. His guitar playing really does sound that flawless in real life!
We had Moses put together a custom song arrangement for my bridal processional (Marry Me by Jason Derulo) and it turned out perfectly. Moses also replayed it for us during cocktail hour and made my husband cry! Lol. Definitely one of the highlights of our wedding day.
Prior to the wedding, we had a call with Moses to go over details. Since we were using his sound system for the ceremony, he coordinated with our officiant to make sure she knew how to use the mic. He also instructed her to move the mic before announcing “you may now kiss your bride” so that she and the mic wouldn’t be in the background of our photos. We really appreciated this attention to detail and this is just one example of the professionalism you’ll get if you hire Moses.
Speaking of sound systems, Moses definitely uses state-of-the-art equipment. We were very impressed with the quality of sound while Moses was performing for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The mic that we used during the ceremony worked perfectly as well and all our guests could hear us. I was actually just re-watching some videos from the wedding (not our professional one, just videos taken on phones) and was impressed by how clearly the sound picked up even on phone videos.
As a person, Moses is awesome. We invited him to stay for the reception and had so much fun dancing with him.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Moses for about two years now seeing him perform at many events. Not only is he talented but he is such a nice guy. When it came time to plan my proposal I couldn’t think of anyone better than Moses to play music for our special moment. Moses was early, professional and brought the cherry on top to our proposal plans. We can’t wait to see Moses again!

Address: 17769 Santiago Blvd Suite C, Villa Park, CA 92861 , Villa Park , California , United States
Great coffee, service is awesome. The ladies who work there are friendly and know you and your drink! Can’t beat it for a local hangout.
Do you have a place that you have seen out of the corner of your eye…..and alway drove by thinking maybe I should stop there someday?
Well, for years I saw the Coffee Grove and said that I should try it sometime. Today I did. Oh do I wish I had done so much sooner!!! When I walked in I thought I could there the theme song from Cheeers, you know.. somewhere where they always know you name and they are always glad you came!
I had a Carmel latte and a sweet roll. Kia made it perfect for me and the sweet roll was delicious. This my new coffee hangout. It’s a small place but they will always know your name and be glad you came. See you there.
Parking: Easy to park and enter!
Great Cappuccinos and Great People! I come here every time I am in town, and I Love the “Cheers” like atmosphere. 10/10! Thank you Jerry, Diana, Sylvia, Hazel, Abba, Elody & all the girls.
Cappuccino is good, I love the music inside. I will come back to try sandwiches.
Good place for short meetings.
Love everything but the tough parking.Great personal service, delicious truffles B&W my fav. But the best thing to me by far is the hot chocolate! Best I’ve had, I’d go to five star just for that!
It looks like it has a wonderous atmosphere but the odious tepid smell of mold assaulted my senses as soon as the door opened into my face. Now mind you, I did not see any of such, and the staff did say that the do there best….. so I second chance may be in order soon.
I bought 3 coffee bread and they tasted nasty. On top of the taste, they had a smell. Idk if it’s just under new management or if the quality of the food has gone down but I would check on the food that is sold.
However the drinks are still great (got a nutty monkey and a hot chocolate) as well as the service. Fix the food snacks and it goes up 5 stars
7. Gulf Music Sales
Address: 620 W Freedom Ave, Orange, CA 92865 , Villa Park , California , United States
Love Rockwell’s in Villa park…food and service is always good.
They have two branches one in Orange circle called Watson’s, which the service is bad and always( been there 3 times) they get the order wrong..
The food was great. My wife had an omelet that she really enjoyed, and she thought the English muffins was crazy good. I had the corned beef hash and eggs, which was also really good. They appear to make the corner beef in house. IT was definitely not from a can. Again, really good. The staff was really friendly also. We have been here before and will be back.
They always have great cakes readily available for purchase, and their variety of goody treats will appeal to everyone!
First time there it was ok for breAkfast
Wish I had tried something different next time will be dinner!
Good but not as great as expected
Went to the one in San clemente. Rude service. Took the food over an hour to come out. Manager was the worst of all the staff. My guess is bad leadership and training. No way it’ll last. Food was decent. Better service at 7/11.
It used to be really good. Not sure if it changed ownership but the menu has changed, the food was just okay and the service was lacking. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
Went for breakfast and they have good breakfast but found a hair in my plate.

Reviews
Friendly, welcoming, talented teachers with genuine patience, great personal experience in the music industry as well as a lot of good humor. You will always meet lots of smiles when you walk into the waiting room.
Anything you need related to the guitar, lessons, instrument setup, or repairs, Adam is fantastic. Definitely top notch for learning an instrument.
I got a starter banjo for Christmas last year and asked around about banjo lessons and ended up calling Adam Speth at Adam’s Music Studio in Orange. I’ve been spending Friday afternoons with Adam ever since. Adam is a superb musician and very passionate about playing music, teaching music, tinkering with instruments and spreading the overall joy of music. His studio is in the offices of an old law firm, converted into teaching rooms for Adam and his staff (Doug, Andrea, Jeff, Mark, Oliver). The atmosphere is awesome, with musicians of all levels from all walks of life coming and going and mingling in the waiting room and the sounds of music everywhere. My son takes guitar lessons from Doug, also a world class musician. Very reasonable rates, great vibe, and their love for playing music is infectious. After a long week at a demanding job, my Friday after work banjo lesson is the best part of my week and I always start the weekend fired up to keep playing. Adam even loaned me a banjo way better than my starter banjo as the starter won’t stay in tune for more than 30 seconds. Great place run by a great guy.
10. Billy Blast Drums
Address: 586 S Kensington Rd, Orange, CA 92869 , Villa Park , California , United States
Great music store with a nice selection of beginning to pro instruments and accessories on display. Clean and well-organized merchandise displays. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Nice selection of music solo, ensemble and method books. Private lessons available. Large repair department – Frankie has worked on many of our personal instruments over the years and we followed him here from his High Desert location to have our repairs done. Reasonable sized parking lot.
Awesome service… Totally recommend for all go to stuff music needs. Cant wait for after all ia safe to get started with the kids music lessons. EXCITED!!!
Nice, helpful people. Will definitely be back.
Clean, well-stocked, friendly service.
prices seem high..
Quick trip to pick up a music stand. Went to the main desk, and the young man pointed to the area where all the music stands were. Found an adjustable stand that came with a bag for a reasonable price. I’m surprised that they only had pink or blue, no black. The young man, after taking care of a phone call, quickly took care of my transaction. The main entrance is on the side facing the street just around the corner from the parking lot. It was boarded up (glass broken), but the door works.
I have a 2 kids learning piano and guitar for 3 months and always the restroom is out of order is not fix for 3 months
Post your debit/credit return policy in your business! !!!Where it’s visible for your customers !!!How could u expect families to wait 2-4 weeks for a return. I rented a violin & purchased a violin started kit for $35. Not once did the cashier let me know about your awful policy! Spend 20 min arguing back and forth with your store manager & finally district manager approved my same day return. I called corporate during this whole mess. POINTLESS! Wish I’d gone to a different store to rent the 1,000$ violin THUMBS DOWN Anaheim location!!!! WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!
I will not recommend this biz to other parents. Beware. Not honest. False advertisements on flyer passed out to parents at our district music mtg.
At the store, they check your credit score without explanation and alter your price later.
Wonder if this should be checked by the BBB.
Beware, when calling the 888 number. You’ll waste your time. They keep you holding without letting you know they are closed.
12. Guitar Center
Address: 20 City Blvd W Suite 907D, Orange, CA 92868 , Villa Park , California , United States
So much to choose from and just a great atmosphere. I bought a nice red bass guitar and amp here.
Very nice and experienced associates.
Plenty of instruments, as ND yes, you can test them before you buy. They offer classes to learn how to play an instrument
Im partial to the one on Sunset….
There’s alota takuaches in the acoustic section but it’s alright
The stock in the Drum dept. is on the chincy side. I guess it’s kind of a given with online sales these days. It’s pretty lame that a 22″ Aquarian Super Kick II Clear Bass Drumhead is $52 in store, but on MusiciansFriend, it’s $45 with free shipping. That makes me sad in the face.
BUT… there are things in store that make them still worthwhile, like this sleek, sexy little thing. I think this has to be the best Snare Drum I have ever heard! DW Collector’s 6.5×13 Stainless Steel Snare. My God, I want to whisper it sweet nothings as I caress its perfect little Mag Throw-Off… This bad boy puts the DW 6.5×14 Collector’s Black Nickel Over Brass, the Ludwig maple/oak, the PDP maple/walnut, and even the $883 DW 6.5×14 13 ply Purpleheart Custom Snare to absolute shame… I need to come up with $500 NOW! I want to spend the rest of my life with old shiny lugs here. So happy in the pants, am I!
I’m getting off track. This store really needs inventory. It’s looking bare, and that’s not good considering this is a small location. I won’t diarrhea all over it, though, because of its saving grace… that snare!!!
One more thing…. The people that work here need to ANSWER THE GOD DAMN PHONE!!!! It’s been ringing off the hook the whole time I’ve been here b and they answered one time! ONCE!! As a customer, it’s driving me out of the store. I don’t want to hear it anymore. Silence it, rip the cord out, ANYTHING, just make it stop!!!
Nice big show store but not very many guitars & not one employee greeted me or ever said one word to me.
Came in to buy a booster pedal… But had to kill some time for seating at bdubs… Started playing an electric when some employee with came to me and turned my amp all the way down… Didnt even know what volume to turn down, i had to point to it (and hes the “guitar” person) i talked to him before he doesnt know anything lol
Ordered a used instrument from this store via their website. Despite being quoted 3-5 days to arrive, it didnt even ship until the 6th day. When it arrived, the instrument had such a poor setup that a handful of fret positions wouldnt even produce a note. On top of that, there was significant damage to the edge of the body that was not pictured in the listing.
I called the site to see what we can do and was told that they are very short staffed lately and that they would have the customer service manager Eric, call me two days later. When he didn’t call, I called the site and was told that he wasnt in that day. After explaining that he was supposed to call me, the girl on the phone changed her response to “he’ll be in at 1230”.
I called back and found that this was the first he was hearing of the issue at all. His response? Was that he could discount me $100 so that I can use that money to drive to my local store and pay for a setup. Seriously. That was the offer. Go get a setup yourself. Nothing to the delay in shipping and nothing for the damage to the instrument nor the trouble of having to chase down a proper setup on an item that wasn’t exactly cheap.
He also stated that he cant comp the setup because “they’re literally a different company”. Which is clearly not true.
As if the offer wasn’t bad enough, he was chuckling and dismissive the entire time. Then again, you get what you pay for with guitars… and you get what you pay for with employees.
Moral of the story? If you expect better from Guitar Center… don’t. Those days are long gone.
I am a professional musician and music instructor. I have sent dozens and dozens of students to purchase from Jim’s Music. And I have personally purchased more than a dozen new instruments from Jim’s myself. They have been in the area, serving Orange County for decades. They sell and rent thousands of instruments to the local school districts, and they outfit many area churches with their sound systems. All of the staff is very knowledgable and professional, and they are not there to give input when they do not know the proper answer. They also do not try to upset you, or give you advice just to get you to purchase something. They are trusted people, and most of the staff are professional area musicians as well. I send all of my students there, and have for fifteen years. Great store, where you will normally get great service.
La tienda tiene un surtido único y los que atienden son muy amables no se por que que casi no hay clie tes los precios están bien y muy organizado todo esta rienda merece que los nusicos latinos sepan de ella saludos
The personal is very friendly, I been buying on this place for 5 years, after a bad experience on guitar center in my last 3 times visit that place, (been buying for years) so I decided to look for different store, and I find this place has excellent service, some times after they know me, ther order Aguilar bass cabs with not put deposit, just they trust me, I do recommend this place!
Does not have promark DC 50s
Nice selection of guitars, helpful service. Welcome change from guitar center
Buen servicio, buenas existencias
Employees are rude, unhelpful and one of them called my friend a “retard” for stringing his guitar incorrectly. I would go to Guitar Center every time over this place if there was one by my house, but unfortunately this is the closest music store around.
First impressions are everything. Walked in, two employees looked over and did not greet me let alone acknowledge my existence. Walked around in the guitar section for 10 minutes without anyone to ask me if I needed help. Employees were talking to each other about TV as I browsed around. My intentions were to purchase a guitar, and they lost a sale and a customer. I am never coming back!
Don’t waste your time! Awful customer service! My son and I walked around for while, we were not helped until I went to the counter. The man behind the counter acted like I was interrupting him, when he was just standing there. He looked at me like I was rude to ask for help. He proceeded to show me the expensive guitars for a beginning player- my teenage son. He made us feel unwelcome and unhappy we were in the store. We left without buying a guitar and lessons. I am taking my business where I am treated nice. Guitar center was much more pleasant of an experience.

Ed @ GoMC is very attentive to detail and collaborative in the process of any case design. I have used GoMC’s services for a few projects and have always been happy with the product and service!
The customer service was amazing at this place. Talked to Nathan and helped me with everything i needed. I recommend this place for anyone who needs a road case.
I had a board from a different company and was having some issue with it and wanted to place a flat board on it. I brought it in and Ed really took care of me. While installing it he noticed the foam coming off and just put new foam in there and made it super clean. Very friendly, great pricing, professional. Will definitely come back for my next board.
