The staff were friendly and helpful. One person spent time listening to my son play different models, gave tips to improve sound, and shared useful personal experience. My son is very satisfied with his new tuba.
Adam is the best in in the business, glad he’s with you at Cadence music!
Super helpful, excellent customer service! They are a part of the local music community, so they knew exactly what my son needed (I’m not a musician, but I felt perfectly comfortable). My son is thrilled to be starting high school with his step-up instrument! This is the beginning of a long-term relationship for our low brass needs!
They had what we were looking for and easy parking. I found the customer service average; clerks on duty seemed less than motivated to help.
I will say they have made an extrodianary effort to correct the issues we had. They have a fair rent to own program. The only reason I am rating 4 stars is because it did take some time. Overall make sure you are very clear what you want and what you will get
I broke a clarinet and without a problem the next day Cadence Music picked it up and fixed it very fast about 4 days and while it was being fixed I got a loner…GREAT EXPERIENCE
I had my oboe fixed there about a month ago and when I got it back it was still broken and it cost $150 originally for them to do nothing to it, but on the bright side they polished the keys so then it made it look like they actually fixed my instrument
Be Very careful with this company. They charged me for a Rental on a snare drum that i never saw or even asked for. They said they delivered the drum to a Middle school for my son and the school knew nothing about a drum. Cadence then sent me to collections for $800.00, I found out about the drum from the collection company. FRAUD
The owner is extremely rude and the employees are incompetent. I usually go to Mostly Music in North Fort Myers because the owner is nicer and knowledgeable about all instruments. he is not just out to make a quick buck by ripping off students. I am going to try First note in the Cape next because I heard, from a music teacher, they are less expensive and more honest than Cadence.

Thomas is an excellent guitar teacher. He has a very patient temperament and relaxed manner that put the student at ease. He recognizes that each student is an individual, and helps the student pursue their personal musical interests and goals. He is a totally competent and capable instructor.
i have had several instructors over the years only to become so frustrated knowing that i have it in me to play a musical instrument. i have been ready to just throw the towel in and then i was referred to mr. thom morris and my music life has flourished immensely he was not only patient, but absolutley caring about personal goals. thank you mr. morris for giving me my life at its fullest!!!
What a great way to learn guitar. 5 stars
If you want to have your child dissapointed after being surprised with a guitar lesson only to get to his location- he is a No Show!!
How do you ever redeem your self after a dissapointing 1st lesson..No Lesson.
We even asked how do we confirm…he said just show up.we did.
I would not entrust my child to someone who can’t communicate and does not care if they dissapoint the kids.
Im just hoping the next “professional” i try is really a professional!

Guitar Center in Fort Myers is one of the beat Guitar Centers I have been.. (California/Tennessee/ Florida) what is it different from the other guitar Centers? The people.. the manager.. the sales associates.. go there.. and you will not be disappointed..
Mike was awesome!
Guitar center is always a great place to go after a long day of work for me. I just sat down behind a keyboard and started playing. As long as you know how to play no one asks you to move.
Helpful staff, great inventory
If you need ANYTHING music …
This is the place…
Not the greatest service
I’ve been here multiple times and every time I go there and the employees are helpful but always very pretentious about everything. I leave empty handed because I’ll ask about a product that is in my budget and they usually say that that is not a good product and trying to out-smart me about things that I have researched however they always end up having a “better”, extremely more expensive product. I am on a budget and I really need this product and don’t want to spend shipping costs on it if they have it at the store. I understand if they don’t have the product in stock, but they don’t have to be pretentious and assume I don’t know anything just because I am female. It is extremely annoying and I am done doing business with them if they are so interested, in trying to make me look stupid and having me go way out of my budget on simple adapters and products.
My son wanted to play bass guitar in a middle school talent show. Who am I to say if its a good idea? So we purchased a 220 dollr bass, amp strap , and electronic piano. We have spent thousands at that store. Im a Gibson so its not my first rodeo. Anyway he flunked the audition and only plays piano. Yesterday we tried to exchang the 220 bass guitar for an electric 6 string, and pay the difference. Well we were apparently 10 days late on the return policy so we has to eat the bass. We drive 40 miles to get there from Naples and the customer service is a bunch of clown dolts, the policies are stiffer than Louie C K on viagra. Im inthe process of setting a band up for the neighboor kids. And i wont go back to Guitar center, they left me with a sour note. William Gibson
I would suggest visiting after the pandemic has settle down. We had gone just to look at the instruments but were frequently disrupted by employees that seemed to have wanted us out quickly. It wasn’t the greatest experience.
Jay was extremely knowledge, trustworthy, and helpful in our piano selection. We highly recommend this company.
David is fantastic!
Wonderful, helpful people. They know their products and are willing to work with their customers. They helped our church obtain a much needed piano and worked with us to everyone’s satisfaction. If I could give them 10 starts, I would!!!
Shopping at Jay and Kay’s is always a pleasure.
This is more of a music school than a music store if that makes sense. Sure, there is some sheet music and instruments for sale, but it’s obvious that they are for the student teacher relationship. The staff guy was pretty nice to me and I got a good vibe of the place though, just not really my cup of tea
Friendly and knowledgeable … good experience!
I’m new to the area being only 4 years in Cape Coral. While our 1st home we built didn’t have room for a Piano. I made sure that our 2nd home we are building now does. With all the shortages of product inventory I decided to buy a Piano now. Being a former business owner I try to buy everything from local companies. I called Jay & Kay by phone I explained exactly what I’ve told you above. I said to Jay I’m picking up a sandwich from Parkway subs and illl be there in 20 minutes. Upon my arrival I entered the store. No greetings. I walked around for about 25 minutes. No one ever approached us. I took a card off their desk and wrote a note. Left my phone number. No one has ever called me.back. That was on 07/26/2021. Not sure why Jay invited us to his showroom with detailed instructions of their location. Waste of time. I drove down to Piano Distributors and then to Nicks Pianos. I was greeted very well by Anthony and Nick at each location. Then I drive to Dave’s Piano’s Tamps area again another professional very knowledgeable as well. I compared the 3. I made my selection and place a deposit on the 60k piano
Don’t bother going to Jay & Kay they don’t need to waste your time
Sadly to say I wanted to buy in my local neighborhood. Support the local businesses after the Covid 19 destruction.
I personally left their business card on the counter and had wrote a note on the back asking them to call me with my phone number on it. Crickets !!!
10. Palm Coast Studio
Address: 6225 Presidential Ct #150, Fort Myers, FL 33919 , Villas , Florida , United States
Dr. Teruni is an incredible teacher. In just a few lessons, she has given my son the tools he needs to make huge strides. And he continues to improve and learn quickly. Even he seems surprised by the difference her instruction has made. We absolutely adore Miss Asya, and recommend her wholeheartedly.
This is a piano teacher who takes the time to understand the goals of the student. She has a nice demeanor but also makes sure the students are following all the “rules” of playing so no bad habits are developed. She helped my daughter learn the notes so quickly. She also makes sure she is counting and has good posture. If you want to participate in recitals, that is an option.
Dr. Teruni is an exceptional instructor and goes above and beyond for her students, she truly cares about her students progression. She quickly recognized my level of knowledge and has really helped guide me through with efficiency and patience to truly understand the fundamentals of the piano but also the fundamentals of reading and understanding the technique required to perform it. Highly recommend her services for anyone of any age who wishes to learn the piano.
Sidenote: She has a wonderful studio at her home.
12. TR Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 8991 Crown Bridge Way, Fort Myers, FL 33908 , Villas , Florida , United States
My son Joshua started learning piano at TR Music and Voice Lessons last year, and he loves every moment of it! Ms. Adams is incredibly patient and makes each lesson fun yet challenging.
My daughter is 6 and takes private piano lessons here from Bobby. He is so personable and patient – exactly right for her. We previously saw a piano teacher at a different place who my daughter found too intimidating. Conveniently located and the lobby has plenty of waiting space. I love the flexibility for making up missed lessons by joining the Sunday group session. He also offers text reminders, and so on. Really great place – I highly recommend!
Mike is an exceptional guitar instructor. I’ve been taking lessons with him, and I’m thrilled with my progress as a guitarist. Mike’s teaching style is both informative and enjoyable. He breaks down complex guitar techniques into manageable steps and provides practical tips that have been instrumental in my growth. His passion for music is evident, and I highly recommend Mike for guitar lessons.
Taylor Robinson is a marketing company. That’s it. They’re not local. They pay their teachers 40% of what they charge the customer. Teacher does all the work and driving and TR keeps more than half the money for making a website and stealing business away from local musicians and stores.

Great studio, variety of music production, clean sound & set up!
Book your session here, totally worth it
I love this studio! I always get the best quality sound when recording here , the producer D’lajaith is one of the best honestly he can do anything you’d want him to do from scratch the energy is always great . 10 outta 10 recommend coming here for your session
Working with Dljaith has been an awesome professional experience! I’ve enjoyed creating projects and collaborating ideas. Always well informed on the latest tips on how to be successful in the industry.
14. Fort Myers School of Music
Address: 1400 Colonial Blvd #260, Fort Myers, FL 33907 , Villas , Florida , United States
I have been taking lessons since July, 2017 with Kay and enjoy every lesson. She is patient, fair and a delightful person! I’m surprised
at what I have been able to learn and highly recommend adult lessons.
I am having piano lessons with Jen. She is very patient and an awesome teacher. She has put the spark back in me to continue moving forward with playing piano and I look forward to my lessons with her every week. :> Thank you Jen and thank you Fort Myers School of Music for having such a great teacher.
My son has had an amazing experience in this school. His teachers are super professional (Ms. Diane and Ms. Melissa). A very special thank to Rosa (front desk) for her patience and attention to details. We appreciate her and the excellent job she does. Thank you.
We have had 5 lessons so far and 2/5 the instructor has called out. The very first lesson they didn’t even let us know until we were already there.
Fort Myers School of Music is great place to learn music and instruments.
Firstly, my complaint isn’t about my instructor. Steve has been fantastic from day one; he’s extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. I stuck with this school as long as I could because of him, and it’s hard to leave for that reason.
Be prepared, DON’T miss a lesson. They won’t reschedule and you’ll still have to pay for that week. You can go to a group meeting to make up, but you’re paying for a private lesson; makes perfect sense.
BE AWARE, they remind you of your first renewal, and then renew your lessons without as much as a heads up.
DON’T call with ANY complaints or questions; they don’t seem to care. They just remind you of the paperwork you signed, that they hardly explained (and what they did explain, they were very vague). You won’t get anything but a nasty reply. I had called to inform them I wanted to cancel my lessons while I was out of town for the next few weeks (being I didn’t want to pay for them and not be there) and the only thing they could say was “well, aren’t you doing them online?”
Great professors, not so much with the front desk staff. I will truly miss working with Steve.
Was interested in taking lessons. The location & pricing were good for me. Perhaps the instructors are great, but we will never know as the person who answers the phone is really not a good representative of the business and is losing you customers. Almost sounded like a 14yo girl who didn’t know the answers to any questions, didn’t understand why you would want to know a little about the teacher u were selecting…just there so the phone stops ringing. So annoying as I really wanted to try this place out. Giving a 2nd star for at least there being a website & someone answering the phone.
15. Trackout Studios

16. Stellar Records
Address: 4204 Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901 , Villas , Florida , United States
Absolutely love Stellar Records! I’m so excited about them opening up. The owners and employees are fantastic people and so fun to talk with. Can’t wait to stop in again!
Fantastic selection and great atmosphere!
Best record store
Excited for what this local vinyl spot will become. They are working on increasing inventory at the moment. Had a nice conversation with the owner, Liz. Friendly chill environment. Wide musical options – jazz, heavy, hip hop, alternative, rock, soft. They’ve been open for a few weeks now. They have a listening station to check out used vinyl quality before buying which I really appreciate. New/used and a bargin $2.99 bin. From what I looked at the grading of used vinyl is in line. Also some 8-track and cassette items for purchase. She is reviewing and purchasing collections by appointment at the moment and was interested in my “want list” should she come across it. Picked up a Wu-Tang (forever), Tribe and OXO vinyl. Thanks, Liz!!!
They were out of stickers. She’s getting more in and she promised to set some aside for me.
17. Villano Music and Music Lessons
Address: 205 9011 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL 33777 , Villas , Florida , United States
My experience with Mr. Villano recently was quite memorable. I needed a family member’s guitar restrung-I did not have any reference but liked what I read on the website so after calling to inquire pricing and hours I took the guitar to his shop on a Friday. He let me know the additional touch ups that he would do aside from the strings. The strap also needed to be re-placed and upon his suggestion I agreed. Mr Villano called me the next day to let me know it was ready! I could tell the difference as soon as he took it out of the case! I don’t play guitar but have always appreciated a ‘fine tuned’ instrument. He also shared with me the history of this particular guitar which was quite interesting! I appreciated the quick turn around and cannot wait for my brother-in-law to pick it up and play!
Thankyou!
Barb Mc.
Absolutely the best string instrument set-up, adjustment, and repairs.
I have known Len Villano for many years, and he is my number one call
for maintenance of all my guitars. He’ll put any guitar or bass in the most playable condition possible. Highly recommended!
Gave great advice on the repair of my guitar strings. The owner (Mr.Villano), made helpful and insightful suggestions. Very knowledgeable!
Nice staff. Small inventory
It would be nice if they open when they say they will be open…
Brought my brand new telecaster in for a setup and the owner did a good job, however when I brought it in a few weeks later to have fret sprout addressed, the owner mangled the high E side of the fretboard. It appears he used improper tools, sloppy technique, and did no protective taping. It is rough, uneven, and he also proceeded to over bevel the frets to almost 3 times the proper length so the string constantly pops off the side. When I brought it to his attention and asked him to pay to have the neck that he ruined replaced, he refused.
Called the store to see if they could repair an isntrument for me and as I was calling I also visited their website. The website said closed so I hung up and was going to call back tomorrow. I then received a call from them which I didn’t ask for and I tried to explain why I was calling but the guy told me I was wasting my time. He never listened to what I had to say. I would have not given any stars but that is not an option to post. Rude.
I called to ask what thier business hours were on a Thursday at 1:30pm. The old man answered the phone “Villano Music”. He hung up on me I thought by accident so I called back. The second time he answered with, “didn’t you notice I hung up the phone?” I don’t think he wants his business to last. Go to Sam Ash if you want a courteous person. Wow what a disappointment.
18. Susan Niekamp Studios Inc.
Address: 12995 S Cleveland Ave #280, Fort Myers, FL 33907 , Villas , Florida , United States
If you’re looking for furniture and decorations, then this is the place for you. They don’t have a lot of bric a brac. Only a small area in the back corner. I also saw a few appliances. Stoves, refrigerators, microwave oven. They do have some clothes to search through. It’s all very well organized! It’s super clean as well. Every wee they have a different color tag for 50% off. The color changes on Monday.
Manager at this store is cathy. She is a wonderful person and Very helpful. The employees are very pleasant. Prices at this store are higher than some thrift stores but the quality of the goods they sell is top shelf.I have bought enough to furnish two houses over the past year. If you are not happy with the prices check with them for sales.
Richie is an excellent person to do business with! We went in just to look ,and found a piece of furniture we liked. Not only was Richie accommodating but he also helped us troubleshoot delivery. A few days after picking up the furniture I went back and Richie helped me solve an issue. Even thought Richie had the sale him and his crew were still very polite and accommodating . I would recommend this store to anyone! The staff really live up to the St. Matthew’s mission.
They have high quality things with rotating color tags that are 50% off
lots of furniture recommend sign up for rewards
Great experience, great personal. Tammy and Tony made our day and our purchases possible, Great customer service.
The prices at this store are absolutely ABSURD. There’s no other way to describe it. They are asking prices for used goods that are higher than the items would have cost new. Feel free to skip this place.
Everything is overpriced. The clothing start from $6 for a regular mens shirt that isn’t in good shape to $60 for a dress…… Better off buying brand new. Come on.
Prices are over high for a second hand
