It’s close to home, fair, and good tasting. I really don’t have any reproof here.
The food was amazing. And everyone there was so friendly. Would highly recommend.
Slow
Food was okay. I’m not fond of the kiosk ordering. The employee was very helpful.
Its McDonald’s.
Personally I’ve worked here and I wouldn’t advise eating here. I’ve seen people cut themselves in the back by the food and nothing was done about it. It’s a very dirty place If you look. Plus no one is made to wash there hands.
Slow on service
I recently used the drive-thru at this location, and showed up on a Sunday at 10:59am intending on ordering lunch (they serve breakfast until 11 on sundays). I asked the drive-thru attendant if I could order lunch yet, and she replied (in a very cheery voice), “No.” I asked when they serve lunch, and she said, “11.” I said, “That’s one minute away!” To which she replied, “Yep!” This made me angry because she was being very pedantic and pettyI said, “OK, I will go and wait, then come back.” She then said, “You can’t wait in our drive-thru.” I just drove off and went to the sonic down the road. There was no reason for her to be like that with literally 1 minute until the switch.
I thought it was one of the best music stores I personally have ever been to and you could actually play the instruments instead of someone saying you have to buy it first
Palmers is the best music company in central Arkansas. They have almost everything you could ever want for your instruments. Also Brad is my guitar teacher and I think he is amazing
My daughter takes voice lessons there and LOVES it. Very family-friendly environment and the instructors do a lot to build self-esteem. There’s also a nice lobby for parents to hang out in.
I was looking at electric guitars and they didn’t offer to let me plug any of them in. How are you truly going to know if you like one or not if you can’t hear the sound.
Usually busy because they’re good at what they do!
My guitar was in for repairs for about 4 months. Almost no communication was provided about status of the repair work. It’s understandable with Covid making it difficult to have parts shipped, but the lack of adequate communication was uncomfortably disappointing. I don’t blame the young individual who was working on my guitar, but rather leadership who should have provided direction on appropriate and timely customer service communication. It doesn’t matter to me that it would have taken considerable time for repairs. But the lack of communication stating that due to a backlog in parts, and it was just a waiting game, would have been enough. A 30 second phone call every couple of weeks or so to advise a customer that no progress has been made is better than nothing…it would have been enough to have left my guitar there for months longer. The ironic thing about all this is that I really like the store and the people at Palmer Music, so I will most likely continue to purchase my music supplies from them and I hope my experience there was a one-off….
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.
7. Clarinda’s Crafts & Music
Address: 3 Trina Loop, Greenbrier, AR 72058 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
Bought an excellent sounding, sweet mandolin from Clarinda at a very reasonable price.
Well now Clarinda is the gal to do business with and maybe learn a thing or two about that special instrument you’ve been looking for. Even if you’re not player. Yet.
Inspiration is where it all starts. You’ll need a quality instrument that is comfortable to you ear and to wear. Because after all, that instrument you’re wearing is a part of you. Linked right to your heart. That’s it. Music.
Clarinda has good taste. Her selection of instruments are about the best values you’ll find. Value. Clarinda’s knowledge of selection. An instrument you’ll look forward to playing. Her personal attention to detail makes all the difference.
I bought 1 Loar LM-700-VS mandolin from Clarinda. I wanted a pick up installed. No problem. Done. I also bought an original version stock Loar LM-700-VS. Plugged in or not these mandolins are top notch! Will knock down your doors and the dogs will come runnin’ in! So to speak… couldn’t be happier. – Steve Kletzel – In Portland Oregon
Not only am I very pleased with my choice of a handmade Mia A7 mandolin, but also, my instructor just told me that we are both getting better; my playing AND my mandolin! Every time we met for first few of the seven weeks I have had it, he congratulated me on my purchase.
You won’t go wrong choosing a Clarinda-built instrument or one from the lines she carries.
8. Linda Marie’s
Address: 128 S Mt Olive Rd, Vilonia, AR 72173 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
Unbelievable quality and service from the employees. Very nice brands not found in a lot of stores. They carry Hobo purses and other high quality items and clothes. They have a men’s store next door that also has high quality items. I actually found The Dude shoes there that are only available at the Buckle or their website out of Italy. West Little Rock type store and service.
Nice parking lot.
Go get some hey dudes!
Good prices and great location..
Way too expensive.
9. Martin’s Piano & Electronics Service
Address: 9851 Brockington Rd Ste 9, Sherwood, AR 72120 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
I’ve dreamt of a grand piano my whole life! However, I wanted education on my options, a staff who would listen to my needs and a business I could always return to. I found all of that and more. Everyone in the store is engaging and has an authentic desire to help you find the piano that dreams are made of!
From education to delivery it was a wonderful experience!

I was sad to see my old Baldwin grand go, but the pin block was shot. I purchased a used Kawai grand from Stephen and have been very happy with both the piano and expert tuning services he has provided. In the process, I was given ample time to play floor models, and Stephen expertly handled the delivery and removal of my old piano. I highly recommend Stephen Wirges and his associates at Steinway Piano Gallery in Mayflower, AR.
Stephen not only is a great piano tuner, he is also a great resource for all musicians and teachers! He can build pianos from the ground up, and his knowledge about the instrument is unparalleled. We highly recommend!!
11. Conway Institute of Music
Address: 945 Carson Cove #103, Conway, AR 72034 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
My children especially my oldest daughter has been a student of Conway Institute of Music for 5 years. They offer the best instructors for all instruments. They work hard to listen to the parents and the children in their music choices from playing rock or country to doing more classical or jazz. We have taken multiple lessons from multiple teachers and have yet to meet an instructor who is not well-versed in what they are teaching or finding the best way to teach each child individually in the best way that they learn. Please consider them for all your music needs.
Great school, great teachers ,great atmosphere
I have been working at Conway Institute of Music for about eight months now, and it has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. As a former student of CIM, who took multiple different lessons for many years, I knew that I wanted to come back and positively impact the lives of students the way that my teachers, Israel and Justin, did for me. The owner, Jim Skelton, cares so much about the CIM students, and makes having a safe and FUN environment a priority! Working along side Jim and the rest of the teachers is an absolute pleasure!
12. Simple Simon’s Pizza
Address: 14 S Church St, Vilonia, AR 72173 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
Is buffet at lunch Pizza was good salad was good Is at a good price
Very relaxed atmosphere. Great pizza, nice employees.
We had the Buffet. The food was medium warm but tasty.
good service and good pizza
The worst place in the area to go and get some food! The service is absolutely horrible. They are rude, inconsiderate, and take forever to get the food to you. Then when they take an hour to get the food out and its 15 min till closing they come out to hurry you up and tell you they are closing whether you are done eating or not. Will never eat here again!
Pizza is good, but don’t go to the buffet! They can’t even get the basics out. Like a Pepperoni.
Would “Not” recommend!
Buffet keeps getting higher also.
Honestly let’s hope this place gets new management. Grossest pizza I’ve eaten. It’s really sad that people don’t care anymore than this about product freahness
13. Guitar Center
Address: 12315 Chenal Pkwy A, Little Rock, AR 72211 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
Very helpful staff. Pretty good selection of instruments and related gear.
Excellent Staff very helpful!
If you are a musician, then sometime you must go to Guitar Center. They have a lot of inventory and helpful staff. I would prefer a few more rooms to try gear out separate from the main floor. They carry new and used/vintage gear.
Good selection and helpful employees
Friendly staff and lots of cool toys!
It’s the only game in town
Drove from Conway to Little Rock only to find out the item I wanted to buy was out of stock after the online system said there were 2 in stock.
Went in to look, and found a guitar I have wanted for a few months. The price was half what it should have been so I asked the sales assistant to verify it. She verified the price to me twice before I agreed to buy it. Once I got to the register, she explained that the price was wrong and it went up around $300.00.
I was told she had spoken to a manager, but he refused to do anything about the error. When I explained that at the labeled price it was a great deal that I couldn’t pas up, but at the new price it really wasn’t a good deal, the sales assistant told me that if I really wanted the guitar, I should buy it and just love that I could play it.
I feel like this is a classic case of corporate idiocy and a great way to lose customers. I won’t be returning to this store and I doubt I will visit the chain again. While it is a little further for me to drive and the hours aren’t always conducive, I will probably visit the very nice guitar store in Russellville for my music needs in the future.
14. International Piano Gallery
Address: 5817 Crystal Hill Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72118 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
I’m a professional pianist, lived and worked in NYC, and I can tell you that there is no finer selection of top instruments, anywhere, for every pricerange, than Steve and Becky’s gallery. And not just the selection, but the service and professionalism is also second to none.
Very good selection and knowledgeable staff.
When I first spoke to Steve (the owner) he told me “I have your piano”. He wasn’t kidding. After giving me a tour of the shop he let me roam around at my leisure to try out the pianos until I found “the one”. His knowledge of pianos and their care made it easy to make this important decision.
Professional great showroom lots to see delivery in the price just pay taxes
Best Piano store in Arkansas hands down ( no pun intended) I purchased my very first Baby Grand piano from Steve and play it everyday .. Definitely recommend Steve and his knowledgeable staff to
anyone who is interested in quality pianos Grands, uprights etc.
Before you put your money down someplace else
you owe it to yourself to visit The International Piano
Gallery.
15. Valley Piano Co
Address: 3515 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72801 , Vilonia , Arkansas , United States
It’s a small shop that’s mostly focused on pianos but they also have guitars, basses, drum accessories and other related things. Their prices are very competitive as well.
Great store and large selection..
BEST
Great people, a very old store
I went into to buy a guitar. Very small selection
Lots of sheet music and DVDs but it is all on the computer today. Wonderful people. I wish them well!
My visit was to test the integrity of an electric guitar I had. Spoke to the guy behind the counter. (The one with the gray streaked goatee). Told him I was preparing to sell it via Facebook, and all I want to do is see if it sounds as it should. He said it was ok I was like great thanks. The buyer was from outta town and was shopping for guitar supplies. She had just bought amp still needed a cord possibly more. Asked her to meet up there since she was just down the road. She wanted to go in do to the rain. Instantly he started ranting that he’s a business man a professional and I was shady for what I had done. I was very polite. My reply ( I’m sorry I brought you a customer sure she meet up with me to buy a guitar for cheap but she still may need something) she was there for his childish act. ( she replied I do need a cord) He didn’t even bother to respond to her. He looks at me says someone smells bad like cigarettes… Wow 0 stars for your sir. Where’s your public relations at. Your welcome for that sell.

Reviews
I love it thay have everything I need
I’m not sure if the other reviewers caught the owners in a bad mood or I caught them in a great one. They were extremely helpful and nice to me and my family. I didn’t buy the guitar I was looking at and they didn’t pressure me into a sale at all. I checked the price on the left handed Taylor vs online and Jakes actually has the cheaper price which surprised me. I’ll be getting it tomorrow.
Conway’s music store
ok i just want to say that i have never in my life had a bad experience at jacks. i go there all the time. i dont even buy anything but yet the man still dont mind someone just browsing around. i even went in with some difficult questions and he answered every one of them. and i agree we should support our local music stores. does anyone remember stonehenge music. no thats because people lost interest. i sold my guitar to him (which i paid 200 for) and he bought it for 120. which is more than i should have gotten considering the wear that was on it and the two nics in the body. its a great place for beginners to go to and get a great deal.
I’ve been there quite a few times for DJ equipment, cords and accessories. Some okay help. Owner is nice to visit with.
Unfortunately, I needed some guitar strings on the fly, called to make a payment over the phone. “They don’t do that” so I will be taking my business to a larger business. I would like to spend $ with a local business, but when they refuse to adapt to the changing technology, I physically can’t spend $ with them.
Nice people, poor business skill.
Great place, sometimes the owners are rude though, you have to know exactly what you need or they get pissy. They have pretty much any equipment you would need, nothing too high end, but a good selection for such a small store. I just wish they weren’t so anal all the time.
Horrible experience. The owner was very rude to me when I came in trying to return an item that I had purchased.
I would advise visiting a different music store, one that cares about its customers.
