Excellent customer service. Gabby was great. Very knowledgeable and no pressure. She answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcomed. Definitely recommend Sam Ash.
MJ is the best!
Sam Ash has knowledgeable sales people that seem to genuinely care about their customers. There is a Guitar Center directly across the street from them that I will probably never go to again. When I walk into Guitar Center, I am virtually ignored by their unhelpful employees. By contrast, when I walk in to Sam Ash, I am immediately greeted by a friendly salesperson that wants to help me. This is how you conduct business. Good job, Sam Ash!

Went in to buy guitar on Thursday Thursday came back Saturday to purchase it had a price set with my sales person but since he was not in there that day they would not honor his price terrible customer service They just lost a customer that spends $10000 a year there

Good saleperson but when it comes to customer service very bad. Rude ob iPhone calls and no giving appreciation to the customer. For selling good but not for backup service. My guitar has been for almost two months and not been received a courtesy call. And when Icalled very rude people answeted. Bad customer service

This place was awesome. It brought back memories from the 80s when my brother had a punk rock band. I use to sit and listen to him pay his those where cool times. This store had awesome guitars

It’s the biggest Guitar Center I went to. Staff isn’t so friendly but, thinking about instruments, it’s a dream. Also, the store displays some memorabilia – including some Eddie Van Halen personal guitars.

Imagine having mark sale you a used amplifier that is used for in store demo that was scuffed up and came with missing parts and paying 900 bux ? Thats the price of something brand new that wasn’t . I guess I don’t blame people when they’re there just for the check at the end of pay roll . Smh
Asked if they had a part before I drive half an hour, guy on the phone refused to check.
Went to the store on Saturday. Took 45 minutes to get an associate to help me and I was purchasing $3000 worth of equipment.
The next day, I’m back to buy another piece. 30 minutes and 4 requests for an associate to come help, I left the store.
Today, I’m setting up the equipment and one of the stands was broken. Because it’s part of the hardware kit I bought, I can’t return the stand and get a new one. I need to return the whole kit.
I’m done with GC. I play guitar, drums and piano and buy from them often. I will drive further or pay more rather than deal with this kind of service.

We do audio servicing for many nightclubs and bars in the LA area and have used many repair shops throughout LA, this is the only one that I trust to get it done right. Yes it takes a bit longer and is slightly more expensive than several others, but is done correctly. In the long run you and your gear will thank you for it.
Use your gut feelings about places of commerce, and not someone’s rant of a personal experience. How dare someone post hate-like comments about a business and then tell others not to do business just because things didn’t go your way. My gut feelings were and have been great since QE was recommended by the guys @ GC for a piece of equipment that was out of warranty. My KorgM3 was fixed in a matter of days. The communication with owner Yoni (and his dog) were fabulous!! Emails and phone calls returned –EZ, done!! AND… I’ll be returning often for the used vinyl collection.

Would NOT recommend QE DJ Store for purchasing parts. The price of a discontinued HC-CA0101 is $44.95, as opposed to no more than $29.00 at normal retailer. When purchased for $29.00 at their DJParts site, they cancelled the order due to mispricing. When questioned , their staff had the audacity to claim they would be “losing money” if they sold it at the normal retail price, and that is not including the additional $35 QE is charging for shipping of a small parcel. It’s blatantly apparent that these guys are trying to milk the most our of their customers given their knowledge that this is a discontinued item. The fact that they claim that they would be “losing money” is just a new all time low. Absolutely unprofessional company, stay away and do not purchase from them.
Beware! This store belongs on hoarders and is a con. Went in looking for a specific power source and was told the one provided would work on my device. Sold it to me for $49.99. I questioned the lower Amps and was reassured the power source would work. Well, as I suspected…it didn’t. I still have the receipt and if they don’t take it back, it will solidify what a sham this place really is with their unprofessional recommendations that aren’t correct.

Got some drum sticks and a power supply for daisy chaining. Coming to the store is such a pleasure – I’m always looking for reasons to make the trip!
The associates are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
The staff is super cool and the selection of stuff they have is usually off the beaten path from what music stores typically offer. My only complaint is that they sometimes don’t have certain items in stock which can be easily found at Guitar Center next door.
The guys in-store were very helpful, but, unfortunately, the item I was looking for is no longer being manufactured (one of the associates even looked it up in the system).

horrible service. i’ve been here a couple times and the sales associates are extremely unfriendly.
Rude and incompetent employees. Specifically Ezequiel, Charlie, and Carlos. This shop was well run up until a couple years ago. New store manager Carlos is not good at his job. Twice they’ve messed up big orders and not taken responsibility. Zero apologies for their mistakes and wasted time. Avoid for serious purchases.
Went here to sell guitars, and was told if I didn’t sell both for the very low price they offered, then they would pass. Went right across the street to GC and was able to sell one for the same price they were offering for two.
Added one star because great customer service, and some nice guitars, but buyback/trade in program doesn’t even touch GC’s

The guy in the acustic guitar needs section needs To be fired ASAp, The girls at the drum section were very proactive , kind and helpful, and that’s why I give the place a 4 stars, bathroom needs to be clean more often .

There was man in the store he had his phone out and was recording my young daughter. He was also screaming outside about people following him. I cant belive they let people like that into the store

Loved the place! Went there to buy reeds and check for a new mouthpiece. Manny took my horn and made adjustment on the spot. He has a nice collection of saxes on the wall. I will go there again. 🙂

Saved my vintage acoustic twice! David is the best guitar repair guy ever. I can’t say enough good things about him. I’ve been taking instruments to him for over 10 years. He does amazing work, puts love into it, has a vast knowledge of guitar history, and is a really kind and genuine person.
Really unimpressed. Worked on my very expensive guitar, did poor work that was very obvious, and when I called him out on it, he insulted me. Won’t ever go again with my expensive stuff.
He is not really good fixing wood guitar my son paid $300 for Mikeymause fix…David neely have very good experience only for charge the money…..and he did the Mikeymause in one month ….#taylor
I will share my entire experience and will be respectful.
I went to Mr. Neely for an acoustic re glue bridge. When I got there Mr. Neely asked for a receipt of where I got it. So I gave all my information and was told I would be called after he got in touch with Zzounds wich is where I purchased my guitar. I waited 2 weeks until I decided to call because I didint hear from Mr. Neely, I ask for an update of my guitar. He said it be ready on the 3rd week. The 3rd 4th 5th and finally the 6th week came and he called me to tell me it was done. I would love to share a picture, honestly, for 6 weeks and for that quality I regret not doing it myself. Maybe I was one of the unlucky persons to have a bad experience here. My father and I own 3 dry cleaners and when we tell our custumer there clothes will be ready they are ready by the date they are told, and we do our best quality work. We dont give excuses on something we may have missed and try to keep our custumers happy to come back. Since I got there Sir I was polite and I’m being polite now. As a custumer I am really disappointed, I was exited to have my guitar done there because of the history in your shop, I guess not everyone gets the same treatment. Stay well Sir.

Scot is an amazing instructor. He put together a great lesson plan which fitted exactly what I needed and wanted to work on. His knowledge on music theory is perfect and he did the best job at demonstrating it with practical examples. I really feel like I’ve enhanced my skills!
My time with Scott has been awesome he’s patient and has given me tips and advice that cuts straight to the point and that’s helped me progress so much he’s an awesome teacher having had another teacher before and not really being able to get into the groove that wasn’t the problem here it’s a fun learning environment
Scott is not only insanely knowledgeable of his craft and how to verbalize and teach it to anyone, he’s also charismatic and down to earth which was a big factor for me. Very quickly I went from going to guitar lessons, to playing guitar with a friend. I would recommend him to anyone at any level in a heartbeat.
