Mike is the man and I’m glad I brought my guitar to him I called and spoke to a few local shops he was there number 1 choice and had the best turn around time. I now see why he did a awesome job we talked and went over exactly what I wanted and that’s exactly what I got and that is very rare these days I will only bring my guitars to him from now on

I came in looking for a guitar to learn on. Mike is stationed inside of Marion Music and although I didn’t buy anything yet, I will be bringing whatever guitar I end up buying to him for a set up and to show him. He was very informative on things I should look for in a guitar and explained to me the hardware involved in the sounds of a guitar, all while being very patient and kind. Very easy going! Will do business with Mike soon.

Redid the electronics and replaced the bone nut in my Fender Lead II. Has never sounded better. My only gripe is having to take the entire pickguard off to change the batteries when they die, so I think I’m gonna have to come back soon to change them.

The staff is so very knowledgeable and helpful. I never feel like my questions are silly. And they don’t add on costs where they aren’t needed!

Great place to get new instruments and new accessories for strings. Great experience and a great customer service. Have been going there ever since I started and will always continue to keep going here for anything string related. Would definitely recommend to people of all skill levels in any string instrument

Wonderful store! The employees are so nice and friendly. Bought a bow for my son and it was the wrong size.. they let me exchange for the correct size and even gave me a better one for the same price. Skip Amazon and go here! Keep stores like this in business!

I bought a viola from this company, ended up being too big for my daughter. Took it back they have a no refund policy and don’t let them fool you about the trade in policy. It was traded in for a viola that wasn’t even close to the original one I bought. The bridge on this viola broke within two months. They just traded it out again on another one and this
one doesn’t even have a quality sound to it. They are a horrible run
company. They could care less if their customers are happy with their
purchases. I would highly not recommend this to anyone.

Overpriced

I bought and rented quite a few instruments from Atlantic Strings over many years for my kids, even a piano way back when it also sold pianos. I happened to need something for myself today and was very disappointed. I asked if I could buy a bass bag, but return it the next day if it didnt work out. They said no and made me feel embarrassed and stupid for asking. Now I will buy the same case for 30 dollars cheaper on Amazon and never buy anything from Atlantic strings again. Way to lose a longtime customer!

I have not dealt with the music store sales staff as others leaving reviews; but rather I brought my guitar to Pat, the guitar luthier who does work for them. One of the most down to earth guitar techs I have ever had the pleasure of meeting with VERY reasonable prices! He replaced the stock pick ups in my coveted Paul Stanley mirrored iceman guitar with aftermarket Seymour Duncan’s as well as performed a set up with only a 3 day turn around time. Highly recommended whether one desires a simple set up or custom guitar work.

Super nice guys but when I tried to trade my mint esp 1000 deluxe with case and a marshall amp with a footswitch for a $512 takamine acoustic guitar they also told me they wanted 400 bucks. I get they are a business but didn’t know they were trying to straight up butcher me on the trade. On the phone the dude named Mike told Bruce that my ESP is selling for 700. Kinda wrong imo. Nice people though

This place is a rip off….cost me 60 dollars to have my 12 string worked on and when I got it home the electronics still didn’t work and when I complained about it all I got was a runaround. They wanted 150 dollars to replace the pre amp in the guitar and I told then no way. I went on ebay and bought the pre amp for $8.83 and it took me about an hour to fix it. Also the brand new strings they charged me for were all corroded. Beware of this place I will never ever do business with them again. Twice they have ripped me off.

Went in for an acoustic replacement part and the guy gave me a part for another guitar that was close but not right. Being an instrument shop, the guy should know what works and what doesn’t…or at least what to look for, for compatibility. It’s no big deal that I wasted the time and money…it’s the lack of knowledge from their part. I’m going to measure everything myself and order online, cheaper.

Also, come on, guys, every time I’ve gone in there (over 9 years) it’s always the same…dirty and dusty with a bunch of used unorganized crap everywhere. There are always people just sitting around and talking. I’m all for a cool hang out, but how about getting up off your butts and working your store a little. You have so much room and stuff, clear it out, clean it, and put it back in a better/improved way.

Lastly, your used acoustic guitars are miserable. I understand they’re used…but your prices are high and every guitar I looked at had major issue (cracks in the sound board or missing electronics with gaping holes).

Local shops are being killed by Amazon and the online retailers…you’re not helping to motivate us local musicains to support local shops. You could be the best in Brevard…but you need to do something and better yourselves.

Not much to offer

Most annoying place to buy anything. You will get harrased for your info. Then they sign you up for a “free” trial of a magazine that will then begin to charge you later. Would never shop here again.

Highway robber.

My boyfriend and I went to fye to buy some records. At checkout the employee asked if my boyfriend wanted to sign up for the magazine subscription and he said no. Somehow, some way the employee managed to sign him up without my boyfriend knowledge, my boyfriend did NOT sign anything because he used his debit card. He ended up receiving the magazines the mail. He had called the magazine subscription company to cancel his subscription. He was then CHARGED for the magazines after cancelling. Furthermore, don’t go to this fye because the employees clearly have no idea what the heck they are doing and sign you up for stupid magazines that you don’t even want.

These blocks have become my go to. I’ve just installed my 3rd block. All 3 guitars had very different natural tonal characteristics. As far as tonality these blocks seem to react differently with each guitar you install them in. They seem to pinpoint exactly where your guitar is lacking or overbearing and brings out the best in it. It’s almost unbelievable what these blocks will do for tone. Sustain is not lacking with these blocks either and they are very resonant. I as never really fond of the brass and was highly disappointed in titanium. I will be using Stone Tone in all my Floyd equipped guitars from this point on. See for yourself!

When I first tried the Stone Tone block I couldn’t believe how much difference it makes. Perfectly built, it adds sustain and harmonics to the guitar in a way I never heard from any other Floyd Rose block before. Even the feeling of the strings changes, it’s like if the strings pop and have some energy, some sort of life for themselves and you can feel it in your fingers. After you try this block you definitely can’t go back. This is definitely one must go upgrade for any Floyd Rose bridge.

My son has been going to SMS for almost 4 years, and I wouldn’t consider taking him anywhere else. I have been taking piano lessons through Spring Music Studio for about 3 months now. As a senior, I wasn’t sure how piano lessons would go, but Cindy has been the best, most patient instructor. My great-grandson has taken lessons for almost 4 years, and I hope to join him in a recital one day!

Long story short I signed my kids up for private 1:1 piano/voice lessons.
She changed it to a group class and raised the rate (which I didn’t register or agree to originally )
When I backed out today due to the price difference and class change she refused to refund me because I didn’t give 48 hours notice and blocked me.
Meanwhile she didn’t even tell me about the class or price change I found out online and had to message her about it.
I filed a dispute with the bank.

The manager at the Melbourne location gave us excellent service. He was professional and was willing to go the extra mike to give us quality service. Great job!!!

Service in the electronics area was exceptional. He explained everything to my father about his new tv.

Hard to find someone to help. Looking for something special and you can only can it on line. I am one to read the box and look at the product.

I went in for 2 things. One I was able to purchase there. The other I had to have shipped to my house. Which was no big deal cuz I didn’t have to pay for shipping and it arrived within a few days and I was alright with that. Only reason I didn’t give them a 5 out of 4 was I had to seriously look for help. At least 10 to 15 minutes. When I finally went up to someone who was busy (which I understand was helping someone else) I still waited awhile. They were friendly and helpful but not enough help on the floor. Cuz I wasn’t the only one looking for help.

The last several times I’ve been in there, they’ve not had what I was looking for. I made a special trip for an advertised item, only to find out it was a bait and switch. I left without anything.

Customer Service is AWFUL

Empty shelves. Out of stock on many items. Used to love shopping here. Gone are the days when an employee/employees actually knew the products and wanted to help you.

The store is clean and very well organized. Staff is customer friendly and very helpful. Love the fact that have a coffee shop on the store. However, the book selection in Spanish is very limited, compared to the Hispanic population in the area. But still a very recommended book store close to shopping and restaurants.

Don’t offer Veteran or student discounts. Books are all way cheaper on Amazon.

Called ahead, said they were going to get book for me. I waited in line for 10 min, then had to go find book myself. 20 min later couldn’t find book, had to have another person find it for me in the wrong place the original staff told me to find it. Frustrating!

This place is amazing ! Their customer service is Excellent and they even took the time to find a way to save me $40 on my son’s instrument.

Ordered an instrument, charged for instrument, after 2 weeks and multiple calls and sitting on hold for 45 mins was informed they have no idea when I would receive my instrument. And my refund will take 3-4 weeks.

You’d think when you’re paying $25 a month for a used plastic clarinet you’d at least get decent customer service. I was told that my clarinet, that had been damaged and sounded awful since the moment I opened it, was extremely damaged (obviously) and when she asked what I did to it I told her I had no idea as I’d barely played it and it was this way when I opened the case when I received it. She then told me “Think hard honey because all our instruments are shipped in perfect condition.” Clearly untrue. I will not be giving business to this company again. Very overpriced and rude.

As I’m reading through others reviews I see many people have had this same issue with the same woman I had an issue with. I hope the owner notices this and takes proper action.

First of all, they need to extend their store hours for 2 weeks during August when students are renting instruments. I went on a Saturday and the line was over an hour-long. Secondly, a week later, I tried to return a still sealed, unopened package of reeds to the store and was told they were non-returnable, even though their website specifically says, “The following items are returnable only if defective or unopened or unused: strings, reeds, tubes…” I’m going to ask my child’s band director to consider recommending a different local business for music needs next year.

So I have not bought a piano from this dealer, but I HAVE noticed that in looking at their reviews, every site I look at, share the same reviews, same exact text. It makes the reviews look like they are planted from the business. Where do I go to get a real review of this business?

Took Brian a week to get back to me with 1 sentence that said they were too busy to repair my piano. Happy to look for service elsewhere!

I end up buying my piano somewhere else because I just couldn’t get straight answers and responses from them.
Today he was also the second time they said they would call me back and didn’t. They’re close enough that I can walk to their store but they don’t seem to respect me so I don’t feel like shopping there.

Rob and Mackenzi at Florida Music Therapy have given my son a voice when he had no voice. They have given him an outlet to express himself and come into his own. I will forever rave about the work they do here. They are amazing and so loving. He looks forward to coming every single week

Excellent place

My son is autistic and sometimes it’s difficult for him to express his feelings or needs. Music therapy with Rose has been a Godsend! J is happier and more expressive. He looks forward to every weeks session and then runs straight to his keyboard or guitar at home to play the music he’s learned or is working on. Rose looks up the music he’s interested in and teaches him to play it! Sometimes they just “free” play music and it’s amazing!

I am constantly recommending Florida Music Therapy to others and will continue!

Great experience. I got my dream piano finally at a very reasonable price. I can talk about how friendly frank is and how he supports the customer. But let’s face it at the end of the day that’s the price that matters. I got an awesome deal and I was suspicious about it until now. It’s three months and I can tell the piano is just perfect.

Nice place. A lil on the pricey side. They have good, knowledgable sales people. My complaint deals with their service. Maybe it was just my luck, but I brought in an item to get serviced and was told I would get a call when it was done cuz it had to be sent out. I did not get a call. Later..2 days after I was told it would be done.. I went to pick it up. It was finished, but due to me being in a hurry, i didnt fully check out the item before I left the store. I got home and found some problems with what was supposed to be fixed. I was able to fix most of the issues myself.. I’d consider going elsewhere if you need something like a guitar setup done..

Four stars because the owner rectified this issue and as far as i know, subsequent customers did not have this problem anymore. Props to you for actually caring!

One star because piano instructor Suzanne is knowledgeable and good instructor overall, so she gets the star. Issue is the owner seems to have an issue in his vocabulary or he is very dishonest. He recently started forcing students to pay a “deposit” equivalent to 2 classes. His excuse, “if you dont show up to class, we use the deposit to pay for the instructor’s time;” however, the classes are PRE-PAID which means, that the class is already paid for. When i argued this with him, he said, “well, we actually use that deposit for two extra classes when you choose to quit.” Well, i already chose to quit, so first of all, why would i want two more classes? an entire month is always PRE-PAID too, so no need for “deposit” since classes have been PAID IN ADVANCE. When i signed up, i told them, i was using 4 classes my mother gifted me. They made her leave a 2 class deposit; even though, again, she had PRE-PAID for the four classes. I told them i was only there for the 4 classes. So when i went to my last class, the owner said, “I dont give back deposits, worse case i could give you store credit.” Hmmm… DEPOSIT??? a deposit is something that is given back subject to terms. In apartment, if nothing is broken at end of lease, deposit is given back, in a car rental if the car is not damaged, etc. He is forcing people to prepay every month, AND prepay two classes that they have to take when they no longer want to take classes. Completely dishonest, misleading and rude.

Hours on their website and on their store front say they are open until 8pm. Drove over and arrived there at 6:15pm and they were closed. No explanation why they were closed early. Holiday closing dates listed on the store front sign did not include this date. Wasted time. Should have called first.

There are many better reputable places to enroll your children for music lessons than this sordid place. Have to give at least one star to post this review!
The absolute worst customer service…More interested in making an extra few dollars now than in having a client for years.

I enrolled my six years old grandson in piano lessons…I paid 5 classes upfront (3 lessons + the 2 “security deposit”)…Unfortunately, the first lesson took place for the second lesson a week later; my grandson could not attend because several children in his classt tested covid positive…

And he had to be quarantined and tested; my daughter-in-law called the music store to let them know the very same day…The following week it was Monday, Labor Day…He did not attend either.

When I went last week to pay for the next month’s classes, I was told that my grandson would have no credit at all, covid or labor day did not matter and that the two weeks security deposit would not be credited either…I pulled my grandson out of the miserable place…

I should have known better when I checked the site the first time and saw the “music classes” that look like cells with no real piano to start with…You live, and you learn…

Workers are nice, but owner has interesting policies. My wife and I had been customers for years, but we recently purchased a used tascam recorder for $250 from this place. Took it home, tested it out and found some internal issues. Brought it back only to find out, NO REFUNDS. Lesson learned: BUY ALL MUSIC EQUIPMENT ONLINE. Even eBay has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This local store should have stood by its product. Instead, they lost a customer for life.
