Very friendly staff. Very helpful and nice people.
The staff at City Limits is very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the electronics they sell and they offer a variety of speakers, phones, movies, etc. They’re prices are affordable too. My overall experience was wonderful and I would definitely be shopping there again!
I love this place. They have everything a small electric store in the neighborhood needs. And the staff is so friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff, knowledgeable and everything I needed. I will definitely refer friends!
Beware to hide all your valuable items when you’re entering this store location or the little Plaza there is extremely populated gang affiliated personnel all over this place loitering in front of stores.
Kyle is the real deal! He’s overhauled 2 vintage Kings for me and they are some of the best horns I’ve played. He’s very passionate and knowledgeable about his work.
I’ve worked with a lot of different technicians but Kyle is my go to man. Whenever I send him a horn I know it’s in good hands.
Great repair tech! My tenor saxophone needed a multitude of adjustments, some requiring precision work. Kyle absolutely crushed it, and the horn plays better than ever. He is a saxophone player himself, and understands the complexities of the instrument. Best repair tech I’ve come across in Southern California. He has a full-fledged mobile repair service, and will drive to you. Overall, excellent service, and terrific work!
You can’t go wrong with Kyle at Instru-Mend. About 6 months ago, I decided to learn to play the Saxophone. I bought a1940 Buescher Big B alto sax for about $500. It was t in decent shape, but it did need repairs.
Initially, I took my horn to a local, highly-rated shop in San Diego to get her playable. My experience was good, but it took three weeks to get just the neck cork replaced and a few keys fixed.
The work they did was good and the staff was nice. But they told me the sax needed a complete overhaul. The guy suggested I just buy a new horn. His didn’t seem very enthusiastic about vintage instruments. Also, he told me if I did want to repair the horn, it would take three months.
So, I called around and got the same story from multiple repair shops. After that I bought two, new student horns and tried them both. Neither sounded as good as my Big B.
Finally, I called a local music shop and they referred me to Kyle. When I spoke with Kyle, I instantly knew he was the right guy to repair my sax. Kyle is very personable. He was familiar with my horn and his enthusiasm for repairing vintage horns was contagious. I was so impressed with Kyle, I drove 1.5 hours to his shop to bring him my horn for repairs.
Kyle evaluated my horn, showed me what it needed, and gave me a reasonable price. Even better, he said he could have the work done in two weeks.
Kyle answered all my questions, was patient when I changed my mind about a few details, and fixed my sax in the time promised.
Then, he sent me a video of him playing my horn when it was finished. It sounded incredible. He made her good as new!
Kyle also threw in a free lesson, and I learned more in the first lesson than I learned in 6 months of trying to teach myself to play.
If you need an instrument repaired or want to take lessons, Kyle ticks all the boxes!
Very reasonable pricing, excellent teachers who take pride in their students success. Everyone wears mask and plenty of hand sanitizers available. Their customer service is an example for all small businesses out there.
My son took piano classes here; and the staff was super friendly
I love this academy! Is giving me an opportunity to learn music in a peaceful, kind environment with good teachers and great attention.
I recommend this place for you and your kids!
La atención es muy buena.y el perdonal es exelente…

Called and they had what i needed. Will shop here more often.
Adam’s Music is a Los Angeles gem.
I’ve been teaching there for over 20 years and have always found it to be a warm and friendly place for students to learn and teachers to teach.
It’s also a less intimidating place for students to learn when they see and hear other students playing and practicing in the adjacent rooms.
If your kids want to learn an instrument, you’ve always wanted to pick one up or you just want brush up on your favorite licks, I highly recommend Adam’s!
Perfect service and fair prices. It’s the only shop I will bring my instrument to.
Rented a banjo here for a week, great prices and it was an easy process. The customer service was fine, but no one went out of their way to make it an exceptional experience. I would go back, though.
I rented a bass guitar for one month, everything went fine. Prices are average and service is good. I definitely would recommend it.
Depending how, when or who you contact to, you got a different pricing for the same item. I needed my violin restrung with Dominant strings and was quoted over the phone by staff-G for $65 including installation. Two days later in that weekend, I was asked in the store by staff-R to pay $92 for the same job. If I really paid the latter and I didn’t in fact, just kept me wondering why the pricing was so much different. However, the staff In general are kind, knowledgeable and skillful. No trace of racism was found as quoted by the previous customer.

My family is so lucky to have found such a patient , loving , kind and wise teacher . Ted seems to intuitively know and tailor the lessons for our kids needs . My child went from being extremely nervous to performing in an audience in a matter of weeks. We will always be grateful for Ted’s extraordinary ability to bring out the best in our children .
Cant wait to work there soon

Very professional and helpful staff. Great selection of string instruments! They are prompt and attentive. The variety of the instruments is great and the service is just spectacular! I don’t think 5 stars do them justice
A+
Easy to get instrument repair!!
Looks like a lot of changes in the store. For Good.
Very good service. One lady did string a violin wrong once, which is what dropped the star, but other than that no issues. They quickly fixed that issue, by the way, to no additional cost.
Good supply ,needs more pop and jazz sheet music, not enough brass supplies
I will never shop there again. This morning 12/26/18, I went to the store hoping to buy a new cello case. I entered the store and walked to the back of the store to look around. Not one worker even tried to assist me. After looking at the cello cases, I walked toward the front of the store to look at different violin/cello method books because I play and teach both instruments. During that time, a few customers walked in and the workers quickly greeted and assisted them. This is about the third time this has happened to me. I will never shop there or refer any of my students to shop there. I will just have to purchase their supplies elsewhere and have my students purchase the products from me. I will also go online and purchase my cello case elsewhere. That’s too bad because they really do ha e nice, quality products.
I don’t know what to say about this place but it’s been one of the worst places I’ve ever been to and the prices are very high plus they treat you very rude
More’s music store doesn’t sell saxophone mutes and they probably don’t even know what a saxophone mute is so they should probably search up saxophone mute on the internet (bad service).

Friendly staff. Having a powered mixer fixed. Recomended by a good friend for repair.
Helpful
They fix instruments and they have Drum lessons. Don’t know much about this place but the times I’ve gone it’s been good. They fix my daughters violin from time to time and give you advice on how to keep your instrument in good condition.
Really fast and efficient service
We have always found the staff friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Bellflower Music.
I rented a pretty old tenor sax from Bellflower Music back in August for my daughter, who started on a HS marching band. I signed an agreement, purchased insurance and pre-paid for 3 months. Yesterday, I went to return the sax as the director of music and the sectional leader all complained about the sax that is out of tune and the buttons are not working. In my defense I didnt want to purchase an instrument right of the bet because I wanted to see if my daughter continues to show interest and if she is committed to marching band. As the rental was coming to an expiration on the 19th of October it was time to return the instrument back to Bellflower and purchase a good working sax. We found an excellent but used Chateau at Long Beach Woodwinds and they helped us there compare between different saxes by trying them out. The feel, the tone, the buttons…no comparison to the Conn we rented from Bellflower. I understand you rent out instruments to many people, but take the time to make adjustments and test them before renting them out. I was surprised that no testing was done when we rented the sax but when I returned it yesterday they were testing everything. No comments were done on the contract when we rented the sax in regards to the condition but they put replacement cost for the sax equal to a brand new one. In addition, they now wanted me to return a strap that they never gave us. The guy insisted the sax had a strap but we neither got one, neither the accessories issued were noted on the contract. However, he told me I can come back another day and discuss with the manager. There was no way I was going to drive 1 hour round trip to discuss a missing strap and get charged for another month of rental. He refused to accept the rental back without me paying for a strap. I saw the bin with the straps and it says $5 for a generic strap I said here let me pay you for a strap and get out. He pulls a brand new Yamaha strap and demands I pay for a brand new branded strap. Let me reephasize… no strap was given to us, it is an used instrument…heavily used…with no list detailing accessories on the contract, with an insurance purchased for missing and broken parts…and now I was expected to pay for a brand new Yamaha strap, not the generic kind. I told him I am not paying for a brand new Yamaha strap to which he again said he wont take the rental back. He ended up giving me a discount on the Yamaha strap so we can close out the issue. Bottom line for me, as far as their instrument rental services go, is do not rent from Bellflower. Go to a place that lets you test the instruments, provides a guidance on what you need, especially as a beginner, and do not give you some super old untested instrument and then demand you pay for an accessory that they never gave you. I am not for $5 but for the whole service which seems to be concentrated on renting out malfunctioning and not tested instruments and then skimming more money by trying to say something is missing or broken. The guy was testing the instrument for so long trying to find something but as soon as I mentioned that we have insurance I kid you not he said “no, everyting is fine”. Thank God I purchased that insurance. I am so confident if I didnt he would have found millions of things wrong with the instrument, an old, beat up and u tested instrument….

Fantastic studio, the room has a natural sound that musicians love. I highly recommend it, the engineers are great and equipment is state of the art. Book sessions with plenty of time in advance, they are always busy.

20. Candelas Guitars

Took my Guitarron in to have the action lowered. They did a great job and got it back to me sooner than I expected. I am very pleased. Excellent work and customer service. Glad I came here.
We just bought our first violin there, I saw many pics of artist that they get their instruments there! We are looking forward to buy our 2nd violin
I just had the inductor switched on my wah by Eli at Guitar Center’s repair center and let me just say that it’s a brand new wah. Great work, excellent communication, and will work with you if you need a repair or mod in a hurry.
The directions to Candelas Guitar on Ceasar Chavez in ELA was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, TAKING THE FREEWAY LITERALLY TOOK YOU THE LONNNG/WRONG WAY .. THE BEST WAY TO GO WAS AND IS TO TAKE THE STREETS…
The guitar instructor Kenneth is very helpful and friendly, and he is also knowledgeable about a variety of guitar techniques. His teaching style can fit the need for adult/recreational learners.
Terrible service. Needs to work on their customer service skills. I do not recommend.
