You will never hear a better amp. It is quite simply a musical instrument on its own and a guitar through it is like celestial bells of heaven. Sound so incredible. I knew the moment I plugged in – it was something special. Articulate and powerful. Like nothing else on the planet.

Address: 10831 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064 , Westwood , California , United States
El servicio al cliente muy profesional…muy amable y trato muy cordial…no como en las otras tiendas sobre todo la de hollywood…aqui todo excelente
Selection and service isn’t as great as the other Guitar Centers I’ve been to but it’s alright. To get anything done it takes a while. There’s usually a wait and it’s usually not properly staffed. For example, I came in to get some guitar picks and get a quote on a guitar and that took maybe an hour and a half. The staff member wouldn’t even print me the quote on the guitar which is terrible. If you won’t stand by a quote, then I assume the quote isn’t very well. Sweetwater it is next time!
The staff here is very friendly. I like the convenience of ordering on line and having the gear delivered to the store (for safety against porch pirates).
Looking for a bass cable, ok
No entrance but to walk up the parking garage ramp. Signs about overcharging n every entrance. Didn’t have what I needed. Store is a maze that is difficult to navigate… on and on and on the problems arise.
WARNING. Buy your guitar from McCabe’s or Westwood Music. I bought a $2,ooo Martin guitar at this GC, and the 3 yr warranty, a year and a half ago.The finish started bubbling up on the guitar face recently .When I took it tback to Guitar Center to fix it, they sent me on a wild goose chase to do-it-yourself with the factory. Just Horrible customer service when it comes time for service under their warranty. A Worthless GC Warranty for $150 which they do not honor. DO NOT buy a guitar here ! They DO NOT stand by there guitars or their warranty, and act annoyed when it comes time to fix it. Imagine, if the paint job bubbles on your new car and the dealer sends you to the factory in Germany while it’s under warranty, which is what GC did. The saleman couldn’t care less and gave me the 800 # to call Martin and do it yourself. My Audi dealer wouldn’t send me to Germany and tell me it drives ok, when there is clearly a defective paint job. Nothing but a lot of excuses and NO CUSTOMER service. Save yourself a lot of trouble, and buy your guitar anywhere else but here.I wish I did.
I came in just to get a pack of strings and waited 20 minutes for someone to help me, another 10 for the guy running the register to figure out how to ring up the customers in front of me, and then another 5 while he tried ringing me up on a machine that was broken. I left with no strings as I’m confident that shipping on Amazon will be faster than service here.

Phil’s a great teacher… I’ve never had a singing class / lesson/ direction in my life and he made it easy and very comfortable to learn. Very approachable and flexible to student needs and skill levels.
Phil is top notch. I always enjoyed working with him musically and highly recommend getting to know him better. He is simply “good peeps”
Highly recommended! My wife, son, and me were all taking lessons from Phil. Different kind of lessons. Mostly vocals, but also guitar and kids piano. Phil can do it all. He helped me increase my vocal range .
Very professional and attent to your business very quickly
Great family-owned music store.
Great service. Great teachers.
I rented a bass guitar for one month, everything went fine. Prices are average and service is good. I definitely would recommend it.
Depending how, when or who you contact to, you got a different pricing for the same item. I needed my violin restrung with Dominant strings and was quoted over the phone by staff-G for $65 including installation. Two days later in that weekend, I was asked in the store by staff-R to pay $92 for the same job. If I really paid the latter and I didn’t in fact, just kept me wondering why the pricing was so much different. However, the staff In general are kind, knowledgeable and skillful. No trace of racism was found as quoted by the previous customer.
A band geek’s paradise!

Best MGMT. If you did not see Irving or any other of your favorite executives it’s probably just cause they are hella busy making those careers for the talent happen. 🙂 Good job.
Knowledgable experts work here on the most successful music and entertainment careers. Would always recommend.
didn’t see irving azoff… bad day

Great teachers! My son just started last week and is looking foward for their winter recital!
I love studying voice with Aoife! Angeles Academy of Music is a fantastic choice for musicians of all ages!
Have been so happy with my progress in the violin over just a month or two! Picked it up for the first time as an adult and it’s been going great! 10/10 recommend if youre an adult looking to pick up a new hobby 🙂
My older one has been with the school for 4 years. We have problem with how the principal runs the school but we love our teacher so we stayed.. My younger two just started the school a couple of months ago and we already switched instructor once. They are not teaching the kids systematically and seems to pay no effort to prepare the classes. They focus on blasting through the books and not really teach how to learn and enjoy the music. When I give the feedback to the principal, rather than work with us to make it better, he just said “he trust the teachers opinion”. The school has changed so much over the years. They focus on filling the teachers schedules and making more money. Very disappointing!!!
We currently have two 7-yeard old students and one 10-year old student at the Angeles Academy of Music. Our oldest has attended for about 4 years, and our youngest for just a few months. Our oldest son has had the same fantastic teacher since he started, and that has compensated for the egocentric nature of the school’s owner.
However, our two younger children have really experienced the deleterious effects of the poor management and the lack of professionalism from the owner. The problems have only become more acute with the need for this school to constantly bring in more students to pay for their presumably high rent (albeit uncomfortably cramped rooms). This has resulted in a marked decrease in the quality of the teachers.
The first instructor for our 7-year olds seemed to have never taught young kids and was not familiar with the Faber Piano series. Even as a parent, it was awkward to sit in the room while the teacher tried to figure out what was next, and as a result the teacher spent a good portion of the 30 minute class having the kids play an iPad game. We were then assigned another inexperienced teacher who seemed much more interested in our kids rushing through the books rather than actually learning to play piano.
Their teacher showed a demonstrable lack of judgment in selecting a song for an upcoming recital. With the recital only a month away, and our 7-year old kids just starting book 1, we expected a rather simple song. The key for a first recital is a positive and encouraging experience for the kids. But instead, we got a difficult and completely inappropriate song for kids that have only just started. The song involved sharps (something they have not yet seen), eighth notes (something they have not yet seen), and complex cords (something they have not yet seen). The inappropriateness of the song was undeniable (even our 10 year old said “wow, this is hard.”)
We reached out to the owner of the school to sort this out, but he just couldn’t get past his egocentric world view. Rather than simply address the immediate problem of an inappropriate song and the fundamental problem of the teacher’s lack of experience, he decided to shower the praise on the teacher and enumerate his own credentials.

I am super grateful for my training with Hubie. He takes my own personal goals into consideration and tailors his teaching style fit. I am expanding my skills and knowledge exponentially.
Thanks Hubie!
Everything about Red Pelican is the real deal. Brian (owner) is a gem and clearly understands customer service. His responses are always personal and very prompt. My 10 year old son has been taking piano/voice lessons with Anthony for well over a year and we have loved every minute. He is always punctual, professional, prepared, flexible and sweet! We are looking forward to starting our other son with guitar lessons and have no doubt that the experience with be nothing less than spectacular. Bravo to Red Pelican.
Working with Red Pelican Music overall has been easy, and the owner Brian provides amazing customer support and is always in contact to make sure lessons are going smoothly. I started taking voice lessons with their teacher Caitlin and have been making strong, steady progress with every lesson. Caitlin always has such a bright personality, is encouraging, and is not afraid to challenge students to help them strengthen their voices. She really works to identify what areas need improvement to help students become well-rounded singers and I highly recommend her as a teacher!
Been taking lessons from jhon for the last 4 months – he’s great! Just started playing guitar and I’ve learned so much. And most important-he’s made learning and playing guitar FUN! Highly recommended.
