Not a thrift store . Not good for resellers. Collectors store with mostly antique and breakable stuff.

3. Dollar General
Address: 1920 CA-65, Wheatland, CA 95692 , Wheatland , California , United States
Absolutely love the staff that works there…great bunch of people…super nice and just polite…i am in there almost twice a week for smokes or cat food and whoever works is always nice not necessarily overly crazy nice but just make you feel comfortable and they always know where everything is…even weird things that are not items that sell daily…the store is always clean, smells nice and despite being next to a railroad pretty quiet…parking is nice lots of spaces…pretty much can find whatever you need in here cheaper than anywhere else in this locale
Love the store
Nice, clean and friendly employees!
It’s cheesey
Was there for a certain stationar product and couldn’t find it or close to what I needed But did have so many other things I couldn’t name even a quarter of them! Shop Dollar General! You will be surprised at what they do have!
Friendly people,fair price
Always long lines never enough help.
This store will not let the public use their restrooms. I go by there regularly on my way to Marysville. For this reason I will never buy anything in their store. I have let them know this and now I have let you know this as well. It’s a mean practice to the customerperiod for that they don’t deserve my business. Best wishes
How can specials be so confusing?
4. Toyota Amphitheatre
Address: 95692, 2677 Forty Mile Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692 , Wheatland , California , United States
Large areas , venues, and more. Grate time at the concerts, no shade
Saw my ex here. Not fun
Love it! Great seats, awesome sounds. Would go again!!
Great bands in the middle of nowhere
Great venue, staff need training
I was going to see the Doobie Brothers in concert tonight it was going to be great. .. but alas it did not workout that way. We left to go to the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland. We arrived an hour before the concert knowing that parking was going to be bad. Little did we know we would sit in traffic to park for 2 hours and still have a half hour more to wait to park. The band I was doing to see in concert had started playing and was halfway through their set when we saw that even after the additional half hour ahead to park we would have to wait in line at the door at least another half hour completely missing the show I wanted to see. Let just say we left very disappointed. As for the venue your teenaged parking attendants are clueless and incompetent this establishment is a joke and I will never go there again. To any bands wanting to play there your audience will hear you from the drive in and miss your show completely. Heed my warning it is not worth it.
Horrible traffic. Roads need to be widened
Since the change from Sleeptrain to Toyota, no credit cards to buy drinks, took away allot of drinks , ie cider, red bull, to name a few!! I’ve been going to this amphitheater for years it had seems like it’s going down hill fast … bummer never
5. Stinemans Farm Supply
Address: 4505 Wheatland Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692 , Wheatland , California , United States
Great little hardware shop! Has a good selection, competitive prices, helpful and friendly staff.
Great
If you are tired of the big box junk stores this is your new source!
awesome knowledge and variety
Great place to store your things.
Great convenience to have in Wheatland
Very rude
Came in today as a first time customer looking to purchase some chainsaw files. I asked the lady at the counter where their chainsaw isle was and was immediately followed by the older male employee with a white beard who sat behind me staring/not saying a word as I was looking at the chainsaw files which made me feel uncomfortable. I believe he was more concerned about theft of items then he was about helping me locate the right files. When it comes to purchasing my Stihl products I’ll be definitely giving Stineman’s a pass.
Today was a bad day for the workers! I heard the F word from them more today than I heard it in a month or two! Good thing my wife and son were not with me. Very disappointed today with them.
6. Yuba City Music Store
Address: 1527 Starr Dr, Yuba City, CA 95993 , Wheatland , California , United States
Great store, good chat with the owner, check it when you are next in town.
Fantastic teacher. I’m learning a lot and very quickly. The lessons are very well priced aswell!
Eric the owner knows everything about guitars! He also offers great lessons and lots of unique instruments. We have purchased at least five guitars and my husband takes lessons from him. His prices are also very fair.
My son was in need of a flute for junior high band. They had a great price on a used one and were very knowledgeable. Thank you!
Zaful
Not much of a selection,,a lot of really low end pieced together mutt guitars and amps.
Tried very hard to engage counter man in conversation,,but he just preferred to sit quietly while I looked over tiny inventory…..guess I will keep looking for a music store.
7. The Music Store
Address: 4815 Granite Dr, Rocklin, CA 95677 , Wheatland , California , United States
Has amazing lessons from really nice and good teachers. Also sells a variety of instruments
I rented a sax that i can’t afford anymore, but my experience was good. They have a nice rent to buy program that I want to take advantage of in the future, and the voice lessons are something I’ve always wanted to invest in and learn.
Dalton was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and guided us well about our child’s trumpet. In general, we love the reasonable instrument rental cost and quality of the instruments.
Will recommend the store to others.
Friendly staff and very helpful.
I rented a used violin for my son from the shop. They said the price was $199. The rental was $35 per month. after two months if you want to own the violin then they said they would deduct the rental amount from the original price. But when we want to buy the used violin they said the price is $299 which is hell more than a new violin. So would recommend not to rent or buy anything from this store.
8. Hard Rock Live
Address: 3317 Forty Mile Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692 , Wheatland , California , United States

Great venue for small concerts and live performances. Plenty of leg room.
Very nice Casino and the cafe or restaurant is good as well. Service was good just need to teach server how to apply discounts from Casino rewards cards…
Esta muy Bonito el Casino

ME LA PASE MUY bien Me Diverti Mucjo .
Y buen lugar para los conciertos lo recomiendo
It’s fun.
The bands were not with songs
Slow tempo
Everything was off and for the money it sure was a bummer
Was there for several hours and even though I ask over 20 times for a drink I never recieved a drink
Hard Rock, please let the people know if their ID is expired, they won’t get any of the rewards they could get. Oh, except that you will accept their money no matter if ID is expired or not. Thank you to the guy in the promotions front desk for let me know that before still spending more money here.
9. Pete’s Music Center
Address: 425 Teegarden Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991 , Wheatland , California , United States
Very nice guy Pete is. Took my fender deluxe amplifier in for repair and needed a set of guitar strings. He trusted me to pay for the strings when I picked up my amp. When I picked up my amp I reminded him that I owed for the strings along with the amp repair. Then thanked me for reminding him and charged me $2 dollars less than what he had quoted me for the strings. Very good business manors! Thanks Pete!
MANY specific needs met as well as the necessities of abstract desires…
Good great gucci
Pete is a great pro sound resource, this place takes care of so many teachers and students for instruments and support materials. Again the hours are cutback due to lack of help.
Not bad
Have to save our dollars to get an actual repair done on our school instrument … One day …
Didnt like it
Pete was extremely rude. Poor customer service.
Better prices, better return policy, and better customer service from Amazon. Bought the floor model of a keyboard (with no discount) and they refused to issue a refund the next day even though our kids couldn’t play it because the keys are too heavy. They only offered a $100 discount because it was the used floor model after 15 minutes of “discussion”. All Sales Final. Period. So now our family stuck with a keyboard we can’t use. Very unhappy and unsatisfied customers!
10. Red Hill Saloon
Address: 4721 Wheatland Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692 , Wheatland , California , United States
Bill McCollum, the owner, is very nice & friendly. It’s been cleaned up nicely in the interior with a Pool Table, Outdoor smoking area, and tables to eat at as well.
The bar staff are friendly, it’s quaint & cozy inside, and nice & cool.
Fun place to hang out at
Great place to hide out! Beer is ice cream headache cold!
Chill place mellow crowd
Nice lil hole in the wall to wet your whistle
Just had a awesome day with family and friends, we were all on a memorial ride today for our beloved brother and friend and his son, suny…..(Chris and Suny) one of the stops was this great little place in Wheatland, awesome people n libations, highly recommended it
11. The Musical Touch
Address: 950 Lincoln Rd, Yuba City, CA 95991 , Wheatland , California , United States
The lady who operates the shop is really wonderful. Expect a conversation. You might not be able to rely on the listed hours of operation (11-6 weekdays). They sometimes open later, like 1pm.
Very educated on all aspects of music, friendly
Great music store with lots of stuff to choose from. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend this place.
The inside of the building is really fashioned with music, but the outside has only spot for 8 cars to park in the parking spot.
Tried coming to the place multiple times for multiple days and it seems like the place is closed more then it is open.
12. El Dorado Hills Music, LLC
Address: 873 Embarcadero Dr Suite 1, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 , Wheatland , California , United States
The owner takes great pride in the shop. It’s long been regarded in the community to produce great musicians. My son absolutely loves taking piano lessons there. I highly recommend it!!
Good staff, nice atmosphere… enjoyed my conversation with everyone in the store. 🙂
Great place for all your music needs. The owner even helped us out when we weren’t buying anything from them.
Their music selection was a bit small but they had everything I needed at a very reasonable cost.
Did not have a kazoo
The line was crazy long and they were extremely under staffed.
13. The Strum Shop
Address: 209 Vernon St, Roseville, CA 95678 , Wheatland , California , United States
Love the Strum. Easy to talk with, personable folks. Lots of free events. Free beginners programs. And well priced lessons for every individual and instruments. Professional instrument instruction. And good solid repairs. And of course ULULELES. Lots and lots of ukuleles and other fine string instruments. Highly recommended.
Cool shop for all your strumming needs!
It have discount mercendise too .
Cool
I brought a guitar to adjust the action. Dan did not place the parts I asked for saying he did not have it on stock. Inaccurate repair job with replacing the guitar nut. Honestly I could adjust my guitar better than this “professional repair master” “Doctor” Dan. Waisted $80. Very unsatisfied. I would not recommend any repairs in this shop/store.
They lost my instrument and won’t return my calls. I brought an instrument in for repairs, they gave to their vendor, I talked with the vendor and he said it would be done in two weeks. After a month with no word I started calling, and they have ignored all messages I’ve left.
Went in and there was a class going on with 20+ people crammed into a tiny space, not one of them wearing a mask. Only one other person in the entire store had one on, none of the staff. Fully 1/3rd of Sac Co. is completely unvaccinated. I’m immune compromised [along with some 7,000,000 other American citizens] & disabled. The ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM of decency and community protection is apparently an outrageous expectation. They also had some absurd overpricing. I vastly prefer non-corporate local stores, but they can F right off if they’re not going to do even the simplest, most pitifully minor actions to do their part in not further spreading a wildly uncontrolled global pandemic that has killed nearly a million U.S. humans, and is far from over. Still averaging a quarter million cases a day, and over 2,000 deaths [more than any time since last winter, still]. They don’t even REQUEST that people wear some kind of face covering. Reprehensible madness, and unless this changes I will not support or recommend them to my musician friends. Please be better, nobody should be forced to exclude themselves from society JUST because of laziness or ignorance and non-measures that throw disabled folks under the bus.
