Ms. Marcy is awesome with the children. In only 5 months they could play 3 short versions of Christmas without needing their notes in front of them I highly recommend her services for piano lessons.
Ms.Marlayna is such an amazing piano instructor. My daughter has had a really great time learning from her. She is very patient with the children and affirms them alot. My oldest came here for lessons and we purchased an intermediate trumpet back in 2019 that we were very happy with. Fast forward to 2022-23. First we bought a Yamaha intermediate trombone but the mouth piece was missing so they gave us a replacement “in kind”. This fall he dropped it on the ground and ovaled the shaft. This is where the fun begins. I drive the 30 min to the store and ask for a replacement, but they can’t find the sale in their system. I remembered the issue with the missing mouthpiece and the replacement. Unfortunately the clerk couldn’t get the internet to work to verify the size and sold us the large shank. Wrong! So now I have to spend another hour there and back just to return it. Amazon was more helpful but a search revealed that the “in kind” replacement from a year ago was a cheap version and the wrong size. They got me twice. Thankfully this is the last kid so I won’t have to go there again.
They keep charging me after I made the payment over a month ago by phone. Their main office doesn’t communicate efficiently with their stores and vice versa. They claim they can’t see a transaction history of my payment even though it’s RIGHT on my bank account and cleared. I offered to bring a copy of my bank statement and they always say they’ll follow up and don’t. It is incredibly annoying and frustrating to have to deal with something so menial in such a poor manner. They keep sending me collection letters for something I PAID! If this hits my credit because they can’t communicate effectively I will be sure to make a HUGE deal.
This low rating is not a reflection of the Kirkwood Highway store personnel but rather Music & Arts Corporate and their “customer service”. We have been a customer of the store for years including lessons, instrument purchases and instrument service and repair. Everyone we’ve ever dealt with IN THE STORE has been lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. At the beginning of the summer we signed up for weekly lessons for half of June plus July and August in preparation for marching band season. I cancelled, in store, (on August 13th)our weekly lesson effective end of August and specifically requested that the auto debit be cancelled effective immediately as we had already paid for August. In spite of that we were charged for lessons for the month of September. I called the store immediately and was told they had cancelled the lessons on their end but were experiencing issues with a new company-wide system. They put through a request for a refund that day. After a week I called the store again and told them the money had not been refunded. They assured me it had been reported to corporate and that was all they could do from their end. Today I called the corporate number and experienced the worst possible customer service. The woman was cranky and short with me right off the bat and would only tell me that a refund would take 4 weeks. When I asked why she said, “that’s our policy”. She had not bothered to ask my name, my location or any dates. When I requested confirmation that the refund was in process she reluctantly took my information and treated me like I had interrupted her lunch break. And then, she told me she couldn’t tell me anything, had no idea if my refund request had been made, told me to wait 4 weeks and call back. When I said that wasn’t a good enough answer she told me I’d have to call the store. So, total waste of time, including the 15 minute wait on hold. I did call the store back and though they were apologetic they could not do much as they have no control over the refund process. Kevin, the store manager, took all my info again and said he would email the lesson coordinator and his district manager and would let me know if he had any further information. I understand this has happened to a number of customers which is outrageous. In this day and age how can a large corporation not be able to timely cancel an auto deduction or at least have a system to log refund requests and be able to tell you if the request has been received? Further, why the hell would it take 4 weeks to refund my money? Absolutely unacceptable. I can’t imagine we would deal with Music & Arts again and certainly would not recommend the company which is a shame because the employees and teachers are great. Seriously, who wants to deal with illegitimate automatic deductions from your bank account???For that matter who wants to loan M & A’s $150. (interest free) for a month at a time??? Imagine if you had 2 or 3 students and were out $300-400 for that amount of time?!? Ridiculous!
DO NOT USE THIS AWFUL COMPANY!!!! If I could give this business 0 stars I would. I have never used this company before, and decided I would due to them being a close location to my house and them stating they had the product I wanted in stock, which was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I paid extra for shipping and was told the product would arrive to my house in two days. The product never came so I called and they told me it would arrive Christmas Eve. It never arrived on Christmas Eve, so I called again, suddenly it isn’t available until January 19th.
THIS COMPANY CHARGED ME TWICE FOR THE SAME PRODUCT AT THIS POINT !!! I have spoken to multiple people, sent proof of the double charge, and they are refusing to refund the second charge! This company is a disgrace. I would HIGHLY recommend using ANY other company.

The staff at Accent Music on 202 has little concern with customers needs. I was given every excuse in the book why my item was not ordered from the manufacturer when I could have ordered it myself and gotten it days ago. No tracking #? No ETA? No resemblance of customer service. I’m sure they like to sell things but just not to me.
Called up with interest of purchasing a 3K-4K guitar they had online. Was willing to buy immediately. They were rude, short, and unorganized and actually acted like they didn’t have time to discuss it). I’m glad I didn’t purchase or move forward. You would think if someone was in the business of selling guitars for a living that a purchase “that large” would take priority over …I don’t know, selling $10 Ernie Ball Strings? or music CD’s.
Claimed they were ESP vendor, yet weren’t on the approved list (this info is available on ESP’s site). Wouldn’t send images of guitar close ups either (as opposed to hard to see online thumbnail). Red flags all point to some questionable practices going on here. Would recommend buyers to look elsewhere, and not take a chance with your $ here – too many fakes online, and sketchy practices – lots of legitimate guitar buying systems online as alternatives. Just because a seller has a web page, doesn’t mean that the purchase is legit . If you are checking reviews before purchase, then I am saving you time, money, and hassle – nothing to see here – move on!

This is my favorite Guitar Center. It seems smaller and maybe doesn’t have quite the selection of say, the Plymouth Meeting location, but the staff at the Wilmington store is just all around better. Which isn’t to say the selection is unsatisfactory by any means. It’s just a smaller store so they don’t have quite as much, but they still have ample selection.
The real difference for me is the staff. The staff at the Wilmington location are friendly and helpful without being pushy or coming across as “cheesy”. They also know their stuff.
Another boon is that there is no sales tax in Wilmington, so for big-ticket items, it may be worth the extra travel time.
This place is always clean, and well stocked. The only small “complaint” I have is that sometimes not all displays are functioning.
Guitar center is an EMPORIUM of music gear.
I could spend many hours walking around playing with the different products they have on display, and leave feeling completely satisfied, having purchased nothing.

Selection is large and they let you play any guitars. I was there for two hours looking to buy an electric guitar. I had a bunch of questions. Despite multiple entreaties, i was unable to get any time from anyone who worked there (at one point, I stood for 15 minutes waiting for a rep who was just chatting with a friend). I finally left without a guitar. Extremely disappointed. No customer service whatsoever. Will not purchase a guitar from that store.
Terrible service. I understand people don’t want sales people chasing you down to pressure you into buying, but at least greet me. And if I’m standing at a counter with a product in my hand, it’s pretty likely I want to buy, or at least have a question.
Bought a set of drum mics. Out of 7 of these, only two of them worked. The description said the condition was “very good”
Now I have to go through a bunch of return/exchanging to get what I should have gotten in the first place. Super annoying. Someone should be testing these to make sure they actually work before selling them.

Date of performance 06-19-21: One month prior to our wedding date, we contacted Adeline on Gig Salad to perform the ceremony music for our Wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Adeline and her performance!! Throughout the planning processes, she was prompt to respond to all of my inquiries and met with us over zoom since my husband and I were novices to hiring a musician for an event like this. Not only did Adeline bring ideas to the table but she was also open to learning a new song from the recessional piece of our wedding (“Sign, sealed & delivered” by Stevie Wonder). Adeline definitely added that extra element to our wedding to make it truly magical!

I went to backup studios and got nothing but good vibes. The Engineer was very attentive and gave helpful input during the recording process . I’ve made my best music with Backup and I won’t go anywhere else because of it. Can’t wait to go back for another session !
If your looking for a comfortable, relaxed, vibey setting backup studios has the perfect setup when it comes down to space, booth, Color lights and the detailed aesthetic of the room is the ideal place to feel welcomed and to be in a creative head space to get ideas flowing.
I have recorded at Backup twice. The owner Zach is great. He is polite, professional, and skilled at what he does. Clearly cares about customer service and providing a quality product. The studio was neat, clean, and welcoming when I was there. The final recording product was very solid. Experience was great. Price was very competitive. He’s got a great instagram. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Backup. Will be booking again.

This place has excellent quality in everything they do all their work from 10 to stereo systems from lighting systems the custom boxes everything they do they put 110% in and you always remember you get what you pay for this place is very well priced for the quality of work they do I would recommend them to anybody getting a car tinted or getting a stereo system put in our just doing pod lights in your wheels

Then asked about purchasing a speaker, but she couldn’t help with that either. Very dissatisfied.
