Cody T was an excellent salesperson. He knew exactly where the book I wanted was located. He also shared the fact that he recommended that same book to a friend. He was very polite and friendly. I am a minority and a lot of the time people act as if the faster we can pay them and get out the better. But Cody wasn’t that way at all, he didn’t even seem to notice my color. Thank you Cody.
Got my guitar here manager was super nice and understood what I wanted and helped me in every way she could
I play thr clarinet and the saxophone and got them from here. I also take lessons and this place always has what I need.
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!
Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.
Very poor experience with lessons. Tried to cancel lessons because we were traveling for the holidays. We missed 3 of 4 lessons before they called and asked why we weren’t coming. We had originally planned on continuing our lessons, but after multiple refusals to work with us (saying “you signed the contract and there’s nothing we can do”) by staff and manager, that’s not going to happen. I wasn’t expecting much as they are technically correct – we did sign, but didn’t understand the auto renewal policy. They can do better, and should.
2. Guitar Center
Address: 9647 E County Line Rd, Englewood, CO 80112 , Acres Green , Colorado , United States
This place is down right amazing! They helped me so much get a present for my husband. It was back ordered but they took care of me and went out of their way to make sure I would get it on time. Then when I had to return the same thing two months later because it was not compatible with Reason they were totally fine with it and it took like two minutes to do. They are the nicest people at this store and it is now the only one my husband and I will go to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Very helpful in finding what I needed, and it is not just guitars. You can find keyboards and drumsets as well
People there help us real good, got a good set of drums from them… Thanks guys
Ok not one of the good ones
This GC is definitely nicer than the Denver store, but to me, Guitar Center is Guitar Center, and shopping at GC is an annoying, intimidating experience. But I don’t want to pay 8.99 for a pkg of Regular Slinkys, so I shop here.
Good people.
Made the mistake of ordering a used amp on the internet to pick up in an hour or so. Picked it up and only checked cosmetics. Played it home and found it had scratchy pots and a nasty buzz at higher volume. Seems GC doesn’t check their used gear. I go to Music Go Round now as they check all equipment and have decent deals.
Store layout is good. Prices not horrible. Customer service is awful. Walked in to the drum section at 130pm. Still havent seen anyone for help in over 30 minutes. Theres always a ton of employees but they seem to never be helping customers…
This place is terrible. NOBODY ever asked if I needed help. It’s like they could care less if you buy something… maybe they are not commissioned anymore.
I normally only go here to test out equipment before I buy it on Sweetwater, BUT yesterday I saw a guitar I actually liked, so I waited patiently at the counter as the old man was helping someone else. He looked at met asked if I’d been helped and I said “no, I was just hoping that this came in another color” as the Telecaster I was looking at was super ugly. In a rude (I’m better than you) voice he says “ no that’s a signature series”
I said bummer put it back and walked out… then I googled it and sure enough IT COMES IN BLACK!!!!
I just hate the attitude you get from the pompous jerks that have consistently been employed by Guitar Center for decades!!! All he had to do was look it up and I would have bought it from them but nooooooooo that was too hard. I’m sorry that you’re 60 and work a teenagers job, but have some pride in customer service JERK!!!!
3. A Musician Is…
Address: 9360 Teddy Ln STE 102, Lone Tree, CO 80124 , Acres Green , Colorado , United States
Nicole is passionate and hard working. She has a good overall interaction with my daughter while also making clear the standards and expectations of her when playing violin. She has also worked for opportunities to let braylee see what it’s like to perform what she’s been practicing in front of others with her recitals and the opportunity to play the anthem at a Rockies game which hopefully still happens . I do highly recommend giving Nicole a try if you’re in the market for lessons.
My daughter is 12 and we have been going to A Musician Is….. for 2 years now. At that age many hobbies come and go but not her desire to play the violin and I believe that has alot to do with Nikki. I’ve sat in on every class and it’s amazing to see the progress my daughter has made and knowledge she has gained learining to play the violin, the discipline she has learned being a musician and how to apply that to everyday life. Nikki’s music knowledge and the tidbits she throws your way makes each class entertaining.
My daughter looks forward to all the recitals and gets a kick out of people of all ages dressed up nervous and excited to perform. Nikki is an awesome teacher that I would highly recommend to anyone!!!
My daughter has been taking lessons with Ms. Rafferty for almost a year now and is thriving with violin! Ms. Rafferty is a master at her craft and has given my daughter techniques that help her do well for a lifetime of music. She values tendinitis prevention which I appreciate. Her work as a teacher is very thorough and detailed.
4. Church Organs of Colorado
Address: 10128 Knoll Cir, Littleton, CO 80130 , Acres Green , Colorado , United States
As always helpful and friendly staff, not to mention their social distancing practices puts the buying experience at ease. 10/10 support local music
Friendly staff great location.
Nice place to try and buy musical instruments.
Love the store !!Been going there for 15 years. New owner seems to be a straight forward Stand-up guy, they said to smash this guitar my guitar tech made it play beautifully
EDIT: Since my initial review below, Scott (the store owner) contacted me, verified my attempts at contact (taking the time to dig up emails), and made everything right. I returned the pedal and he confirmed that it was a modified unit and refunded me in total. I’m relieved to hear that this is not considered acceptable at their store and would give 5 stars if someone would have contacted me sooner. Many thanks to Scott.
INITIAL REVIEW: I purchased a used Boss FRV-1 reverb pedal online. Turned out to be a bogus pedal with some other circuit mounted in the FRV-1 chassis. The tone potentiometer was merely mounted freely and unconnected to the circuitboard to keep up the false appearance. At first, I only knew that the thing wasn’t working correctly so I emailed them but never recieved a response after repeated attempts. I hesitated to call, hoping I could figure out/find something minor about the pedal that could be easily fixed. I eventually called and was placed on hold and no one picked up. When I got around to opening the pedal chassis up, I found what I described above.
Great shop! You can expect to pay a little more than average for used fear here, but they are VERY thorough with inspections before they buy. You can trust you will get good gear. Use as a last resort for selling though. They will give you next to nothing for your used gear. They have to make money right. Overall, staff is very friendly and helpful and new gear rolls in pretty consistently which is good and bad news for those of us with incorrigible G.A.S.
Do not buy anything used. The warranty is only good for sore credit. They sell you something broken or on the edge of broken and then you can only get store credit. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the used products are poor quality and worthless. I lost $200 to this store. The USB midi port did not work at all, wouldn’t even turn on. The akai mpk-25 controller stopped working properly after one month. I took very good care of these items. I would not waste your time on this scamming “must-be struggling” establishment. Especially if you are serious about music.
I’ve been going here since I was like 6. When I decided to start playing guitar they helped me pick out the perfect one. I go here to buy pretty much all of my gear.
Edit: this place has really gone down. Went in today… took them 15 minutes to even acknowledge I was at the counter… I was trying to sell something, and nobody was in there, and they told me they wouldn’t have time to get me in that day even though I went in at 4, and they don’t close until 8… and it wasn’t even just this last time that was bad, it’s been the last several… it’s gotten so bad I’ve started going to spaceman guitars in a sketchy part of town.
Every time I buy gear here something is wrong with it. Just paid $60.00 for a set of Gibson Deluxe tuners. Installed them and two of the cover fell off. Someone had cut the tabs off all the covers. Really tired of the lack of attention to the functionality of the gear they sell. Will not buy here again!

Music & Arts Littleton rocks!
Very well thought selection of musical instruments and accessories here!
Even better is their service. I came in needing something that was not in stock, instead of just saying no, Hope (associate’s name) took it upon herself to locate the item at another branch and had it sent to this store, I received a call a couple days later and went down to pick it up. It is nice to have great service like this whatever the size of the store. I will return to Music & Arts in Littleton the next time I need anything musical.
Staff is alway helpful and easy to deal with even with the computer freezing up! Great place
Best sheet music collection in the Colorado second only to the Campus Music store up in Greeley. Love this place!
This is one of the best music store around the neighborhood. They even sale old music records and they also give lessons.
Low guitar selection. Great for beginners, but not top choice for a seasoned player.
They have a bunch of guitar paraphernalia, some keyboard, brass, and clarinet stuff, but nothing for oboe.
Products are expensive but cheap quality
If only 0 stars was an option. That is what this place deserves. Rented a sax for 3 years, it was stolen at 2 years. We had insurance on it so no big deal. This place did not tell us that they opened up a new account for the new sax which killed our 2 years with of credits.
Today we called to see what we could use our credits on and they told us we could apply it a piano, great that’s what we want. Get to the store and the children working that day says that is not true.
From day one this place gives mixed messages. Don’t waste your money here, everything is overpriced. Buy an instrument outright from somewhere reputable.
Way to take advantage of parents who want to get their kids into music. Shame on you and your business of swindling people.
It’s gone from good to not-so-good. The selection is small and the staff is non-interested.
My son was taking piano lessons from Miss Claudia at the Piano Playhouse a year ago. She is kind, patient, and loves to teach! My son enjoyed her lessons and has even memorized the music CD.
My 5 year old daughter has been taking lessons for nearly a year. It’s been such a joy to see her learn and appreciate music. She is now playing with both hands! Claudia does a great job providing a very structured environment focusing on both ear training, music theory and music appreciation…all mixed with fun!
My son has been taking piano from Miss Claudia at the Piano Playhouse for about a year. It is amazing how well she keeps the attention of 4 and 5 year olds. They play songs by ear, are learning to read music, and can sing using do-re-mi, and yet, they are having so much fun, I’m not sure they realize how much they are learning. Claudia is fun, engaging and absolutely wonderful with the kids. Her studio is comfortable, but with high quality equipment for the kids to learn on. We’re so glad we found the Piano Playhouse!
I strongly recommend taking lessons at Allegro Music
Absolutely love this place. Local shop and they do incredible work on guitar set ups.
Good place to buy musical instruments. Very helpful staff
Great shall music shop with a helpful staff. Looks like a great place for learning young musicians.
Fantastic music shop Two guys were in there working. So very helpful. I shopped the stores and net before heading out. Allegro music has great prices
My son dropped his guitar off over two weeks ago to get fixed and they never even pulled it out of the bag to fix it. They lost the paper work and we’re worthless at customer service! My son had to find his own guitar in the mess and nothing had been done to it. Never getting our business again ( actually didn’t have to pay because they didn’t touch it) and I’ll tell everyone they are horrible.
I came for the guitar lessons. The staff was very polite. For a long time, they asked a teacher whom I even very briefly met. We agreed on the price, schedule and I left my phone number on which the teacher should contact me. No one contacted me. What is most surprising is that the manager sees that something is wrong, the student did not come to the planned very first lesson and does nothing. This place is probably so overloaded with work that they can choose individuals to be their students… Unfortunately, I can not recommend this place.
I wouldn’t shop there for anything except for guitar picks or something maybe not even that.
19. Best Buy
Address: 8682 Park Meadows Center Dr, Lone Tree, CO 80124 , Acres Green , Colorado , United States
I used to think of Best Buy as mediocre, but in the last few years they have remade themselves into a place I frequent regularly, because of the knowledgeable and helpful staff and good selection of products.
On average good place with decent prices. Lack of stock and price matching with ease make it easier to shop on Amazon.
I would like to see people over the shelves. Employees were available and helpful. I would come back
Very impersonal but they had what I needed
The worst Best Buy experience. Guy in the front is rude. The employees do not know how to do their job and have no customer service. The only positive was the geek squad.
The entire retail shopping experience was filled with an unshakable and uneasy feeling that I could get it on Amazon easier with better service and selection.
Salesperson was lazy. No knowledgeable help available. Store has and can do better.
Last evening, for the first time, my wife and I heard this significantly talented group do their Christmas Concert…what welcome moments! They put a whole new spin to Christmas classics…and we so enjoyed watching them watch each other…you can only imagine that some of them were probably full of mischief when kids…which is a bit what jazz is musically. We look forward to hearing more concerts by this exceptional group!
This group is killer! Best big band jazz in Colorado.
