Absolutely no regard for customers saying when the kiosk is down when I already returned my disk before it was down they charged me 32 dollars for a disk when I returned it and they wouldn’t give me a refund . Dont trust redbox at all .
2. Once Upon A Thread thriftstore
Address: Anza, CA 92539 , Anza , California , United States
I always past by while heading out to San Diego and have been curious to see what’s inside and sure enough i discovered many treasures. It’s one of those random thrift shops that you didn’t know you might get something you’d been wanting. Store owner was very sweet. Definitely a must don’t pass it up.
Someone in Anza purchases excellent biblical reference books and then turns them into Once Upon a Thread. I get to buy them literally for pennies on the dollar. I also find good coats for the winter and t shirts for working on the Rez; i.e., use once and dispose of them after getting them filthy.
I’m so pleased to have found these great mirrors at such a fair price. I also have a few things to donate now and again.
3. Cahuilla Mountain Market
Address: 53071 CA-371, Anza, CA 92539 , Anza , California , United States
Feels like somebodys tentative to patrons needs. Especially if they need to get gone!
Small location with typical soft drinks and snacks. Clean and well kept. Good service. Quaint.
The BBQ food is excellent!
No one wears a mask. Not the employees or patrons. Refuse to apend money there and risk my family’s health.
Casher was really rude with his language when explaining he was to lazy to get propane. The place reminded of a David Allen coe song
Horrible! I’ve been in here a few times and the man was nice but the lady that was there just now, I hadn’t dealt with before, decided to cuss my dad out in Spanish. Apparently asking if they carry items is too much to ask for. I wonder if swearing is all she knows in Spanish. If she doesn’t care what they sell and doesn’t feel like helping people then she should probably look elsewhere. The casino just a few minutes away has a better selection but it’s always nice to use local business. I hope the owners look into her behavior. I would be shocked to learn that she is the owner. I can’t imagine she is. There is NO WAY I will be stopping there again. It’s sad too because I used to think it was a nice environment. Everyone else there is always nice.
4. Harvard Street Music Exchange
Address: 134 S Harvard St, Hemet, CA 92543 , Anza , California , United States
Very friendly and helpful staff. I didnt know what i needed for my daughter’s band instrument they helped and guided me every step of the way. On top of that 10% discount for students cant beat that
Such a welcoming atmosphere with great music teachers and honest salesmanship.
It is a good store owned by good people. Staff is friendly. New location is nice with four booths being developed as quite rooms. The store is still in development, but is a good place for good equipment and no BS. I am sure it will be at 5 stars in no time. Prices are very reasonable.
Record selection is hit or miss but ever growing and well priced
Great selectiob
Over priced on everything…service has gone bad
Terrible place. My son took 2 of his beloved guitars for consignment sale. Every time he called to check on status, it was a different excuse as to why they had no time to answer his questions, or just said they were too busy and would have to call him back. They have NEVER called back. My son went last weekend to pick up his guitars, only to be told that they were SOLD!!! To who?? My son never received a penny!!! Ripoff!!! He was told the manager would call him right away. He’s called every single day to get restitution, no manager, no contact whatsoever!!! They sold his guitars and kept the money!!! Scam artists!!! DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! DON’T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR GUITARS!!!
Left my acoustic electric guitar to be diagnosed on Saturday for no sound output. Was promised by Jason that it would be looked at and I would receive a call Monday with a quote on the repair. Monday passed with no call. I called Tuesday to check on it and the guy that answered seemed bothered and impatient with me. He said he didn’t see my guitar anywhere in the store and had no idea what was being done with it. He put me on hold for a couple minutes and looked for it, it was still in the store. He abruptly answered saying, “I found it I call you back in a little bit” and then just hung up on me. 3 hours passed and I called back. Someone else answered and said the previous employee had taken it apart and then just left for the day. No call back again to let me know what was being done. Wednesday passed, no call back. I called today Thursday and was told they sent it to their outside technician to fix it, not quote it. I told them to just bring it back to the store so I could pick it up, I was tired of the run around and lack of communication on their part. Completely unprofessional and lack of customer service here. I will never step in this store again!
5. Music & Arts
Address: 39520 Murrieta Hot Springs Rd #223, Murrieta, CA 92563 , Anza , California , United States
Master Musician has friendly helpful employees. I play the violin and i LOVE to shop here.
Omg best place ever! Now I have new friends that work and go there. My band teachers and I totally suggest going here. I play two different instruments and when they need care I can always rely on Master Musicans!
Always so helpful.
Great place to go for all your musical instrument needs! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, wide variety of services. However, I would lean away from buying any brass or woodwind instruments from them, as their instruments are poor quality and tend to break rather easily.
Very good service.
Customer service was great, but products were out of stock without knowing the next restock date or available only online.
Took my daughters saxaphone to evaluate for a repair. Was quoted $600 labor, and additional $150 for parts plus a necessary new case $150?? And the store fee. My nieces band teacher found 2 loose screws and replaced 1 cracked pad. Total $10.
This place will try to take advantage of you and rip you off!!! Avoid at all costs… Scamers!!! Don’t belive the pad bugs story!!! They want to hook u into a rental!!!
We had NEVER owned a violin in iur lives. My daughter wanted to try the violin and the instructor suggested renting to own at this stoee. We rented 1/2 size supposedly new rent to own ( BY the way my daughter maybe played 3 weeks and both even that much on that violin) when the teacher said the violin was too big and we needed to exchange for a 1/4 size. When we exchanged the tech told us the bow was not it, and when we returned he did gave us a crapp bow that really lookes like it had been used for MONTHS and he told us that came from our box. Like i said, we NEVER owned violins before. Now we have a basic worthless bow back. And by the way. The bow that came with the 1/4 size does not look new and did not come wrapped in plastic. Just to be written somewehre so when we return you will not accuse us of returning something that we did not. Buyers beware and take pictures of what you rent/ buy or return.
Rented instruments there and throughout the year were good but then I was charged when I returned them by mistake. I have been calling them for a refund and have been unsuccessful. Spoke to the store manager Kirk and was told he would send another email when he had sent one 4 days ago and did not get a response. He was careless about the customer and did not consider my frustration with the situation. It should not take almost 15 days for this still not to be taken care of. When I addressed him about the situation and asked to talk to his boss, he stated he could not give me her information and to call the call center myself. Absolutely unacceptable the type of customer service I have received. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
6. Bertrand’s/Pete’s Music
Address: 28780 Old Town Front St, Temecula, CA 92592 , Anza , California , United States
Pete was so helpful in promptly providing us with great service when we needed some quick repairs! Thank you!
Two big thumbs up, great service, Mike took care of my strat and now plays better than ever. Highly recommended.
Friendly, great service. Thanks for the trumpet repair!
Honest owner who does the right thing
Small shop, new owners changing venue from mainly rock & roll instruments to more classical / orchestra type. instruments.
Pete helped us tune our auto harp.great service.
An employeefrom this store stole my CC information and charged over 200 to it. Filling charges against both parties.
They seemed nice enough, but it turns out they either didn’t know about violins or weren’t honest. We wanted an intermediate violin and they ended up selling us a beginner’s violin that they said was intermediate. The price we paid for a used instrument was almost as much as some of that brand sells new. Now that we have learned more it turns out we could have bought a similar violin for about half what we paid. Make sure you already know your instruments and prices before you walk through the door.
7. Music & Arts
Address: 3800 E Vista Chino Suite 4, Palm Springs, CA 92262 , Anza , California , United States
Hidden gem! Wonderful, knowledgeable staff genuinely happy to help. Bianca, Andrew and Abel are true rock stars. Give them a call or better yet, go see them and you’ll be sure to leave with a pep in your step along with a fabulous instrument. Whether renting or looking to purchase they’ll find the right fit for you.
I brought my daughter here for music lessons. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. They have a nice but small selection for instruments.
There are young adults that works here, and they have the best customer service ever! They are very knowledgeable and helpful.
8. Studio Gears
Address: 40935 County Center Dr Ste E, Temecula, CA 92591 , Anza , California , United States
Studio Gears is an amazing shop with outstanding selection and service! I’ve purchased two custom shop guitars from Don at Studio Gears: a Schecter Synyster Gates and an ESP Gary Holt EC. Studio Gears exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Don was fantastic to deal with before, during and after the sale. I’m very happy to have found Studio Gears online and will be looking forward to buying many more awesome axes from them!
Darned if I couldn’t find an Ibanez ATK 815e anywhere, not even a used one, I checked every online store, even calling them too… then Don was able to get me the last existing one on the planet, straight from Ibanez in Japan, no less!!
He kept me updated all the while and I can’t say enough about the unique selection and service from Studio Gear!
Thanks Don!
I tried to contact them to buy a guitar, but they never called back. That means your customer service is poor.
9. Ramona Music Center
Address: 1045 Main St, Ramona, CA 92065 , Anza , California , United States
I Bought a Epiphone Gibson Strat Style and A Line 6 Spider 3 Amp back in 2014!!! I Still have Them ,They gave Me a Great Deal !!! The Owners Are Awesome
Friendly staff, great instructors. Great musical store in Ramona.
Came in to buy some marching sticks and was expecting to get overcharged because that’s how most businesses in Ramona are…
My expectations could not have been more wrong.
I got some good quality sticks for a great price. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
When these break, I’ll definitely be coming back to this store. 13/10!
Very small shop but packed full of instruments. Just due to the size of the shop, the selection of strings and picks ect. Was limited. I will definitely be going back. I would much rather support small businesses like this one Vs. Guitar Center.
Small mom and pa shop. They have used guitars too. People working were not the friendliest here in Ramona. Prices were higher I noticed on many things.
10. Stan’s Music
Address: 56636 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284 , Anza , California , United States
The owner Stan is very helpful and knowledgeable about music and everything I asked him even about banjos
I’ve taken two guitars two Stan’s for repair.
The first time the employee fixed a tuner on my acoustic guitar while I stood there and charged me very little.
The second time was this week. I brought Stan my brand new guitar purchased from Guitar Center. Stan took a look at it and diagnosed the problem. Basically, he said they sold me a LEMON with a warped fret board and Stan advised me to return it and ask for a refund. He didn’t charge me for the diagnosis and he educated me.
Great guy! I did return the guitar to Guitar Center. Stan is awesome. I will continue bringing my guitars there.
The only music store in high desert.
Nice place, Stan knows what he is talking about. I was looking for drum stuff but not much there.
Browns Music has shut down a compleetly diffrent music store has moved in called Stan’s Music.
I love the store and their prices but I’ve only ever been able to go in once or twice. They always seem to be closed even when they’re supposedly open. Kind of sucks when they’re the only music store in town.
Nice folks got some nice things in the shop! BUT I had a set up and string change done after traveling from the east coast and it looked like a child wrapped the strings around the tuners.. and it would not stay in tune (obviously) so would not recommend a set up!
11. Guitar Center
Address: 712 Center Dr, San Marcos, CA 92069 , Anza , California , United States
James is the best… He can set you up. If you need any sound and audio.. your talking g to the right person.. with large or small.. he’s the dude..
Knowledgeable staff and good prices
Found what I wanted.
I like guitar center but…due to many factors they don’t stock the variety of instruments they used to. Getting competent help seems to be more difficult as well. I am glad they are still in business and will continue to go there for certain items.
Good selection of instruments. Had lots of things needed for trumpets and trombones. Though to buy one it was around 300 for a brand new instrument it had to be expected. There is also a test room for guitars. Overall was great.
Great selection and staff is friendly. I rated 4 stats because the cleanliness good use some work.
So I bought some stuff about a month ago, I’ve got 3 out of the four items I bought. I called to ask if I could get help in tracking my forth item, I was asked to wait for ops chief so I waited for sometime as expected cause of the Rona, then I ask the guy for help trying to figure out how or where I can track my fourth item and just hangs up on me.
They have a stupid law, they offer a used instrument for sale but you’re not able to buy them until one more later because they have to check if is stolen, but is on display
They had two left handed guitars. I bought one, the other was decrepit.
