I’ve worked with Goose on a few films. The man knows what he is doing when it comes to music and he’s willing to work with you in terms of cost and the music pieces themselves. He’s very professional which is about what you expect from an honest business man.

Very cool music store and very helpful employees !
No music store I would rather support with my business!!!
Very friendly. We stopped in just to browse and bought an Ibanez for my daughter.
Lots of instruments. Decent prices.
Friendly people, prices seem fair, selection was good.
Nice friendly staff
I’ve purchased things from here before, but today, I felt as though my business was not wanted. I took a violin in due to having issues tuning it and the bridge popping off. Was told what I need to do. Told them thank you and asked my daughter if she wanted to look around. Was told to have a nice day. Was not asked if I needed help with anything else. Employee just walked away
Very rude to my wife and all she did was ask a queston please don’t do business with these people we don’t need rude people in this town.
They are selling stolen property.

These guys are more than helpful and knowledgeable
Get ready to open your wallet. They’ve got alot of really nice instruments and most everything you need to go with but prices are a little high. Would still recommend this place.
My experience could not have been better at Guitar Center. Everyone who works there seems glad to be there! They are knowledgeable, they know you need a lot of time to find your guitar and you are given all the time you need. What other store encourages you to buy the product you think you want, take it home and spend time with it. Then if you wish (within 45 days!) come back and swap, pay the difference and take home the guitar, in my case, that I didn’t know I wanted until I found it on my 2nd trip into the store. I must have spent at least 3 to 4 hours over 2 visits playing different guitars until I found mine! All stores should have the culture you will find at Guitar Center! Jacob! Chris! And every GC employee I met but didn’t get their name made my Guitar Center experience absolutely great! This store is full of employees who love to come to work and it shows. (I’m really not related to anyone there!) It makes me want to go back, I’m sure I need something!
They have a good selection of instruments some very nice ones of all kinds but don’t expect them to answer to many repair questions I called about a part for my bass and the guy got my number and was supposed to call back I bet my wife he wouldn’t call back and I won
I got a complete music-writing setup for very little funds.
Was way over priced
The new staff is very unprofessional.
Drove from Conway to Little Rock only to find out the item I wanted to buy was out of stock after the online system said there were 2 in stock.
Idiots galore slamed on a guitar I bought from them… Made themselfs look foolish…

I wish I could give these guys more than 5 stars. Such an amazing selection of the best instruments available. Amazing staff members – top notch and super professional. Helpful and willing to climb up and down the ladder for my incessant requests to play “that one up there” I would recommend this place with the highest regard to anyone even remotely interested in music or musical instruments. I’m a self taught multi-Instrument musician of 20+ years and these guys made me feel right at home! Shoutout to Joey and his agreement with me about my ex and her guitar busting habits. Lol check these guys out you will not be disappointed! 10000/10. Will return often.
The instructors there are amazing.. my boyfriend and his three kids get lessons there… Preston runs a great business !
I take voice lessons from Ronnie and Jamie McDaniel. 5 Stars!
Talked to Joey in the store today. He took some time to help me plan for an upcoming purchase for our church. They have a large selection of all kinds of musical instruments and they do lessons, as well. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Thanks, Joey!
I was looking at electric guitars and they didn’t offer to let me plug any of them in. How are you truly going to know if you like one or not if you can’t hear the sound.
Usually busy because they’re good at what they do!
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.

Great place!!! I drove there all the way from Little Rock.
I bought a guitar from Paul online and I’m so happy to know it was a privately owned business.
Thanks Paul for the guitar and the excellent customer service. Hope to visit you one day!
Great service!
Not to bad
Great local music store. We have shopped here for years.
Good place to buy guitars, don’t ask them to fix anything you own uness you want it damaged.
Rude

Well now Clarinda is the gal to do business with and maybe learn a thing or two about that special instrument you’ve been looking for. Even if you’re not player. Yet.
Inspiration is where it all starts. You’ll need a quality instrument that is comfortable to you ear and to wear. Because after all, that instrument you’re wearing is a part of you. Linked right to your heart. That’s it. Music.
Clarinda has good taste. Her selection of instruments are about the best values you’ll find. Value. Clarinda’s knowledge of selection. An instrument you’ll look forward to playing. Her personal attention to detail makes all the difference.
I bought 1 Loar LM-700-VS mandolin from Clarinda. I wanted a pick up installed. No problem. Done. I also bought an original version stock Loar LM-700-VS. Plugged in or not these mandolins are top notch! Will knock down your doors and the dogs will come runnin’ in! So to speak… couldn’t be happier. – Steve Kletzel – In Portland Oregon
Bought an excellent sounding, sweet mandolin from Clarinda at a very reasonable price.
Bought a beautiful Loar LM-600 from Clarinda. Great set up, great playing mandolin and a great price.

Address: 3515 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72801 , Arkansas County , Arkansas , United States
Nice little music shop with great customer service!
Old friends I’ve known for over 50 years. Always friendly and good price.
Great people, a very old store
I went into to buy a guitar. Very small selection
Lots of sheet music and DVDs but it is all on the computer today. Wonderful people. I wish them well!
My visit was to test the integrity of an electric guitar I had. Spoke to the guy behind the counter. (The one with the gray streaked goatee). Told him I was preparing to sell it via Facebook, and all I want to do is see if it sounds as it should. He said it was ok I was like great thanks. The buyer was from outta town and was shopping for guitar supplies. She had just bought amp still needed a cord possibly more. Asked her to meet up there since she was just down the road. She wanted to go in do to the rain. Instantly he started ranting that he’s a business man a professional and I was shady for what I had done. I was very polite. My reply ( I’m sorry I brought you a customer sure she meet up with me to buy a guitar for cheap but she still may need something) she was there for his childish act. ( she replied I do need a cord) He didn’t even bother to respond to her. He looks at me says someone smells bad like cigarettes… Wow 0 stars for your sir. Where’s your public relations at. Your welcome for that sell.

Thanks for fixing up my Tele Andy, and great job on the setup – plays like a dream!
Best local guitar shop in NWA!! Mom and pop shop, Ron is the most respectful and fair guy around!! Great customer service!! Support local!!
Muy divertido
Firstly, this shop provides great service on guitars, setups and string changes. But beware of purchasing a guitar that is not currently hanging on their shelf. For example, the Fender American Professional II Strat, comes in 9 different colors. If you want a color that isn’t hanging on their wall, they will offer to get it for you, but it will be considered a “special order” and not eligible to be returned. This is an odd policy since they are an authorized Fender dealer. If you order the guitar direct from Fender, or Sweetwater, or any other online retailer, the guitar is eligible for return no questions asked. So essentially, trying to support a small shop will eliminate any guarantees offered by the manufacturer. Understand, I realize a small shop has limitations and must do what’s best for their bottom line. However, it was never communicated to me “hey if I order this guitar for you, it’s unreturnable.” The thought never crossed my mind to ask, since the item I ordered was a stock offering from Fender, nothing special or custom about it. It’s extremely surprising that a Fender dealer is not able to provide the same customer satisfaction policies that are in place by Fender themselves. Most of the guitars hanging on the walls are mid-tier or entry level guitars, so if you want something better, and you want the peace of mind to return it if you’re not happy with it, then I suggest looking elsewhere. If you need a great setup on your guitar, ReMix can do it.
Friendly’s staff knows equipment.
We bought a guitar here for our son a couple weeks back. One guy was way too salesy and talked too much but I like supporting local so we bought one.
Went in looking for DJing equipment to start a new hobby. Got laughed at and was told this store is for real musicians. Went in thinking I could get advice and assistance on starting up a new hobby and instead got pushed out with no tips or advice to start this hobby. Defiantly taking my business elsewhere.
Didn’t like the guy’s attitude or the prices. I probably won’t be back.
I will never deal with them again,
16. Been-Around Records & C D’s
Address: 1216 S University Ave, Little Rock, AR 72204 , Arkansas County , Arkansas , United States
I luv Mr.John & his vintage style & musics…a wonderful place to be
A great selection (and prices) plus the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable!
Been-Around records is nothing short of a cultural institution in Little Rock. Though John, the proprietor, is far too humble to own that claim. Over the decades, it has been a constant source for rare finds reasonably priced. More significantly, it has intentionally curated music of importance that would have been inaccessible before digital distribution. I found records on my last visit that were unexpected. I was surprised to see that the prices were much more reasonable than the current bubble of vinyl prices. It may take longer than expected to find something. But it is worth digging to find buried treasure.
I went here for the first time on Saturday and I nearly emptied my bank account. If you’re like me and have odd taste in music you will surely find something here! The place was a little crowded but it looked like he was restocking his shelves with new merchandise which is always a good sign! Love this place!
Great place lots of good music.
This place is a mess. A lot of vinyl albums but most aren’t worth wasting your time looking through to find a mediocre find. Lots of records just laying face down and stacked. Loads of records behind stacked records. Just a place of disarray.
Went there to try and sell some CDs and record and cassette tapes and they were not open the hours said Monday to Friday was 10 am till 5 pm no body there.
Shop was closed when i turned up within the opening hours. I will not be returning. Difficult to park there fyi

Nice people, we haven’t purchased anything yet but we will be back.
Such a fun experience! They sang, they played guitar and they were very knowledgeable! They made me feel comfortable about learning to play! Excellent customer service! Will definitely be back!
There’s no better place to get music gear in all of NWA. Don’t ever go to Guitar Center. Even if they have to order something they’ll treat you right and get you a good price. They have a great selection of drum stuff. If you need a random hi hat cymbal arm adapter, they got it.
I’ve also know a lot of the teacher there and they are some of the best musicians I’ve met, not to mention good and patience teachers.
Nice guys old school music guys with a lot of knowledge
Great place.
Good customer service fair pricing
Do not honor trade in value. Poor customer service.
Helloooo arkansasmusicworks,
helloooo Mrs. Christina Baker,
My name is Ümit Özkalender and I ordered on 02/23/2017 via ebay.de (germany) 3 Dimarzio Steve Vai Guitar straps. After my shippment is not arrived, I wrote an email to you. NO ANSWER! Then I get in touch with ebay custom care. They told me, not to open a case! They get in touch with you! 30 days later after purchase and payment with PayPal, they told me that a case was not opend and my money was gone! PayPal do the same, what those useless, zero function ebay custom care do! Then I wrote you a couple of emails. NO ANSWER! No Shippment tracking! No replacement! No refund! NOTHING !!!
Soo, my 1st question is. Are you a serious company? And if you a serious company. Do you have any idea what custom care is? Grab the money and out of sight, out of mind?
And, my 2nd question. I want the guitar straps! Does that mean, I must pay one more time and hope it will be delivered! This time! Maybe?
Hope you have an good answer!
Regards
I’ve got no shippment and I was not refunded! That’s a fact! Don’t matter if it’s one or two years ago!
I wish I knew or experienced what other people have seen here. I walked in with my wife as the only customers an hour after they opened. Out of the four visible employees milling around, one nodded a hello as we walked in the front doors. Otherwise, there was no interaction from anyone. No one even bothered to notice we were leaving even though we walked next to them and the counter is 20 ft from the door.
The guitar inventory was ok, acoustic guitars are less than 1/5 of the inventory and like the balance, was mid-low to low end save one or two items. There is nothing wrong with the quality and price point/selection being on the affordable side but I was a bit shocked given how pretty the property is and it’s overall size. I was looking for something different and would only really knock a five start review down one notch at worst.
The bathrooms are very clean.
18. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 406 E 22nd St, Stuttgart, AR 72160 , Arkansas County , Arkansas , United States
Love Stuttgart ark Walmart store is so organized. Very clean nice friendly staff. Easy to find what you are looking for. The lawn and garden is beautiful one can tell whoever is assigned to that dept really has a love for plants and. Gardening. I just love to stop by whenever I’m in town.
Friendly neater than usual.
The pharmacy was crazy. I called two and a half hours earlier and I still had to wait over an hour.
Sheives were empty no eggs period in cooler . Check out was unbelievable slow only 3 registers people standing in line 30 minutes to get checked out . This store is usually better than this.
it does have alot of the new items in stock
Ok busy normally
Not enough cashiers! Standing in long lines to spend money. If my husband had not been with me, I would have left my cart full and walked out!
While store is an average sized superstore, it lacks many items I’d expect to find such as a variety of baby toys, dvds, & clothing for misses sizes, & crafts. Fabrics department has been completely removed. It has no drive thru pickup service yet. The pharmacy, stays busy, but has only 2 small benches for its waiting customers. Refills take almost an hour. Photo department is sadly lacking in products, but the electronics has an average supply of products. Stuttgart store also has higher prices on same product found in a Pine Bluff or Little Rock Wal-Mart.
Les has one of the best music stores around. It’s full of great vintage and new gear at reasonable prices. I’ve purchased several items from Blue Moon Music and will continue to do business with Les. He knows his gear and is a fine musician as well. Go check him out in person. I do wish they had a good website that displayed all his current gear.
Les is the ONLY person I trust with my guitars. After restoring a childhood keepsake guitar 15 years ago, I have never looked elsewhere for service and advice!
In addition, you can find guitars and amps here that you will not find anywhere else. There is more knowledge here than you will find in 50 chain store employees combined!
Great place!
I got a Fender blues Jr. amp fixed here last year and payed $60 for the work. A few weeks later the amp stopped working so I called the shop and the owner told me that they don’t guarantee their work. I took the amp to another store and spent another $60 to have it worked on again. Take care of your customers and they will come back.
It cool
20. Dulcimer Shoppe
Address: 1104 Sylamore Ave, Mountain View, AR 72560 , Arkansas County , Arkansas , United States
Wonderful musician played the Mt Dulcimer for us! Very kind employees. Beautiful shop!
One of my favorite places to go.
Love the Dulcimer Shop… Picked up my first dulcimer from them in 1977 signed by Lynn. ( my favorite ). Now have several others.
Make you feel right at home. Lots to look at
Maybe since it was the end of their tourist season, seemed low in gift area and always the same items in the giftshop.
We had fun learning about dulcimers and how to play the various types here! They were nice and informative workers and you could see where they make them behind a glass window in the shop. There were some neat souvenirs and things there too. All in all we enjoyed our visit.
