106 West is phenomenal!! Becky and Thom are amazing people with amazing talent. My daughter learned so much from them!
Great place to learn music.
A wonderful place that hosts some of the most talented musicians – including Thom! Do not miss the opportunity to catch an open Mike or a live show! If you or your children have an interest in learning a variety of instruments (or singing) the school is very hard to beat!
No hours posted. Waisted a trip. It’s 1322 on a Friday and I still have know idea when the shop is open.
I was a little apprehensive about having to pawn my belongings for cash but the attitude of the staff set me at ease. The whole process was quick and easy! Couldn’t have asked for a more friendly experience.
Workers or very polite and helpful. Did not wait long to be help. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend
iPawn in Winder, Ga is the only shop I ever pawn anything!
They are always nice. They send you reminders before your payment is due, you have a 10 day grace period after due date, if you miss your payment they give a courtesy call & always call to check if your going to make a payment before they put your stuff up for sell.
No other pawn shop has ever done that for me. I would highly recommend them if you ever need to pawn anything.
Usually have a good experience at this store but today I dealt with Josh…… Let me just say I’ve always been treated pretty fairly in that store before but today Josh lowballed the hell out of me and it was rather insulting. Probably won’t be back to that store but if I do and I see josh there I’m walking right back out. I decided to list the item I was trying to sell on Facebook and sold it within a hour of leaving his store and for 3x the amount he wanted to give me. Just make sure you know what your item is worth before going there so you don’t get taken advantage of.
Need to test products more. They have great prices and great deals but electronically, need to fully test their game systems. Bought one yesterday and the controller was broke and the system took 25 minutes to boot up
Helpful and friendly staff.
Upon some items here I was paying more than a minimum payment. After two months I went to make a final payment to get one of my items at upon and I haven’t even paid towards the premium yet because they were using all of it to pay for interest that wouldn’t even hear yet. This place is a crook don’t ever pulled anything here I’m disabled and on a fixed income and they still $150 to cover interested I’ve already paid for for two months. And they won’t be honest and give it back or applied to the account. I have never gotten along that I paid more than the minimum payment and I didn’t go towards the loan itself. This place is the new title max
Purchased laptop, wouldn’t even turn on. Bad business.
Do not absolutely do not Pawn your items at the store this store will not allow you to pay towards your principal in incremental payments, they will only allow you to pay off the entire loan at one time they will accept your monthly interest fee but if you’re lucky enough to save up some money for principal they will not take it unless you can pay it in full….

This studio is the place you wanna be, this is where magic is created.
I’ve been recording at 333 Studios for 6 plus years. Over the years I’ve received excellent, hands on service. Wonderful attention to detail, and the best quality sound in the area all for an affordable rate. It’s a nice intimate setting, and the engineer is very helpful in the creative process as well. Definitely would recommend checking it out!
THE PROFESSIONALISM & ARTIST COURTESY WAS ON FULL DISPLAY AS SOON AS THE SESSION BEGINS…. I called as a last minute request for a same-day to set up a brand new cello that was going to be a surprise gift for my wife. He did an amazing job even managing to squeeze me in between appointments. His attention to detail and care for the peace will make me a return customer anytime I need services in the future.
I was recommended to Mr. Hurley by several violinists throughout the area. He sold us a great violin at a wonderful price and is always available when we have questions or need repairs. I highly recommend him!
If you’re considering purchasing or leasing a quality instrument, search no more. Benny will make sure you get more than your money’s worth.
Good variety on the menu for all meals, especially breakfast.
If your looking for lessons at the Rock Springs location with Rebecca you need to be aware she can be rude and judgmental.
12. TR Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 102 Addison Ln, Hoschton, GA 30548 , Barrow County , Georgia , United States
I’ve had the opportunity to learn music and voice from sources. I must say that nothing comes close, to this particular experience. The piano lessons provided here are both stimulating and motivating and the guidance provided by the instructor has played a role, in my development.
After only two months, my playing has improved many times over (practice, people!), and I’ve already noticed a big difference in my songwriting. If you’re looking to learn theory, proper technique, or just have fun regardless of the genre you’re going for (metal/rock, folk, funk, etc.), give Mike a call.
TR Music and Voice Lessons offers outstanding bass classes! I’ve been learning from Mr. Davis for months now, and his teaching style is fantastic.
13. All Things Piano

10 stars!!!
I called around to have my great grandmother’s 1925 upright piano moved from Gwinnett County to Hart County. Phil was very professional on the phone asked me a few questions then gave me a price, which was way less then any other. Matt and Miles were the the 2 young men moving the the piano on moving day. They arrived at my sisters on-time, wrapped and loaded our treasure. My sister was very pleased with there work on her end. They had to deliver another piano in Athens on the way. Matt sent me a text and let me know they were on the way. Which was great! When they arrived he introduced himself, there was a slight issue with where I wanted to place it, or I thought he checked it out and the attic stairs are just out of the way. They bought it in set it up made sure I was happy. Then we paid. This company is great! If I ever had to move it or another piano again I would definitely use them. Very professional, WELL priced, we were expecting to pay alot more. Thanks, Phil, Matt and Milo for taking care of my great grandmother’s gift to me.
All things piano moved my baby grand piano very secured and efficiently. They definitely knows what they are doing. They came with 2 persons. Appointment done on time, disassemble everything, covered, secured with large rubber band and pack securely before moving. Matt done a great job managing the moving. I shopped around and their pricing was the lowest by far. If you’re looking for piano mover in Atlanta area, look no further.
Great experience! They were timely, friendly and efficient! No damage to the home or piano. Very knowledgeable.
All Things Piano personnel were professional and transported/set up my piano with no mishaps. I was very pleased with the condition of the piano after its storage and move.
The cost was reasonable except for unlocking the action which took about 3 minutes, and the cost for that was a little steep. Otherwise, I would recommend this company for piano storage/transport.
14. Corner Bookstore
Address: 43 N Jackson St, Winder, GA 30680 , Barrow County , Georgia , United States
I love this place, so friendly, books are amazing and well priced!
We love to support our small businesses in our hometown. We always find what we’re looking for and then some. Always our go-to!
Such a kind lady who helped me today. Really loved this bookstore. Great atmosphere.
Love this little bookstore! You can trade in old books for store credit and the books are reasonably priced.
Bien recomendado tienen de todo un poco, services is very good
I’m just happy that my little town has a bookstore of any kind! I love browsing, but most of the kinds of books I like to purchase don’t find their way to the shelves of this store. The owner sells those online. The shelves are packed with the stuff that doesn’t make it on eBay. Prices are a bit higher than usual as well, but if you want a book and you want it now, it’s worth the premium. I buy stuff here occasionally just to support a local business and because I want to see this town have a bookstore! Go check it out and buy something.
My niece wanted some manga books from several different series for Christmas. I took a look at their online “inventory” and was completely misled. One of the series was listed and marked that they had the books available. When I went there in person, they had one shelf with about thirty random books and none from that series. They offered to “order” the books for me, but I’m upset because their website said they had them in stock. Terrible experience. If you need to order, have the website say that. Don’t lie to potential customers!
Decent prices on new books, however used books are way over priced.
I felt that the lady working was very rude. My 8 year old almost had an accident because she wouldn’t let him use the bathroom there. We ran to the restaurant next door. Probably will not return based-on that alone.
Just lost my business. You must have a mask, or you’ll be asked to leave. So much for mom and pop stores.
15. Kaylin’s Music Studio
Address: 161 Marie Ct, Bethlehem, GA 30620 , Barrow County , Georgia , United States
I love this place. Always find good stuff in there
I love shopping at all Goodwill stores. Although I do wish they were more helpful in helping employ Americans as they say that they are. Yes they have the job recruitment center, that helps place the in jobs. They help them write resumes, help them prepare for interviews, take them to and from a interview. They will even take them to and from work. When I was a GM (General Manager) of a sit down ( dine in), take out, drive thru and catering full table service BBQ restaurant I worked with Goodwill to put people to work. The people that I employed there were getting job skills they needed to become self sufficient. They had a counselor at Goodwill who helped them get to and from the job if they needed it and they helped them prepare for the interview and sat in the background while I interviewed them to assess how well they did and didn’t do so that they could help them later. What the program was is this, Goodwill came to us ( the company) and asked if we needed help and would be be willing to give their clients a try. It was a temporary job position for 8 weeks and at the end of the 8 weeks if I felt that I could still use them it would be up to me and the owners to decide if we put them on full time. During the 8 weeks they were there they gained experience in the workplace and I was able to have help that I might not have had otherwise. Also they pay was provided through Goodwill, not my company’s payroll During the 8 weeks. All I had to do was keep a sheet of the hours they worked and the times that they were on their 15 minute break and hour lunch. Their counselor would come by on Fridays to pick up the sheet(s) and we would sit down for about 30 and go over the week
Found what we needed.
Goodwill prices are getting to be ridiculous.
Used to be an amazing deal on nearly everything, now it’s crazy just how much they charge for stuff THAT THEY RECEIVE FOR FREE…100% PROFIT on their goods received from donations. I can get a lot of stuff for not much more at a store elsewhere and it’s brand new!!!
I love Goodwill, but y’all have got to reevaluate those prices!!!
It’s a decent place to find a suit, or a dress for job interview, but in my opinion way too expensive for donated products. The staff is friendlyish.
Horrible experience at good will. Manager on duty was very snobby and rude, one should never treat customers in that way. I was completely misinformed on the return policy by GOODWILL ASSOCIATES the night of my purchase. I spent $150.00. Expecting for the majority of my money to be returned to MY FORM OF PAYMENT, but instead received a gift card for $80.00. Also read other comments with persons having problems w the return policy. LOL.
Hola saludos. Todos los. Lugares para mi. Son. Bonitos. Gracias
18. SMOKESTARS Vape l CBD l Kratom
Address: 111 E May St #50, Winder, GA 30680 , Barrow County , Georgia , United States
Amazing place! They have everything imagine able. Would recommend any and every one.
Very good experience at this store. Very helpful and had everything we needed!
Smoke Stars isn’t one of favorite’s for my own personal reasons…….. HOWEVER, I HAD to go in today to the store in Winder because I was out of juice. APRIL, was the young lady that helped me out and she was amazing! Her customer service was great and she helped me until I got exactly what I wanted! She deserves to be with the best!
Really nice place, very clean. Cashier guy definitely needs some training in customer service. He was kinda rude and didn’t want to help me find a certain flavor of juice. Kinda disappointed that y’all don’t offer CDL holders a discount since I’ve been to 30+ stores around the country and everyone else does.
I bought a battery for carts yesterday. I took it home and it would not work. I brought it back today with the recipe and they would not take it back. They stuck me with a device that would not work. I have bought batteries that did not work and the vap shop changed it out. They just lost a client.
April 6 2020. I went this morning and the young man there not only used the F word a lot but also over charged me for my liquid. I go to smoke stars over any other place in Winder for the customer service and prices. I got the fruit monster blueberry raspberry lemon that’s usually $13 and was charged $22 for it. Was not happy this morning.
Had a bad experience at this wack store. I suggest Smoke and Vape right down the road, now they carry a vast and cheap variety of basically everything. Smoke and Vape in Winder W. May Street.
19. East Coast Customs
Address: 203 E May St, Winder, GA 30680 , Barrow County , Georgia , United States
Amazing customer service, outstanding product and installation knowledge, and great deals. I travel over an hour out my way shop with them and it’s worth it! Thank you!
East Coast Customs did a great job stripping off the old tint and re-tinting our car. The job was completed in the time and at the price I was told, and the car looks great. Highly recommended.
Best work and great pricing. I traveled back from Toccoa Ga to have my truck stereo changed out and new speakers installed. The do it Right!!!!
Thanks Guys
Really good store. Certified Alpine dealer. .
Window tinting was good. Price was about average. Customer service wasnt that great. Felt like a burden.
I would have really been empressed if they cleaned all the glass. But excellent work, considering the technical problems they had to deal with.
I had had some work done here in the past. I tinted the windows in my 2006 mazda 3. I also had a head unit in my 2003 Infiniti. So when my dad wanted to install a stereo system in his 1968 gtx i sent him here. They sold him an alpine system including a head unit 4 type 2 speakers 2 amps and a 12in subwoofer. The work looked great they hid the headunit in the glove box and amps were mounted behing the back seat. But it did not take long to notice the static. So we call them and bring it back down and drop it off they looked it over and said it was probably a problem with the car. We took it too the mechanic and he couldn’t find anything wrong. So we brought it back again at this point they were very rude and condescending complained about all the money they had lost having to take time too look at the car again and they asked us not to come back problem still unresolved. We had spent alot of money on this system. So we took it to a different shop in duluth where they found not only was the head unit grounded to the dash not the chassis and also both amps were improperly grounded together and too the trunk top instead of the chassis. All these ground problems lead to the out puts on the back of the head unit burning up. So finally the problem is resolved and the car sounds crystal clear no thanks to east coast customs. I would not recommend these guys to anyone it may have looked good but who want to pay to fix this stuff multiple times.
Made an appointment there to have my boat stereo installed. Got a price and took it on the appointment date. I end up having to work the day my boat needed to be there so had a friend take it. So when he was on his way I contacted them to let them know and asked where he needed to park it. They said we are gonna have to cancel your appointment because they took too much work in so they couldn’t get it done. So the owner Jimmy gets on the phone and said to make my customer happy I will do your boat if I have to stay until 12 tonight. I said I don’t want to do that to you I can just take it somewhere else. He said no I will get it done. So the next day I get a phone call from Jimmy saying he couldn’t do it. He was gonna let another guy do it. Down the street. Highly recommend him. Needless to say the worse place I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I’ve sent several of my family members to east coast customs. Then the first time I use them what a disaster. My boat is in worse shape than when I dropped it off. So now I have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. I only got 4 speakers installed it was supposed to be 6. The sub rattles when you turn it up and the cover to the radio is falling off. Well was trying to give Jimmy another chance made another appointment. To get my windows tented. Needless to say. This place is a joke. Don’t see how he stays in business. I will make sure anyone that ask me for audio or tenting do not use them. Poor customer service. I did buy 4 speakers after the last bad service. Had them installed by someone else
East coast customs did a good job on my mustang a while back hooking everything up. I’ll give em’ that, but they were over priced and the workers acted like you were a burden to their day. I’ve called them on day asking if they could hook my subwoofers up for me I only have one day off I said and then I won’t be able to do this for a few months. The guy on the phone told me to come up there around noon. I showed up at the shop at exactly at noon to be turned away because he said it was to much work and he wouldn’t get a break if he did the work on my car. I told the guy I would pay an extra $100 as a tip and was still turned away. Give it this was a few months ago things may have changed, but they will never have my business again.
20. All Star Music Center
Address: 3981 Athens Hwy, Loganville, GA 30052 , Barrow County , Georgia , United States
My son learning a lot in piano lessons. Best people to associate with.
Superb service with a wicked fast turnaround on a repair job… this place has all you need or want to practice, to play, to excel in the musical arts. Music, instruments, lessons, and repairs. Highly recommend this place…
Always friendly. I browse a lot and that don’t seem to bother anyone. I’ve bought some guitars and amps from them with no issues at all.
Great plce.Friendly staff.
Guy running the store was very helpful and knowlegable.
Great owner; he didn’t perform the type of repair I needed for violin, but he contacted his buddy who made the repairs for less than $80.
Place needs to just close! doubt me, go see what I’m talking about.
I’ve been here 3 times during store hours. nobody at the store go to another shop.
Literally 4:08pm on a Saturday I show up. They were not open. Sign on the door says 10am-6pm. Very disappointed.
