You will love shopping there they have lot’s of good things in
Still the quiet little place I remember from years ago.
Fun! Great prices-
Pretty interesting things
Vast collection of antique items…mom and pop shop which is cool. Particularly you can also get sassy bee honey products. Nice place to visit if you are looking for some decors
Has some great finds!! Staff is fun!
The virtue mask and gaslighting are big here.
0 rating for rip off artist owner with no honesty or integrity!
The absolutely most unprofessional staff owner I have ever dealt with. I purchased an antique lamp brought it back asked if I could kindly get an exchange??? Glass in molding wouldn’t hold. Unable to be re wired and for a lousy $50 lamp//owner
gave me the complete runaround;,Lied to me Spoke to me as if I was a child. HONESTLY: it was the most sad experience I’ve ever had ia store and I would No51lever recommend to anyone because it gave me complete anxiety feelings of not being good enough to handle in a professional manner I felt exploited and treated unfairly and this is my personal opinion and it is my personal experience but I’ve never had an experience like that at any antique/vintage/goodwill store in my life
The manager Tom is unbelievable and very knowledgeable.
Sales associates helped me find what I was looking for in my price range.
Excellent customer service I went to sell items that I had that were no longer needed and they were very helpful and I got a great price for what I was selling
First time guitar buyer and generally had a good experience at Guitar Center. It was 7 days before Christmas and the store was hopping for obvious reasons.
Prior to going I looked on line at the inventory to help decide what I wanted. When we got there the guitar (pictured) was on the wall.
Because of Christmas is was tough to get someone to assist, especially with a first time buyer that had a lot of questions and inexperience.
After about 10 minutes I approached an employee at one of the sales desks and he was polite and said he would help when he finished the transaction he was working. Within a couple minutes he came over asking what I was interested in. He listened and offered a few suggestions including a very versatile Fender amp over the much more expensive one I was initially looking at. He explained it would give me a lot of options without having to invest in dozens of pedals as a beginner.
He pulled the guitar down and had a
Tech check it out to make sure it was ready to go. I asked about strings and he threw in a free set.
As a first time buyer I appreciated his support and consideration of different technologies. He was great the entire time and offered some suggestions for classes (I live over an hour from their store so weekly trips was out of question).
Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that it is very difficult to get someone to help, even standing up by the main desk at the front door. I know staffing is short but if I wasn’t able to find someone to help they would have lost an $800 sale.
My son is taken guitar lessons
Seems to be one of the only Guitar Centers in Delaware. Was pretty busy and the staff seemed tired and ready to go home. It was later in the day, so I will give them that. We rented some speakers and the transaction was very smooth
Every time I go there, there is nobody in the drum center,,,,- except total chaos, 2 to 3 people slamming the drums as hard as they can- when you do get somebody to help you it’s from the guitar center and they’re upset they have to pick up the slack of the incompetent workers in the drum center-I recently bought a drum set there I managed to get one question asked because we were screaming at each other to hear over the chaos in the back room it took over an hour to buy a drum set because none of the kiosks ever work either- go to Sam Ash will match the deal there ,,,,and they have adequate staff to answer any questions
I’ve never had a bad experience with this guitar center until my last visit. I went to go buy a Martin acoustic guitar. Upon checkout they told me all their models were floor models. I told them thats fine give me the best one you have available. Employee comes back after less than 2 minutes. Knew I shouldn’t have trusted him so this is probably my fault I purchased the guitar went home to instantly discover the 12th fret has a dead note and the entire neck is slightly warped. Unbelievable… I went back took over an hour and a half to get an employee. Employee states “I didn’t even think to check the 12th fret who would??” They ordered a new one and I was on my merry way. Putting this up as a warning, check the guitar you want to buy carefully these guys working here don’t know anything or maybe just don’t care about what they’re selling.
Okay – the store is new and big and has lots of great stuff. But I stood around for 30 minutes today waiting for a little help. I was ready to pluck down $900 for a PA System (for my keyboards), but no one was there to help in keyboards or in the PA Systems area. The store was not at all crowded. I gave up in disgust and just walked out.
8. Wintsch Violins, LLC R. Teal Wintsch
Address: 601 N Market St, Wilmington, DE 19801 , Bellefonte , Delaware , United States
They are very quick to respond to email inquiries and very courteous at all stages of the process. Worth the trip!
Teal adjusted my violin and bow and it really made the sound come alive. A talented luthier that is a true pleasure to work with!
Teal restored 3 violins from the collection at the Sanderson Museum in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
His claim to fame at the Sanderson Museum is an early Suzuki violin, c. 1914 that was discovered in a barn under the hay, in 3 pieces, covered with barn dirt and old rosin.
His skill in restoring the violin so beautifully and virtually invisibly was nothing short of brilliant!
Great service, however quite slow (or unresponsive) to emails.
I took lessons from Charlie when I was a teenager and now playing music with him 10 years later I can say he is the same kind, encouraging, talented artist and teacher. He is incredibly humble for being a master improviser who knows the guitar inside and out. Highly recommend.

15. SqueezeBox Records
Address: 1901 W 11th St, Wilmington, DE 19805 , Bellefonte , Delaware , United States
Rich, the owner, is a solid guy with expansive musical tastes. This great store carries Third Man records, stacks of collectables and deep bargain bins. They have a smallish selection of CDs. Lots of great buys on high-end audio gear ( pre-owned ). Street parking is ample. They host live music from time to time and participate in RSD. You can buy beverages ( non-alcoholic ) there too. Steps away from a nice Grotto place. In short, come for the amazing selection of vinyl and stay for the good conversation and warm atmosphere. Note the logical open hours unlike other Wilmington record stores! Kudos!
World class. Great people, great collection – just go
This place is great! A lot of great selection, and very fair prices. The owner is very friendly and helpful! Will definitely be coming back a lot.
Great selection of music and used stereo equipment ! Very friendly and professional wish it was bigger
Gave me a decent price on my used stereo equipment. Rick is a great guy.
Good service, good selection, and good quality vinyls
Wasted trip. Called a few days ago about servicing a turntable. Gentleman said a $50 fee if they have to send out. Showed up today and although worker had awesome attitude, all answers were “I don’t know” “I’m not sure”. In fact, she apologized for “sounding unprofessional”. Then asked about purchasing a speaker, but she couldn’t help with that either. Very dissatisfied.

Fabulous service!!
Awesome service!!! Great folks!!!
Staff is awsome !
I’ve had good service at this store. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Nothing to write home about, but I did have a nice conversation with two of the guys that worked there and they shared some interesting insights on the manufacturing sales evolution over time, as well as dealing with other countries for business transactions.
Not good…. I am new in town and looking for a new music store and when I arrived here the store was dirty with parts and equipment laying on the ground. Then when I found someone and asked about a mic stand they showed me they only had 1 which was way over priced for a cheap stand then when I went to ask another question I was ignored so I just left… I really wish I could have utilized this store instead of driving to guitar center 🙁
The staff at Accent Music on 202 has little concern with customers needs. I was given every excuse in the book why my item was not ordered from the manufacturer when I could have ordered it myself and gotten it days ago. No tracking #? No ETA? No resemblance of customer service. I’m sure they like to sell things but just not to me.
Ordered a bass amp there a month ago and it still has not come in. We were told it would take 7 business days to get here and every week we go back it’s a new story well this week are getting our money back and going to guitar center where they have always told the truth and we have always received our products promptly !!!!!!!! Sorry but the service there is the worst ever!!!!
