I’m really impressed with Guitar Center! I’ve been to this location a handful of times recently, ever since my 14 year old son just started playing guitar in the spring. Everyone that works there is so laid back, friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. I ordered my son an acoustic/electric guitar on the Guitar Center website for Christmas and just picked it up at this store tonight. The staff was so pleasant and they even helped me load it up in my car since I had my 3 year old little girl tagging along with me. I highly recommend this placed, they have just about everything any musician could ever dream of! I will definitely be back soon!

Sales staff, generally speaking are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. But lo and behold if you go there to sell instruments or equipment. When I went there to sell sound equipment they treated me as if I were a thief. I was finger-printed. When they obtained a good print, the comment was, “this should satisfy the Oakland police.” The sales rep did not act as if he were joking. When they eventually agreed to give me about 20 per-cent of what the equipment was worth, I had to wait nearly an hour to get my money in hand. It was a horrendous experience.

I’ve been here too many times where someone was working a department they didn’t know and had to wait on the one person who knew something who had ten people waiting on them. They show things online as in stock and never have it when I go to the store. It’s big Corp music store but at least staff it better or manage the staff better.
Call ahead to see if the item you want is in stock. It probably isn’t.
I came in to buy a higher-end acoustic Martin R Gibson and not one time did they offer any help but I did come into the room three times where I was by myself to remind me to pull my mask up to which I complied. I left and came back later to purchase the guitar and leave as quickly as possible but the young man who did not know anything about strings proceeded to give me a speech of how he was protecting me from myself by having me wear the mask when I was in the room alone he basically talked me out of buying the guitar they have the corner on the market now since they put all the other small mom-and-pop stores out of business used to be there were two or three music stores in any town now there’s only Guitar Center

Mike is very talented! He fixed my Kala California Blond 5 string fretless U-Bass. The string tree screws were stripped right out if the wood and he removed the Thundergut strings and replaced them with steel.
Excellent service, creative and thoughtful problem solver, super friendly and easy to work with, and a pillar of professionalism. Oh, and he charges a reasonable price Simply couldn’t ask for more — he went above and beyond and I won’t take my instruments to anybody else
I’ve never been in a Studio before, but I really take music as my fashion. I don’t know what does it feel been in a studio? I wish I had friends that can help me make a beat, unfortunately I don’t have anyone to teach me how to make music!

I was skeptical but I’m glad I ordered here. Got a rare album delivered to me in Canada , in time for Christmas and it only look a week and a half! Customer service was kind and reassuring as I was nervous. And overall I’m extremely satisfied. Aswell, the packaging was great the album is in perfect condition.

I’ve sent a couple emails on a record I ordered and haven’t gotten a response, I had heard that Bes vinyl was Great! But i’m really starting to wonder?
I ordered a record for a Valentine gift and paid extra for expedited shipping. I have had zero response as far as a status update. I have sent an email and tried via social media and still no response. I wanted to support a smaller business during these times. HELLO?!

No customer service. Big fan of the music and groups..just wish they cared enough about their fans and would answer inquiries and product support questions. Highly disappointed in this label/organization.
