Tony is really awesome and helpful!!! He will always go out of his way to help you! Excellent customer service from him and the rest of the guys. Every time I go in he always makes sure to answer any questions. I’ve gone to alot of guitar centers and this one is definitely the best! I appreciate the great help! Also they will check to make sure you’re getting the best price available. Platinum room is awesome! Thank you guitar center for all the great gear!
Excelente e barato.
My son just loves this store. We have been coming here since it first opened from Melbourne . Great selection of music equipment. He spends practically the whole day their while I go look around at other stores. He is now 24 years old and still enjoys making the trip over there.,
Went in wanting a specific thing and couldn’t find it (it was brand new to the market). Took around 10-15 mins to find someone to help me. When I did get assistance, it was fast, informative, and helpful.
Good selection of gear, okay prices and just okay service.
Visited the store yesterday and service was a little slow, but they were very busy so it was understandable. This store seems to have a lot of bad reviews for customer service and I have to say that I’ve been going here for years and their service did take a dip in quality but it seems to be getting noticeably better. Also wanted to give a shout out to Marcus, an excellent, friendly, and helpful sales rep. The only reason the store loses a star, in my opinion, is because the gear on display isn’t always in the best condition or as good as other guitar centers I go to, but even this issue is much better than it used to be.
Lazy sales men standing around talking.! Not one offered to come over and help. No customer service skills. When I finally got someone he was very unaccomadating
February 22 830 pm over 6 customer waiting and 1 guys on the store and je was lost!!!!!!!!!hate this place -alway have to wait extra time
to found employee today the guys on the register to charge 2 set of string and I only buy one set , always is a problem
Horrible. How many bad stories can I put on here? Let me just say I will never buy anything from here again. Ok, one story: We wanted a specific set of speakers that they didn’t have in stock. The sales rep said that we can order them and they ship to our house. They charged us for brand new with the price of brand and sent a B-stock item with scuffs, scratches and signs of use. I called the store and they told me to bring it in and they would exchange. The store is an hour drive round trip. This would make the second trip to the store for one speaker. When I arrived with the item, I was ignored for 45 minutes waiting for one of them to assist me. This was the last penny that I spent there. I don’t appreciate being treated like dog dung when spending a grand on new gear. That was just one bad experience. I had others as well but I think one can get the point.
3. Parramore Music
Address: 304 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Great place to get your instruments. Not only are they friendly and knowledgeable, but the value is unmatched. Chris will set your guitar or bass up for free when you buy it, they give lifetime service on the instrument. Compared to others who charge you for every little thing, this can’t be undervalued. I will use them as my first choice for any of my future instrument purchases.
Great music store
The staff as well as the instructors are outstanding persons. I enjoy each visit with them and hopefully I’ll be on the covers of rolling Stone soon
Some good pianos at reasonable prices
Friendly service, not always trying to get you to buy something which is a big plus, and experienced staff.
Nice place
I brought my guitar in for minor pickup wiring. 7 days later they hadn’t touched it. I came back to get it and I wasn’t given a reason or an apology.
Dont say you buy old musical equipments, if a 63 year ventage trumpet is not worth any thing more than a head shake and disrespectfull knowladge.
I would really love to give this place five stars, but… The thing is, even though they have a fabulous selection of guitars, (and I DO mean FABULOUS! After, all, I bought my Yamaha that’s in the pawnshop right now here, and I’m fabulous af ) they don’t have a fabulous way of treating people that look like me. Every time I walk in this place, the long-haired dude is so weird. You can just tell he’s waiting for me to pocket something so he can rush to the front and lock me in! Like, dude, I paid cash for one of your overpriced, mass- produced workhorse-guitars. I’m not gonna swipe some maracas while your back’s turned. I don’t even want to shop here anymore, which sucks because Guitar Center is hella far, but at least they don’t make me feel like I’m not welcome.
4. Marion Music
Address: 4970 Stack Blvd #B3, Melbourne, FL 32901 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, large product selection new and used
I have never been there but the fact that he can put a smile on someone’s face. Hey, it is four stars from me.
Nice people
Went there to buy a music book with classic country songs. Found one that fit the need and purchased it. They have lots of instruments and things for all the needs of a musician. If you are a musician I’m sure they can supply your needs.
This place is a rip off….cost me 60 dollars to have my 12 string worked on and when I got it home the electronics still didn’t work and when I complained about it all I got was a runaround. They wanted 150 dollars to replace the pre amp in the guitar and I told then no way. I went on ebay and bought the pre amp for $8.83 and it took me about an hour to fix it. Also the brand new strings they charged me for were all corroded. Beware of this place I will never ever do business with them again. Twice they have ripped me off.
Went in for an acoustic replacement part and the guy gave me a part for another guitar that was close but not right. Being an instrument shop, the guy should know what works and what doesn’t…or at least what to look for, for compatibility. It’s no big deal that I wasted the time and money…it’s the lack of knowledge from their part. I’m going to measure everything myself and order online, cheaper.
Also, come on, guys, every time I’ve gone in there (over 9 years) it’s always the same…dirty and dusty with a bunch of used unorganized crap everywhere. There are always people just sitting around and talking. I’m all for a cool hang out, but how about getting up off your butts and working your store a little. You have so much room and stuff, clear it out, clean it, and put it back in a better/improved way.
Lastly, your used acoustic guitars are miserable. I understand they’re used…but your prices are high and every guitar I looked at had major issue (cracks in the sound board or missing electronics with gaping holes).
Local shops are being killed by Amazon and the online retailers…you’re not helping to motivate us local musicains to support local shops. You could be the best in Brevard…but you need to do something and better yourselves.
Super nice guys but when I tried to trade my mint esp 1000 deluxe with case and a marshall amp with a footswitch for a $512 takamine acoustic guitar they also told me they wanted 400 bucks. I get they are a business but didn’t know they were trying to straight up butcher me on the trade. On the phone the dude named Mike told Bruce that my ESP is selling for 700. Kinda wrong imo. Nice people though
5. Carlton Music Center
Address: 1902 Harden Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33803 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Support local!! The best service and quality instrument repairs!
A great family atmosphere with great teachers.
Excellent staff
Was told that they do not give their wifi password to customers? Why?
Small but well-stocked family owned store, friendly staff. They didn’t have the guitar I wanted in stock but I am sure they could get it. I will shop here in the future.
Wish I could’ve left zero stars. I guess customer service doesn’t exist anymore. The young girl working the counter seemed overwhelmed and when she asked the longer haired gentleman at repair for help he seemed bothered. Just needed someone to look at my clarinet I have had for 30+ years to make sure it still functioned properly. They said they could send it off to the repair shop!! What a joke. Not sure how ypu work in a music store, but know NOTHING about the instruments.
Their sales associates have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen.
After buying a very expensive clarinet. They would not buy it back after was told they would when I bought it. And it was only used 4 months, so it was in the same shape as it was sold.
6. The Vibe Music Store
Address: 6126 N U.S. Hwy 41, Apollo Beach, FL 33572 , Campbell , Florida , United States
This is such a cool music shop, and I’m really glad I found it online. They offer lessons, so if you have a kid who is interested in music or if you are interested in learning how to play an instrument, this is a great place for you to check out. The employee I talked to was very helpful and laid back. He let me play an $800 acoustic bass guitar, which was very cool He was very friendly and did not try to sell me anything, which was refreshing. This store has a lot of very high-quality instruments for sale, but they also have cheaper instruments for beginners or people with smaller budgets. Overall, if you are a musician, just interested in learning how to play an instrument, or looking to purchase some musical equipment, this is an excellent store! Make sure you check the store hours before you go there, since they close early (5-7pm most days), and I believe they are currently closed on Sundays and Mondays. I highly recommend this local treasure of a music store!
Nice people, good vibe. My kids are playing piano beautifully bc of Justin…highly recommended
Great little shop!!! Cool instruments!
Doti and Terry are wonderful! I love family friendly small businesses.
Been there 3 times at a normal hr after work at around 3-4 pm. Every time door was locked 2 times saw someone inside who did not come to the door. I was ready to purchase a new guitar with. Cash in hand each time. Also get my drum kit repaired. So willing to spend quite a bit of cash. So disappointed. Closest store to me. My money went elsewhere.i will not step foot in this place if the doors are open.
We have left three voicemails in the last week to see about music lessons for my child and not once have they returned a call. No one ever answers the phone. Doubtful they can stay in business with these practices. We won’t be calling again.
turned away because i refused to wear a face diaper. when you want to return to reality, I’ll happily come in for a guitar lesson. Thanks.
7. Leesburg Music
Address: 1607 US-441, Leesburg, FL 34748 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Amazing store! Wonderful owners very knowledgeable and helpful. Wide variety of selections on many items. Looking forward to many future visits!
Love Joel and his crew. Been buying sticks and drums / accessories here forever!!!
Was good hadn’t been in there on 3 years come along way
Great service and great people. Highly recommend.
Nice little music shop! Their in-store selection primarily covers the beginner-intermediate range, with many b-stock guitars at reduced prices. Good deals on amplifiers, good selection of mid range basses and guitars. Great deals on amplifiers — considered an SVT350H that they had in stock. Will definitely go back and keep checking the place out every so often!
Rude staff who didn’t seem to be interested in my business. I won’t be back.
Lack communication skills and people skills
We called before making the 45 minute trip to purchase a guitar, strings and a case, only to be turned away because I brought my little service dog. It was 88 degrees so she did not have her Service Dog Vest on. I offered to go back to the car to put it in her. That wasn’t good enough. We were there less than 2 minutes. I had brought my 16 year old foreign exchange student there and he sure got a whiff of good old American culture today.
So embarrassing. Shame on them on all accounts.
8. Guitar Haven
Address: 1873 S Patrick Dr, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Very professional personel. I went there to repair a puertorican cuatro because everywhere I went before told me it was beyond repair. They took their time but when finished it was just like new and the sound was perfect, my son is using it and loved it.
Good for a nise cheap gutier
Bought my Taylor acoustic guitar here and love it
Howe spent tons of time with us to ensure my son found the perfect guitar and amp. He put together a bundle of guitar, amp, and a Vamp…if you are looking to get an instrument, go to this place! Years of experience to help you is priceless.
t
Good time talkin’ shop with the owner(s)!
did an ok job setting up my strat. Not a fabulous job but not a bad job.
I am not that pleased with their general attitude they always try to pass off the cheaper products to me. I would rather go to a music store that tries to educate me rather than one that tries to benefit from any stupidity I may have.
Tiny little place, not much to see unless you’re looking for overpriced foreign knockoffs
i called and asked about a guitar hook and the guy on the phone didnt even know what it was i had to explain to him what it was and i asked about a tuner for a special guitar and he said that it was the same tuning just an octave apart and that octave in the type of guitar has to be precise im not going to call or go there for my guitar needs.
9. Music & Arts
Address: 4676 Millenia Plaza Way, Orlando, FL 32839 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Went to this store for the first time today and was helped by Trista. Their safety protocol during COVID-19 was diligent and thorough with masks and social distancing required and plenty of signage advising against touching merchandise. I felt very safe. I bought a short-scale Ibanez bass while I was there, and Trista offered to clean and restring the bass for free! She also went the extra mile to be friendly by learning my name and calling me by name during our conversations. I would highly suggest this store to friends and will absolutely be back.
Great staff at this store. They’re helpful and attentive. My kids take lessons at the store so we are in every week. While I wait for my kids to complete their lessons I have time to observe there interactions with the other customers. The sales staff are genuinely friendly to every customer. They are patient and caring. When talking with the staff its obvious the enjoy there jobs, and they also have a love for music.
Excellent customer service from all the staff!! Kind and patient and knowledgeable and enthusiastic 10/10
Would give them 5 but their shipping sucks
Tienen confianza en el cliente y lo dejan que busquen lo que desean, buena atencion y tienen variedad.Deben buscar un lugar mas amplio.
The staff was very helpful in answering my questions even though they didn’t have a Cello my son’s size in stock it was a very informative visit
Terrible, terrible service through the years. I have my daughter’s instrument rented with them, did the same for my son a couple of weeks ago and 2 weeks have passed and he still has no instrument. His teacher hasn’t been easy on that, and the only thing they tell me after waiting almost 30 minutes on the phone for someone to pick up (third day trying to call), is that I have to wait (!!!!!). There is no communication, nothing. They don’t update, they don’t send anything. If you have nothing to do and are lucky enough for someone to pick up, you MIGHT stand a chance. Just cancelled because I don’t want anything to do with them again.
I signed my daughter up for beginner violin lessons and out of 8 weeks of lessons 3 were cancelled – one of them we sat and waited for 25 min before they said the teacher wasn’t coming. I understand that emergencies happen once in a while but it turned out to be way more of a hassle to try to schedule make up classes or get my money back. Very unreliable and disappointing.
Also many times I was told I would receive a phone call about make up lessons or refunds and I always ended up having to reach out to figure out what was going on. Would not recommend for their lessons services!
Even of you email them they won’t tell you how much it is to put some simple cork on a clarinet. They’re going to make you go all the way to the Damn store so they can over proce you.
10. Island Music

Great people, great service, knowledgeable and fair pricing
Bought my son his first acoustic guitar here. The 2 gentlemen were so kind and knowledgeable. Thanks for your help!
Exceptional customer service !
Really knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are great too.
Sam WILL take care of you!
Kinda over priced if you ask me!
No part that I needed said they could get it it’ll take about two weeks I order to myself up on Amazon and already got it sorry sorry customer service
Has quite a few instruments for the size. Has a recording studio for what that’s worth. I’ve heard some of the noise that come out of there??
Don’t expect any service though. I think the average age of the employees is about 17. And of course they are all Woke and don’t have a clue. Didn’t see any Quota Hires? So if your buying strings or picks you should be good. I really tried hard to buy a guitar there a couple years ago. Ended up ordering a Taylor from Taylor because they wouldn’t. To lazy I guess?
ENTER AT OWN RISK
Dropped off hubbys fender said would be done in few days…went back in one week nothing done didnt even order part…gave another week still nothing done no part even ordered. Just picked up guitar will go to sam ash. Lost a customer.
11. Music & Arts
Address: 1673 WP Ball Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771 , Campbell , Florida , United States
I recently decided to pick up a hobby and went to this location and met with Marc. He was extremely informative and spent a lot of time making sure I had the right equipment needed to begin practicing guitar. He was very knowledgeable and he really made me feel conformable in my buying decisions. I have since referred a few of my friends to this location because of him. I am really glad I chose this location because dealing with Marc made me wish that there were more people like him in a general buying experience.
Brought my son guitar here to be restrung great people
Took my son in because he needed new strings. I know nothing about guitars, so I called and I spoke with Aaron who was very knowledgeable and decided we’d go. Niko was super sweet and very helpful. Everyone that came in and out while we were there looked happy and Niko spent a good amount of time with my son going over everything and was truly helpful. This will be our music store from here on out. Thanks again!!
They would not return some unopened items we purchased while trying out an instrument. I had to return for a manager and push to get some of the items returned. All I wanted was credit toward a different instrument and even that was a challenge. Make sure you want to keep what your buying.
I’ve purchased two guitars from here so far. They don’t have a huge selection, but the prices are reasonable.
The 2nd one I got from this store was on clearance and they even knocked some off that, giving me a better deal than I could have gotten online for the same guitar,
They sell flutes, do flute repairs, offer flute lessons but their selection of flute music is very limited.
After calling and ensuring Music and Arts had clarinets for rent, when I arrived at the store, I was told that they haven’t had any for several days. Worse, when mentioning the fact that I called ahead, the employee disputed me on what I had actually asked on the phone: “you asked me if we EVER rent clarinets, not if we had any to rent right now!” Then went back to playing with a guitar for sale.
In conclusion, I was able to find the instrument and service I needed from another Central Florida music store; I doubt music and arts will get a second chance from me.
My child and I went here first before going to another local music store on recommendation. I dont usually post bad reviews but thought i must for anyone else having their child starting band. This place will try and pressure you into trying to buy whatever it is they have to sell for the week. the employees are rude and wont give you the time of day if you are there with just questions. not to mention the arrogance felt from them. save yourselves the time and find another store.
I don’t know what happened to this store, I’m guessing management changed. But, this store is not friendly anymore. I do not like shopping here like i used to. The layout is awkward now. You do not get greyed when you walk in all the employees look bored and tired and when asked a question they seem to get annoyed that they have to get off their phone or computer. I rather go to another store where at least i don’t feel like I’m an intrusion.
12. Wholesale Music Instruments
Address: 3000 W New Haven Ave, West Melbourne, FL 32904 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Beautifully organized shop. The staff seemed very knowledgeable in voice audio. Highly recommend.
Great place to purchase a guitar! They showed me what is best for me.
Great music store!
Knowledgeable
Live music? Wow
Came looking for a case for an odd-sized guitar, found a live sit-in jam session, how delightful.
Owners were friendly and knowledgeable. My case was out of stock, he was happy to order more in. All in all, a great little shop.
Gene and…Kevin? are cool guys. I get a bit of a push-to-sell vibe from Gene, but that’s no surprise. Got to make money to eat and grow the business. Wish they had a proper luthier in-store and maybe a sound test room, but lot of good selection for merchandise.
Old guy was not knowledgeable at all about instruments or pricing and was being extremely pushy to sell telling me his higher prices were actually great bargains overall a very uncomfortable buying experience and not consumer friendly he told me a horn was worth 1k used but he was willing to cut me a deal of 500 turns out the horn is worth around 500 brand new
Rude, overpriced and racist. Avoid.
I went in today to purchase some bass strings. They only had one brand to select from called Hi-Beams. He also stated that “bass strings now are ranging anywhere from $40-$70”. This is absolutely absurd. I’ll go on Amazon and purchase Ernie Balls for $17.
I actually came back to this place to give them a second chance, and still had a terrible experience. Taking a look at the Google responses from the owner too, it looks like he can’t take criticism to improve his business. I’ll continue shopping at Wickham Road Music and on Amazon. Thanks anyways.
13. All About Music Sales and Service
Address: 4043 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609 , Campbell , Florida , United States
This is a great little place! I went in to have strings put on my guitar. I know nothing about the instrument, and they were so helpful and friendly. The guitar is so dusty, and they said they would clean it up for me! Looking to take lessons soon, too! Thanks Guys!!!
Great store.
Scott is a real down to earth guy and willing to work with you. Kudos
my store of choice for instruments and supplies, good deals on equipment
Employees were friendly and knowledgeable
Good repair of my Gibson j45
Called about picking up some guitar strings said they had them. Told them im sending my dad right now he said great……Oh but they closed within 10 mins..Just more trash liars…FOff
Peter is the nicest guy you could want to work with. His prices are ridiculously low for the quality of the work . The set up he did on my tele was amazing. I will literally never let anyone else touch my guitars . I drove an hour and a half from Brevard county to take my guitar to him. Plus his pedals are absolutely amazing. Buy an Odie and Ponyboy!!!
Peter Taylor is a luthier WIZARD! He was able to resurrect an 80s Strat neck for me and the result exceeded my expectations in orders of magnitude. His attention to detail and craftsmanship are second to none. This man is a true talent, I cannot overstate his skill. A+, five stars, 100%.
Great craftsmanship and knowledge as well as experience.
15. Matthew Baynes School of Music and Music Central
Address: 605 S 14th St, Leesburg, FL 34748 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Very friendly. Parking is at the end of the line of buildings.
This was a fast and friendly store provided lots of information and gave us a very good deal for my son’s first guitar thank you guys it’s been a real nice guitar for us
Matt was very helpful and the selection is great!
Sold me a broken guitar and the worker literally told me the owner would steal my guitar if I left it for repairs, but then offered to repair it for free. That’s not an exaggeration or misquote. They smoke cigarettes in store, prices are all double what any other store prices at, to even get a price for anything the worker has to attempt to get ahold of the owner Matt which can take hours. I only got my guitar back because I threatened a lawsuit. Seriously this is a horrible business and Matt is the type of guy to go to an open mic and play back to back covers of Wagon Wheel. Too bad he didn’t have the balls to reply to me, none of what I said is untrue and he can’t even bother trying to deny it.
Never paid me for a guitar and case left on consignment. One excuse after another. It’s only $120…they must be struggling…so beware
I brought my amp and speaker cabinet to this store to put on consignment. It is a Mesa Boogie single rectifier. It work perfectly before I brought it there. It didn’t sell and 7 months later I picked it up. Brought it home and I didn’t use it at all for a few months. Tonight someone was coming to buy it. I went to plug it in and no power. Fuse was blown before I even turned it on. Was told by tech that the 6L6 tubes were toast . I had the tubes replaced and p gone over by an expert. Tubes had about 10 hours on them. Obviously someone at this store swapped out. Never going back to this dump EVER!!!!!
16. Wickham Road Music
Address: 4900 N Wickham Rd suite 106, Melbourne, FL 32940 , Campbell , Florida , United States
This is a veteran owned business. They have a large selection of instruments and friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! If you’re not sure what you need, they will help you find a solution within your budget.
Walked in the other day to gather a drum throne, a cymbal stand, and some sticks. In and out and decent pricing. Conveniently close as well!
Four stars because the owner rectified this issue and as far as i know, subsequent customers did not have this problem anymore. Props to you for actually caring!
One star because piano instructor Suzanne is knowledgeable and good instructor overall, so she gets the star. Issue is the owner seems to have an issue in his vocabulary or he is very dishonest. He recently started forcing students to pay a “deposit” equivalent to 2 classes. His excuse, “if you dont show up to class, we use the deposit to pay for the instructor’s time;” however, the classes are PRE-PAID which means, that the class is already paid for. When i argued this with him, he said, “well, we actually use that deposit for two extra classes when you choose to quit.” Well, i already chose to quit, so first of all, why would i want two more classes? an entire month is always PRE-PAID too, so no need for “deposit” since classes have been PAID IN ADVANCE. When i signed up, i told them, i was using 4 classes my mother gifted me. They made her leave a 2 class deposit; even though, again, she had PRE-PAID for the four classes. I told them i was only there for the 4 classes. So when i went to my last class, the owner said, “I dont give back deposits, worse case i could give you store credit.” Hmmm… DEPOSIT??? a deposit is something that is given back subject to terms. In apartment, if nothing is broken at end of lease, deposit is given back, in a car rental if the car is not damaged, etc. He is forcing people to prepay every month, AND prepay two classes that they have to take when they no longer want to take classes. Completely dishonest, misleading and rude.
Has some good stuff, but not a great selection. Very cheap or very expensive not much middle
Nice place. A lil on the pricey side. They have good, knowledgable sales people. My complaint deals with their service. Maybe it was just my luck, but I brought in an item to get serviced and was told I would get a call when it was done cuz it had to be sent out. I did not get a call. Later..2 days after I was told it would be done.. I went to pick it up. It was finished, but due to me being in a hurry, i didnt fully check out the item before I left the store. I got home and found some problems with what was supposed to be fixed. I was able to fix most of the issues myself.. I’d consider going elsewhere if you need something like a guitar setup done..
Workers are nice, but owner has interesting policies. My wife and I had been customers for years, but we recently purchased a used tascam recorder for $250 from this place. Took it home, tested it out and found some internal issues. Brought it back only to find out, NO REFUNDS. Lesson learned: BUY ALL MUSIC EQUIPMENT ONLINE. Even eBay has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This local store should have stood by its product. Instead, they lost a customer for life.
Hours on their website and on their store front say they are open until 8pm. Drove over and arrived there at 6:15pm and they were closed. No explanation why they were closed early. Holiday closing dates listed on the store front sign did not include this date. Wasted time. Should have called first.
Went in to spend $2000 on a guitar. They were blasting crappy music so loudly that I couldn’t hear myself. Also, there was a hippy sitting indian style in the floor eating–right in the way, completely oblivuous to the fact that she was blocking off the walkway in front of all the guitars. I turned around and left, and won’t be coming back.

Great family company that supports non profit organizations! Professional and quick turn around.
Gino and Lisa are 2 of the nicest people you’ll do business with and their products are high quality!
Jessica Bella and I are super impressed with the owner’s ambition and professionalism. We are excited to develop this relationship. 5-star first impression for sure.

Address: 1408 Highland Ave, Melbourne, FL 32935 , Campbell , Florida , United States
Amazing Customer Service! My son needed a music book that was not in stock anywhere, including The Horn Section, and we needed it yesterday. Scott was able to have it delivered the next day and we were so grateful! We have been doing business with them for many years, they are fabulous!
Great service
Nice customer service. Knowledge and helpful.
Apprehensive staff and good inventory. This place is great for supplying up for school band stuff
Pricey
Great rentals, they take good care of the instruments.
First of all, they need to extend their store hours for 2 weeks during August when students are renting instruments. I went on a Saturday and the line was over an hour-long. Secondly, a week later, I tried to return a still sealed, unopened package of reeds to the store and was told they were non-returnable, even though their website specifically says, “The following items are returnable only if defective or unopened or unused: strings, reeds, tubes…” I’m going to ask my child’s band director to consider recommending a different local business for music needs next year.
You’d think when you’re paying $25 a month for a used plastic clarinet you’d at least get decent customer service. I was told that my clarinet, that had been damaged and sounded awful since the moment I opened it, was extremely damaged (obviously) and when she asked what I did to it I told her I had no idea as I’d barely played it and it was this way when I opened the case when I received it. She then told me “Think hard honey because all our instruments are shipped in perfect condition.” Clearly untrue. I will not be giving business to this company again. Very overpriced and rude.
Edit:
As I’m reading through others reviews I see many people have had this same issue with the same woman I had an issue with. I hope the owner notices this and takes proper action.
Never open even though it’s normal business hours. Never returns phone calls. The men that work there are friendly, but the female is rude. Will over charge your credit card on random days. Then instead of refunding will harass you, even at work for more money.

Always pleasant and helpful. Even when I only buy a $2.00 manuscript paper book and spend a half hour looking at used instruments
This place has been where my husband spends his money other than fishing. We’ve bought multiple drum kits Tama starclassics to be Excact. And Meinl cymbals! The staff is outrageously awesome!

Was disappointed to get to the store and find out the item they had listed on the website was a pre-opened box that was missing a cotter pin for the mirrored ball. The price tag said 59.99, the website said 71.39, and two days after I had called about it and driven an hour to get there, the new price was 79.99. They did knock of the price a little due to the missing piece and condition of the packing went ahead and got it because the kids needed it for the upcoming disco quiz.
Great staff. Very willing to help.
Sick of being faithful and getting treated like I’m in a pawn shop. I’ve spent at least 12k in last few years. Needed a new pedal for a gig so I brought one in I just purchased for $129 to work a trade or credit towards purchase and the salesman says let me talk to the manager ……..2 minutes later he says , hey man we can give $20 bucks if that helps. No it doesn’t help.I’m done with you!
I’ve been going to Sam Ash about a year i used to love Sam Ash. they really let me down I had walked in and paid for a restring I met someone name is Jerry. When I went to pick it up, my Wammy bar was messed up and the nut of the guitar was out of place. I told the other employees and they said “jerry shouldn’t be working on left handed instruments” they offered to fix the mistakes for free. 2 days later I pick up my guitar everything looks perfect. I go to play I do a bend and the nut is not glued to the guitar. Sliding right back to where it was before as shown in the pic below. When I go to the music store to have my guitar restrung, I expect to be in good hands. Since I’m paying you to do it. This has Been the worst experience I have ever had with a company
So, everytime i enter this store, they check package, today i walk behind a caucasian couple and kids, and they did not check there package, also I waited 20 minutes before anybody approached me and family. On my way out the store, my receipt was check and sign, again a caucasian young couple standing at the same counter was not. “And that’s all I have to said about that”
