I had a piano sitting in storage after being moved several times over the years. Some of the keys would no longer play from being moved.
Gene fixed those and tuned the piano. He is very knowledgeable and skilled. I would recommend him highly to anyone needing piano work done.
He turned my Grandma’s Piano years ago. He is truly amazing Piano tuner/most experienced Piano tech of Piano technicians. He is very friendly. He tunes all Pianos at the Piano Celebration in North Park Mall in Davenport. The most amazing he does restoration/rebuilds Pianos.
I would give 6 stars out of 5 if I was allowed!! Gene is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and an all around great guy! He just left my home after meeting him and using his services for the first time and I’m beyond satisfied!! I would recommend him to everyone and will be using him for any future services I need. Without question the best choice for anyone looking for services or tunings!

Very good environment and very friendly and professional staff
Tayvian and the ES Sounds team were great to work with and made booking studio time convenient and affordable. Loved their input while recording. Definitely recommend and will be back!
Look no further! They have the vision. Down to earth, reasonable, and reliable people here. LOVE
7. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 1601 18th Street, Silvis, IL 61282 , Carbon Cliff , Illinois , United States
Had the my pillow that I couldn’t find anywhere else
One of the better Wal-Mart’s illinios side… worth the drive.
It’s all. Good
This Walmart is okay employees not very helpful you can’t find anyone when you need help
I can still find locally made items here.
,
Less friendliness in Moline, IL Walmart compared to Silvis, IL Walmart
Went here for paint for my new home . At the paint department I was told noone had paint I wouldn’t find it anywhere and no they don’t have any. Drove 2 minutes to home depot they had plenty of paint.
Prices out of hand.
This walmart sucks. I needed help in the self check out line because they all down pretty much and the employee just stared at me then walked away
8. Iron + Grain Coffee House
Address: 585 12th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244 , Carbon Cliff , Illinois , United States
First time here. Chia cold oats were yummy! Nice laid back atmosphere with friendly staff. Recommend!
What a lovely space down by the River Bend in East Moline. I’ve had the London Fog, Matcha tea, Lavender something (amazing) Chai latte and other specialty drinks they post about…every single one has been delicious! Today we wanted to enjoy the nice spring weather so we decided to work from their outdoor patio..perfection! We had the Cobb salad and the Hot Ham sandwich both were so delicious. We will be back…it was such a nice environment to work in and we always enjoy any excuse to buy a nice beverage.
Over worked baristas (felt sorry, for them)….a lot of people in line left…servce slow….needs to be cash friendly
Actual rating 4-1/2. Clean, quiet atmosphere with choice of conventional or spacious, comfortable seating! Great breakfast sandwhiches & baked items. Best chai latte I’ve had in the QC! Good fresh ground house coffee! Also have other imported coffee blends.
First time going I tried the matcha lavender latte. It’s a bit pricey but it was delicious and staff were nice. Second visit, ordered the same and no lavender was put in. The employee that helped me that time was very nice and actually remembered me on my next visit and gave my order free of charge as she realized she forgot the flavoring on the prior order. Awesome!
Next visit, helped by someone else, no lavender flavoring again, and now today, could barely taste the lavender so mostly just bitter matcha flavor. Way too expensive of a drink for this kind of inconsistency. $7.00 for a 20oz with a ton of ice and a pressure to leave a tip.
The last three times I came to this business, they were out of stuff. The first time at 9am, they had not received their food yet. We left and ate elsewhere. The second time, same thing. Today my friend and I came just for drinks and again, out of Chai tea (I’m not a coffee drinker). How disappointing! I probably won’t go back now. Three strikes, I’m out.
Cute spot, but friends and I wont return. So much potential with the location but with the prices….it may not last. The sandwich was okay, not great, and the S’Mores cold brew was terrible, and $8. I’m a pretty easy to please coffee fan so I’m surprised that I didn’t like it in the least bit. Will continue to stop at McDonalds or the gas station for better tasting $3 coffees. Otherwise service was great.
2 stars because the price. Over $7 for a SMALL iced matcha! I couldn’t believe it. It was good but not worthy of that price in my opinion. If it was a little cheaper I’d definitely go back but there are plenty of other coffee shops that have better prices.
9. Pawn King
Address: 1125 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244 , Carbon Cliff , Illinois , United States
Other than a mild bit of confusion, all went well.
(remembering ❤ Lonnie Tague)
I DO LOVE to shop at Pawn King East Moline. Small inventory being a plus! No need to rummage through junk. You can always find quality items. Thanks, Pawn King, for the bail-out.
Good place to shop
Great deals
Left me on hold for 30 minutes while they went to find out if they could do a loan on an unlocked phone… then said no because I bought it from metro… the one in rock island accepts metro phones
During my experience with pawn king I was told they have bad merchandise by family members and friends. But I thought it was just them on BS. I chose pawn king cause it was closer and during that time I had purchased a few things out of there that are no longer working.I bought a playstation 4 on January 26, 2017 and i only had it 4 months and it went out. So please tell family and friends they have bad merchandise and the staff is very disrespectful. They won’t allow you to check there merchandise and will get upset when you do. Since I been going there only the black guy been respectful. WORST PAWN SHOP EVER – Lamont Butler
The old bag was rude and dry. Wasn’t polite. I won’t be coming back at all. And one of the employees smelled like pot

miss coming here sm 4 lessons… 🙁
( i miss the kitties 2 )
Mike and Darwin will take care of anything you need, and Dan will set up and maintain your instrument like no other. Super friendly and helpful people, great prices, and they even have a couple of cute and fluffy cats!
Been going to Mike’s for years, it’s a great store with great service. They take good care of their customers / instruments. Thanks to both of you guys! (Dan & Mike)
Nice little pocket shop to pick up some accessories and or a guitar you had no idea was there lol. Drum sticks are decently priced too although limited to two brands. I absolutely love the mascots too!
Nice guy.

Great store with a rapidly expanding inventory of electric and acoustic guitars, amps and accessories. Friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to help you find the perfect guitar.
Great store, friendly staff, wide variety of new and used gear. Huge pedal selection.
I got a 2008 model Taylor 210e here. I absolutely LOVE it!! Tracy Estes does anything he can to take care of all of your guitar/accessory needs!
I was about to purchase a “outa sight white” danelectro ‘59m NOS+ on their reverb that was “open to offers” listed at $479.99. After I made my offer the owner changed the price to $529.99 and told me “so it’s still a good deal”. I showed proof that the guitar was listed on Sweetwater for $479.99. The owner then responded with a different guitar(aged white) listed at $529.99 and could not tell the difference… Overall I felt it was unprofessional to change the price on their reverb right after I put in my offer(my final offer was $465) while the guitar was still listed at $479.99, especially on a guitar that has been open and on display.

Knowledgeable staff, great equipment & accessories
Excellent service very friendly price friendly
Very knowledgeable
Decent selection, comparable prices to the big name stores
Got a bass bag and some strings. Still using the 4 channel mixer/amp I got from them a few years back.
Nice products but bad service. The gentleman at the counter obviously didn’t want us in the store even though it was empty.
Tried to make small talk and the guy wasn’t having it.
I called today to ask about get the action lowered on my guitar. Keep in mind that I am a beginner and don’t know a whole lot about this type of stuff. The person who answered the phone was far from helpful. He was condescending and rude and didn’t answer my questions. Instead he just cackled when I asked clarifying questions and responded with sarcastic answers. I will absolutely NOT be taking my business here and did not appreciate the customer service or lack thereof.
Stinky, dirty place, and not friendly at all.
19. Offbeat Music Store
Address: 3 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047 , Carbon Cliff , Illinois , United States
Best music shop around. Super knowledgeable staff, great inventory, affordable lessons. The owner Jim is the best! Definitely worth checking out and supporting this local shop. Great record selection also!
Jim and Nick are friendly with their Customer
Friendly service. Went in for instrument repair and walked out with vinyl. They have instruments and music lessons.
Support your local music shop.
Music store with a nice selection of instruments. Some vinyl and CDs too, although it has very few, if any, hidden treasures. 2 stars removed because the one employee and 2 of the customers were not wearing masks when I visited. I would have spent more time and money here if they were. Stay safe, everyone.
Friendly people
I was very dissatisfied with this location as they don’t offer any instruments that would allow the user to produce the sounds of Echolocation
20. Front Row Center Music
Address: 1507 N Main St, Benton, IL 62812 , Carbon Cliff , Illinois , United States
Nice cozy little place and the employees seem nice.
Helpful staff, and a lot of great stuff in store. I highly recommend this place!
Had everything I needed in stock
They seam to have what you need. In music supplies.
Has what you need when it comes to musical instruments needs..friendly service and knowledgeable..
The little unknown place with hidden gems!..
Music store that appears to be run out of someone’s house. It smelled like stale cigarettes and was extremely disorganized. The guy running the place seemed to know his music but unfortunately I couldn’t handle the smell of smoke and was afraid that anything I purchased here would likely bring the smell home with me. Very friendly and helpful but this place desperately needs to be aired out.
Nothing in the store was priced. Took the time and found a stack of records I wanted to buy. He said he’d have to go on the internet and price each, one at a time. Gave him about 10 minutes to do that while I shopped. When I was ready to go, he only had one priced, and it was more than twice what it was worth on Discogs. The place was filthy and stinky. So, told him never mind on the records and I would buy the drumsticks and a kick plate. $16.09, fair price. Gave him a $20 and he didn’t have any change. Finally got so frustrated and just left. Don’t waste your time here.
Disorganized and everything is not priced with a tag, you have to ask him to look it up online in order to get a price. You may be there for an hour waiting for him to price each record or instrument you want. You will have better luck going to Guitar Center 20 miles away. Prices were not negotiable as well, just seems like a used music store should be more open minded to pricing and all.
