David Pippin is an extraordinary man . His staff is very professional. The Academy is very welcoming. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking them out .
We love this place! David is very professional but also very laid back making it very comfortable for my daughter. She juggles lots of different activities and he is very accommodating and understanding when we have to make changes sometimes when we meet. I also love how he teaches styles of music that interests her. I just wish we had started with him a year ago.
My daughter loves Pippin Music Academy! She takes vocal lessons with Bekah. She is very patient and a great teacher. I highly recommend Pippin Music Academy.

Great store and selection. Everything is extremely well organized. They sell all genres of new and used vinyl, CDs, DVDs, posters, turntables, stereo equipment and more. You can honestly spend hours here, and there are good deals to be found in the back room full of “budget” vinyl.
Amazing selection of vinyls. Friendly staff! Will defy come back!!
Has all the 70sn80s music? Plus sales record players n older stuff.
This is one of my favorite places to buy records. Not only do they have albums from all time periods, they have soundtracks and fun records (like The Muppets) as well. Not to mention their vast collection of 45s.
I also really like the decor. It’s obvious they spent a good amount of time on exposing the natural brick of the old space, not only showing the age of the building, but adding to the vintage vibe. They also have an entire wall dedicated to famous musicians and singers, hand-painted by a local artist.
Lastly, the employees are always very nice, welcoming, and happy to help. I have some knowledge of record players and vinyl, but they still help broaden that (without making me feel dumb). They also play records that broadcasts throughout the store and outside the door, and they display the current album they’re playing.
The only critique about this place is that some of the album rows are too tightly packed, so you really can’t look through all that is there without pulling them all out. Otherwise, you’ll be head-pressed to find a better local record store.
Store is getting better, has a lot more selection than it did the last time I was there.
This store has great potential yet they constantly ruin it by putting records out w/writing & sharpie coloring on lp jackets & asking $12.00- $22.00 for it!
or putting an lp out w/ NO COVER @ all & attempting to charge $9.00 for it, like the Alice Cooper lp pictured, I have repeatedly brought this to the attention of different clerks working, it is no mistake, A sad sad pracitice that is unacceptable.
On the other hand or + side, the store has a lot of new reissue albums that are comparatively priced to other record stores.
if you live in the area it’s worth visiting for that.
The store is very clean, & has a restroom available to customers.
The clerks are all friendly and nice.
The used records are absolutely overpriced and in rough condition mostly, most of the time there’s a lot of duplication in the stock, 5 or 6 copies of the Same album and again condition.
I understand stores must possess more than one copy of the Same album but usually the process involves choosing the best copy and putting it out for customers ( keeping back stock elsewhere) this store seems to just slap whatever they have out with a big price tag on it.
a little bit of attention could turn this place into a decent record store.
I have taken graffiti records to the cash register shown them to the clerks, brought it to their attention hoping they would do away with it, giving them the benefit of a doubt that it is an honest mistake, the clerk’s told me that they would “inform the owner” and take care of it, but when I go back to the store the graffiti albums are back out for public consumption.. this practice is a big turn-off for me and makes me not want to visit this store.
absolutely awful handling of RSD 2023. Guy in front of us bought multiple records and was literally reselling it at an upcharge in line behind us

Google maps takes me off I-75 southbound at 140 in Adairsville then takes me on a tour of very small roads thru Bartow County en route to Carrollton, Ga. Not fun considering i was pulling a travel trailer. This happens way too often. I’ll be looking for a new map app.
