Not friendly place coffee house and ice cream shop .was not greeted when we entered the store there were only 2 customer’s and I was very disappointed they only had coffee no sodas ect. It was very jot outside.
Excellent coffee shop, equal to any big city coffee shop or chain coffee restaurant. Superior ingredients and made by a very skilled barista. The pastries were homemade, fresh, and delicious.
We were on on our way back from visiting family in Alabama and decided to stop in. It was our first visit and we’ll certainly be back. The prices were modest and the servers were helpful and friendly. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. My wife joked that it felt like we were in a Hallmark movie.
Got iced coffee and it was delicious.
Good coffee
The service was good and the shakes were tasty.
Folks are friendly, good ice cream.
Features: Nice outdoor seating area. Old rock and roll music. Good relaxing vibe. No need for masks.
Drove from silver creek only to find them closed before their posted hours.

4. Antiques On The Square
Address: E19X 155, 22 Broad St, Cave Spring, GA 30124 , Cave Spring , Georgia , United States
Love this store, the Christian atmosphere & owner. I love Cave Springs ❤
Absolutely one of the most amazing places I’ve been to. Great variety of one off items you won’t find anywhere else.
Very friendly and helpful
We bought the Red Velvet and Tiger Butter fudge when we were in town for dinner. We were expecting something delicious from the reviews but it was okay. Not worth the drive or price. We had found a fantastic place in Dahlonega and thought we’d found somewhere closer to home to get fudge. We didn’t. We honestly can’t figure out how people were so blown away by something that seems so mediocre.
The fudge here is AMAZING! There are other trinkets for sale… But the FUDGE!!
Lovely store but need more counter help. Waited for 5 minutes without seeing any workers. Person in front of me left. Cashier appeared and bypassed me and another customer behind me without asking who was next in line. He served people who had walked in well after me and the other customer. I walked out and he just laughed.
BEWARE. The man who runs this Shop has a terrible, hot temper and will take it out on you in a flash.
I simply asked for clean large squares of fudge for gifts, and instead he ignored me and started to weigh out a chopped up piece with other colors of fudge smeared on it.
When I explained that I needed the large pieces for gifts he turned hostile and actually shouted that he “could’t please me” and stood there glaring at me.
I left in fear that he was going to turn violent. I hope he gets help. Whatever his problem is, he shouldn’t be running a Gift Shop.
6. Music Depot
Address: 304 N Main St, Cedartown, GA 30125 , Cave Spring , Georgia , United States
Helpful and friendly. Enjoyed talking with the owner.
sweet little place. superbly nice staff. great prices and has layaway.
Great at helping with problems, I couldn’t fix for my grandsons.. Bought a lot from here, never been disappointed . Great store.
I didn’t realize there was a store that sells musical instruments in town but was pleasantly surprised! Found exactly what I was looking for and more…definitely will be returning!
Surprised by how extensive their selection of Lefty’s is, surprised and impressed.
Been going for a few years now, the only problem I had was with a messed up stand but it was easy to fix so it worked out fine
My wife bought a Walden acoustic guitar less than a week ago from this music store for me as a surprise. It fell off the stand and the top part of the neck “above the first fret” broke in half. I’ve been playing for 35 years and this has never happened before. The bottom of the guitar stand is 1 inch from the floor so it just fell lightly not slammed against the floor. We took it back and the owners refused to replace it or refund our money. We left the guitar there, out of our money and my gift to play music right now is at a haunt. So I would definitely not recommend this place. -Matthew Patrick Avery
Bought an avlex microphone from them that was totally defective. Not only did the store refuse to refund the money, they refused store credit as well. I’ve reported them to consumer reports and the better business bureau. They could’ve just refunded my money for selling me a broken piece of gear. Do not shop here if you don’t like getting ripped off. I’m a local musician and would’ve bought quite a bit of merchandise from them too. Their loss…

9. Local Joe’s Cave Spring
Address: 6 Broad St, Cave Spring, GA 30124 , Cave Spring , Georgia , United States
Great Barbecue and Great service the smoked turkey is Amazing !
This was a nice barbeque place. Not amazing but not pricey either. We got the family brisket and it feed two adults and three children with leftovers for later. All in all it was good food.
Parking: On the side and behind the bldg.
Nice little place off the beaten path good BBQ and very good sweets
If you have a service pet be ready to show ID , even though it is illegal for any establishment to ask. Barbecue was good, potato salad yummy! Mac and cheese pass it up. Nasty.
I might try something other than the ribs, if I go back.
Rib Sammish was ok. Flys on the food in display case, told the gal, she just laughed, and did nothing. I won’t go back.
Ok, expected better.
10. Dollar General
Address: 3080 Cave Spring Rd SW, Rome, GA 30161 , Cave Spring , Georgia , United States
Clean and organized invorment,
Friendly service. Very small town
Feeling. All these things are important
to me when I shop.
My go-to for picking up all the little things we forget or run out of during the week. Such a convenience for those of us that live on the outskirts of town.
Great store
Store very cluttered, dangerous to walk in. Stock blocking isles. Fire hazard to people trying to exit in a hurry.
This DG is well ran and there is always a great deal on perishable items. The store is always clean and the associates are always ready to help you find something. This is the way a DG should look. A++
Great selection of food and clothes
Hard to find stuff, have to wait on cashier to come from back, two different times. I like the convenience of dollar general. But, this was not the case at this particular location.
I am a frequent customer at the Dollar General. My family was having a yard sale, and I came in to get a few things and get $20 back in three fives and five ones. Very simple request.
Then, I met Ken. Ken decided to look me in the eye and dramatically inform me that the banks were closed, in reference to his drawer. He then pointed at his wrist watch and told me the banks closed at noon, I had 45 minutes and I “had better drive”. I’ve worked customer service for six years, and never once have I made a big deal about breaking a $20 on a Saturday, and I certainly never belittled a customer like he did to me.
In all my years, I’ve never had somebody in customer service be as openly rude to me as Ken was today. The other employees are very kind and considerate. Seek them out for help over Ken any day of the week and you’ll have a wonderful experience.
Meh. The older lady cashier I can do without other than that I love this store
You just got to love a good privately owned company.
Great service
Great experience great customer service
Jackson’s Music is a good little small town music store. In a town void of music stores this is a nice oasis to get the things you need. They also fix guitars and rent band instruments too.
I’ve been here several times and they are constantly helpful and efficient. They took a look at my cello at no cost and let me know it didn’t need to be fixed yet. I appreciate their honesty.
The salesman i had there knew HIS STUFF…. KNOWLEDGE!
Terrible service
I really wanna like this place, but there is a guy that’s been here for years, and everytime I’ve gone in he has been crabby about something. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but he’s not to cool to the customers anytime I’ve been around.
I was greeted when i came in.. great!! It was my 2nd time there, I usually go Guitar Center in Marietta, to a much bigger store. But after i was helped I felt as if i was being followed around the store. Evertime Id go around the corner, the guy from the front desk would pop up behind me 39 seconds later. That WASN’T good customer service… NOT the way you wanna feel as a customer, as if you’re a threat to take something. Smdh

A very nice store thats familly owned and always happy to help.
Great store. Very helpful and knowledgeable.
There are plenty of free parking spaces. The shop is in excellent shape and well organized. The shop has plenty of musical instruments to buy from guitars, drums, and wind instruments. They even have a repair person who fixes musical instruments like clarinets, saxophone and other symphonic band instruments. I had my Series III 62H Alto Saxophone fixed there and the workmanship was of superior quality and my saxophone has superior performance now. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the services that I received at Attina’s music shop.
Less freedom then other music stores of the top of my head how about ” guitar center” which if you google it you will find it is
no-less then 10-11 drive which is not such a bad thing when they actually allow you to pick up the instruments but besides that IT IS JUST OK IF THAT’S WHAT YOU. LIKE.
Good customer service. Not a lot of music choices, but I was able to find a Rubank methods book.
Have most items you may need however they’re a little pricey most things are available for less online.
Expensive, great variety
Guy was on phone the whole time…and we waited. Not sure this is the norm but it was my one and only visit
It was obvious that my presence was causing discomfort to the manager/cashier/whatever. I was not allowed to play a certain Epiphone Les Paul (not even a Gibson) because ‘they wanted to keep it clean’. I am a frikin professional guitarist with 11 years of experience and no music stores have ever denied me of handling an instrument. Highly offending for a first time visitor’s impression.
Go to Guitar Center and avoid this place, you’ll be glad you did.

The best place in the world to live
The gazebo in the square is always a lovely place to take a break in downtown Cave Spring. Its shady benches and large hanging ferns beckon passersby to stop and just sit a spell.
I can only imagine the many interesting conversations that have taken place since it was first built in the 1980s! An added bonus are the many wonderful smells coming from the various restaurants nearby and old-timey music being blasted from local businesses in town. While we were there, we could hear Elvis “Everything is Beautiful” playing from a speaker in the antique store’s entrance, just a few yards away.
A marked spot on the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Garden Trail is also located right beside the gazebo, as is a bike rack and the local Veterans Memorial monuments and brick path. Come absorb some of the awesome Cave Spring vibe in the gazebo!

Address: 612 Medlock Rd, Decatur, GA 30033 , Cave Spring , Georgia , United States
I’m having them do some work to one of my guitars. Nice folks.
It was awesome, narm sayin.
Visited Dirt Cheep for a band instrument for my grandson. They had everything we needed. Of course the $189 Clarinet ended up being $289, but that’s because I upgraded the mouthpiece and bought the protection plan. What can I say. It’s my grandson. It was really crowded and they moved people through quickly without making you feel rushed. Great place for the beginner. Very knowledgeable staff.
Great customer service.
A good place to go when looking for reasonable equipment, the service is good.
They charged me a 10% restocking fee for an M-Audio USB interface that had flaky drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. When I told them about this problem one of the guys asked if I was running SP1 or SP2 for Windows 7. When I told him no service packs are out for Windows 7 he looked it up right in front of me and had the audacity to say that M-Audio had drivers for Win 7 SP2. This guy was totally clueless. So I got charged $36 because M-Audio had bad drivers. I won’t be going back.
Terrible quality even for the low price, employees work for commission, talk you into buying things you don’t need. I bought a viola there, and it was good since I had just begun. Two years later the thing sucks.
I literally tried to donate a trombone that my son barely used. So that maybe a single mother or parent who may not have the money to spend could possibly benefit from it for their child. I didnt ask for any money at all. They told me they wouldnt take it. I even said id rather give it away than to throw it away. They told me they had too many. We were just trying to be a blessing to another family.

employees will go out of their way to help you and even help us with problems we were havind with our DAW on our laptop
Smaller than the one on Cobb parkway. Friendly staff. No complaints. Just a pretty limited selection.
I find it hard to believe a store would go out of their way to lose a potential sale. I live in Carrollton Georgia so I don’t get out there much and I asked to exchange an un-used microphone I purchased from them (over 90 days ago) for another item. They told me no. That’s basically it. Who says that to a potential customer? I know your starving for business but ok I’ll purchase elsewhere from now on. I like companies that are interested in my business. I recommend Willcutt guitars
Staff is helpful to get the sale but be careful… Merchandise is expensive and there’s no returns because of Covid. They don’t tell you about that detail before you spend your money!
Wasn’t able to be in this store for 5 minutes trying to find my 4 year old an instrument to learn without two of the employees hounding him to not touch anything. As a professional musician trust me I have my son trained to be careful around expensive instruments. I also picked up a guitar to play and think about purchasing it but the guy told me they are supposed to bring it down and hand it to me, I said I know how to handle a guitar and he says “not a $1,300 guitar” I’ll take my business elsewhere.
19. UKE Republic Ukuleles
Address: 5000 Austell Powder Springs Rd SW STE 250, Austell, GA 30106 , Cave Spring , Georgia , United States
I visited Uke Republic after reading about it in the local newspaper. The timing was good as I was just gaining interest in the instrument. Mike was very patient (still is) and took the time to teach me what to look for to meet what I was looking for. I am a life long guitar player so I am very familiar with stringed instruments. Mike knows what he is doing and most importantly is very honest as well as truly enthusiastic about ukuleles. He has put together a great shop. I am a frequent visitor and trust him enough to have a uke custom made by Uke Republic’s Sailor Brand Ukulele Co. If you are a uke player or are just interested in the instrument, do yourself a favor and visit.
Glad i discovered this place. They have a very wide range of ukuleles unlike any anywhere ive ever seen. Mike was very friendly, helpful, and patient as i tried out various ukuleles. I ended up buying a really cool banjolele that i am very happy with. Would definitely shop here again.
I had a mixed experience. Through Uke Republic, I was able to get an electric ukulele (which are currently on worldwide backorder). Unfortunately, the one I received had a humbucker that wasn’t correctly attached. Mike sent me some screws to fix it but I’m not familiar enough with ukes to have done it on my own. I ended up paying to have a brand new ukulele fixed. I am sure that if I lived closer, Mike could have fixed this pretty quickly. This is the downside of mail order ukes. Hoping to visit his shop after the pandemic.
I placed an order on 3/29/23. Item never shipped. Poor communication from store. Told it’s on it’s s way multiple times, but never shipped.
Asked for a refund still no activity. What a shame. All I want is you to do what you say you will one time.
Ordered an Ohana O’Nino through UKE Republic. I went with this company because of their fast turnaround time AND included setup.Turn around time was fast but when it arrived it appeared to not be setup. I am very disappointed.
While I hear great things about this store I must say after two experiences with them I am extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend them. The 1st contact, I was in the market for a $500-$1000 ukulele and sent emails to ask a few questions. I never heard back and eventually purchased through Uke Like Pros who were extremely responsive. After my purchase I sent one more email to Uke Republic informing them they lost a sale due to their poor response. I got an immediate response informing me the other emails had gone to junk mail this email from the same address got answered immediately. Strange! I went ahead and gave them another try and ordered a ukulele via their online store. There was an issue with the initial shipping address I gave them and I gave an updated correct address. I was assured they would correct it. It has now been about 2 week and it arrived at the wrong address and I now have no way of getting it. I sent an email telling them they sent it to the wrong location. Big surprise but NO RESPONSE. Worst experience I have had yet with an online music store. I would not recommend them!
20. Town Center Music
Address: 4072 Suwanee Dam Rd NW, Suwanee, GA 30024 , Cave Spring , Georgia , United States
I had a wonderful experience at this music store. It is the best I have come across since I moved to America. I recently bought a cajon from here, amongst other cool guitar equipment; and I am very pleased with each item. The customer service is phenomenal, and the variety of music is fantastic.
A store owned by great people with superior musical knowledge.
I absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves the art of music, and I am certainly going back!
Very pleased with my experience here. Julian helped me and my wife find what we wanted through explaining to us what was available and answering my questions. This was our first time inside and he did a great job of having us test out some equipment and deciding on our purchase. Will recommend to anyone looking for a good music shop.
Great place for guitar lessons
Good
Taught my kids to play guitar
Much better store I not been here in a while the past manager was not a music guy or a manger known as a air head I will be back
Store is dirty poor selection not real big
Went in there a couple days ago. Not a huge fan. Workers aren’t very pleasant people and they come up to you every 10 minutes kind of giving you the hint to leave if you’re not gonna buy anything like you’re in there too long.
Great for beginners I guess. Don’t come in here expecting higher quality equipment and experience. Name of their game is to hook beginners onto cheap equipment (which is totally fine) and get you out. No hanging out in there jamming for an extended time.
Maybe I came in on a bad day.
Wow. Just called Town Center Music. Someone answered. I started asking about a guitar I’m looking for and got cut off mid-sentence by the guy talking loudly to a co-worker. When he stopped talking I said hello? Hello? Nothing. A few seconds later he hangs up.
