He is so incredibly talented, and works hand and hand with the bride and groom to personalize a playlist, would 1000% recommend!
We held a short ceremony at Zion NP with eleven of our closest friends and family. We had planned our wedding from across the country which made it hard to know exactly what we were getting. With Dave’s communication, professionalism, and talent, he gave us an extra special added memory without the hassle or frustration that we feared. We did end up making a few special requests that he happily performed. Dave provided the most perfect soundtrack to our special day. We highly recommend this guy! Thanks Dave!!
Dave was amazing to work with for our wedding! He was very responsive to emails and seamlessly communicated with my wedding planner for all the setup details. Dave took the time to understand the type of music that my husband and I love, making the music one of my favorite parts of the night. He is very talented and we received many compliments on how lovely his voice was. I highly recommend Dave to anyone looking for a wedding musician, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing service! The best music shop I’ve ever been to. I live 3 hours away and it’s still worth the drive. Bought a 12 string from them and unfortunately after I took it home I found some manufacturer defects, they offered to take it back and organized with the manufacturer to get me a brand new one free of charge! Amazing! Would give them more stars if I could!

I get it, it’s tourist season. I genuinely wanted to locally shop a 1/2 size guitar. I saw how busy the store was. I left my name and number. Someone said I was all set to receive a call. 2 weeks, no call.
CCM is a Central Coast treasure. Ed has provided us local musicians and lovers an eclectic array of musical instruments and accoutrements for a long time making Morro Bay a better place for it.
Personal attention is the norm.

Ron worked on our daughter’s flute. When she played it she remarked that it had never sounded so good! Ron did a terrific job. His prices are reasonable and he does his best for turn aroud.
The interior of the store was clean and well-organized. There was a wide variety of merchandise and collectables. The proprietor was friendly and helpful.

So much to see! They have lots of cool vintage and antique items. Found a few things I had to have.
Payed over price for a relativley common Zippo lighter, thankfully got a decent deal on a cast iron pan

Very hopping place to grab a quick coffee and a bite. The coffee was great and the lox bagels were as advertised.
Great coffee, excellent oatmeal and fruit, nice people. Most important, it’s open early.
Went two days in a row, great vibe cute place with a nice local feel. The pastries were stale the first day but figured oh well, the second day they were stale as well and our drinks were Luke warm. Nice place but if you want a good pastry on the side better look elsewhere.
Latte tastes a bit burnt/bitter. Blueberry scone had more of a cake/biscuit texture not a true creamy scone.
Love places that roast their own beans…flavorful and robust coffee without being bitter
Awful experience, we were turned away for service at 1:53p because they were closing at 2:00p, just wanted to support a local business. The man working was rather rude and nearly knocked us down to grab the outside chairs and shut the door. Won’t be back.
Just average place.
Don’t work there, if you aren’t happy to serve behind the counter.

Really enjoyed the items in this store, and the prices much better than it’s sister store. Both had very nice people working in them, but, overall this store is more to our liking, and taste in product. We will be back again to both, but, this will be our first stop if given a time crunch.

We had the 805 String Quartet perform at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on 9/9/23. From the first consultation to the wedding day, they were amazing to work with and extremely professional. The day of our wedding was magical and elegant and much of that was thanks to Bill and his quartet. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for live string music for their event or special occasion!
We were fortunate enough to have The 805 String Quartet play for our daughter’s July wedding. From our first contact, through forming the playlist, to the actual day of the wedding, they were professional, kind, and accommodating. The quartet added so much beauty to the day and we will be forever grateful for their high quality performance.
We booked the 805 String Quartet for a family member’s Celebration of Life, and I’m so glad we did! Bill was a pleasure to communicate with and made things very easy, despite the fact that we were across the country. He made the entire process so simple for us, and the performance itself couldn’t have been more perfect—such a talented group. The music was exactly what we hoped for and many guests commented on how nice it was. I highly recommend Bill and his team, and we hope to book them again in the future.

Took an hour for a $10 burrito. Wasnt all that good. No salt or pepper on it. Not impressed. Drinks go out fast though.
One of the employees here told us that we had wait for all of the people that had masks on to order and leave before we could order, then after 4 groups of people came in and ordered, we went up to the counter to order and the guy told us the we needed to leave because we didn’t have masks. Not only did they waste our time and be rude, but they discriminated against us for not having masks.
The food arrived cold and was bland. No salt or pepper to improve it. Apparently staffed and managed by middle schoolers.

Today I witnessed an employee/volunteer be extremely rude. Seems to me they want go thru the donated food first and pick out what they want to keep for themselves and their friends and are extremely rude if you are there getting anything before they can take it. I would be ok with them having first pick but not ok with rudeness. Especially since you don’t know they are employees till they snap at you sad to think these are the people in our small town that are supposed to be helping!

As a musician, I can attest that In The Groove is a fun space full of authentic and unique musical merchandise. Curt is such a friendly laid back owner who is also a working musician, so I love talking with him and Eddie (with Central Coast Music where the shop is located). Shop local, stay groovy!

A very quaint guitar shop with a wonderful atmosphere and very nice people. Not a huge selection, but the quality makes up for it. Each guitar there had so much character and if its an older one its likely to have a very interesting history. I’d highly recommend it if you want a well made and unique guitar for a fair price.

Wish it was open more days than one, that’s ridiculous. Wish the woman up front wasn’t passive aggressive. There isn’t passion or inspiration in that place anymore. I’d say let the legacy move on and shut it down. I’m guessing a family member took over after he passed away. But the way its ran is like a burden more than a legacy. Sorry to say

Simply the greatest Vinyl shop in Cali. Their knowledge of music/vinyl is second to none. The owner & employees are incredibly welcoming & the ambiance here is heavenly really, just very relaxing & flowing with positive great peaceful vibes! They play great music 24/7 & they have an incredible collection of vinyl. You can bet you will find what album/records youre looking for with ease here at Vinyl Isle. So stop in at Vinyl Isle & enjoy yourself as i have there listening to great music & hanging with the awesome knowledgable very helpfull staff. Nice little place. Have gone in a few times for reeds and picks. Staff is really nice and helpful.
I will say that they advertise that they have music teachers who offer lessons there. And say to call for availability… don’t waste your time. I called six times (in a month) to inquire about violin lessons and left messages each time, never heard back. Finally go in, and they say they don’t offer lessons for her age, not a big deal, it just was an irritant to not have messages returned.
