I just recently started playing the acoustic guitar about a month ago and I’ve made incredible strides in my playing ability. He puts a great lesson plan together that’s tailored to how you play. For instance, I had issues with hand placement and playing notes clearly so he gave me two new exercises that have since corrected my mistakes
She not only prepares you for the future with recitals but also teaches you about your voice and terminology. She is a local singer herself with a great voice. She gave me a free consultation and since then, my lessons have been very productive and very worth the price. She is very approachable and kind, and makes you welcome the instant you walk in. She loves to give students opportunities and loves teaching. I would not be where I am today vocally without her. I had experimented with other coaches in the area for 4 years before but only really felt progress when I started learning with her. She is very encouraging and enthusiastic about her profession and is willing to help anyone with their voice with her expertise. Check her out! She’s the best by far!
TR Music and Voice Lessons is a true gem! Our son Benjamin’s piano teacher, Mrs. Sullivan, not only shares her expertise but also instills a genuine love for music in her students.
6. Guitar Shop
Address: 2111 Garden St, Titusville, FL 32796 , Christmas , Florida , United States
Went in to the store on Lee Rd to get my Floyd rose repaired. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Mac from the guitar department was very helpful and was definitely invested into repairing my guitar. Other music stores just don’t do it the same! On top of that, he had it done within an hour. The price was more than fair. I will definitely be taking my business here more often.
Love to shop there. Got my Bongo skins, and I’m satisfied.
They knew exactly what I needed, the cashier had the biggest smile, love shopping at this great store
Had not been to Sam Ash for a while stopped in to pick up some guitar strings posted price on guitar strings were $5 for the Martin strings and 699 for the extra slinky Ernie Ball I was charged 749 for the Martin strings when I ask the sales guy he said well the price had gone up even after looking at the posted price on the string of $5 per set the additional $2.49 per set I purchased four sets of the Martin strings) it is not going to make or break me I would recommend that if you enter this place that you check with sales before you purchase any product I would also recommend that management post the proper cost of the item
Although I’ve made good purchases with Sam Ash in the past, this latest purchase experience had alot to be desired. Bought a set of Jamstand studio monitor stands. I live 27 miles (one way) from the store so it’s somewhat of a trek. Once home, I opened the box only to find that this was clearly a returned item. Parts scratched with all plastic packing coverings removed and bunched in the box. Back to the store I went the next day (another 54 miles round trip w/tolls) and was able to exchange for a new one. The store agent was apologetic and courteous. Oh well, my bad. I definitely should’ve opened the box and checked the contents.
Much nicer since we don’t need masks. It was rough during those indoctrinating times. Basically comply without real science and medical facts. Tyler was a great help. Very welcoming and friendly. Remembered what I called for and needed.
I went in to sell my guitar, after making me wait over 30 mins they agreed on a price, but then went back before making the transaction and wanted to take 10 dollars more off just because the manager saw a scratch. It’s not about 10 bucks but it’s a used thing, don’t go back on what you have agreed. I would never go back there.
There’s no customer service no one trying to help you find what you’re looking for
Walked in to find a takamine pro guitar but could not try it out because a customer that had already bought a guitar prior was being catered to and had a concert going with different guitars and I could not hear myself. I guess I will go to the Guitar Center.
8. Music & Arts

We spent about an hour in the store learning about different clarinets and which would be best for our needs. Very knowledgeable staff that works together to give an excellent customer experience. We left happy and with a new clarinet in hand! Thank you!
Went in to get a repair and while waiting my daughter was able to try some new instruments for a long overdue upgrade. The repair was quick and she really enjoyed being able to try out the instruments before choosing which she liked the most. Sean was very helpful and we will be going back when she is ready for her next instrument.
I was amused with the service I had today from the cute girl in glasses. I went in to get a set of Guitar Strings. Mine have been worn down and my e string finally broke. I switch alot from E standard and drop D. I comfortably use skinny top heavy bottoms, but this store didn’t have them. My brain had stopped and my glasses fogged, but shortly my dilemma was answered. I was recommended the Ernie ball slinky cobalt pack (10,13,17,26,36,46). I am curious how much life I can get out these Slinky Boi’s!!
The staff was very helpful in answering my questions even though they didn’t have a Cello my son’s size in stock it was a very informative visit
Tienen confianza en el cliente y lo dejan que busquen lo que desean, buena atencion y tienen variedad.Deben buscar un lugar mas amplio.
Would give them 5 but their shipping sucks
I was not impressed with this location. The manager on the phone sounded friendly, but was slightly strange and rude in person. They were very disorganized and their computer system constantly would not be working. The bathroom was out of order all the time. when you walk in there is a horrible smell with a dingy feel to it. The rest of the staff was nice but poorly managed. I think this franchise is only looking to make money and not have personal relationships with their customers who come in for lessons. I would steer away from music and arts, because I’ve had similar experience when I lived in Connecticut as well. find yourself a local place that offers lessons on a personal level.
I signed my daughter up for beginner violin lessons and out of 8 weeks of lessons 3 were cancelled – one of them we sat and waited for 25 min before they said the teacher wasn’t coming. I understand that emergencies happen once in a while but it turned out to be way more of a hassle to try to schedule make up classes or get my money back. Very unreliable and disappointing.
Also many times I was told I would receive a phone call about make up lessons or refunds and I always ended up having to reach out to figure out what was going on. Would not recommend for their lessons services!
awful. awful I paid cash for rental of instrument at the store, employee pocket the money, even with a receipt. They keep trying to charge me. As well teacher for lesson cancels last minute every other week. I get told when I show they say oh she just call sorry. I will drive my kids to the Band room instead.
9. R & R Guitars
Address: 1881 W State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750 , Christmas , Florida , United States
I’ve been doing business with Rob long before he opened his shop here in Longwood. He’s a good honest dude who you can trust to not try to sell you anything just for the sake of making a sale. Always good inventory and he’s very knowledgeable about amps and instruments. Check it out.
Best guitar shop in Florida. Rob is a great guy. The store is very cozy and it has a large selections of guitars. 5 stars!!
Always a good experience there. Rob, the owner, is great and makes the buying experience personal and enjoyable.
Replaced strings of my daughter’s guitar. Did not tune at all. Poor communication. Was on the phone while checking me out and had difficulty asking / answering questions. Stated would clean up guitar that had been in storage but wasn’t touched. Took several days to replace strings. Would not go here again. Poor service
10. Guitar Center
Address: 520 N Orlando Ave Suite 130, Winter Park, FL 32789 , Christmas , Florida , United States
Competitive Pricing. Very nice and knowledgeable staff helped us purchase a PA system for our church.
i Love It
They have new and used musical instruments (and you can play them!)
It’s OK. Some of the managers won’t grant Military discount so to not lose out on their commission.
We got we needed, but the man that assisted us seemed less than enthusiastic, possibly even a little put out that we were bothering him
Customer Service sux
DJ Controllers looked ransacked and nothing was available to test. I really want to support local retail over online stores, but unfortunately this store didn’t motivate me to buy anything. It’s not that hard to keep display looking decent and cleaning up a little bit, inventory issues or not.
