Wonderful and quick paced establishment. Employees are always so friendly. When i need something its easy since they’re so well organized.
Great verity at amazing Price’s
I just hate that they card you IDC how old you are. But I luv the products they sell.
Friendly place
Couldn’t find things. Store is a mess! Every time ask asked a question to cashier. She told me don’t know… just got here. On questions she should have known anyways. Maybe a bad day? Not sure.
Not happy about people who want wear face mask
Always cluttered, overworked staff.
In two visits too the store…….
I have been disappointed of the assistant manager…….amber
Been in customer service for thirty years…..
Need to pay more attention to the lines in the store……
One night the fifteen minutes call was made……….my friend decided it was easier to leave the carts there and run and get his extra items……
Cart disappeaed……
With two customers in the store she should have personally found the owners or the carts……….carts were about 178$ of store sales
I had already paid for my order 86$
Since I had paid for my order and up front waiting….
He was the only one shopping
So it’s a no brainier cart and one person shopping…cart was unloaded after a hour of serious collecting from a list…….
One crippled in a wheelchair and one just passed….
Caretaker of the household….shopping
Getting home with over charges…cause not correct soda count….
Instead of bitching and staying this is my store…..
She should have helped him collect the items back…..
Week later. Different circumstances…….he had left his cart….
I told him to hold onto his cart…..
I was not talking to her…..
While customers waited she is standing there watching
Customers at the register would and should have had a cashier attending….
With this attitude her days are numbered…..
Needs stocked more often. Always out of certain things. For being such a busy store I’ve only seen one person and that’s at the register.

It’s McDonald’s. Unfortunately we have $40 worth of coupons. People do not realize that McDonald’s is rated the worse place to eat out of the top 35 fast food places.
CROSS CITY MCDONALD’S IS BY FAR THE WORSE! EMPLOYEES ARE OFTEN RUDE, THEY CONSTANTLY MESS UP YOUR ORDERS!
4. Hoggtowne Music
Address: at Thornebrook Village Shopping Center, 2441 NW 43rd St STE 26B, Gainesville, FL 32606 , Cross City , Florida , United States
They have the most awesome assortment of musical instruments! Anything you can think to play you can buy here! They also have an awesome website where you can virtually view everything they have in there for sale!
I’ve been going to Hoggtowne for years to get my Les Paul routinely restringed. Over this past weekend I picked up an Ibanez JBM100 Jake Bowen Signature series guitar and was really cautious about where to take it for a set up. I’ve never owned a piece of music gear this nice and have never played on a floyd rose. I knew I was too scared to start messing with it myself so I decided to take it into Hoggtowne. They were extremely knowledgeable on what I was bringing to them and I learned a lot about what I was getting into with this guitar.
I dropped the guitar off on a Monday and it was finished by Wednesday afternoon, earlier than anticipated. Let me tell you something, this guitar is an absolute joy to play. I’ve been playing it all day (literally) since picking it up from the shop. The set up is perfect and I will 100% be a lifelong return customer. Best place to go to in Gainesville guaranteed.
Brought my 12 string in for new set of strings and long delayed set up. Chris did a great job and it sounds better than ever. I’ve bought a lot of equipment from them over the years (including the aforementioned Seagull 12 string), a Yamaha StagePass PA, and even down to Fred Kelly speed picks. It all works perfectly and their advice is spot on.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this shop. They did have a nice selection of Martins at reasonable prices and seemed like a decent shop otherwise.
Continues to charge me for a flute that has been paid off
Overpriced!!
Went to get a tuner they needed to price correct from the site, and they did. But also got a Hohner Puck that was repackaged (to be fair, idk if by them) and a draw hole didn’t work at all. That was the last one, so they had to switch with an Old Standby, and if you know harmonicas, that’s just a trade down even though it was more expensive on their shelf. I know it’s harder to do a refund, but I’d have rathered that. These things combined left a bad taste in my mouth.

Amazing customer service! Went in to have my keyboard looked at for repair. Great people!
Great place! Highly Recommend! Sam and James were big help.
I took in my dulcimer to get a estimate on having the bridge lowered. They said they couldn’t get ahold of me so proceded to do the work without my approval. They ended up restringing it, which I didn’t ask for, and charged me $90 to lower the bridge. The bridge was not lowered enough so I still have to have someone else fix it! Never again!
The proprietor was snarky, smarmy, and condescending.
Went there to pick up some strings. Before handing them to me after I paid, the employee TOLD my friend and I to take out our phones and leave a review. Not asking politely or anything, just instructing us to do so. They also had a BOSS BD-2 pedal on display with no price and no box. It looked used. I asked for a price and he told me $150. That thing costs $113 brand new. I will not be returning.
6. Hardee’s
Address: 15909 SE Hwy 19, Cross City, FL 32628 , Cross City , Florida , United States
This is the best Hardee’s I’ve ever been in. The food was fresh. All the tables were clean and napkin holders filled. No overflow of garbage or spilled drinks anywhere. All the employees smile, very polite and personable. You gotta see their soda/condiment area. Everything in it’s place, filled and clean. Wow! Thank You Hardee’s. You’re doing a great job.
Love breakfast here! They have a new sliders they’re great! Great friendly service!
Love that breakfast!
good fast food & promo combos
Good food, $5 deals
This place is horrific. I went there around dinner time to get food for my family and was trying to order a special order and was cussed out because they didnt serve special orders to the White!!! What a terrible facility.i recomend never going there for anything not even the restroom.
The biscuits were hard and the steak was rubbery
Typical biscuit as always!

My dad and I had some troubles with our shotguns not cycling properly, some not feeding after ejecting, some hanging up while trying to feed. Tim worked his magic skills and this last quail hunt all 6 shotguns worked without any hangups! We shot about 250 shells on this hunt without a hickup. Tim has a great personality and has very reasonable prices for his services. I’m taking them back now just to get them all cleaned up and get a little refinishing done on the wood. We hunted in the rain one day so you know what that did but I’m confident that Tim can get them back as good as new again! Thanks Timothy Foster!
disgusting
8. Parramore Music
Address: 304 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470 , Cross City , Florida , United States
New to the area, looking for music shop. I was very impressed at what they have! Varieties of instruments new and used plus accessories and parts. Also this place offers lessons or long list of connections to people who will give music lessons for many types of instruments and vocal. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. This place is a must see if you love to play music. I can see how they stayed in business locally for so long.
My daughter has taken guitar lessons here for a number of years. Very knowledgeable staff
Knowledgeable and helpful
Friendly service, not always trying to get you to buy something which is a big plus, and experienced staff.
I brought my guitar in for minor pickup wiring. 7 days later they hadn’t touched it. I came back to get it and I wasn’t given a reason or an apology.
I would really love to give this place five stars, but… The thing is, even though they have a fabulous selection of guitars, (and I DO mean FABULOUS! After, all, I bought my Yamaha that’s in the pawnshop right now here, and I’m fabulous af ) they don’t have a fabulous way of treating people that look like me. Every time I walk in this place, the long-haired dude is so weird. You can just tell he’s waiting for me to pocket something so he can rush to the front and lock me in! Like, dude, I paid cash for one of your overpriced, mass- produced workhorse-guitars. I’m not gonna swipe some maracas while your back’s turned. I don’t even want to shop here anymore, which sucks because Guitar Center is hella far, but at least they don’t make me feel like I’m not welcome.
Dont say you buy old musical equipments, if a 63 year ventage trumpet is not worth any thing more than a head shake and disrespectfull knowladge.
9. Dark Horse Music Store
Address: 105 S Collins St, Plant City, FL 33563 , Cross City , Florida , United States
Great people! Has a variety of instruments; guitars, drums, and stuff like that. Really.
A great place to be, full on positivity, absolutely has YOUR best interest in mind, and absolutely knows what they are doing to make your dreams happen.
Of course, I’d like to add why, but before that, I’d like to say this: THERE IS NO “INSTANT ROCKSTAR” BUTTON!!!!
If you want to be good at an instrument, it is on YOU to make that happen, and blaming a lack of skill on the products of this place is not going to get you where you want to go. That said, I cannot validate the quality of lessons provided here, but I will update this review to reflect how that goes down the line.
This place has tremendous customer service, I cannot speak for everyone, but these guys will support you like you’re family, they are fully aware of what you are there for, where you need to go for it, they absolutely will do their best to get you there, and they will make the trip worth your while. For example, I got a guitar for Christmas, and on the first day, THE VERY FIRST DAY, a string broke, literally the day before the only guy available, (who’s name I happen to forget, sorry bro) was supposed to go on Christmas vacation out of state.
HE RESPONDED ON MESSENGER, and had me come in the next day, get my guitar restringed. To give you an idea of how much of a life save that was, I called two different guitar centers, and a same ash. I DIDNT EVEN GET A VOICEMAIL! This man straight up delayed his own break, to open a shop that wasn’t even supposed to be open, to do a job he wasn’t even payed for, And even threw in a a tuner that belonged to a store, (I bought one but it was out of stock so he lent me the stores tuner until it came in)
This next part is in an “in development” stage so I will update this later.
So now I have his number and he has been texting me about when my orders are in, for example, I have a bunch of acrylic guitar picks that he is holding for when I get back from a family vacation. Another use is that I am planning on having a guitar kit assembled by the store within the next year (Firebird style reverse offset) so I enquired about the price, and indicated that I am not committing to the purchase for a very long time, so tomorrow he is going to be talking with their guitar tech about the price.
I can not recommend this store enough off of customer service alone, seriously, check them out.
Awesome little music store in Plant City.
Wasn’t at all like the pictures online. Only a handful of guitars, some cables, strings, and picks. They did say they were going through a remodel but it looked like it was more geared to other art and not so much music. The staff on hand were very friendly though.
It’s good what can I say there’s always somthing in there to do or see
Friendly and helpful staff… take music lessons, the store has music and equipment
currently in dispute with them over music lessons, and billing. My wife had to threaten with criminal fraud charges to get a call back from the manager. They picked up and moved in the middle of the night from one side of town to the other no notice not sign in window just gone. I did not find out till several weeks later what the new address was when they TEXT me about changing the lesson time.
The manager in talking with my wife said we show her signed in 6 times in January, she only went on Tuesdays and last i check there was only 4 in the month, so he is confused or some one is bad at book keeping.
I drove two and half hours to support a small business only to realize they had the wrong listing on their site. I called before I left to make sure they had it. The owner was very rude and tried to sell me a used floor model for over what the listing was. Amazon is not the problem its small business owners not caring to connect with customers.
First off someone has been deleting any negative reviews here. Second I was very dissatisfied with their knowledge and the instruments I purchased to put it in a simple statement I basically got ripped off by them. I would not recommend them under any circumstances. I have been a musician for over 40 years this is the only music store that I have ever put a negative review on that should be telling you something there. They do not have the knowledge needed to do any repairs a good chunk of their instruments or substandard they are also selling instruments new that are actually shop seconds in other words stuff that could be sold normally as new because of manufacturer problems. And if you happen to get one of these you’re tough out of luck and that was exactly what happened with me I have been majorly screwed over by this store and I’m speaking this from a very experienced musician
10. Charlie’s Bar & Package
Address: 21454 SE Hwy 19, Old Town, FL 32680 , Cross City , Florida , United States
Great fun. Bartenders were fast and friendly. Music was great.
15 years… steel my favorite!
A while ago I stopped in once, had a shot and went on my way. Yesterday I stopped in again passing through town and ended up with Alison as my bartender. She was quick with my drinks and brought incredible conversation. What was supposed to be a 10 minute stop turned into 3 hours and I had the time of my life with her another female patron. I ended up getting a pizza Before I left after my drinks and it was pretty good. I can’t talk highly enough about Alison, I’ll be coming back just for her.
Good little place to just hang out
Went there early afternoon.
Few old timers were there.
Waitresses friendly, atmosphere was ok.
Small but fun and friendly atmosphere.. the closet bar around in a 20 to 30 mile radius.. there are many regulars that will treat you like family
I don’t know about the bar but the Casino has really bad customer service they need different workers.
