If you need your computer fixed or a guitar, this place is where you need to go. I always go there to get my guitar sounding how it should. They never let you down. Good people!
This place is amazing, fast service and the cashier was very helpful
Great prices and great service. Had new strings and hardware put on my guitar, no complaints.
They know their business
Great guitar store, bought an amp here but a tad but overpriced, though im proud to support small businesses. But overall good store.
I took my computer here for repairs a few years ago and was very disappointed with the results. I couldn’t tell if they had done anything or not. I won’t be returning to this place and will not recommend it to anyone.
I went in this place a few years back while visiting family in between shows. They make great quality acoustics and I was about to buy one….. however the guy behind the counter (Don’t remember his name but said he was a drummer) was being a complete dbag from the min I walked in the door. I tried to lighten the mood but he got worse so I just put up the guitar and walked out. Hopefully the guys been fired, quit, or moved to Pakistan…. You must be careful to treat customers well because you never know who’s walking in, or got a wad of cash in there pocket.
I would not even rate him a one star. He overcharges and when he says he’s going to fix your laptop by a certain time he does not. Also, when he can’t fixes it, he calls the day of its suppose to fix to tell you he can’t! This place is horrible, your better off using Youtube to show you how to fix your laptop/computer and Amazon to buy your parts! I came out way cheaper. For example, his price was $180.00 but I fixed it for $28.00.
Had a wonderful evening there celebrating Faith Workz Christmas Party. Jcthedj is awesome. Would recommend to all my friends.
It was. Grea3 session.
I was just now calling because I needed help & nobody is answering. I am actual surprised the phone is ringing this time. Because last time I called the phone was disconnected!
Exceptional repair shop. Knowledgeable staff. Good inventory of guitars, keyboards, and band instruments. Good selection of brasswind mouthpieces. Highly recommend to my friends.
Always good
It was very nice this man had a really nice and understanding voice and it was very well organized
Prices were high
They didn’t have the parts to fix the guitar I brought in for repair.
Excellent Service…
This place sucks….. never calls back. Lost application and 2 months later decided to charge my account without informing me. I would give less stars if possible. Once I contacted them was informed that they didn’t have the instrument but could give me a loaner. I would advise not to waste your time. They will also give you the run around and make every excuse possible on why the device is so poor.
If I could rate lower I would. Deceiving practices. Do not do business with this place.
Do not recommend purchasing or renting your instrument through Arts. Their website tells the tale. No band instruments to browse or buy. Just links to credit applications.
Somewhere between the 90s when I got my first Trumpet and wife got her flute from them and now, they became a secured loan company that services instruments.
Their focus during our shopping experience was more on getting our bank account info and social security number in case we were to default on the loan. With questions like are you local? Oh your military? Do you have any relatives nearby? Leading to well we can’t accept just a debit card on file for this rental agreement.
It seemed apparent that not being local and being military is an issue for them. I have bought a trumpet outright cash from them recently and found it odd they kept pushing their rent to own program despite me buying outright that time. I now understand why. It is because they make more money through financing a beginner instrument at a padded mid range to proffesional price. Further they collect copius amounts of personal and financial information without providing full financial disclosures or truth in lending disclosures. I’m not a lawyer though so we’ll leave that for litigation.
If you need to purchase an instrument for your kid. You are better off getting financing through a credit union and purchasing out right. DO NOT give your information to Arts they are acting as a bad faith lender. This is predatory lending practices towards those who have no option but to finance their childs instrument. Pay attention to the fine print and lack of disclosures such as interest rates. Most importantly get the instrument model information and price it elsewhere. You do not have to succumb to pressure of buying at your school’s band night.
The most disappointing thing here is a business dishonestly leveraging schools, teachers and children to make a buck. Fortunately I have other options and means with more honest music shops.
9. Carousel Music LLC
Address: 418 Westgate Pkwy, Dothan, AL 36303 , Dale County , Alabama , United States
They have very friendly staff and atmosphere. Excellent music instruments at an affordable price, great quality.
If they don’t have the instrument that you’re looking for in stock, Carousel Music will order it for you.
Excellent help and advice, the prices are great too
Great experience
I brought a subwoofer to be repaired here and after many attempts are retrieval, the company “lost it” and wouldn’t call me back. If you like having your nice stuff misplaced and companies not willing to help you find it or replace it, then Carousel is your place!
10. Mission Point Marketplace of the Dale County Rescue Mission
Address: 186 N Union Ave, Ozark, AL 36361 , Dale County , Alabama , United States
As far as thrift-type places go, this is a good one! It could stand to be a little better organized, but it offers a lot of different things and staff was very friendly. Some prices are better than others. I got a few pairs of shorts for about $3-$4 each. However, many furniture items were overpriced in my opinion. But overall a good thrift experience.
I’m a regular customer here.
The new lady that works here with the long skirt and hair is always pinned up and older is VERY RUDE! She always gives me a hard time. besides that
This is my favorite mission point. I always find something worth buying and the rest of the workers are great. Their very friendly and helpful.
I was okay with them charging higher than usual prices at first with all they do for others. And they do. But I’m really not okay with disparaging remarks being made, political ideologies being spouted, or ignorant remarks being loudly proclaimed. That fact I just heard all that today with my own ears and how they overcharge for straight up junk… there are better thrift stores that do more and say less. ✌
11. Love’s Travel Stop
Address: 3771 US-231, Ozark, AL 36360 , Dale County , Alabama , United States
This was a great stop. The restrooms were really clean. There were lots of good food options other than your normal gas station stuff. They had fruit cups, boiled eggs, cheeses, sandwiches. The lady at the register was very sweet too.
Good place to stop for fuel food girls and they are really nice
Clean bathrooms A+
Little under staffed current staff not as experienced as they should be
Very nice people
I was Shocked! This morning I stopped in to buy an item and use the restroom. I heard the most rude and condescending announcement I have ever heard in a truck stop. Apparently the manager was upset that a truck was parked in a fuel lane for a while. What made the matter worse was that this manager was still carrying on by the fuel register, so everyone would be aware that that he was in command, and those were “his” pumps. As I walked out, I noticed that half the pumps were completely clear on this beautiful Sunday at 0935am. While theoretically, it is not proper manners to park at a pump without fueling; it should be noted that truck drivers have to put up with a lot more from truck stops, than the other way around. My recommendation is to atleast retrain this person with a manager title; but it could possibly be better to start over with someone else. I will stop visiting this truck stop at this point, unless this store will assure me that this cancerous problem has been resolved.
I read everyone coming in to this place and having a good time. I guess it’s just me who’s sour!
I’m a dark skinned Puerto Rican. Often mistaken by caucasians as an African American.
1:am 1-6-2018: So I walk into this loves late at night, with two caucasian ladies at the register who saw me come in but didn’t great me. I get to the Arby’s register, and the little caucasian girl at the register doesn’t say anything to me, just stares at me like if she had something better she rather be doing.
I didn’t experiance nothing bad, just the cold shoulder. Which prompt me to block this place on my GPS. I was running on an 1/8 Of a tank of fuel. At that level of fuel I usually full up in the morning, but not at this place. Fuel was $2.88 gal, I would get about 270 gals before going back up north where the fuel is really expensive “$3.45 a gal”. But I won’t be fueling at this place. I’ll take my $800 someplace where I feel welcomed!
I did not appreciate the manager following me around the store . like I was going to take something.
my husband collects skull everything. and I always stop in to see what they have new. well let me just say I WONT BE BACK!!!
12. Metro Music
Address: 155 S St Andrews St, Dothan, AL 36301 , Dale County , Alabama , United States
Staff is very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to play instruments uninterrupted to make a selection, but remained close enough to answer questions. They made suggestions but were not pushy. Staff is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for all your guitar needs!
Visited Metro a couple times since I have lived in Dothan. There staff is knowledgable and possess a unique technique of helping a customer (that may not be as knowledgable) that doesn’t leave them feeling stupid and frustrated!! They have a great selection of guitars and their prices are fair. By a long shot, in both quality of the product and level of skill, I would say Metro is the best shop that I have visited period. There is a humble quality about the store coupled with talent that makes it a great experience all the way around. I would highly recommend this store (and I do) to anyone that is looking for high quality service and gear, from beginner to expert these are your guys.
My son got a guitar for Christmas and my wife was trying to learn on his guitar to teach him but it was too small. We stopped in here 20 min before they closed on a Saturday. There were 2 regulars hanging out and the employee behind the counter immediately put them on hold to help us. We know nothing about guitars and he took the time to explain a lot to us. I had planned on letting my wife buy a starter guitar for less than $100, but after listening to why they didn’t have any that cheap and the benefits of what they do have I let her spend $200 without hesitation. This is the place to go if you want to feel good about what you spent your money on.
Not very well stocked. Had to go to a different music store for the rest of what my son needed for band, or I could wait a week.
Fun friendly staff
Only giving 4 stars because l never give 5. In the event I’m ever truly blown away by a business where am l to go if I’ve already peppered 5 stars everywhere…
That being said, I do repairs and mods from the house. So l usually order my supplies online. I was pleasantly surprised that metro had everything I needed to finish a job in a pinch. They hat the exact 500k pots and capacitors l needed in stock. Knew exactly what l was talking about and had it in my hand and out the door in less than five minutes. At a reasonable price too…

The MacCormack family was truly a blessing to our church! Looking forward to them coming back to our church!
Outstanding folks that love the Lord!! You will be blessed by this family.
The MacCormack family is the real deal! I have known Josh since we were both teenagers and have seen him live out His Christian faith. Now that he and Ashleigh have begun traveling churches will get to benefit from their genuine heart for the Lord and their extraordinary God-given talent for Christ-honoring music. We were privileged to have the MacCormack family for a faith and family day and our church absolutely loved them. The quality of the music (sound, blend, song selection) far exceeded my expectations. They were a blessing and will become part of our year calendar. Do yourself a favor and have them in at your church or event!
Mike and Shawn are both super knowledgeable and helpful guys. They really know their stuff and are quite fair. Worth stopping by and is very beginner friendly, but also can cater to the pro. Thanks for the great shopping experience.
Great place, highly recommend going here if you need music equipment
Great customer service and selection. We highly recommend Mike’s music. We have purchased several items and will be returning.
Came back for a second time hoping that it was better than a previous visit which occurred maybe a year ago. Nothing changed! Had a sarcastic attitude and told jokes. This guy has poor customer service. I wouldn’t dare step foot in there again after today.
Will never shop there again. He doesn’t stand behind his product. Brought a brand new keyboard from him and didn’t even have it for 2 months. All of the A#’s/Bb’s went out and he wouldn’t even take a look at it or even offer anything to help fix his shady product. Thought I found a place to get good quality instruments at a reasonable price but definitely was wrong. Now I have to spend more money on a new keyboard. I will never shop at Mike’s Music ever again.
17. Loose Brick Coffee Co.
Address: 128 W Ct Sq, Ozark, AL 36360 , Dale County , Alabama , United States
I support all small business in this town, this place has a great atmosphere and good treats & real coffee. Stop by and check them out! and the older male owner is cool he’s a sociable peoples person you will love him…good place to chill with social distancing. “Wear your mask”
Not a big fan of the short hair cashier girl that is supposed to give friendly customer service. She seems uninterested in being at work and helping the customer. But love everything else about this place.
Kid-friendliness: Play nook by the big windows at the front of the store. Kids love sitting around the ledge of the window and playing with the toys provided under the kids table
Great little place. We will add this to our drive when we are driving to Dothan. The atmosphere is nice and the food and coffee was great. If you like your condiments lightly added you should mention that because they are generous with everything. So happy to support a little local bagel/coffee shop.
Great
Great coffee. Good food selection.
Good friendly service, coffee is good and the bagels seemed pretty fresh and good. Not a NY bagel by any means, but still good.
I would love to speak to whomever is the owner of this new establishment to inform them of an incident I witnessed in their business regarding the way the staff poorly handled a situation involving a potentially homeless man.
Coffee taste great though.
In response to your reply:
Firstly, I’m truly sorry about what happened to your wife. I do hope she is doing ok from the interaction with the man.
And I am sorry to put it so plainly, and I don’t mean to be unkind, but how are you even sure that you know who I am and what exactly is the issue I needed to address?
How are you sure that you were in the building at the same time I was – because a man who comes in 2 or 3 times a day happen to be there?
I don’t believe our interactions are the same because you just informed me you wouldn’t give him any coffee, but when I walked in he did have coffee, which led to the series of events that brought me here.
However, if you were there at the same time I was, as you assume, then you already know my complaint because you witnessed it happen, and perhaps do not believe it is warranted, and that really is all I need to know.
(When responding to the next Guest’s concerns, please let them tell you what it is before assuming you know what the problem may be and volunteering a response — once again, I truly am not trying to be rude – which is what delayed this response to find the kindest way to put it, because I have no desire in arguing with someone over the internet. I only reached out this way because it seemed the most professional and I work in the same industry and thought you as a owner of a new business would want to know. Just a kind suggest from someone who was very excited to have a local coffee shop, only to be let down on the first try.)
Just okay
I would love to say we enjoyed it. But we’re here on a Saturday and sitting in front of a locked door. The signs say they should be open and there’s no signage saying that there’s low staffage or anything to validate us driving out of our way to try a place that is closed. Maybe we will try later… maybe not.

Ozark Wal-Mart is one of the best run of all the Walmarts with in a 200 mile radius. The store is well kept with very few issues . Most importantly the Associates for whom this is a daily grind , are very pleasant and helpful . Two thumbs up to the Ozark Wal-Mart !
Clean and staff at entrance were really nice
Very clean store and great variety of products.
Just a regular Walmart, crowded, clean enough,.
Unless you’ve got a couple hours of your life to waste, don’t go there for prescriptions! I was first in line when the Pharmacy opened and it took the 4 people in the Pharmacy over an hour to walk out to the diabetic supplies located not 10 steps away, pick up a box of test strips, stick a prescription label on the box and tell me what the prescription label already stated on how often to use the product we’ve been using for 4 years! However, that 1+ hour wait did afford me the opportunity to walk around in the store and spend over $80 on other stuff I probably didn’t need anyway. Walmart marketing strategy? I’m thinking so.
Dont like their gestapo polices that are in place during the lockdown
