Just picked up some DeMorrow M1 practice marimbas and they are incredible! Beautiful, built like a tank and sound amazing for a practice marimba. Doug and his team are great people. I recommend them for all your marimba needs!
Purchased a 5 octave padauk practice marimba. Sounds wonderful and a great value!
I got a Demorrow 5 octave studio marimba 10 years ago, along with his mallets. What BEAUTIFUL SOUND, and people are always blown away by it, as well as myself practicing at home. Doug is knowledgeable, professional, and a real craftsman.
4. Music Center
Address: 2809 W 28th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71603 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
Best place to get your kids started off for their musical needs
Very nice place
Very friendly staff!
Lovely and very friendly staff. They are so welling and happy to help you with anything you need or may have questions about. Definitely recomend going here. Only reason didnt give them 5 stars, is some of the items/parts are pricey compared to online. But if you need it immediately or just cant find it online then go here. I’d also recommend comparing their price for what you need before making the decision. They have things on sale.
The lady that works in here, is like you are bothering her when you come inside the store, like really? Anyways after coming back in to make a payment as my wife had forgotten to one time, she didn’t mind being nice once she knew she getting money. Flute is almost paid for, and will never come back if we need another item.

Address: 5121 Warden Rd Suite A1, North Little Rock, AR 72116 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
Nice in order a few new items always good to see also clearance in sporting goods department
Love it
One checker only !!
Can we please get a photo center back?
Easily the tiniest Walmart I’ve ever encountered. Limited hours make it difficult. Nice to allow truckers to park. Much closer to being a family dollar than a Walmart proper.
Nothing u need is ever n stock. And heaven forbid ask an employee when something is at, or ask for help looking for it. And the supervisor’s r just as bad. And talk AB rude! omg !!! I got to where I hate going n there. And they’ve raised the prices so ridiculously high it’s outrageous, u cnt afford to buy anything!
This is the first Walmart I’ve been to in decades that don’t sell cold groceries. They have milk and eggs and nothing else. I guess if you want an overgrown dollar store without cold food you’re good.
This is not a real Walmart. It doesn’t even have groceries! If you need groceries in Fordyce, head to the Mad Butcher.
9. Guitar Center
Address: 12315 Chenal Pkwy A, Little Rock, AR 72211 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
Great experience, everyone was very helpful. A retired marine helped me out in buying my first guitar and he was brilliant.
Awesome place!! My husband is like a little boy in a toy store when we go shopping at the Guitar Center!! Lol… He always says “I can’t promise how long I’ll be in there”.. Thank you for such a great selection!! The staff is pretty awesome too!! ☺
Great selection of gear. The people are always helpful.
Great service, they were really busy for a Sunday afternoon.
It is what it is. I don’t like going here
But my son Jackson wanted to look for a 7 string.
The sales associate was very helpful without being pushy, and knowing when to leave us be. Can remember his name, kind of tall, skinny, chin lenght blond hair.
He showed us a Jackson 7 strng
And a Sterling 7 string. Jackson gtr was 169$ Sterling was 789$.
Jackson played the Jackson and decided on it. Enjoyable visit over all
Nice place to see electronics
Boring and overpriced this company is going to lose all that money online sales and the equipment is never connecting up correctly
Great
They are making people stand outside in the heat for way too long.
10. Palmer Music Company
Address: 1131 Front St, Conway, AR 72032 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
Hands down best service, best crew and best purchasing experience of anywhere I’ve been in the nation.
Lance Oden
I took my guitar in for new strings and general cleaning. The gentleman on the phone told me that it would be a couple of days if I remember correctly. I got called about three hours later saying it was finished. They had straightened the neck of my guitar and gone the extra mile to do you some custom adjusting to make the strings closer to the frets for easier playing. Recommend these guys very very much!
First time to visit Palmer Music Company. Oh my gosh, so helpful and very friendly.
My guitar was in for repairs for about 4 months. Almost no communication was provided about status of the repair work. It’s understandable with Covid making it difficult to have parts shipped, but the lack of adequate communication was uncomfortably disappointing. I don’t blame the young individual who was working on my guitar, but rather leadership who should have provided direction on appropriate and timely customer service communication. It doesn’t matter to me that it would have taken considerable time for repairs. But the lack of communication stating that due to a backlog in parts, and it was just a waiting game, would have been enough. A 30 second phone call every couple of weeks or so to advise a customer that no progress has been made is better than nothing…it would have been enough to have left my guitar there for months longer. The ironic thing about all this is that I really like the store and the people at Palmer Music, so I will most likely continue to purchase my music supplies from them and I hope my experience there was a one-off….
I was looking at electric guitars and they didn’t offer to let me plug any of them in. How are you truly going to know if you like one or not if you can’t hear the sound.
Usually busy because they’re good at what they do!
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).
Just love this place, friendly staff and can find anything you want or need for entertainment.
Great prices good service
Cd/dvd specialist. Buy and sell
Several of the movies I’ve bought there were scratched so badly they wouldn’t play. I only bother returning them when I don’t mind the risk of getting that one cashier who won’t let me buy anything without having an email. Everything else about the store is great.
Went to this FYE and the store was fantastic up until check out where the cashier tried to sneakily enroll me in a monthly magazine subscription without being upfront about it. I know employees are unfairly pressured to get a certain number of people to sign up for these things but this is not the way to get them. Very slimy, dirty, and underhanded.
For a dying franchise, their prices are$$$$$.one of the only retail places I know you can still get cds if that’s your jam.
Wandered into the Hot Springs Mall location. Yes, there is so much to look at but the prices are stupid high even with whatever sale they have going. Second, my 16 year old daughter was purchasing a marvel canvas and the clerk talked her into a 10% discount by signing up for a music online service that had a rotating fee. The clerk knew it was for adults over 18 years old but still convinced her to sign up. My daughter was happy about the discount when she told me outside but when I read the print at the bottom I had to explain what it meant and the clerk never told her. I went back into the store and confront the clerk who admitted to doing so to a child because she even admitted she gave a false date of birth to do the subscription. I talked with the manager about policies and procedures. Not happy with what happened.
13. Record Rack
Address: 2801 S Olive St, Pine Bluff, AR 71603 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
I’ll never forget my time working there. The owner Pat, should get more recognition for keeping a business like this going for as long as he’s done Especially since the internet makes things easier to get. I know A LOT of people enjoyed getting music earlier than the release date. The musical history in the store is nothing short of amazing. Always loved the extra mile that Pat would go to get you the music you were looking for (As long as it was available somewhere.)
This store is a staple of our city.
Only place in town with such items. Music, jewelry, metaphysical items, essential oils, incense, games, items for the bedroom , etc. Lots of other items. Very nice and helpful owner and employees.
Excellent people and products love the relaxed atmosphere great place!!!!
Good
Love this place. If u love good music and want the original cds n not the edited versions then this is the place to go. Also the only place like that in Pine Bluff.
I’m so glad they sales ticket, for the major attractions.
It not all the names says. You would think they would have more records then anything else. And this is not a store to bring kids in to.

16. Bensberg Technologies
Address: 2005 Fairview Rd SW, Camden, AR 71701 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
We recently contacted Bensberg Tech to revamp our sound and add some additional cameras to enhance our online experience at our church. From the first moment I spoke with Jerry i knew i had made the right call. Start to finish the easiest and most thorough company we’ve dealt with in regards to Sound engineering-audio visual. I could go on, but we are completely pleased to have worked with and highly recommend Bensberg Tech for all your audio-visual needs!! Thanks again guys!
If you have a tech need, give these folks a call. They offer top quality consultation, equipment, installation and training for all of your technology needs. I’ve known Jerry and his crew for many years and they are the best of the best!
Professional yet personable, and very available. I appreciate the service.
17. Redbox
Address: 1123 US-79, Fordyce, AR 71742 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
Randy was awesome. Knew exactly what I needed and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t want or need. Fantastic. Will be back for sure.
Very nice pleasant atmosphere.
If you are looking to learn to play guitar, look no further. Randy is the guy to see. He is very informative and shares his knowledge with his students. His shop is filled with all kinds of guitars, banjos, ukuleles. Stop by and check it out
Selection consists of mainly guitars, basses and a few country oriented instruments. Limited selection.
Not a super big store with lots of options but they have the things I need
Great store
Biggest piece of trash you’ll ever meet in your life.
19. The Musician’s Exchange
Address: 2221 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
Love this place I’m not the best with names but the guy there is very helpful and friendly down to earth and knowledgeable
Always great
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They made renting my daughter’s clarinet for school a breeze and fulfilled my order within 24 hours. Upon picking it up, they were very accommodating and also briefed me on a few key things I would have not otherwise known about. Pro Tip: make sure your child does NOT peel the label sticker off, as you will be out 3-4 weeks to order a new one in the event you need to send it in for repair. Musicians Exchange makes renting affordable. Highly reccomend. This is also Northridge Middle School’s music shop of choice!
the staff is helpful. Just check the things out before you buy, the stuff is used so check it out and make sure it works the way you want it to work.
Friendly people but kinda pricey
Had a hard time trying any of the basses or bass amps….nothing was even plugged in…..had to run extension cords all over the place . Then the basses and amps were so crowded could not move to even try the gear out. Didn’t feel like rerunning power to the whole department to try any other amps out. Shame would have tried more gear out….but just wasn’t expecting to hook it all up myself. Sorry guys you lost a sale….take ten minutes plug In couple bass amps everyday instead of sitting out smoking…..dude you know who you are….you shut the door on my wife as you went back in after your cig break….seriously….Shame store has potential
Dropped my guitar off before Christmas was told it would be ready 2nd week of January. Called 3rd week was told not yet. Called 1st week of February was told it was being repaired. Called 4th week was told it would be ready today or tomorrow. Still not ready. Called March 2nd was told still not ready had not started on it had no idea when they would start on it or when it would be ready. Then the smart ass says if I am in a hurry I could just come and get it he did not care.
Hate it I could not find a clarinet ,:(
Unfriendly staff
20. Saied Music Co
Address: 2880 Point Cir, Fayetteville, AR 72704 , Dallas County , Arkansas , United States
All the employees are super helpful and kind. They are willing to take the time to explain options and help you.
Everyone is easy to talk to and friendly. They carry a wide assortment of musical equipment. Typically geared for the student musician.
Always very helpful. Some hard to find items too.
Clean store, nice staff.
Do not let them store your debit card on file. I have an unauthorized charge on my account. ONLY PAY THEM THROUGH THE WEBSITE, NOT OVER THE PHONE.
When I got there I was excited to be buying a ukulele something I’ve been wanting since I was little and when I asked how much taxes were because $82 up from the $54 seemed outrageous the man said idk and didn’t even check it just took an extra $21 and when I was asking questions about other instruments he had. No information literally making me. Still waiting on the money to be back in my account had to go to bed hungry tonight
Pretty great selection of instruments, however I felt extremely awkward with the staff and felt like my questions were intrusions. You could chalk this up to me just being anxious, but I would have much more appreciated an employee who could recommend stuff to me, and willing to help me find what I’m looking for. I’ll be going to A different shop to get what I need
