GREATEST Place to BRING your GUITAR s Go They
ROCK your GEAR!!!!!!!
Contacted multiple times and no response poor communication skills and bad customer service
I went in to the Music & Arts store in Sanford to return sax we had rented for about 2 years. The only thing we had thought we were getting for our money was a son who learned how to create music, certainly a worthwhile thing. It turns out that we were also building rental credit that Music & Arts will allow you to use (with a few restrictions) toward the purchase of an instrument from their store. I am so grateful to Mark for his time and patience in showing me how I could make my son’s impossible dream of owning his own intermediate level instrument a reality by using a combination of rental credit and in-store financing options. This way I was able to purchase the instrument for just a slightly increased monthly payment than I was paying before to rent an instrument.
Mark was friendly and engaging and I enjoyed the time I spent in the store talking with employees and other customers while my transaction was being processed. Mark went above and beyond to get me a high demand instrument in a very quick amount of time and was great at communication. The other employee there, I thought might be a manager but I can’t recall his name, was also super nice and helpful, and made sure the transaction went through without a hitch.
Music & Arts in Sanford is definitely the only store we will use for our musical instrument needs. Thank you so much for an excellent experience.
Very good service and very nice employee the give me all the information I need for my instruments. Thanks
Nick was so kind and helpful!
They sell flutes, do flute repairs, offer flute lessons but their selection of flute music is very limited.
They are exceptionally nice!
It going to be cool
My child and I went here first before going to another local music store on recommendation. I dont usually post bad reviews but thought i must for anyone else having their child starting band. This place will try and pressure you into trying to buy whatever it is they have to sell for the week. the employees are rude and wont give you the time of day if you are there with just questions. not to mention the arrogance felt from them. save yourselves the time and find another store.
The customer service and communication is severely lacking here. My husband dropped off an instrument (July 26) for repair and was told it would take about 5 business days. They gave him an estimated quote and asked if it were to be more for some reason if he would like to be called first. He asked them to call if it would be more than $15 over the quote he was given and they made a note. We hadn’t heard back from them after the 5 business days so he called to check on it (the next Monday) and was told “it was a work in progress” and it should be done by Friday. Friday comes along with no phone call or update. He calls them Tuesday and they tell him “it’s a work in progress” as if they hadn’t told him that the prior week already. There was no update as far as the repair itself went. They told him to would now be ready Friday. Still no phone call so the following Friday he calls and they say it’s back in. (Thanks for the phone call). My husband goes to pick it up and not only is this now way longer than the estimated time frame they told us, it’s now double the cost. No one ever called to tell us a part would need to be replaced because it couldn’t be repaired. No one ever called to tell us it would be more expensive. And no one ever called to tell us it wouldn’t be ready when it was supposed to be. So instead we waited almost 3 weeks for a “repair”. We had to reschedule his music students twice each because of the lack of communication and competency from this store. There was no apology, no one even remotely seemed to care about any of this. Do yourself a favor and find a different location for your instrument repairs, they clearly do not care.
I was not allowed to shop at this store because I didn’t have a mask. I really feel discriminated against. All I wanted was some guitar picks. That would have taken like five minutes. I guess I am going to find another music store that will not discriminate against me just because I’m not wearing a mask.

Brad and his team provided quick responsive service and products that solved both my wifi problem and some connectivity issues on my stereo. I would highly recommend Crowne Audio.
I have worked with Crowne Audio for over 10 years and have bought 2 TVs, a subwoofer, and a stereo receiver from them and they did a custom install on one of the TVs. I worked with Brad Sundberg on my last 2 purchases and he went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted and that it was all working perfectly. Thanks to Brad and the team for great service!
If I could give zero stars I would. Got a proposal for 7,000 to add more cameras at my property. Schedule the job and then they come out and tell me it’s going to instead be 11,000. What was the proposal for then? Now I can’t get the job done that I budget for. If the price difference is going to be so much check the wires before proposal.
Terrible place. Purchased a projector that had a major technical issue. It would obvious that the projector was never tested before sale. Drove over an hour to pick the item up. Manager told me I could return the item. I Asked for compensation for gas money and he told me no. I had to drive a total of 4 hours to purchase and return item. Very unprofessional and disappointed. I would not recommend.
The owner of this company is a nasty and very dishonest person. I would think twice before allowing him in your home or working on any of your electronics!!!
Olga is definitely worth checking out. Most teachers offer some kind of free trial lesson so my wife and I checked out several teachers before we
finally met with Olga and agreed that Olga was the right fit or our daughter. For us, finding the right teacher was important. Olga has everything you would want in a piano teacher: a love for music, respect for good technique, the right balance of warmth and sternness, much experience, and more. I drive my daughter almost an hour to get to Olga because I believe she’s worth the drive.
Best teacher ever! I have such a big progress with her! I enjoy every single lesson and than I am motivated to play at home! I truly appreciate her work:) plus she knows so much about music, you just can’t stay ignorant with her
Wonderful Piano teacher. We are lucky to have found her. My daughter goes to Miss Olga for Piano lessons and she loves the time she spends with her. My daughter’s piano skills have significantly improved after she started taking lessons from Miss Olga.
8. Music Shack
Address: 702 S US Hwy 17 92, Longwood, FL 32750 , Heathrow , Florida , United States
I have been a customer from day one. Purchased sound equipment, key board, sold keyboards, purchased music and given good advice when needed.
It looks good. I only went to return an instrument.
Rent 2 musical instruments for 2 years at a good price, quick response every time I had a problem, insurance is highly recommended. When I finished and returned the instruments I had no problem, the instruments are of very good quality
The staff were easy going and helpful .
We aren’t a musical family (we listen to it, we don’t make it.) but my 6th grader decided to try band. Knowing nothing we went to the Music Shack as it was on the recommend list from my daughters middle school. The woman who helped us was very nice and didn’t try to sell us the most expensive mouth piece for a tuba, knowing our daughter might not stick with it.
The other places I called about getting the items we needed charged 3 times the price. I realize that there is different qualities for the Bach 18, but the woman who helped us understood that $140 is a lot for something my daughter most likely won’t stick with. She also had everything else we needed and it was very quick and simple.
The only thing I could say that was slightly negative was a lot of clutter in the store. But that is more about personal preference than quality.
Place looks a little messy but one of the sales man was very nice and helpful.
Very disorganized, have you running all over the place to just get one simple equipment.
Awful customer service. Sons middle school tried to push this business for band rentals. I called early on a business morning and Received their voicemail. I left a message and it’s been days where no one could handle to spend a few minutes to contact me back. I rather bring my money elsewhere.
Edited to respond to owner. Yes I’m aware everywhere is short staffed due to Covid. That’s why I was ok with waiting DAYS for a response but never got one. You did not hear my voicemail yesterday because like I said , I left it last week and have gone DAYS without the business following up. I was patient and understood that due to Covid I might not get anyone to answer their business phone immediately. I waited DAYS for the business to be able to catch up and respond to me but was left in the dark. If I can’t get a question answered before handing over my money, why would I trust that once you have my business I could get through to you for any rental issues in the future. Like I said I will seek other places.
Went for sax repair. Took about 20 minutes just to drop off sax and purchase one item. Sax repair was overpriced and only partially complete. Was partially ready two days after promised. Phil, who does the repair kindly explained to me that it was my fault the repair was not complete and that for an additional fee he would complete the repair. Worst customer experience I’ve had in a very long time. Will not be back.

Very friendly and professional man to help me select my sons ukulele. Merry Christmas! And thank you!
Good people, great environment. Warm, welcoming, comfortable, personal, and helpful to EVERYONE. That’s the best summary after being here for a little over a year. Shopping, lessons, and advice.
We did our homework and took our 11yr old (now 13) daughter a couple places before choosing her first lessons. Cannot express how perfect of a fit this is in all capacities, and never a single pressure for anything– it’s about what YOU feel is best for YOU. Even if it means finding something somewhere else.
I’ve watched them, especially Rob the owner, interact with so many different people, from young kids to sage adults, all walks of life, all levels of skill and types of style, (appearance of income) levels– everyone gets the same respectful treatment.
Shop is extremely comfortable. Waiting during lessons isn’t like a sterile waiting room with plastic chairs. Sociable if you want, private time if you want.
Thank you for a great home and friendly relationship!
Best local guitar shop around. Rob and his staff are always friendly and helpful. The teaching staff is second to none. If you or child needs lessons, this is without a doubt the place to go.
Replaced strings of my daughter’s guitar. Did not tune at all. Poor communication. Was on the phone while checking me out and had difficulty asking / answering questions. Stated would clean up guitar that had been in storage but wasn’t touched. Took several days to replace strings. Would not go here again. Poor service
I was very pleased with the help from my sales rep. while deciding on purchasing a new computer and with the service rep. who performed a diagnostic on my older computer. Overall, very satisfied.
Great service
Good sales can be found often. Great stuff on clearance sometimes.
Xerox, service desk was busy but no one acknowledged our presence, or that of two other customers, prior to all of us walking out.
They always have what I am seeking
We had two keyboard in our office that went faulty. I ordered 3 online plus few other stuff for the office. It showed available for pick up on the website. The next morning I received a text letting me know that part of the order was ready. All miscellaneous items were in stock except the keyboard that I really needed the next morning. So I was left without keyboards and had to run to staples and get the keyboards. I was disappointed that I trusted their availability at store statement and that I had to make other arrangements and make it late to the office.
Too the lady working Saturday Morning Aug 5 around 10:30am, I want to give you a round of applause…not only did you single handily disrespectful a elderly veteran, but you also lost me business as well.
I Witnessed this cashier treat this elderly couple with such disrespect, giving them a hard time trying to price match your overpriced toner at $61 to a cheaper price of $45 she saw online that morning..which she repeatedly told you. Then you go back to check your computer telling her she is incorrect that isn’t not cheaper anywhere…. how dare you. I spent 15 Secs to find this same toner (fulfilled and shipped by amazon for $45) which I was happy to help them save $20. I hope to any manager reading this you give her a lesson on customer service because I’m positive you lost not just me as a customer that day but hopefully everyone reading this.
No one deserves to feel awkward or like a burden for wanting to get a fair price Especially not a Vietnam veteran!
I called 6 times to avoid leaving the construction job site but nobody answered the call so I had no choice to drive first surprise 2 employees talking and laughing at the register to then get my second surprise that the printing center was closed AT 3pm had someone answered I would of saved my time and gas
12. CFS Coffee Heathrow
Address: 1140 Townpark Ave #1280, Lake Mary, FL 32746 , Heathrow , Florida , United States
This was the best lunch place I’ve been to in the Lake Mary area! I got the “Bowl for the Soul” with chicken, and the strawberry limeade. Highly recommend as a fresh meal with great atmosphere!
What a wonderful spot! We were staying at a nearby hotel for a wedding and made our way here each morning of our stay. Amazing, friendly service and delicious food! The breakfast sandwich on arepa is especially tasty. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back! ❤️
Very nice cozy vibe. Was a good place to be and work for the day. Dang good grain bowls too for lunch!
Enjoyable ambience, good coffee and sandwiches, pleasant service if a bit slow.
Menu is way overpriced, and don’t bother with the case pastries.
Hated the multiple burning incense inside. If you have asthma or don’t like smoke avoid going in to order. But food is great and the inside is well decorated. Bakery items were just ok but they tasted like the incense smelled. The salad bowls were fantastic!!! I will visit again but only for pickup.
Very nice establishment. So much detail with the decorations. The Colombian chicken sandwich and the Cuban were great as well as the cold beverages.
I wish they had a homemade hot sauce since they only have a mild white sauce. Having a mild and hot homemade sauce will make it more inclusive for new customers. You can’t replace a homemade hot sauce with cholula. Hopefully they can make it.
I also ordered 4 types of empanadas. My favorite ones were the cheese and the ground beef ones. The shredded beef and chicken empanadas were little underseasoned.
I love the quality of their coffee so that’s a big plus.
There’s room for improvement like everything else in life. I will definitely be back and it’s definitely times better than Starbucks.
Waited 20 minutes for a latte, staff is in no rush to serve customers.
Very disappointed today!! Ordered a Waffle BLT and they brought me the sandwich without bacon then they said they don’t have ham?? So you serve food without the ingredients and don’t even notify the customer to see if they are still ok with the order!? NO the BLT doesn’t have Ham!! Learn the recipe!! The egg wasn’t cooked properly!! Disgusting food!!! Then they bring an overcook burn Bacon that tasted like soap
All the tables dirty, worse service ever!!!
Won’t come back in less than a year quality and went down the Drain!!
I went today and bought a piece of cheesecake to go, I didn’t see the box, when I got home, I realized that this was what they sold me for $5.5 a burned corner of a super dry and cold piece of cake. Very disappointed ☹️
13. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 912 Lee Rd, Orlando, FL 32810 , Heathrow , Florida , United States
Javier was a great help! I’m a total noob. I did a lot of research on the type of guitar and gear I wanted, but there were still decisions to be made. He was patient with his guidance, offering advice on price and value, not just up selling. This store may be across town for me, but will definitely come back. Thanks!
excellent customer service, was helped promptly and was very knowledgeable. All around very happy with the service and the product.
ALWAYS GREAT TIME @ SAM ASH
Had not been to Sam Ash for a while stopped in to pick up some guitar strings posted price on guitar strings were $5 for the Martin strings and 699 for the extra slinky Ernie Ball I was charged 749 for the Martin strings when I ask the sales guy he said well the price had gone up even after looking at the posted price on the string of $5 per set the additional $2.49 per set I purchased four sets of the Martin strings) it is not going to make or break me I would recommend that if you enter this place that you check with sales before you purchase any product I would also recommend that management post the proper cost of the item
had to wait to check out no staff available
Leah in the band instrument department was friendly and helpful. The guys in the guitar department were far more interested in having a personal conversation than in helping customers .
A very dismal store. Their stocking of products is inconsistent and lazy, the technicians are untrained and sloppy, their knowledgeability towards the products they actually do carry is almost nonexistent.
Called ahead to make sure they had what I needed in stock- repeated the item description 3 times- and was told yes, drove 30 minutes to get it, it was not the item I asked for. The employee was unapologetic for the issue, got an attitude, and blamed me. I’ve given this store more than enough chances to get back to its glory days but it has gone too far downhill to get back to being a worthy place shop.
Dropped off my ukulele there for a broken bridge that just needed to be glued back on, was told it would take 3-4 weeks, after 3 months with no update I called them to check on it and was told they had to order a special clamp and it would take another month to come in, after another 3 months with no contact from them I called back and was told they were still waiting on the clamp and couldn’t give me an estimate on how long it would take. At this point I decided to pick it up and try another music store, only to wait around for 30 minutes while they searched for my case because they had lost it, when finally found they told me it got mixed into their regular stock and was sitting on a rack to be sold. The wait time I can excuse, as how quickly a part comes in isn’t their fault, but the lack of any updates on their part and the fact they lost and almost sold my case is insane, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and definitely have no interest in ever doing business there again. Also took it to guitar center after and they told me they could do it in 2 days total, so yeah, forget this place.
Return process was extremely dissatisfying! They asked me a bunch as to why I was returning an unopened, unused product. When I told them they tried to steer me towards an exchange when all I wanted was my money refunded. Got passed off to pro audio to complete the transaction. More questions, more high presssure tactics to get me to exchange. Guy starting helping another customer in the middle of my transaction. Then got smart when I asked him if we could finish up first. the end he waved me off when we were through. Very unprofessional. Will go out of my way and hit guitar center next time.
14. Corona Cigar Company & Montecristo Lounge
Address: 1130 Townpark Ave, Lake Mary, FL 32746 , Heathrow , Florida , United States
Coronas has always been a cornerstone in cigar culture in Orlando, you can find just about a anything from fine spirits to great smokes. Humidors and accessories along with very knowledgeable staff and a friendly staff. The prices are a little inflated but they’re the only game in town. Their FSG home grown tobacco is actually worth a try.
Trendy place geared toward hipsters, some good deals to be had.
Nice big store lots of variety of cigars, staff super sweet.
I do mostly online ordering. Over time, getting less reliable. Two most recent issues were delivery problems and over charging. Not a big deal by themselves, but the three times I’ve had to call CCC to resolve them, NOTHING is their fault. It’s the rest of the world … Good company if you never have to interact with them.
Watched the little manager boy with black beard pick his nose and serve a drink. Disgusting
I would give them a higher rating, but our bartender had the personality of a rock.
Reply to their comment about my rating: Sure, I’ll let you know why I left a one star review. The employees were very rude and downright ugly to someone very important to me who did not deserve to be treated like that and did nothing to warrant that treatment. Do better
15. The Guitar Shop and Learning Center
Address: 3030 E Semoran Blvd # 208, Apopka, FL 32703 , Heathrow , Florida , United States
I am a disabled Air Force veteran. Troy is currently my instructor on acoustic guitar. By far one of the best guitarist’s I’ve witnessed, but a super nice person. I highly recommend him!
Troy is a phenomenal music teacher. His level of professionalism, expertise and patience with teaching children of all ages is remarkable. We started going to him for drum lessons when my son was 5-years-old. His lessons are very well prepared to match the pace of each student. We have taken drum lessons from him for 4 years.
My younger son just started taking ukulele lessons from him as well. I am very thankful for his level of care and patience for each student and I would recommend him to anyone!
If you are just looking for buying instruments, I can tell you he has a wonderful selection in his shop and I have bought multiple through him. They are very competitively priced and there is a style for anyone.
The Guitar Shop in Apopka is fantastic! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly over the phone. When I went in I had superior service by the owner Troy. I knew nothing of the products but he helped me above and beyond understanding the products and getting me totally set up. I see no need to shop anywhere else. Glad they are so close by.
Customer service needs a lot of improvement
16. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 4644 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 , Heathrow , Florida , United States
Expert advice and obtained the exact gear that I was seeking at a very reasonable price. Thank you Sam Ash Music Store for your continued customer service. It was a pleasure to do business with a company that really cares about people. The staff was very helpful and concerned that my needs were met. I have been a customer for years and will always go to Ash Music for my musical needs.
Always helpful and knowledgeable
Helpful, friendly and experienced staff and awesome gear!
Bought my 1st professorial drum machine (Roland mc 303) here in 2001.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
I have been visiting and purchasing in Sam Ash stores for years, and this is the first time that I write a review about my experience on their stores. First of all, depending on the store location the clients can be OK or not. I have very few references in Florida, one is the Sam Ash store of Dolphin Mall in Miami and the other one is the Sam Ash store in Colonial Drive, Orlando. Both are very touristic places, however, I have notice that Sam Ash Orlando has better deals and the staff is more friendly than the store in Miami. Of course, the store in Miami is in a shopping mall with doors open to the mall and the parking, so the staff have to pay attention to all movements of the store, not only to those clients who want to buy a very expensive guitar, which makes the focus on attention more difficult. In contrast the staff of the store in Orlando is more friendly, and the store has a very good selection of products, the only problem is that it is located in a mall that is almost abandoned. In any case, my experience in Sam Ash stores is very neutral, is like any other music store. I think that many music stores should evolve to the new era of musicians, were people is looking more specific things. For guitar or bass players for example, the stores should provide some kind of private booths to test the guitars, amps and bass-guitars without the noise of other guitar players and even the music in the store. For example it seems that both stores have a large amount of space to allocate small booths. Of course, that will depend on the type of clients, but I am pretty sure that I would be more motivated to visit a store with these and other options and I would pay the full price of the item if I can fully play and test everything with enough detail.
Walked into the store on a Saturday to ask about external mic’s for my DSLR camera and they were very helpful, but only showed me one that was a little too pricey for a beginner like me. I walked out and thought about it, and decided to call them (instead of driving back down to the store) to confirm if they have any similar mic’s for a cheaper price. The receptionist connected me to their live sound department, but they were “too busy” to help at the moment and would call me back “in 10 to 20 minutes.” I received a call about 2 hours later at around 5:30pm, which I missed because of dinner with my family. I called back the next day, the receptionist tried connecting me with their live sound department 3 times, but nobody picked up at all. The receptionist said they must be “too busy” to take a call and he could leave a note with them. They must not have received the note because it’s been two days and still no call back. So I call again this morning, 15 minutes after they opened, and the same receptionist could connect me to the live sound department if I want, but nobody is there. “Traffic can be bad, which might be why they’re late for work” he says. I told him it’s been very challenging to find an answer to my simple question, and their store should be able to answer it over the phone, so maybe I could speak with a manager about the issue. He said he would connect me, and after a minute on hold, the music ended and all I heard was very loud fuzz. I hung up, am now writing this review, and will never be shopping at or recommending Sam Ash to anyone ever again.
This place is a morgue, most of the floor space doesn’t have product. Smells and looks like a basement after it’s been flooded.
Guy I talked to in keyboards was rude and rather than trying to answer my questions told me to look it up online
