If you’re looking to throw the best party in town, look no further. Hind’s Sounds is always on point, and will never disappoint. A professional and class act.
attentive and kind staff, wonderful selection of instruments and books, carried all the accessories i needed (reeds, ligatures, music stands, cork grease, etc.) excellent experience, each visit took no more than 10 minutes. perfect for any student of music, young or old.
We rented our daughter’s upright bass from Schmidt’s and had a great experience all the way through. The rent to own school instrument program is phenomenal. The staff were always so helpful and never seemed to be bothered by my “non-musical” questions. We recently were helped by Zach and he was helpful and gave us options for cases to replace my daughter’s broken case. Thanks so much for everything.
Thank you Michael for fixing my son’s saxophone so promptly…excellent friendly service….hands down best instrument service in the area.
Knows there stuff easy finance.
But expensive.
This is a great shop with friendly staff, but sometimes the wait is too long.
They where vary helpful to use
Too expensive
Bought a clarinet from them for 1,111.94 was on sale originally 1900. A year later tried to trade it in. They offered 75$. They services this clarinet as well. Upgraded mouth piece. Long story short bad customer service owner wouldn’t even talk to us. Said he had lots of inventory but we saw none in store. Went to Schmitds and they offered a fair price for this and gained a customer. They were extremely nice. He said he gets a customer a week come in mad at these guys. 75$ smh.
They said “oh we can’t fix your flute because it is a hunter we don’t work on those

Absolutely the best. These professionals know their craft. Super helpful and always very appreciative. Will always go there for instruments and service….Always.
Thank you
My experience here has been absolutely amazing. I could actually absolutely kiss every single one of their employees. They’re so helpful and very accommodating. Me and my boyfriend love coming here just to look around. Also they have a cute parrot. It’s a blue macaw
Great selection of gear! The employees are musicians and you can tell from how they interact with customers. Very friendly, respectful, professional, as well as knowledgeable. Best experience I’ve had from a music store. Period.
New home for ANY and EVERYTHING.
It gives you different musical options and they have small classes that teach music and their businesslike aspect of it is very great as well
What happened to Blues angel Music, in Daphne/Spanish Fort?
Very helpful staff….. wish they had a larger selection of music……
Side burns guy is weird and mean, made fun of my friend because he was new.
Let me start by saying, this is the first bad review I have ever given anyone. My experience yesterday at Blue Angel was horrible. I drove an hour to get a guitar after having a 15 minute conversation with one of the sales associates on the phone to make certain the guitar was there. I had the guitar on back order from sweetwater and it was gonna be a few months to wait for it. I called blue Angel to see if they could give me the same deal and told me yes they could and even give me 5% off. So, I drove to pick it up and the associate by the name of Jacob I believe told me that “there must have been a misunderstanding “ I made certain the details were clear before driving out there. Jacob told me, I wouldn’t be getting the 5% off and also the tunning peg locks would also not be thrown in either “as we’re promised to match the deal with sweetwater” He was very condescending on talking to me and unapologetic. So, I would recommend Sweetwater or even guitar center , at least they have good customer service, rather than just standing behind a desk being rude to customers. I can understand if the deal could not be done due to a mistake or a misunderstanding but I made sure it was clear on the phone and it’s not an excuse to be rude and unapologetic of someone’s time.
Don’t get me wrong but this place has great musical instruments but me and my friends were looking at stuff and we got kicked out when they’re were people playing the instruments around us just like us
6. Leitz Music – Pensacola
Address: 1921 Creighton Rd, Pensacola, FL 32504 , East Pensacola Heights , Florida , United States
Best music store I’ve been to! Everybody is super friendly and are willing to cut prices. Everything is set up nice. They have a main room with lots of guitars and basses, ukuleles, amps and all. They’ll let you play any instrument in the store. They have someone that does guitar and bass lessons in the shop. And don’t forget the cute little cat! (Also super friendly!) Highly recommend to anyone from beginners to pros.
Great staff, so many guitars to choose from, and they provide classes there. Plus they have a cute lil cat there.
Great store. Massive amounts of top grade guitars available. Employees very helpful. The only downside is the entrance. Definitely not for the handicapped.
They can’t quite get the same prices as things you find online, I understand that competition level is very hard to match but these guys make tringas music look like a joke.
I think the idea of needing to have a dealer’s license to sell certain guitar brands is completely unamerican and unnecessary but I’m thankful that these guys are licensed Ibanez dealers seeing as tringas is not. If you want a $5,000 Gibson or a whole store of nothing but high class Blues equipment then go next door. If you want a reasonable selection with a little bit of everything and good prices then go here.
Great shop and awesome staff. Purchased a few items and am happy with the overall experience. Good spot to check for cooler than normal shelf items. Has new and used items. Pretty cool amp selection as well.
Really nice little shop. Good selection of guitars, keys, synths, and gadgets. Extremely helpful crew and very knowledgeable. They have specials not offered on line so drop in! And with the holiday, layaway @ 20% down and 90 days to pay.
Remember when is better!!
I like to support local businesses and buy my guitars local. But being turned away because of not wearing a mask when The CDC even says it ok to go with out a mask is down right bad business! Every other music store including “Guitar Center” no longer requires mask. I was coming in to buy a les Paul standard 60’s that I have been saving for and was looking forward to buying today but because of your mask policy I will order my Les Paul online. Sad thing is I liked your store. Just thought whom ever runs the place should know what their dumb mask policy is costing them.
Manager Rick is nice to work with, but E.C.King is so rude that my son & I will never go back. Saturday 7/1/23 we walked in as a nice older couple bought 2 guitars, but I guess King thought they talked too much because after they left King railed on them for 10 minutes, while my son & I were 5 feet away, made the place seem really negative. Then he was rude to my son about a pedal, and made rude, snide comments to me even though we were being nice and I was at the counter buying a Telecaster. I literally couldn’t believe my eyes and ears, I’ve never seen a guitar store employee act like that, and I’ve been in a lot of guitar stores. Seems like some serious retraining needs to be done at Leitz Pensacola. We saw the opposite at Blues Angel, nice helpful people, and we bought a great guitar there— that’s where we’ll be going from now on.
7. Guitar Center
Address: 6927 N 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504 , East Pensacola Heights , Florida , United States
staff was nice very helpfule and they showed me everything i was looking for
If you’re looking to buy any kind of music equipment this is the place you want to look. Not only do they have a ton of different products to choose from, you can actually try out and play most of them right there in the store before paying. It’s really a blast being able to go around and test out different instruments you had always wanted to try. I will say that the prices are pretty steep on most everything in the store, but they are willing to negotiate or match another store’s price. Definitely the place you want to be if you like music, you just have to make sure your wallet is pretty thick.
Staff is knowledgeable, store is well organized and clean. I just wish they had a larger selection.
Nice folks with a good selection.
Waited 20 minutes for an associate to check for strings as I watched him help 3 people with their purchases before me while he was “looking.” Spoiler alert — didn’t have my strings.
I used to love Guitar Center in Pensacola. Customer service was terrific, selection was great, and I enjoyed shopping there. I was excited to see it come back after it closed a few years ago. The selection is still great, and the store looks incredible, but the customer service is severely lacking.
No one spoke to me the whole time I was there, which is fine, but still not typical of a place like Guitar Center. I went to check out and there were about four employees standing around talking. I had to get the attention of one of them so I could check out. The cashier (His name was Clark according to the receipt) was very cold, and acted like the whole process of ringing up my purchase was a major inconvenience for him. He asked me for my name, which I told him I preferred not to provide since I typically elect not to share personal information when I make purchases, and he passive aggressively slammed on the keyboard before informing me “Well I have to put something”. Furthermore, when I was putting my credit card in the reader to pay, without saying anything, he walked away from the counter to talk to another customer, while there were three people standing behind him who could have done it since he was in the middle of checking me out. I had to flag him down and get his attention to get a receipt. Maybe he was having a bad day or something, but still. This is not a way to treat paying customers. It shows a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I will probably utilize other music stores like Leitz Music or Blues Angel from now on.
Horrible expercience , first off ive been going there every single day playing a mandolin thr mandolin strings are junk over wrapped on pegs. I asked 5 days straight id they would change strings for me so i can hear it. It was excuse after excuse.
Theres a long haired kid in there couldnt be more of wanna be , guitar douche to the max!!!!!
This place is for monkey go support real music stores. People here dont get paid enough to care apparently.
Negative 5 starts!

12. ARC Music and Sound
Address: 3094 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 , East Pensacola Heights , Florida , United States
Best local guitar shop Nate is the best teacher on the gulf coast!!
Walked in one day with my three children looking at upgrading from my cheap old beginner set-up. Nate was friendly and told me to try anything I wanted; he even set me up an amp while I got my kids set up on the iPad. Since that first day, I started taking lessons and he has helped me understand so much more than YouTube has. I feel like I can finally call myself a beginner guitarist and I know this is only the beginning! If you’ve ever wanted to take lessons or you’re learning for new equipment, go speak with Nate and let him take care of you!
I would trust Nate with any of my instruments. He alway does quality work. What Nate doesn’t have, he can get for you….always at a fair price. I always say support your local music stores, but the the quality of work you can expect from ARC makes it easy.
I’m honestly shocked at all of the good reviews this place has. This is a guitar shop, not so much a versatile music shop as I had originally anticipated; and they let that be known as soon as I started to inquire about flute accessories and information. The guy was unfriendly and short saying, “we really only work on guitars here” and seemed disingenuous and annoyed that I was even there asking about stuff for a flute. I’m appreciative that I was able to leave with a little something of a cleaning kit but, I have never felt so unwelcome in a shop like that before and will not be going to this “music store” again. They should probably change the sign to “guitar store” in the near future to avoid anymore awkward, uncomfortable encounters.

My Daughter has been taking guitar lessons since she was 7 years old. She is doing very well now. I am proud to say that she has learned quite a few songs and even plays around trying to make her own music sometimes. She receives lessons from Josh Kaye . He is an excellent teacher. Haley does well most of the time but when she starts to get a little lazy Josh always has words of wisdom that get her back on track. I can’t think of a better company to give lessons to kids. They are always patient and very understanding. I really appreciate the way they give us other things to do with our practice to help with learning the music. Haley has come a long way.
My daughter has been taking piano lessons with RKMI for about 4 years. This family owned music school is wonderful! My daughter has progressed so much. Not only are they talented musicians, their passion for music is contagious! They have been encouraged my daughter to broaden her musical horizons from piano to guitar and now to voice. I love seeing my daughter become the musician she is today. Now that we have to move, it’s sad to leave this dear family. I hope we can find the same music instructors where we will be. Mister Mr. Kaye, Mr. Kaye and Mrs. Kaye, thank you for all you do! We will miss you!
This place is the pits! They are more interested in making money than teaching the kids how to play an instrument. My son took piano there, but yet was never able to play on a piano – only on an electric keyboard because they don’t want to spend the money to have the piano tuned. Also, he was small and needed to use the bathroom and they refused. We had to take him to a store to use the bathroom. The place is dirty and in an unsafe area. Mr. Kaye is a total jerk and has no people skills. Their recital was a joke. Don’t waste your time – find another music teacher.
