Love the staff and it’s a great place to blow off steam
Great customer service, fast response by email to correct my order. Thank you!
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Not to many gun range are like that.
Prices and the range was great. But need for information on the website about the rules.
Amazing experience 10x better then bullseye in Lawrenceville employees actually greeted me when I entered the building. Very knowledgeable and have a wide variety of firearms my next visit will be to shoot the in house firearms
My Wife purchased a gift for our son before Christmas. It was a Bear Grylls multi-tool with a rubber sheath. When he opened his gift he was so excited, I had not seen it up to this point. He handed it to me to take out of the package and I realized that it had been in the sun a while and the rubber case had gotten brittle and broken. No big deal, we would just take it back and swap it out. Before making the drive up there to exchange it my wife called to find out if she needed to dig out the receipt. The woman (owner) who answered the phone was rude and dismissive, stating that they do not accept any returns “All Sales are Final” even on new items. We were not looking to get any money back, only to swap it out for something that was not broken. After speaking for a few minutes my wife talked her into letting us swap it out for something else. She made the drive up there and was able to exchange it for a hunting knife. She also purchased a few boxes of ammo that I had asked her to see if they had. While they did swap out the broken item, they seemed to be annoyed about the whole thing. Even though we were purchasing another $100+ worth of ammo. I have purchased two new pistols from them along with over 1000 rounds of ammo over the past few years. We think it is important to support small business more than ever, but We will not be returning to buy anything at Trading Places due to the poor customer service. In the end they only did the right thing when pressed, but the attitude was very poor and the customer service was non existent. In the end things like this will make me look at buying at a big box store or online. I don’t mind paying a little more to the small business, but paying more and having to beg them to do the right thing is a bit much in my book.
Got the range membership, I canceled some months later and was billed one more time for it. I called and they told me that the bill is prorated. At no point and time did mention this at time of sale or cancellation. What I was told at time of sale was the first month is free, however if i was billed 30 days after like I was then the first month was not free. So they either lied about the first month being free OR they lied about it being prorated, either way they are liars and crooks. I’ll take the $35 lose and take the lesson with me.
Pawn shop part of this business does not have it together. Don’t waste your time.
I came in at 8:00 a little late Ik but an hour before closing. Plenty of time to use the range and clean up respectfully yet one worker refused to let me use the range on oct. 19, 2023 dude was rude as hell closed early and refused my monthly membership over the idea that he would have to clean after me. This guy is ridiculous and should be fired. If the range closes at 8 make sure you say that first. Maybe advertise on the door that the last hour and a half you are open you refuse members going into the range. Will cancel my membership if I see this employee again
3. Music Go Round – Atlanta/Duluth, GA
Address: 3675 Satellite Blvd # 100, Duluth, GA 30096 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
This the place I would go to as a freshman. It has grown so much since I was here. It still has the rock, down to earth atmosphere that I love so much.
Awesome place to trade in unused or old music gear. The whole staff is great to work with. I typically work with Pauly when I come in to the store. Always up front and real with you on gear trade ins!
Every time I come here I have an excellent experience. Always courteous and friendly treatment from all of the staff.
They make it easy to do business by offering fair prices for your trade right from the beginning, no need to go back and forth negotiating.
My latest experience with staff member Paul Simpson was a perfect example of what I just described. Many thanks!
Good place to buy gear if you are on a budget. Used guitars and amps at very reasonable prices for the most part and very friendly staff too. I bought a guitar online from another music go round, but did buy a practice amp from this location.
They have a Large selection of used stuff. Some rare stuff I haven’t seen in a while.
Brought banjo in for simple work. Has been 2 weeks. Just keep getting told “we will call you when it is done”. Not cool. Way too long for such simple work. Other than that, they have an excellent selection of instruments. EDIT: Resolution has been offered and is appreciated. Discount would be great, but free isn’t necessary. An idea of when it will be complete would be great.
Won’t ship items unless it has been in the store for 150 days!!! What a joke.
Poor customer service. Salesman was disrespectful. Had to walk out on a purchase. Very disappointed.
Came in an hour before close to sell some gear. A couple of things:
1. Staff/atmosphere: The staff wasn’t very welcoming and made their annoyance known about me trying to get an appraisal an hour before close.
2. Accessibility: all the amps were disconnected, making it inaccessible to try out guitars.
3. Prices/trade-in value: They have a USA-made vintage guitar listed for $599. They barely offered me $200 for an almost identical guitar (same year, same condition) and claimed that “$200 is what they go for.”
Only reason I’m rating two stars instead of one is because they do have a good variety of instruments.
4. Trigger Time Indoor Gun Range
Address: 7429 Spout Springs Rd #101, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Wonderful atmosphere, service, people and prices. Thanks!
A range is a range…its the staff that makes it fun. With the events and professionalism.
My wife and I used the range on this past Saturday and totally enjoyed ourselves. We shoot over a 100 45 rnds and a 150 9mm rnds. My wife tried out multiple handguns to determine which she preferred for CC.
I have checked around the area, (Lawrenceville, Buford, Gainesville) and TT has the best price on handguns, ammo, and range memberships.
I would highly recommend you check them out.
Great customer service, but prices are relatively high. It’s a great place to shoot. Selection is smaller than many stores in the area.
Friendly staff and nice range. Pretty good prices too.
Always a joy to be here. They have everything I need when I come to shoot and a great staff. I would give 5 stars, but I’ve now had two experiences where I have been talked down to by one of the older workers there. If you don’t know everything there is to know about every gun in this shop he will treat you like a child. When asking a simple question about oiling a gun he quickly responded cutting me off and just talked to me like a kid. I did purchase a gun the same day and waited for someone else to become available to help me out. If he was the only employee there is would have walked out.
Worst experience I have ever had. Showed up with 5 people and asked for two lanes. We were told that groups are only allowed one lane?! That makes no sense. A sixth person showed up and said hey I’m going to get another lane because that’s the logical thing to do. The owner got upset and decided to throw half of our group out and threatened to call the police?? I wonder what that offense would have been since we were polite and we paid.
I’m a huge advocate for supporting local business and families and this is not how you treat your customers. You shouldn’t be in business if you can tolerate people.
The staff was pretty rude. I brought in a Glock 29 to have some Truglow fiber optic night sights put on and to be fair the sights were put on very well but the way the staff spoke was very rude. The person who was asked to put on the sights seemed like he really didn’t want to do it and I was planning to eat and come back to pick the pistol up so I asked if it would be alright if I just left the gun there for 30 minutes or so and came back and the employee stated in a very rude tone that if I forgot the gun there overnight I’d have to pay an FFL fee to get it back. The policy is no problem as I’d never forget to pick up my gun and it’s a fair policy but the way he spoke and the tone he used was like I said extremely rude. I had put loctite on the suppressor threads and had a thread protector over it and they had to put it in a vise to get the thread protector off and that’s not a big deal at all for me even though the protector is slightly damaged and I take full blame for that as I put too much loctite on it but again it’s the way I was spoken to that was the issue. The employee working the counter was a lot nicer and more chilled out but the one who put the sights on was very very rude and I don’t think I’ll ever come back I had 5$ left on my gift card and I think I’m just going to throw it away. I believe the employee who put my sights on was named Ethan. To put it in short great work terrible customer service.
Edit: In response to the owner his name might have been Eric I’m not quite sure pretty sure it started with an E he was about 5’8″ and I believe he wore glasses if that narrows it down he was a white guy.
Edit: Another edit. I take back what I said about the great installation the front sight came loose after less than a month of standard use with no drops. Had an armorer look at it and they didn’t even put loctite on the damn screw for the front site. Lazy.
Bought a gun here. Old man was completely and utterly rude towards me. Should have taken my money elsewhere.
5. Pops Outdoors
Address: 3685 Habersham Mills Rd, Demorest, GA 30535 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Bought two bows from Pops. Very knowledgeable in all aspects. My son and I were novices, and they walked us through. Zero to hero in a couple of hours. Prices are fair as well.
Dale Hope is a LEGEND in the bow hunting community. People drive from different states to see him and he is the only person I will let touch one of my bows. I have been a customer for close to 20 years of Dales. He has built his reputation on honesty and hard work and will continue to be a leader when it comes to archery in the great state of GA. Dale Hope said it best just before I left, “I believe God puts good people together, when I get to come to work everyday and spend time with good friends and family whats better then that? After all my customers are like family.” Dale thanks for all the archery lessons over the years. You Sir are the man!!!
I just got rid of my Hoyt Carbon bow for a new PSE Xpedite and couldn’t be happier. If you own a Hoyt don’t go shoot a PSE as you will leave with it.
They are always humble, knowledge, expirience and plus you have a lots of fun here too!!
Overall a good experience at Pop’s . Friendly staff. Range needs better air circulation as it was nearly toxic walking in after someone before us had fired their AR a bit. Great value!
Always friendly and always willing to help
Had a handful of arrows fletched at pops. Only two were done decently. All others have smashed, crooked vanes. There is glue on some of the vanes. And one fletch isn’t even seated to the arrow properly. Overall a very poor job for $5 per arrow. I’ll just buy my own jig and fletch my own arrows next time.
Awful service. Employees were not busy, three were sitting around, but refused to help me change fletchings because of back-orders and said many were sitting in back room untouched. Also refused to test draw weight because his shoulder would hurt even though he said he has a machine to test draw weight. Their overall knowledge of arrow physics seemed questionable at best and all stocked products were cheap (Walmart grade arrows). Wouldn’t waste my time there
My husband and son went there today to get some arrows for his bow. When my son went out to the truck to get my husband’s bow a bald man started yelling at him to move the truck. He told him it was his dad’s truck and the guy told him to get his dad to move it. Then he followed my son to my husband and started yelling at him. This was very unprofessional my husband’s truck does not run rich and sometimes he has a hard time getting it to crank so he left it running. I it was really that bad all he had to do was politely ask him to move it. If I could give zero stars I would
6. Firehouse Guitars & Music
Address: 612 Medlock Rd, Decatur, GA 30033 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Awesome local music store! I always try to buy my gear here to support the local small business. The staff are super awesome and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend getting your gear or repairs here.
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great music teachers.
One of the best places to get anything for your guitars or your music needs they also offer guitar lessons
This is a pretty good little store. I bought my guitar and amp here
Rip off.go elsewhere. I use to really like bringing my daughter here but they must be under new management. Prices have gotten ridiculous!!!
7. Guns & Gear
Address: 961 Ross Pl, Lavonia, GA 30553 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Great experience at Guns and Gear Lavonia! Donald Cabral was so helpful. Very professional and knowledgeable! He went out of his way to answer my questions, make sure my handguns were in good condition to fire (hadn’t been to a range in many years). He reviewed with me how to clean and lubricate my handguns. The place is immaculate, clean, and organized. Prices for range time are very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Great prices and really friendly.
Came in to use the shooting range and had a good time. Only 15 dollars for two of us to share a lane for 90 minutes. Great deal and staff was friendly and helpful.
Fun to spend an hour punching holes in paper.
The indoor range is nice, the selection of firearms is above average. The customer service varies from day to day, from really good to a little on the rude side.
Not much inventory but a little bigger there need to get a little more friendly or staff Saints be slowing down in their old age
1. Since it’s the only indoor range around there is nothing to compare…in my 20 year plus experience in Law Enforcement and Military I’ve shot and trained at better.
2. I’ll never buy anything from there again. Prices are way over priced and if you ever want to return anything your out of luck.
3. Based on my personal experience they are not a Pro Veteran or Law Enforcement business and only cater to the non-experienced civilians…that is if your part of the local political group that patronage it from time to time.
4. Notifying all of my Military and Law Enforcement professionals and Masonic Brothers to stay away from Guns & Gear. Spend your time and money somewhere else.
5. Nothing further.
Waited weeks for a gun. At least call your customer. No equipment to adjust sights. I’d give them a 1 but at least they have a range. Nice enough folks but poorly run. Place has gone downhill.
Worst gun store i have ever used, and i am a local. I will drive 45 mins to keep from going here. Terrible staff and rude service. Bought several firearms and ammo here over the past three years. Just took a trip to Gainesville last Friday to spend the $1200 i had in my wallet for the lack of service at this “GQ” wannabe gun store.
8. Georgia Gun Club
Address: 1951 Braselton Hwy, Buford, GA 30519 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
First time at the Georgia Gun Club, did the simulator and the pistol range with my son. (A christmas gift from my daughter) Everyone we met was very friendly and helpfull – not the normal behavior for a shooting range. We were extremely impressed. The facility was immaculate, clean and well stocked. We left without our ear protection and called several hours later, they checked and called us right back. They found them and will hold them for our return, Great customer service! Also, the shooting simulator is amazing. You can shoot zombies! Awesome/10.
Lilly was great, especially loved the video… Feel informed and safe.. Love it
Enjoy my time . staff is very helpful. Going to become a member.
Very friendly staff and well stocked store. The firing lanes are clean and definitely feel safe with RSO there. Shooting steel targets on the 100 yd range is a lot of fun and if you get the courage, try out the 50 cal!
They have a members lounge with couches and televisions. Great area to sit in and relax if you aren’t shooting and just you’re just tagging along.
The check-in process can be a little slow at times and if they are busy the wait time for a lane can be lengthy.
Nice, friendly, helpful staff.
I have been a member for 2 years. I originally had a Family membership because it was so well kept and friendly. I ended up renewing as a single because my family was not using it as much as expected. I have also purchased 2 weapons there. In my opinion, that makes me a pretty loyal customer.
That being said, I have recently seen some significant changes in the place. I was there about one week ago and it was busy. I was standing in line for about 10 minutes when one of the people behind the counter walked right by me and took reservations for a lane from 2 people. Then, about 5 minutes later, someone else came to me and took my lane reservation. I ended up having to wait approximately 35 minutes to get a lane. The two people who ended up going before me were not members. While this irritated me, I wrote it off as a simple mistake and probably would not have said anything, except for two things.
Recently, it became evident that membership is not as valuable as it used to be. Members previously went to the front of a line if there was a wait for a lane. Also, there was not time limits on range time. The range has since mandated a one hour time limit during peak hours. This came up today while I was at the range again.
I was on the 100 yard range today and it was not busy. There were several open lanes. The lane I was put on was not functioning properly. The target hanger was loose and I had to manually play with it to get it fully perpendicular each time I brought it back to the firing line. This was irritating and frankly not what I expect out of a top notch 5 Star Range.
That, in itself would have gone off without comment if it weren’t for getting told that “my hour was up and it was time to leave”. When I questioned this, due to the fact that there were several open lanes at the time, I was told that some people were coming in and they needed the lanes. I responded that there were already open lanes and the person behind the counter stated, “well that’s our new policy for members”.
I wanted to bring this to light, as broken equipment, eroded membership benefits and less than pleasant customer service should not be what one expects at a facility like this.
Very poor lane lighting especially near the rear of the 100 yard lanes where good lighting is needed most.
$25 for an hour in the 100yd lane almost double ($20) to share the lane. Essentially almost doubling the cost of the lane per user if shared.
I brought a friend to the lane yesterday and was told that we had to share a lane since there was a wait.
Terrible customer service at the lane counter. Snarkey attitude. I’ll never go back
Today I had a very enlightening experience at one of my favorite gun clubs, frequent visitor since 2016. While testing out my new gun in lane 27, I overheard a conversation of a few Russian men in lane 25/26. They were openly discussing with the instructor/overseer of range of how they were going to HUNT HUMANS between the dates of January 4-6th 2021. They expressed this with a sickening delight. I spoke up and specifically asked the instructor, “Is this really the new culture of your business?” The instructor looked as if I had two horns on my head in silence. Completely taken aback by his lack of response, only having been there for 10 minutes, I quickly packed my bags and proceeded to leave. While exiting, I asked for a refund and the attendant handed me a free pass for my next visit. Unbelievable! Was a free pass suppose to be a peace offering? My expectation was that the instructor responded professionally and expressed a zero tolerance for that type conversation in his range. Yes freedom of speech is active, however, in a firearm establishment, why would anyone condone that kind of discussion? I will NOT support any business that does such!
9. Eagle Gun Range
Address: 109 Woodfield Dr, Macon, GA 31210 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
This is a great indoor range! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is always a range safety walking around so you can feel comfortable shooting in a safe environment. If you need help just ask any of their knowledgeable staff members. They also have a great gun and gun accessory selection.
First time at eagle gun range and very safe, nice and assertive staff. Thank you eagle gun range for my great first experience with yall.
The range is very conveniently located for the Macon/Warner Robins area. It’s very clean and the staff has always been friendly. There is a very nice selection of guns on display. I think they’re getting a bad rap from a few people on here for requiring certain ammo being shot through rental guns. If I were loaning my guns out for people to shoot, I wouldn’t want cheap blazer steel ammo going through them either.
My only complaint would be that they open at 11 AM and there is no A/C in the range. When my wife said that she sure wished they had air conditioning, the clerk said we wouldn’t be able to afford to shoot there if they had to pay for air conditioning. Lol. So we drive all the way up to Fayetteville these days and pay less to shoot in comfort, but more in gas to get there. Not a big deal, as I usually pick up my 75 year old father on the way up, as he is also an avid shooter. If they would open around 9 AM, before it is 95 degrees outside, it sure would be nicer inside the range, but that may be due to city ordnance for all I know.
As the only convenient gun range in the area it’s hard not to recommend them. The staff is great and the pricing is just right. The Range officer does a decent job of keeping everyone safe. There are certain IQ levels that should never be allowed to enter the range and endanger other shooters. Sadly enough I’ve run into this issue a few times and the problem is resolved but not as quick as i’d like with everyone’s safety at stake. New shooters shouldn’t be hard to spot and clueless shooters should be spotted before they even enter the building. We seem preoccupied sometimes with training novice shooters proper techniques while someone 3 lanes over is on the verge of accidentally hurting others.
The range is clean and the staff is friendly enough that they earn the four stars. If the range opened earlier and was updated a little here and there it would be 5 stars hands down.
You can shoot ALL day long for only $10.00!
They sell targets and reloaded ammo.
They also rent various types and sizes of handguns to try out on their range before you buy!
They provide firearms training in a group or individually!
HIGHLY RACIST TOWARDS AFRICAN AMERICANS
Came here to try out a new handgun. Wife came with me to watch. She stood behind me and before I finished up for the day, she ran 1 magazine through it. In the lane I had paid for. These people tried to charge me for 2 lanes. We only occupied 1. Their justification was “well she shot too”. Yeah, in my lane.
I drove all the way to this gun range just to be told I wasn’t allowed to shoot without a $50 lesson along with more lessons before even getting into aiming and shooting, the owner acted as if I didn’t know what a gun was or have even fired one before, I also couldn’t bring my own ammunition and had to buy they’re more expensive ammo to use in the range, we’re all there for the same reason, to be better shots and be more acclimated with fire arms, how am I suppose to do that when I get rudely turned down and told I have to pay way more than what is advertised for, not to mention the half hour drive.
10. Mainstreet Guns & Range
Address: 405 Killian Hill Rd NW, Lilburn, GA 30047 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
I must say this place is awesome! They are very knowledgeable and helpful and very patient with first time shooters. Friendly staff and controlled environment. I was favorite place to go shoot.
Friendly and informative staff. Great facility. Needs mire lanes but still awesome. I’m a regular!
Best customer service all around, definitely will be back.
I came in to buy a firearm and my background check came back with a delay so I wanted to do a layaway. The woman who was helping me was very nice and respectful and patiently waited for her manager to fix, from my observation, was a problem with the computer. The manager did not seem to be in any hurry and took a long time to address the problem. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and I look forward to coming to pick up my gun.
Love the gun I bought from them , and I loved the service I got when I was in the store but when I email them about something and ask if they can honor their policy still they said yes , asked me what type of gun I purchased and I told them , haven’t heard back from them in almost 2 months
Peggy if guns for sale knowledgeable staff small parking lot
The store has a wide variety of guns but when I’ve called looking for a particular gun the employee each time has told me i don’t think we have that one or just plain no, but when i go in the store a day or two later just to look around the guns have been in stock. EVERY other gun store in this area would at least put you on hold and go check.
POOR, POOR and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. As I walked in Phillip looked directly at me and several times there after without speaking or trying to assist me while I’m standing waiting to be assisted. Phillip has POOR BODY LANGUAGE as well but I won’t get into that. The other two employees were each assisting a customer while Phillip just stood there leaning on the counter still NOT trying to assist me nor was he attending to anyone. I am a business owner(hope you’re not the owner because that would be even WORST) and would NEVER have an employee such as Phillip working at my place of business as customers are VERY important. Phillip made business lose money and a customer today. Phillip made business unworthy of my money.
Very poor customer service. These people have no concern about anything but themselves. I ordered a magazine off of the website. I’ve called and they basically are clueless. They say they will call back and never do. Honestly there’s better places to shop from. I won’t be shopping here again.
11. Bull’s Eye Indoor Range & Gun Shop
Address: 221 W Crogan St, Lawrenceville, GA 30046 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
I went in today to purchase my first firearm. Joe helped me and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all. He went over several options with me and made sure he understood what was important to me. I came in thinking I wanted a $800 glock but walked out with a less expensive and more practical pistol. Afterwards I was able to use the range to test my new purchase. I had a friend with me who had a rifle, so we had to wait a bit to get in. Bit during our wait the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Overall: great experience. Love my purchase and will be going back soon. Thanks Joe.
Good selection and friendly staff wanting to insure your safety.
I’ve enjoyed my visits to the Bull’s Eye range, and enjoy browsing the shop
I bought a sig P228, A silencer and a sig Mosquito from bullseye and have shot there on over 40 occasions. When the store is busy it will take some time to get some help but you do have to ask them for help which I like. Im not keen on having some salesman keep approaching me and nagging me while im window shopping. Only issues Ive had at bullseye was the occasional non functional target retriever and once I purchased a mag for my mosquito and it wasnt worth a damn so I brought it in told them I purchased it here and without question or even asking for a receipt I was given a better (metal casing) mag to replace the cheep plastic one I purchased free of charge. You own a gun store you need to be straight forward and honest and these guys are. If they were nice to everyone that came in you would have some real characters down in the range shooting with you so I kind of like that. Their gun prices are pretty good and competitive on most things, ammo is a little high but given its so hard to find anything now I guess it comes with the territory. All in all I would recommend bullseye for gun purchases and range time, its the cheepest place in GA to go shoot still. All the reviews of people bitchin about the rude service and whining about an employee not approaching you, grow some balls and ask for help if you need it. Im sure youll find the staff there rather helpful like they have been to me.
Prices for firearms are very competitive and service is usually top notch bought two firearms from here and couldn’t be happier with the prices paid for them. I’ve spent $1500 here already and the added plus is that their indoor range is very nice and well kept.
I’ll give it 4 stars just because of its great prices on guns and firing range but the only draw back is that that they take pretty long to attend you
If your African American. I don’t recommend here. There look on there face shows they don’t like minority. Employee rudely started talking to someone else in the middle or our interaction with one another. Gave a very racists vibe upon being in the establishment. Would not recommend. We’re not in slavery days.
The people who work here act as if they don’t want black people to patronize their business. They are not friendly and go out of their way to ignore your presence. I would never recommend them and they are the most prejudice gun range I have been. I WILL NEVER GO BACK
UPDATED REVIEW
I did a review of this gun shop a while back, and had only good things to say. On my second visit, I was let down. I purchased an Npapak47 m70, which was supposed to have 2 magpul 30 rnd mags, but was only given one. When I asked about the second, they laughed, and said this has never been offered with 2 mags. I had done research, and knew otherwise, but I completed my purchase, and went home. When I got home, I checked with the manufacturer, and was told that I was correct, that they do in fact ship each with 2 mags, and that goes out to all of the distributors, so there shouldn’t be any that are being sold as brand new, with only one mag. For the drive time it takes to get to this shop, to be laughed at, and written off, is a disappointment. I will not be purchasing again.
12. Dead Center Range
Address: 1759 Buford Hwy NE, Buford, GA 30518 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Great selection of arms and accesories, very competitive prices, exceptional staff. The staff (I talked with Jim and Amber) are VERY helpful and knowledgeable, and were super happy and willing to answer my never ending stream of questions about the handguns I was looking at. I called around, and they had the best price on the pistol I wanted by over $50. Overall, I was exceptionally happy with their service, prices, and staff, and the product I took home. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a local small business for all their firearm needs.
Excellent
Best axe throwing in the area. The electronic scoring system works great. Many games to choose from.
Great staff, good times, too hot in the range lately
I don’t know much about anything related to gun, but I can say that this facility is nice. However, it’s not really beginner friendly, as they give you a quick 5-10 min tutorial and then they just throw you out there.
I had enjoyed going to this range for a while. We were always made to feel welcomed until I ran into this one employee. My son and I were the second people to enter that morning, so lane options were plenty. But for some reason we were assigned a lane that was malfunctioning. You couldn’t read the distance that was set and some times you couldn’t get it to move at all. I went back to the desk and asked if we could get a different lane assigned. He replied that I didn’t need to know the number and wouldn’t move us. All other lanes were unoccupied except one. I said ok and went back to finish our activities. Didn’t want to be argumentative in that type of environment. We left there and tried Georgia Gun Club for the first time. We liked the experience and it’s closer to home. I would’ve continued going to Dead Center despite the distance, I’m a creature of habit. But that customer service goes a long way with me. I provide it in my line of work and look to get the same in return.
My advice, SIMPLY STAY HOME. You might as well shop online. Being in sales myself, I’ve learned about customer service and more importantly sales. If I reacted to customers the way I was treated 9/19/16 pm. I couldn’t stay in business. The store was empty. Which I thought was odd. The first time I was there the place was running like a top. I had finally decided to buy my magazines from there (it was a good price, two mags in one for the SR9). My first stop was before I went to a funeral home. Simple purchase of magazines. $50.00. I knew where the double pack was, grabbed it, put it on the counter, Joked about how hollow the room was, the “salesman” wasn’t talkative or very friendly, but I was going to be late to a viewing anyway, so I didn’t mind the lack of small talk. After the viewing I went back. It’s time for me to just break down and get the Ruger 223 takedown. *If you don’t know anything about this weapon, it’s freaking amazing! My “sales guy”, if you want to call him that, was rude, short, aggravated, impatient, and as helpful to me as Mr Obama. He seemed annoyed that I would ask to see other similar weapons when they didn’t have the one I wanted. It’s a good thing that I already have done my research on Ruger 5.56/223 and knew what I wanted and what I was willing to settle for because he was as informative as an online shopping kart. The SR22, also a fantastic pistol. (I have one, but I wanted the “long”.) “Don’t have it.” And he didn’t even offer to show me the tan one. (Which, by the way, I was also interested in and could have been easily persuaded to acquire that one too.) I dared to ask about the Glock 17, which is possible I would have gotten that one too while I was there, and I told my “sales man” I was interested in that specific model because of the magazine change/work to make it a carry 20rd pistol. “They don’t make a 20 rd Mag.” I thought to myself… “No kidding”. But I played dumb. With his arms crossed and his demeanor looking less than interested in being there. I began to do simple things to see how good/bad his customer service skill level is and see what his reaction would be to SIMPLE questions. I asked for the budget Ruger 223, and decided I was going to get it. (Yes, the wife gave me permission first.) Then I asked for the misc. things that are required. “So, if I get the gun, do I get a better deal for a case?” He rolled his eyes and gave a stern “No.”… I smiled, and realized right there in his response, how crappy he really was. I repeatedly asked about cost breaks for the 2 20rd pmags, (rolled eyes/shrugged shoulders) “No”. I asked about ammo. “No.” (which I couldn’t get cause I wanted a 500rd pack all they had was little boxes or 1000 of 223). Then the final test. (I already knew where the bore snake was) I wanted to see if he would change his stature of crossed arms behind the desk to come and help me locate the item that I was wanting to buy. This obviously bothered him. I refused to leave that location until he moved. I walked around, pushed things aside, kneeled down… And when he finally started his way. I grabbed it. He stomped with indeed a lot of attitude. I continued to smile and personally be excited for the newest member of the family. The point is, stay home. You can find better customer service from a computer screen. I usually insist on purchasing around my local stores and in my towns; but this store… Nahh, I’m good. I dropped almost $850.00, loving my new Ruger, smiles from ear to ear about another gun, but left feeling greatly unappreciated. I do know now why the store was empty this time. Although, he did smile at me when he give me a card for me to come back for 1 free range time… (Sarcasm.* I thought how exciting… come back here… I have a great back yard… I’ll shoot from my porch instead.) I told him “Thanks…” and walked out.
I went to this range yesterday for the first time. I haven’t been to an indoor range for a long time. The assistant at the counter was very unhelpful, didn’t offer to show me how to use the target machine. Seemed very impatient. When assigned a lane I went in and there was a gentleman in there shooting a very loud high powered rifle. Even ear protection didn’t help, I jumped every time he shot. I wasn’t the only one, there was three other gentleman seemingly waiting until he finished because it was super loud and all of them were jumping every time he shot also. They need to make different times for different kinds of firearms. I didn’t even finish my loading my revolver. I walked out and told the gentleman at the desk that I would not even be able to aim at the target because I my body “startled” every time his rifle went off. I didn’t mind paying for the target and eye protection given to me… but he charged me $27 for the lane even though I never got off one shot and was only in there for less than 3 minutes. When I asked why he would charge me for the lane even though I didn’t use it and didn’t even get off one shot he said that “wasn’t his problem”. He had my DL so I really had no choice but to pay, I will never go back here again. Rude, unhelpful and greedy.

13. Master Gunman (range closed/store open)
Address: 1900 Rockbridge Rd SW #33E, Stone Mountain, GA 30087 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
They called me as soon as my lower receiver was delivered. The pick up process was extremely faster and they were kind enough to bring the lower receiver to my car since I was on crutches and couldn’t carry it. I would highly recommend them based off of my recent experience.
Extremely friendly staff, they’ll talk to you and make you feel like family.
Awesome range and customer service!
Decent gun range. A little on the small side so its Kinda cramped. One thing I do not like is the constant cease fire every time someone comes in and out. You may get to squeeze off one or two rounds then have to cease fire for a minute or two then get to squeeze off one more round then cease fire again. The lead is thick here due to improper ventilation, as well as getting extremely hot. Those were the negatives. Outside of that, decent place to practice.
Great prices, really terrific staff. No snobbery.
Stumbled upon this place a couple of weeks ago while looking for a nearby range. It’s not the fanciest place to be, actually it could use a few upgrades, however the gentleman behind the counter is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable! I found out that Thursdays are ladies day which is always great!
My first time to a gun range and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE HERE. I called up for pricing and was told don’t use Groupon because we offer same package a dollar cheaper. Got here and told them I wanted the 30 dollar package that was told to me over the phone. Unknowingly, I was fast talked into Not renting AND a full box (WHICH IS NOT IN THE PACKAGE) and turned out to be 43 dollars. Had I been explained that the full box was not in the package, I wouldn’t have gotten it.
More hostile then a raging bobcat on steroids. I’ll just shop somewhere else next time
They’re in the process of getting settled in. Not very well lit and only one door for entrance and exit so we have to “cease fire” each time someone new comes or someone wants to leave.
14. Norcross Gun Club & Range
Address: 5305 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30092 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Most of the guys here are friendly and easy to talk to. Pretty good selection of guns and nice range. Very helpful with people learning to shoot I’ve noticed.
We always enjoy coming here. The staff is knowledgeable and they have a great selection.
Good shooting range, friendly and competent staff! Looking forward to visit again!
New kid at the Sandy Springs Gun Club was incredibly rude. Asked to see flash hiders and because he didn’t know better he decided to be rude back and then ran off. Poor customer service, hope it’s just him. Love the facilities.
Went to the range with my husband last night and really wanted to leave within 2 minutes of being there, but knew my husband would be mortified if I suggested it in the way I wanted to suggest it. As soon as we walked in the door, a gentleman (not sure of his name but he had dark hair and a sad attempt at a handlebar mustache) reached over and just turned a sign our way when he ASSUMED we had rifles in our bags. The sign stated they weren’t allowing any more rifle shooting that evening due to an AR-15 class. How about simply asking what we had in the bag? Or verbally stating you weren’t allowing anymore rifle shooting that evening? But to be so condescending with the whole sign turn was a put off. We advised him that we didn’t have rifles and proceeded in to fill out the waiver and give our ID’s. My husband then mentioned that there should be a note on file under his name regarding a firefighter discount (because he has been here before and the last person he spoke with when he was there advised he would put a note in the system under his name for this) and this same lovely person arrogantly said he’s sure there’s not – that they only do a military or police discount but said he would give the discount anyway. It was very apparent that he didn’t want to. It was a $7 discount. It’s really not that serious, but it just shows how much you appreciate your firefighters. To think that I was just looking online and thinking about purchasing a membership to this place for my husband as part of his Christmas gift. Glad I didn’t, because I don’t desire to ever return to this place of business with our hard earned money. Upon paying for everything after shooting, we never received a thank you or anything. Not a word was said as we were leaving out, either. I’m not asking to be wined and dined, but geez. Maybe if Mr. Personality was a little nicer to the firefighters, they could give him some pointers on that handlebar mustache that he’s failing miserably at.
Employees were nice enough but this is a gun range meant for practicing and elevating your marksmanship. They charge money for every shot that goes above a certain line on the target. I came in to sight a few rifles and inadvertently shot above the line and was charged for each time. Terrible business practice. I’ve been to ranges all over the country and have never experienced that. I will be spending my hard earned money at another range without ridiculous rules meant to extract more money from customers. It’s a practice range…!
I see your reply and I reiterate, I have been to many gun ranges and I am prior military. I have never heard of charging customers for shooting above a certain point on the target holder. Further, if it were about the covering the costly repairs, how about charge the customer that does the actual damage to the equipment instead of punishing anyone that happens to just overshoot the target? Charging every consumer that overshoots the line collectively punishes everyone even though the damage inflicted may be negligible at best. That is why I consider this practice a cash grab from the customer. Obviously, this is your business to run as you please but as a consumer, I think it is important to contribute to the review process so that consumers are aware. I will be choosing to utilize any other ranges in the area that do not incorporate these business practices into the customer experience. Charge the customer that actually breaks the equipment and not the ones that inadvertently overshoot the silhouette.
15. North Georgia Gun Range
Address: 123 Maddox Cir, East Ellijay, GA 30540 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Great place to shoot. Friendly staff, clean well organized range, reasonable prices.
Called the day of to make a reservation for 4, showed up a couple hours later, and were received by a friendly staff! The man who supervised our shooting was extremely likeable and easy going. Show respect, get respect!
This was our first time at a gun range and I have to say the staff was super nice and very helpful. When we come back to this area, we will definitely come back to this establishment. Thank you guys.
Can’t fairly rate the range because I wasn’t able to go…I called and was told that they would only accommodate a group of 4 or more people.
Knowledgeable staff, friendly, advisive and informative. Reasonably priced
Owner is a total ass. I and four other family members (all gun enthusiasts) were browsing the store. Owner could not concentrate without Hawking us. Don’t touch anything!!!! He freaks out. Go elsewhere.
Go to Blue Ridge Pawn or Top Gun Firearms instead.
I bought a gun from them thinking I could use the range. I took the introductory course too. Nope. Forget it unless you have 10 or more. 9mm ammo is cheaper at Walmart too.
16. Atlanta Musicians Exchange
Address: 2619 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur, GA 30033 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
I very highly recommend Atlanta Musicians Exchange. I took in a vintage Ludwig Acrolite snare drum I bought on ebay that needed repair and cleaning. I received excellent service at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and professional. You’re in great hands with these guys.
Great little music shop. They got everything you need to get started at fair prices. Anytime my kids want to learn a new instrument I’ll be going here.
Great place!
I spoke with the most racist person that I’ve come across in a long time, I think it was the owner. My child called the store on the 4th of July (several times because he is a child and did not realize that businesses are actually closed on the 4th of July). I was unaware that he called so many times. The following day I received a VERY nasty and distasteful message on my voicemail. When I returned the call, I wasn’t even given a chance to speak. He was yelling, using profanity and hung up on me. I will definitely tell everyone I know not do business here and I do not recommend doing business here (especially people of color). I will also post it on my social media pages. There are far too many Music stores that actually respect their customers.
After looking at other reviews, it seems that the owner is just a jerk by nature. I didn’t even see any responses to good reviews, only negative ones. So apparently you enjoy tounge wrestling. I feel sorry for the people that have to deal with you daily. Bless you anyway sir.
Update: Every business was NOT closed. I didn’t call my son did several times. You left a nasty vm on MY phone. And who has no class?? It’s definitely you…
The repair shop sucks
Horrible Customer service and NOT HELPFUL!! Instead of helping we with appropriate prices for my gear, I was ridiculed by the prices I thought might be appropriate. A ‘good luck with selling your stuff at those prices’ is all I got. I don’t appreciate the attitude and lack of consideration. All they could have said was ‘those prices are higher than market currently…have you thought of selling them for $$$$?’. Unfortunately the response I got causes me to NEVER want to shop at this place. Sellers BEWARE.
17. Appalachian Gun Pawn & Range 50 yard Indoor Range
Address: 140 Shelby Ln, Jasper, GA 30143 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Today was my first time at this location and the experience was incredible!
I was there solo but still had an amazing time. The ventilation is top notch, which I really appreciate as well as the overall atmosphere and ease of selecting target ranges with the touch screen system. Even though it was around 2 P.M when I arrived, I only had to wait about 15 minutes to get a lane! There was plenty of 9mm luger to purchase and the Geco rounds shot great. I will definitely be back very soon and kudos to everyone involved in this operation!
Thanks for making my Saturday so enjoyable and I will be spreading the word to my family and friends.
-Mike H.
Best folks great business
Friendly people, great customer service, great prices. Today was my friend and I first time shooting on a range. We have always went to our hunting club or somewhere safe to shoot. So we had no idea what to do when we got there to shoot on the range. Employees there had no problem educating us how to get signed in and teaching us the lingo and operate the shooting range target system. After my experience today I will be shooting on they’re range more often. I would highly recommend anyone to them.
Ok selection of guns, a little pricy
Great selection of accessories. Customer service was not good.
Good gun store but the phone system needs work. Once you call the gun dept it will ring maybe 5 times and then if no one answers it will just hang up on you. Very annoying.
I don’t know how these guys can have a 4.9 first walked up to the counter the 2 sitting there wanting to finish a casual conversation before looking at me and asking if they could help the owner was not friendly and seemed annoyed, I asked for a certain ammo they said they were out of but had plenty, not for for range use, instead of selling me few boxes and taking care of customer they let me walk out with out a word, clearly they wanted me to pay for their over priced ammo. This places prices are to high and and the a are not willing to try to help a customer , guess I will be going to cherokee gun and pawn where the prices are better and they are friendly, that’s what you get for trying to support local , will never go back
I am fresh to buying guns. I thought i was buying a new gun a sig sauer. It is so used it has rust on it. being naïve i paid for it full price when people down the road were selling used sig sauers with safety and laser add on for 450, I paid 509 for a new one but they lied. when i got home i noticed rust and scratches. my friends and family all realized it was well used. i called them for a replacement but all sales are final. They lied to me and overcharged severely disappointed avoid if you are new to buying.
Pawned my gold ring and told me he would give me 500 but after he ruined the ring only gave me 400. Twisted my words and his also. Cheap skate and rip off plus lier
18. Big Woods Goods
Address: 350 Ronnell Rd, Holly Springs, GA 30115 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Great overall experience. Nice, friendly and knowledgable staff. The Afro Archer is great!
Really nice people and nice shooting range.
Great selection of firearms and a very nice, clean, well ventilated range! Other products such as bags, apparel, optics, archery, safes and more. Axe throwing looks like fun although I’ve never done it. Lots of parking!!
Had a great time at this range. There was a wait, but the store has comfortable seating and a very nice inventory. I would have given it 5 stars but you cannot shoot TUL, Wolf, or Russian surplus ammo :(….
Not Bad,Not Bad @ All!! Nice Ppl. Gr8 Facility, Lodes Of Ranges To Use,Even An Axe Trowing Place To Use Woww!! Never Seen Anything Like It!! Wonderful Experience!!
In the last month I’ve spent over $2500 in the store via multiple guns, accessories and ammunition. I tried to pop in to grab some ammo today. I was told they couldn’t sell it to me unless I was using the range. Too bad they missed out on that 15 whole dollars from me. That greedy little move just cost them thousands of dollars and all of my future business. I had just spend $150 in there yesterday alone. This business doesn’t appreciate returning customers. Avoid.
Higher prices than other close businesses. Their shooting range has way more rules than any shooting range I’ve been to. And they nickel and dime you wherever they can. I’d recommend their neighbor High Caliber.
My father purchased 2 colt 1911 there last year the Clark said for the sell to just bring the guns back and thay would polish the internal of the gun for the sell ?
( good service right) so I took to the 1911 up there and one of the clearks said no way we would do that your dad is a lier. Thay have always been good till now but i wouldn’t go in there to use the bathroom in there

Friendly place. Lots of guitars and they even have some bongos keyboards and a slew of other gear. Ukes and tambourines and a couple of accordions.
Great shop.
Good to purchase excelkent condition pre owned musical giggs
It is a good shop. Paul is a good guy. They’re are often hidden gems.
I was treated very rudely by the “manager”. I refuse to ever give this establishment my business ever again. I buy used musical equipment, and a lot of it, and I’ll never spend my cash here again, no matter how desirable the inventory is.
Prices to high for old equipment
I love music so why not got to the nearest music store around me! Well this my second time coming here only for a let down of course don’t try to sell to this guy just by coming in and him looking at it I received several smart comments from him. If u didn’t want it or it didn’t look like the best condition to you politely say SIR IM Sorry but I can not accept it but no he just played on the keyboard and said geez this is terrible condition told me the years like he was with me when I bought so with that being said I WILL NOT COME HERE ANYMORE! You have lost business from most of the Tucker area since middle to the high school music students and I understand why
20. GA Firing Line
Address: 2727 Canton Rd Suite #410, Marietta, GA 30066 , Firing Range , Georgia , United States
Picked two pistols that I wanted without issues. Even with the packed location they were there to help.
Great place to shoot. Great selection of pistols, rifles and ARs. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Staff is very helpful compared to governors gun range. I can never get help at governors and the guys at ga firing line went out of there way to assist me. Will be coming here from now on!
It was good visit for some quick range time.

Awesome staff, very knowledgeable and friendly!
Went here to sight in my red dot i recently bought for my Ruger 556 pistol. Started at a distance of 25 and next thing i know someone from the desk came in and said i can’t have the target that close has to be at least 65 ft back because it sounds like it’s hitting the wall. I asked what difference the distance of the target made because the bullet it gone travel the same distance and didn’t get an answer so i just decided to leave. unless i’m missing something, someone tell me what difference does it make if the target is 30 ft or 65 ft back? i typically went here because it was close to my place but i never liked the fact there the rifle range is separated off into a very tight corner where you can only sit down and there are only two rifle lanes.
They lie about their inventory. Much better prices at Adventure Outdoors a few miles away.
Elitist staff who would not give you the time of day if your not willing to pay a massive up charge for a firearm. Asked to see a particular fire arm and the dude behind the counter thought his Instagram feed was more important than customer service.
