2. Pete’s Music Center
Address: 425 Teegarden Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991 , Linda , California , United States
Repaired my bass electronics, same day, very reasonable. Nice people.
The people are so nice and knowledgeable.
Very nice guy Pete is. Took my fender deluxe amplifier in for repair and needed a set of guitar strings. He trusted me to pay for the strings when I picked up my amp. When I picked up my amp I reminded him that I owed for the strings along with the amp repair. Then thanked me for reminding him and charged me $2 dollars less than what he had quoted me for the strings. Very good business manors! Thanks Pete!
They do their best to have a little of everything so no matter what you play, they usually have something to help you get by in a jam.
Not bad
Great place to get musical equipment fixed highly recommend
Too pricy.
Better prices, better return policy, and better customer service from Amazon. Bought the floor model of a keyboard (with no discount) and they refused to issue a refund the next day even though our kids couldn’t play it because the keys are too heavy. They only offered a $100 discount because it was the used floor model after 15 minutes of “discussion”. All Sales Final. Period. So now our family stuck with a keyboard we can’t use. Very unhappy and unsatisfied customers!
The owner’s response speaks for itself. I’m not a disgruntled ex employee let go by the business owner. I am a proud ex manager who quit, even after being begged to stay, because I have standards and ethics. 41 years in business where I managed the shop and the owner was no where to be found for almost half the time he had been in business. Every response to every review listed here on google was done by me up until I left in March 2022. I cared. The owner lies, trash talks, chastised me for years for having children, put down my co-workers based off his interpretation of their intelligence, as well as put many customers in uncomfortable positions by bringing up their dating life or mentioning the size of overweight women. I witnessed this all first hand.
My response to the owner. Do not insinuate I am a disgruntled ex employee. Leaving Petes Music is the best thing I could have ever done for myself and my family. It’s not my fault you’re bitter.
Original review prior to owners response: Change in management due to the poor working conditions and the staff being placed in uncomfortable situations due to the owner’s (Pete’s) behavior. The place is no longer what it was and has been the past 18+ years and I doubt it will ever be. I will frequent only to support my cello instructor and maintain my educational efforts with her.
3. TeamSESH:G*59Records:Dynmk by Michael Joseph Gant
You are awesome! I came here many moons ago in search of some punk band vinyl and she had them. A lot of records here and it is my kind of place for shopping vinyl. As a matter of fact, I am way overdue for some more records.
Thank you for this kind of business. I wish we had some art galleries around here. That be cool!
Five stars great experience great prices and good deals
Best place to buy vinyl, hands down
Big selection, low prices
Did not visit

G a good time for you to come over and I will be there for you and your family
Good gut Eric
Eric always has what I’m looking for or can get it for me quick. New or used. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and the store has great prices. I love this place!
My son was in need of a flute for junior high band. They had a great price on a used one and were very knowledgeable. Thank you!
Zaful
Not much of a selection,,a lot of really low end pieced together mutt guitars and amps.
Tried very hard to engage counter man in conversation,,but he just preferred to sit quietly while I looked over tiny inventory…..guess I will keep looking for a music store.
7. E&J’s Music Lounge
Address: 659 Plumas St, Yuba City, CA 95991 , Linda , California , United States
I have only good things to say about E and Js.
I had a tube amp repaired and modified here which was very inexpensive and completed relatively quickly. I also had a Telecaster set up and modified. I could not be happier with the craftmanship. My Tele plays like butter now!
GREAT PEOPLE!! THE BEST!!
This place is great! Recommended for any one into guitars to check out!
Always have a great experience here. Owner is a cool guy.
Amazing place with great vibes. The owner remembers & listens to the wants and needs of his customers! He helped me find some John Denver records that I had been searching months for. Definitely recommend Sound Annex for those want to start or continue their vinyl record collection with quality vinyl.
Great vinal selection and great conversation
10. Sound Attitude
Address: 204 Bridge St, Yuba City, CA 95991 , Linda , California , United States
Cool place to get some good music…good variety… great prices… Old School record store
I love this store. Took my wife and kids in here to buy some 45rpm records, and found some great albums. I’m definitely going back on the regular
Awesome record store! Only one in the area, great customer service and very knowledgeable. They also have the hookup if you need your record player (any age) repaired…
Hey Bert!!!
A little crowded no room for a weel chair I don’t believe
Stopped in to look for some vinyl to add to my collection, it’s a nice little shop and the guy working there (owner?) was very nice and helped look for a few things for me. They don’t have a huge selection compared to some record shops, but they had a lot of good stuff and it was all pretty fairly priced. The records were all fairly well organized and alphabetized, but the shop itself was a bit disorganized and crowded feeling. The incense was very strong so if you’re sensitive to strong smells it might be bit much.
11. Mr. Kevin’s Guitar and Music Lessons
Address: 5548 Seedling Way, Marysville, CA 95901 , Linda , California , United States
Kevin Lopez is an amazing teacher! Always kind, always cool and easy to be comfortable around. Takes the time to get to know his students and go at the right pace. Infinite knowledge of music and never too busy to help. Really appreciate this man and everything he does for the world of music, especially the inspiration that comes with hearing his life story. Highly recommend Kevin Lopez! He will motivate you, and get you where you need to go.
Kevin is not just a great guitar teacher, but an excellent musician that has a firm understanding of music theory. He presents his teaching in an easy to understand way so you can build a foundation of both technique of playing the instrument, and the theory of how music flows together as a whole. You can’t find a better guitar instructor and musicians of any skill level can learn something from him!
My 7 year-old son loves his guitar lessons and looks forward to then all week. Mr. Kevin is amazing!
12. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 1131 N Beale Rd, Marysville, CA 95901 , Linda , California , United States
One of few words that still open 23/7! Yes! I often drove there from North Sac!
Its a Walmart
I live in Texas, and don’t think it’s any different than most Wal-Marts. I shop at Wal-Mart very often. Two or three times a week. Most do have homeless people hanging around them, but they seem to be harmless and have never bothered me. However, I’ve never been offered meth or any other drug for that matter.
Staff is friendly.
Walmart is our go to place for big or small purchases.
Has amazing lessons from really nice and good teachers. Also sells a variety of instruments
My kids took piano lessons for a few years here. On a whim I signed up for voice lessons. At age 48. No music experience since elementary school violin. No talent to speak of. IT HAS BEEN SO MUCH FUN! Patrick is such a kind and inspiring teacher. Each week brings a new discovery. I feel like a kid again. Take a chance and start a new adventure. I am excited to start my next lesson tomorrow.
solved all of my needs and problems at a very cheap price!
Friendly staff and very helpful.
I rented a used violin for my son from the shop. They said the price was $199. The rental was $35 per month. after two months if you want to own the violin then they said they would deduct the rental amount from the original price. But when we want to buy the used violin they said the price is $299 which is hell more than a new violin. So would recommend not to rent or buy anything from this store.
15. Marysville Music
Address: 331 D St, Marysville, CA 95901 , Linda , California , United States
Very awesome guy, very friendly and very knowledgeable!!!
This is obviously not a typical guitar store Caleb. This is a specialty situation you wouldn’t understand….. and I am a stranger, not affiliated at all.
