Chris was very helpful and the selection of microphone selection and the price was right.
Always pleasant and helpful experience
I love sam ash one of the better music stores around the atlanta metro area
Good for whatever musically your needing
Great place to buy any type of gear, very friendly sales team. WAY BETTER THAN GUITAR CENTER!! Be weary of the guitar tech named Wendell Walker though, I had him do some work on my guitar as a personal job outside of the store because he offered me a better price, weeks went by and I never saw my guitar again, and i could’nt even do anything about it. and it was a very rare guitar, an old Tokai. Please dont let him scam you the way he did me. hes a thief! Other than that its a great store! definitely my favorite place to buy a guitar!
I’ve shopped here for years literally since 07′ I’ve bought Fantom keyboards, sets of live PA sound equipment, DJ controllers, mixing boards, and various miscellaneous things. And all has been well. Unfortunately, I have an outstanding issues with a ac adapter for my Yamaha Mix8. I dealt with gentleman named Baron and he’s who took my order for 2 replacement adapters. However only one came. I called to inform him of this and he assured me he’d take care of it. However, its been months now and the second adapter that I paid for has never came. At this point I’m just leaving a review with hope that this won’t happen anymore from the management side as again I’ve not had bad customer service but an outstanding item that never came.
I ordered a new Roland keyboard, but received a used one with scratches and dust packed in a Yamaha box.
I went to the nearest store which is a 30-minute drive away from my house for a return and they said I ordered a used one according to an order number. They didn’t apologize nor try to understand the situation. They were very rude from the beginning to the end of the returning process. Finally they checked the website and realized they messed up (I clearly ordered a new one and they sent an used one with UR-Used Roland, order number.)
The service I experienced was horrible and the way they treated me was terrible.
Walked in today 08/22/2016 with $1000 ready to buy a drum kit and some cymbals and maybe find some of those L80 cymbals for practicing in the house. Told the guy Im here to buy a kit and he says great. Go back to the drums and nobody comes near me, everybody hides or walks away. Lesson learned Sam Ash. I wont be coming near there again unless to go the pet store down the street. Thanks for the help…Not.
Today I went to this location to search for some PA speakers for an event I am helping out with. After walking around in the live sound area for a while, I set my eyes on what I THOUGHT was going to be a perfect match for my needs and budget. It was a pair of USED Sound Tech dual 15 tops with horns. One was leaning precariously due to having two of the rubber feet missing, and both showed obvious signs of storage (spiderwebs, etc). I found someone to help me, a young lady who was really into the role of “salesperson”. I asked what the price on these were, and was told they were $100 each. I told her I’d like to hear them, and if the sound was righteous, they were sold. She spent several minutes playing with various cables trying to get signal to them before bringing another employee over to help. He got them up and jamming within a couple minutes. This is great, right? There was a dual 18″ sub that was with them when they purchased them, and I asked about pricing on it as well. After another several minutes of searching for a price, ANOTHER person, this time a manager, came over. The sub was $399, which was more than I was willing to throw down, but then it got worse – the $100 speakers I had already agreed to purchase were now $299 each. They ran me around in circles over the reasons they couldn’t honor the price THEIR EMPLOYEE quoted me, eventually working down to $249 each. Another manager played the “mistakes happen” card as well, leaving me with a seriously sour taste in my mouth, and no desire to EVER give them another penny. Buyer Beware – their staff apparently isn’t trained in properly looking up pricing, and their management will not honor prices quoted to customers BY THEIR OWN STAFF!
3. Vintage Musical Instruments
Address: 42 Public Square S, Dahlonega, GA 30533 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
I learned so much here than l ever learned from any piano lessons in the last year.
It’s the coolest shop on the square in Dahlonega GA.
An awesome spot! The dude that runs the place knows his stuff when it comes to acoustic instruments! A nice little selection in an upstairs nook make this a very unique place to go!
I was disappointed with the repair work done on my guitar. It wasn’t a horrible job but it wasn’t a good job either.
The luthier wasn’t able to polish the frets because they didn’t have any high grit sandpaper so, I had to “polish” the frets with my strings from play wear and now my frets are “polished” very unevenly.
He seemed to do an okay job with the fret leveling and crowning but there are still some noticeable corners on about half of the fret edges and especially on the higher frets where people usually don’t play. (You can tell how he had it laid on the table because one side is relatively smooth and the other looks like it barely got any attention along with the nut which is just as sharp as before)
He also got multiple dings and scratches on my guitar neck. Which I personally don’t mind on the specific guitar I sent in, but I would be quite irritated if it happened to a higher end guitar. (It’s named ‘Rawhide’ which explains the guitar well)
So, pretty much I paid for an incomplete job where if I had the proper tools I could have done it myself and probably much better.
I’m not trying to start anything and I don’t want to get the Luthier in trouble, I just want to see quality work from the Luthier so *if* I ever bring in a higher end guitar I won’t have to sleep in fear worrying about possible damage.
My recommendation for the Luthier is if someone pays you to level, crown and polish frets, make sure you have ALL of the necessary tools and really take the time to do a good job on ALL of the frets. Also make sure to keep the guitar safe in the process.
If I had known what to expect for what I paid for, I would have pressed the Luthier to finish the job, but at the time I didn’t know what high quality frets were like.
Lastly, on an unrelated topic that really goes to personal preference, they require masks to enter the store, no exceptions. I don’t support being muzzled for a virus with a 99%+ survival rate and even 95%+ if you’re over the age of 70, where it’s so “deadly” you require a medical test just to see if you have it, and asymptomatic spread has been proven to be extremely rare, if not just another myth to keep us living in fear.
But to each their own.
Went to store this morning at ten after 11 and no one was there.
I’m very disappointed in this “business” we had taken a family heirloom to him to be repaired, he said it would take two weeks. Hey, great you got a deal. Let’s go ahead and pay for it so you will have the money on hand to pay for the parts and your time. Three weeks later we have to call and the guitar still isn’t finished. Four weeks later we call once again it’s still not done. I go to the “business” to see if it’s even been touched, and low and behold it had not. He had already told us that sales from other people come first with it being around the holidays. Wait wait so a sale that was already made gets placed last?! That was my daughter’s Christmas present as well to hear the guitar play once again that her papa had gave to her 10 years ago, then he pasted away. I will never trust this place again repairs or to buy from!
4. Earthshaking Music
Address: 648 McDonough Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great instrument options for guitars and percussion. The location is not the best part of town; otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.
Solid.
Overpaid for a guitar setup only to receive my guitar back without cleaning, sounding horrible and the cheapest strings on the market…as has just been verified by a Guitar Center tech…
We were looking for a pre-owned Taylor or Martin acoustic guitar. We’re from out of town and had somewhere to be so we only had about 25 minutes to look around. At first everyone was nice while we looked around, both of our kids are involved heavily in music so they spent their time there trying out instruments to which the gentleman attending (I could assume owner) was kind and attentive. Until we turned down sale of a keyboard, at which point he decided to approach my autistic son while on a small drum kit and scream at him for being too big for it. I’m no fan of leaving places in handcuffs, so I didn’t cave in his face, I decided a well deserved poor review and exposure to the public what a peice of trash he is would suffice. Trying Dirt Cheap Music nearby instead.
*update following response from the owner
It is fair to say that your employee had a right to address the issue, but screaming and belittling an autistic child isn’t the way to go about it. Furthermore, my initial feelings of rage as a protective father are quite normal and my decision to take a more appropriate route is not something I am ashamed of in the slightest. Neither of them damaged anything and nothing was kicked or struck with any kind of force by either child. You responded defensively and completely missed the point. To scream at the child in an aggressive manner, autistic or not is unacceptable and the employee could have delivered the exact same message in a better tone and achieved far better results. I honestly can’t imagine any scenario that aggressively yelling at a person in your store achieves any positive results.
There is a lot I like about this place, but there is definitely a problem with sexism here. The staff seems to be entirely white and male, and one staff member in particular has consistently been very patronizing to me. Without any prior familiarity with me, he consistently assumed I lack any knowledge or expertise. He told me things about my own gear as if I couldn’t possibly understand it on my own. He told me that I would be able to settle on one type of guitar I liked once I had “some experience.” At one point, while trying out a guitar, I noted it was out of tune. I was about to tune it when he quickly took it from me, saying he would be able to tune it faster than I could. (This did not turn out to be true. He actually seemed to have some trouble with the amp’s tuner.) This particular employee has been there the last few times I’ve been in, and from other employees I’ve experienced a remote surliness. I understand this is the traditional culture of music stores, but I personally am not interested in participating anymore. It’s a shame, because I think the store has a good selection and good prices, and it’s in my neighborhood. But until the culture at the store changes, I’ll unfortunately be using ebay.
5. Music Go Round – Atlanta/Duluth, GA
Address: 3675 Satellite Blvd # 100, Duluth, GA 30096 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
The staff are always very friendly, and provide a great experience to anybody who comes in, no matter their skill level. As someone who has sold multiple instruments here and purchased even more, I’ve had a great experience and would recommend it for any musician.
Super cool store, lots of used gear to choose from, great sales staff
They have a lot of great deals on used equipment and guitars
It’s wall to wall musical instruments. Some of the cymbals are of an era when I had my paper route and I was just beginning. Other than that…go to town for your heart’s desire.
Disculpe tienen acordeones en venta??
They had exactly what I was looking for in store. The staff was nice and took care of the necessary covid19 precautions by ensuring I used hand sanitizer and masked up before entering. The employee I spoke with told me exactly where to look to get what I needed. My only reason for giving it 4/5 stars is because I felt it was overpriced. Nice store though and very well organized.
Stay away and do not support this joke of a music store…Look at anything advertised on their site. Then look at the shipping cost! For example, they charge $96 to ship a 3 pound cymbal! What tops the cake is the worst customer service you receive via phone or direct email. “We rather sell it in the store that’s why we charge so much for shipping.” Yeah, you read right: I actually was verbally told this via phone…and to back this up, they refuse to give the business owners name and claim the “Floor Manager Naeem” is the store owner and shot caller…who is the reason behind this disgusting practice. Ann Wood is the owner. Be sure to call and ask for her if you have the same issues and she’s the real problem. This review was posted after experiencing the same situation twice here, and four other times nationwide. Do not buy anything here, shop where service and fair market value is the standard.
The selection of instruments was fantastic and the employees were very friendly and helpful. We picked up a nice Jackson “Shattered Mirror”. The reason for 2 stars is that they changed the price tag on it. Not the price, just the tag. The original tag was thick with price sticker over price sticker. This made it obvious that the guitar had been in the store a while. We left to get the money for it and when we got back it had a single sticker.
The problem is there is usually a little room to play on price. But I was.told that there was nothing they could do because they only had it for three days.
Why argue – it’s their house? We just wont visit again.
No encontre lo que necesitaba
6. Musician’s Warehouse
Address: 245 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
The people at Musician’s Warehouse are great and easy to work with. They are always willing to help you out, no matter what your skill level is. Ed just taught me how to restring my guitar and he even stayed an hour past closing to make sure my guitar was perfect. Brian also helped me out a ton, but its important to mention that the entire staff here is full of great people. This is a great business that puts people first, and I always look forward to going back to this store. Thanks Ed!!
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. You can actually plug into effect pedals and try before you buy. Great prices on gear.
Hands down one of the best music stores around. The owner, Ed, really cares about the local music scene and treating everyone honestly and fairly. Wonderful selection, great prices and truly an amazing business.
Could be a little more organized. Drum area needs more open space. And more displayed of items. Seems pretty congested.
Pretty good shop if you are in Athens. Much better selection of gear than their competitors in the area.
Very nice store but not a great variety of guitars
Poor selection. If you like grandpa guitars this is the place. Wouldnt recomend to any modern guitar players.
Dude I’m not sure what happened. The first floor is desolate (empty for everybody that’s currently reading this while dunk). I understand social distancing, but I’m I am attending Warehouse, I do not care about the current situation, I’m here to rave. Open the first floor for a mosh pit.
Really wanted to like this company. I was cheated and conned, and after a week with zero communication I contacted them. They fumbled around for another day or two then stated they couldn’t find the item. I was left empty handed and confused. No attempt at finding the item or ordering another. Nothing. Zip. C’mon guys!
7. Jackson’s Music Store Inc
Address: 1651 Horizon Pkwy #500, Buford, GA 30518 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Very knowledgeable help, attentive, well staffed & did an excellent job with my Ovation! Thank you!
The 2 gentlemen were really polite and informative!!!!
Love Jackson’s Music! Have been our go-to music store for my mom’s guitar needs, and my kids violin needs. Always very helpful! Went in yesterday to have my daughter’s violin repaired and they fixed it immediately!! Have gone above and beyond to help us with fixing every problem, ordering things we need, and finding everything we have needed for a while now. Check them out
I like buying local. I got good service on a brass instrument repair. ( I didn’t try to use a pick )
Great shop for band instruments as well as player instruments.
Good selection of accessories
Employees know there job but convenience is a -1
I called to see if they could do a repair on my son’s flute. They said to bring it in, they could do it but would charge an extra
20% for a rush job. I dropped it off and called in the next day to see if the repairs had been done, as my son had a Christmas concert he needed it for. I got Doug the repair man on the phone. He said he doesn’t do rush jobs and he was way to busy to deal with it. He treated me very unprofessional and they honestly don’t care about keeping anyone’s business. Please don’t waste your time here as I did.
this store is downright awful. the service is terrible and they try to pull every penny out of your pockets. small fixes can be charge to up to $200 and is downright despicable.
No inventory.
8. Atlanta Discount Music
Address: 3514 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
This is the place to go for your guitar and bass needs. So much more there than shows on the website. The guys there are very personable and knowledgeable.
Awesome folks. I miss these guys, since I left town.
This is THE place for electric guitars and amps. Thank you George Coats and Atlanta Discount!
A true hometown music store. Great place for new or used guitars plus repairs
Great selection of guitars and amps, great staff
Nice family owned business in chamblee. Came here to have my guitar strung and purchase a tuner. All together everything was about $38. They have a family dog that greets you at the door (which made my day because I love animals). Everyone there was very friendly and they even offer guitar lessons.
They have their own parking lot which doesn’t seem to ever be full. Its very easy to get in and out of.
They weren’t very friendly or helpful with what I was looking for. Their prices are actually higher than most other places I’ve been in. My advice would be to shop for your musical items somewhere else.
Don’t drop your amp here for repair. Paid close to $200 and when I got home, the amp still didn’t work. Total rip-off
Bought a mic cord there a few months back , tried to return it but they said it wasn’t theirs, no receipt,
I know it came from Atlanta Discount, the guy acted like I was some kind of criminal,
I’m 59 years old, been playing for 50 years, don’t need the disrespect man, no wonder Guitar Center is kicking their ass
9. Guitar Center
Address: 1455 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30044 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Un equipo fuera de serie, y muy buena calidad de equipos de musica
Friendly and helpful staff
Friendly staff members. Website says products and services carried but when.you get there not available
Nice staff and clean store
I’m building a studio and this place has everything I need. Sweetwater has a better online selection in my opinion, but you can’t go wrong with the physical atmosphere GC provides. Personal help is nice and most employees love what they do. I’ll take pics next time I go
So sad that I have to leave a bad review because there were honest people doing an amazing job; but unfortunately the lack of professionalism from the manager led me to the decision of canceling my son’s membership.
As I mentioned *manager*; I’d like to clarify this is the only person at this guitar center location “acting” like if she is very “busy”, ignoring 100% customers’ greetings. (Managers are expected to set a good example for their subordinates to follow. So, imagine?)
The lack of professionalism for class management: How is it possible that Only ONE person knows the schedule system for lessons, and no one else is able to solve the issue? There were situations in which I had to wait for a week until this particular knowledgeable person comes back from vacation, days off, lunch, “maternity leave because her dog was having babies”, & 100 Excuses!
(Ok the last one was a hyperbole).
Not the best customer service
I’ve never been to a retail store that didn’t care about making money as much as this location of guitar center. I’ve spent a lot of money here in the past and I will no longer ever spend another Penny here lack of customer service and straight rude employees. what’s the point of having all the stuff on the shelf if you got nobody there to sell it?
10. Guitar Center
Address: 4551 Billy Williamson Dr Suite 160, Macon, GA 31206 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
I really enjoy going to Guitar Center….they have alot of stuff in there and I just want to buy everything. They have what you need to hook up musical equipment and if they don’t they will get it.
Service was great
What’s not to love about this place!
They were taking very good social distancing precautions considering it’s a smaller store. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice selection of guitars and amps.
The people are friendly they had what I wanted.
Good
Best place to buy a guitar from and staff are very friendly!
Edit. Staff seem to be very unfriendly now unless you spending big bucks in there! Even the manager has no public relations with no one who comes thru the doors unless you from a local band and than he’s acting his position.
Rest well you can’t tell if they work there cause they play the guitars in there or walking out for food. Becoming a joke now. Will look elsewhere for my instruments.
I can’t relate to this
Macon store….. nothing good to say about them.
11. Atlanta Musicians Exchange
Address: 2619 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur, GA 30033 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Very helpful and knowledgeable. Had my guitar repaired at literally half the price that the “centers” quoted for my repair.
Great no-nonsense music shop. Nice folks who tell it like it is and don’t try to “sell at you.” For those of us on a budget, they give great prices, honest opinions, and genuine smiles!
Having spent hours and hours at three Guitar Centers in the Atlanta area, plus hours more on various websites looking for an acoustic drum set, I accidentally came across AME on google, and called them to see what used sets they had in stock. Mike, the very polite, humorous and knowledgable owner, informed me of his current stock. So I headed over to the store and was delighted to see 5-6 different sets in my price range (including Gretsch, PDP, Slingerland and Mapex). After asking Mike way too many questions, and borrowing a pair of sticks to test the sound, I ended up choosing a beautiful, metallic silver, 5 piece PDP set. He’d installed new skins so basically I got these for 50% off the price of new. He helped load the set into my SUV and off I went. I couldn’t be happier with the whole process, and strongly encourage anyone looking for used musical equipment to support this great local business – I bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised as I was!
The repair shop sucks
The photo of the wall of guitars is pretty much their entire stock. I’ve seen low-end pawn shops that are less cluttered.
I found the owner to be very unfriendly. I will shop elsewhere. I don’t like to feel like I am bothering someone when I’m spending my money.
12. McDonough Music
Address: 184 John Frank Ward Blvd, McDonough, GA 30253 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Always a pleasure to speak to someone with a deep musical knowledge. I came in looking for a threaded ferrule for my locking tuners. The owner got me situated with a quickness. Much appreciated!
Check them out, very personal and very unique, very professional.
They were amazing!! We will be back!!
Cool place..
Our son takes classes with Karen and he just started last week but he seems to really like her ! Will continue a few more classes with her. Thanks McDonough music
Love the store & the people. Hate the location and really wish you’d post your hours on google. I know you’re tired of me calling to see when you’re open! lol
Closed down? No response
13. Big House Guitars
Address: 2323 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30324 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Big House Guitars lives up to the name. You won’t find an ounce wrong with this joint – from the fair prices to the gorgeous selection of guitars and wax, you’re bound to head home with loot. Hayden introduced himself and chatted with us, and really made us feel welcome. BHG – the highest quality local music store I’ve ever stepped foot in.
As a musician – you get what you wanna play, and get a cable, then the amp is already hooked up. Everything is in great condition. Help is only an ask away – and you won’t feel bad about it. BHG, thank you for making us feel welcome and for having the best variety of products.
I sold Russ a 1976 Gibson Marauder. He was super easy to work with and would definitely recommend him to anybody
All around great shop. 10 out of 10
Friendly and professional. Offer a fair price and paid promptly
Beautiful collection of guitars on sale and consignment, plus a pretty decent record shop!
Had a lot of records that haven’t been put out or put in sections.
The owner of this business scams customers online making false claims regarding the authenticity and value of his Guitars. Have a luthier you trust look over your next axe from this con-artist.
I can’t say that I have been in this place, and most likely will not ever visit, since the owners think it’s appropriate to use FOUL LANGUAGE in their Craigslist postings. My kids like to peruse the musical instruments ads on Craigslist, and I for one do not appreciate them being exposed to that kind of language on a public and FREE classifieds board. I am currently pursuing the matter with CL.
Disregard, disrespect and unprofessional…
I had a horrible experience at this store. They told me it would take 7 days to change the strings and when I went to get the guitar it was just as I left it. They didn’t even touch the guitar.
I wanted to buy a Gibson and didn’t buy it because of my bad experience. They missed an opportunity for additional business, and I will never visit this store again.
I do, however, recommend Maple Street Guitars which in my opinion is the best guitar shop in GA. I was very happy with my experience there! They`re professionals.
14. String Theory Music
Address: 204 W 4th St, Adel, GA 31620 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Conner was an amazing salesperson! He and the owner John made it to where my husband and I were able to straight trade one guitar for another, and now I have my first ever guitar! Conner suggested different picks for me to try out, as well!
Great place to do business and John and his staff are top notch and the nicest people and are alway willing to help you with any questions or problems great business
We always are greeted with helpful smiles and can find anything you need. For us, it is the flute but we waited while they worked on a guitar and I was tempted by a trumped sitting in the front glass case.
Make this your one stop music shop.
Very helpful and good prices
Great owner named John Walsh. Very helpful and music instructors are the best
Great place to get anything musical. They have a good selection of band instruments and guitars. The people here are super nice and ready to help you with anything you need.
I’ve been shopping here for over a decade. This is the first time I have EVER had to make a return was today. I was told there was a 7 day return policy. NO WHERE on the receipt does it indicate a 7 day policy. Very disappointed that the owner John (after all these years being of being a loyal customer) argue with me over this return.
I hate that I had to give at least one star, there should be a no star button. I had mostly positive experiences here until this point. I bought a Planet Waves instrument cable from this establishment and it was defective. Granted it has been about 4 months, I asked to make an even exchange and they said, “No. You have to get with Planet Waves.” In order to get any help from Planet Waves I have a receipt. They have a record that I bought it, but won’t give me one. I can’t do business with a company that doesn’t back up its inventory.
Poor teaching, and don’t miss a lesson without notice, they will not understand and will continue to take your money.
16. Attina’s Music Store Inc
Address: 155 Jonesboro Rd, McDonough, GA 30253 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
They were friendly, but we kinda felt they were stand offish because my husband was asking all kinds of questions and we kinda felt that they was tired of being asked the many questions that my husband asked. They had a low selection of items and we felt that we was being pushed out of the store because he asked us a few times if we was ready to check out. So after a few times of being asked we checked out and left. Not sure if we will be going back or if we will make the hour trip to Fayetteville for all of our needs.
17. Attina’s Music Store Inc.
Address: 378 Glynn St N, Fayetteville, GA 30214 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Very willing to help find items and accessories. Private instructors are very good.
In and out. Know what I needed. Unless otherwise they don’t try to sell u unless u buy on plan
Good selection
Not enough room to display musical instruments. Cold hearted atmosphere
Good customer service. Not a lot of music choices, but I was able to find a Rubank methods book.
It was obvious that my presence was causing discomfort to the manager/cashier/whatever. I was not allowed to play a certain Epiphone Les Paul (not even a Gibson) because ‘they wanted to keep it clean’. I am a frikin professional guitarist with 11 years of experience and no music stores have ever denied me of handling an instrument. Highly offending for a first time visitor’s impression.
Go to Guitar Center and avoid this place, you’ll be glad you did.
Expensive, great variety
Guy was on phone the whole time…and we waited. Not sure this is the norm but it was my one and only visit
18. Jennings Music & Education Center
Address: 3595 Canton Rd Suite 308, Marietta, GA 30066 , Gasa , Georgia , United States
Thank you JP for all your help with my daughter’s viola!
Everyone at Jennings Music couldn’t be nicer! Very professional and knowledgeable. Ms. Katherine is a wonderful music teacher, she is very patient and understanding with her students.
I would recommend Jennings Music to anyone needing instruments, supplies, books and lessons.
Just bought a guitar for my daughter.
Lady at the desk was very helpful and kind. Even took her time to tune the guitar .
Thank you
The people there are very friendly, courteous
Nice store. Very friendly and helpful. If I ever consider leasons for anything, I’d definitely consider them.
Edit: I was called the day of this review and my issues resolved within the week. I have never received such a quick response to a complaint and it counts for a lot in my mind. I can tell that their reputation and customer satisfaction is important. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding my previous experiences and change my review. I’m not sure why the ball was dropped previously but they made sure to fix the problem and apologize. Everyone makes mistakes but their willingness to take responsibility and handle the situation was refreshing.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! I signed up for a lease to own plan for a bass at this store. The plan is supposed to include repairs and a size upgrade because my son is 13 and still growing. About 8 months into the plan the bridge was broken on the bass (a simple fix) and I was told to expect 3 weeks for repairs. 3 weeks turned into several months. I had to start going in person everyday and basically harassing the staff to give him his bass. They never gave him his bass back. They gave him a very beat up bass and told me not to worry about the appearance as he would not keep this bass and would have one in better condition once the contract was up as the size would be upgraded. However, once I took the bass home to my son he informed me that this bass was smaller than the original one he was given and so he couldn’t practice at all. I informed the store of this in August, it is now January. The store is completely unresponsive and unless I start harassing them again, they’ll leave me with a product I can’t use but still charge me monthly for it.
These people were extremely rude and impatient this evening. I was trying to reach a salesman that left another store. I need a cello but I will not buy from these people. Instead of trying to sell me something they simply hung up in my face. I called right back thinking it was a mistake and they were not kind. They lack good communication skills and have no customer service skills at all. I was expecting them to say, “… the person you are looking for does not work here but we would love to assist you with a purchase”.
Way over priced !!!!! My son in high school needed a mouth piece for his instrument. Jennings wanted to charge almost $70. You can get them for $20 in Kennesaw and YES they are acceptable and standard in the class room. Wow! I am so tired of this area trying to over charge.
