So, I brought my project guitar to Ruth Guitars that I’ve been holding onto for years. I asked him to build it how he would like it. Oops! Turned out way better than I had ever thought! He was able to install the neck, wire in a crazy cool pick up, added strings and locking bar for the tuners. Superb work! I’ve played several of his guitars and they all have great action and are super comfortable! Highly recommended!
Chris at Ruth Guitars is pretty much the only person I trust w my gtrs. I play over 200 shows a year, and trust Chris w all my electronic work, set ups, he’s even lent me a couple custom made LG Series guitars for high profile gigs. His custom builds come standard w superior hardware including premium handwired pickups. From repairs to tone-shaping and beyond, Chris at Ruth Guitars always goes above expectations and over-delivers a product that is eye-catching, fun to play, sounds impossibly good, custom made to your specs, and affordable. Call him TODAY for any repair or maintenance, its getting cold out! You’ll want to get your hands on one of his numerous custom builds (If you can get it off his wall long enough I recommend the black LG model) and start spec’ing YOUR handmade custom model. Pictured below is the TC model w literally too many tonal options to list here. Your tonal palette is only limited by your own imagination. Chris can bring your dream sound to your hands! I wish I could give more than 5-stars!
Love this store! Since moving to the area I have frequented Elizabeth & Company often. I have found many sweet items at reasonable prices that I was thrilled to bring into my new home. Liz also painted my dining set that I could not bear to part with. She suggested using paint to update it and I absolutely love it!! New memories are still being made around the table. My husband even loves it. Can I say, he NEVER says that! Wish I could score Liz, her sweet mom and this great little store higher than a 5! Always worth a peek if you have time!
Really a great place to shop !! Lots of old and patina stuff at great prices !! And the store keeper is very helpful and friendly !!!
Great place for antiques and more.
Found nothing today. Usually can find several things I want. Maybe next time.
This is and ever changing place to shop some of the best antiques, collectables and unusual home decor item in the area. The store is very large with many booths, you can easily spend hours in here trying to find your latest treasure. The lady who owns it is very nice and her mom,who also works there is knowledgeable and fun to talk to. She can often give you background info on a item..as well as find you something you have been looking for. Stop by when you have a few hours to look at this great shop in downtown Clarkesville.
Nice place. A little upscale for my taste. My wife liked it though.
$1 worth of 50 modern, machine made marbles in a jar for $10. Collectables that aren’t. Clothing that really belongs in a Goodwill. A “WWII” satchel that wasn’t produced until, at best, the 60’s. I get that it’s a consignment situation, but such blatant gouging will get you a one star review any day.
If you just slapped me in the face when I walked in and took $20 out of my pocket, I’d have given you two stars for being unique and interesting.
7. Old Clarkesville Mill Antique Mall
Address: 583 Grant St, Clarkesville, GA 30523 , Habersham County , Georgia , United States
Nice variety of antiques, consignment, new, and handmade items.
Multiple businesses are here.
Upon entering the store a male employee behind the counter made eye contact with my wife and eye twice but did not greet or even speak to us..at checkout another male cashier also did not speak to us except to state purchase total..also never even said thank you…he did not offer to wrap the fragile glass item we purchased..terrible customer service
I recently attended a children’s party here. Since it had rained the night before the ceiling was leaking. There were buckets tied to the rafters and trash cans placed everywhere to catch the water. We constantly had to watch for puddles so that the children, or anyone, did not slip. At one point we had to clear a table because in the middle of eating we were suddenly rained on from a bigger leak. When the staff was questioned they simply said “we are sorry, but the owner does not want to fix the ceiling, it will cost to much” it seems a lawsuit if someone is critically or fatally injured would be much more costly. It would be a great venue with just a little TLC. I would not waste the money, or at least make sure there is no rain in the forecast.
The lady who claimed to be the manager at his location today, 9/08/2021 is the rudest person I have ever encountered in an antique mall. I will never return to this establishment nor recommend that any one else visits this establishment. I feel sorry for any vendors who have booths here. I have been shopping antiques for over 40 years and I never had such a bad experience before. A lady came up to me accusing me of breaking a sugar dish and said she heard it hit the floor. 1. I didn’t break anything and 2. if it had hit the floor it would be in pieces. 3. It was $5.95. I had well over $100 worth of stuff at the counter that I was going to buy when this lady verbally assaulted me and then told me to hush when I tried to talk to her. So needless to say I did not purchase anything and feel sorry for those vendors who could have made some money today before this lady decided to verbally assault me. We drove over 2 hours to get there and shop there a few times a year and have spent hundreds of dollars here in the past but will take my business elsewhere. Scott’s antique mall is much closer anyway.
Excellent place to enjoy a good cigar. Great atmosphere and very welcoming. Visit once and you will visit frequently.
Relatively small but perfect for what they are trying to accomplish. I had a great experience for my first time. I was greeted as soon as we walked in and was giving time to browse the selection before deciding on the cigar and bourbon of my choice. There was no pressure for me to buy the most expensive items, they have good starter cigars for a low price as well as some of my favorite cigars for a mid tier price range. It was very relaxing and overall a very good and well rounded experience. I plan on returning very soon. Richard was open to hearing some of the ideas I had about making the place more comfortable. Shout out to Richard and the other staff that made this experience one that will keep me coming back for more.
Awesome atmosphere, great cigars, great drinks and a wonderful staff. I’ll definitely be back.

Mike put together the perfect sound system for a large outdoor wedding for us – for the officiant, for MP3 music, and for live string music. He even met me at the venue to set it all up and walk me through operating steps. The cost was very reasonable as well. MIke was extremely competent, friendly, and flexible, and I would heartily recommend North Georgia Sound to anyone.

A true gem for this area! He’s really friendly and helpful. Love the cat too!
Great store! So many rare albums you will not find elsewhere pricing is spot on and grading !
Been shopping here for my albums now for the last year! Never dissatisfied with there broad selection! Helpfully pleasant staff!
Small shope, interesting selection. Friendly gentleman works there.
Small shop with an eclectic mix of old and new vinyl.
Tried to visit this past Thursday. We were in the book store next door from 10 to 11 am, and this store was still closed when we left.
Very cool selection and had some rare stuff I’ve not seen in a physical store before. Prices are insane. I’m sure they will come back and say they did their research, but some examples are a $600 Animal Crossing Switch (Retailed at $300 I believe and still plentiful on aftermarket), $150 for a Kid Rock Record, some stuff rated as VG that I would not call VG by any stretch and a $400 Pikachu N64 without the box ($250-300 typically with box)
I had a feeling the vinyl prices were high so I compared on Discogs, even used the runout numbers to be sure I was checking the right versions and some of these records were $100 over the highest price ever sold on Discogs.
Very shiny and attractive Tourist bait, I’m afraid
Great selection of records however they are extremely overpriced. As someone who actively buys and sells records the prices were astronomical. Even records that are still in print are being sold for about $20 above retail value. The used records are sold way above the secondary market value as well.
Edit: I’m not a flipper by any stretch of the imagination. Just a person who loves collecting records. Also, the store does not stick to their own hours. I arrived at 11:30am and I saw a sign on the door saying they changed the store hours to 2pm-7pm for the day. Not a big deal so I came back at 3pm and it was still closed. Did some more walking around town and came back after 4pm to which the store was finally open. Was not worth the wait all day for the prices they charge. Even saw a bootleg Smashing Pumpkins album being sold for $250 that they were claiming it was legit.

Great shop, enjoyed sitting around and picking with the staff.
Hope to join them for a jam session one day soon. 1st and 3rd Saturday each month noon to 4.
Very knowledgeable!
Beautiful guitars. I could have stayed all day. Loved all the Martins – super well set up and great feeling. Atmosphere was warm and workers were welcoming; this guitar store is a gem!
CLOSED – OUT OF BUSINESS. Soon to be the location of a piano bar or something.
This place is on a side street in the square. They’ve got great instruments at great prices. Also come check out the vintage acoustics and dobro. I picked up some Martin strings for my strat and dean acoustic. Good ol guys that run the place as well. Don’t go far, they’re right here in town.
A nice place but really pricey.
