We love the piano teachers who have been very dedicated in educating music my kids. And a big thank you to Kari, the school manager who has been managing our schedules and always making us feel so welcome!
Elevated Music Center !
Best experience! From talking to the Owner Joe Office manager and getting a first time virtual lesson from Lauren Teacher. Everyone went above and beyond to getting me set up for Ukulele Lessons. I strongly suggest you check out Elevated Music Center Centennial CO 80122 for your music supplies, books, lessons. Located in a very cute and relaxed location on Commons, Southglenn mall. ❤️
Great music store and school. My daughter is going there and loves her teacher David. She’s learning guitar and she’s getting better at it. Joe and rest of the team is extremely friendly and helpful as well. I have already recommended it to multiple people and would definitely recommend in the future as well.
9. Highlands Ranch Guitar Repair
Address: 2298 Gold Dust Ln, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 , Highlands Ranch , Colorado , United States
My wife had a guitar she purchased in Spain over 40 years ago. Over time, it hadn’t aged well and she was going to simply throw it away. I found Jay online, and in no time, he had it repaired, restrung, tuned and ready to roll. Looks and plays like brand new. My wife LOVES it! Would highly recommend Jay and his services.
Good service and work. Fast turnaround. Will be using in the future and highly recommend.
Jay did a set up on a guitar I had. Now it plays real smooth and clean. He has a way with guitars. Thanks Jay.
Used Jay only a few times and was disappointed in the work. And had to give him back instrument to try to correct problem which he was unable to do and overcharged me. very unprofessional. do not take your guitar to this guy
If you value your instruments, do not bring them here! After reading the positive reviews for this business I decided to bring my Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 for a pickup swap, nut replacement, setup, and tuning machine replacement. Jay seemed like a nice guy, competent in his craft when I first met him. Upon pickup of the guitar I learned I was wrong. Upon pickup I didn’t notice much wrong, the tuning machines looked a bit odd but the other work seemed to be performed well. Jay did tell me he had replaced both my volume and tone pot, which I did not ask him to do and was not too happy with but thought I would give it a shot. Left being just “OK” with the work that was done. Upon closer inspection after getting the guitar home I noticed everything he touched was done poorly. Excess glue all around the new nut, under the truss rod cover and on the fingerboard. When I took the strings off to remove the residue the brand new OEM replacement nut he “installed” fell off. Upon closer inspection of the tuning machine replacement I realized not a single one was parallel with the opposite side tuner, installed with no regard for having them on straight. Removed the back plate to inspect the soldering work and once again, just sloppy. After Jay removed the electronics I had not asked him to touch, he replaced them all with cheap aftermarket parts without my consent to do so. All around sloppy work. Jay did immediately give me a refund when I expressed how angry and frustrated I was. Yet, he still failed to take full accountability for his poor craftsmanship. I can also post a screenshot of a text, where after I told him I will be leaving him an honest review, he responded saying that I “left happy”. Hard to leave mad, when the lighting in his basement shop does not let you see the full scope of his “craftsmanship”. Again, If you value your instruments, do not bring them here.
10. Music & Arts
Address: 8475 S Yosemite St Suite B, Lone Tree, CO 80124 , Highlands Ranch , Colorado , United States
I bought a used violin from their sister store after deciding I wanted to try to pick it up again after almost 20 years of not playing. The violin I received needed the bridge installed and needed tuning, so the sister store sent me to Music and Arts for help. Christopher helped me get the violin set up and ready to play. I told him my situation and he helped me pick out a music book to learn from and some accessories. What I appreciated most was that he was genuinely excited to share a love of music with someone looking to get back into it. Thank you for your help!
I Love this store. Thank you Jamie for the awesome attitude to customers and music!
Very friendly and helpful
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!
I rented a trumpet for my daughter and as I was returning it, one of the workers said that I could get a hundred dollars credit for a different instrument. I told her that I would wait until my kids were out of school so they could pick which instrument they wanted. Last Thursday, I went in with my kids to return the trumpet and find a new instrument. I gave the trumpet to the man at the cashier, expecting him to complete the process with the credit opportunity. Without a word, he returned the trumpet without mentioning the credit opportunity. When I asked about it, he said “Sorry I already returned it. I can’t do anything about it.” This employee scammed me, and his response was a pathetic excuse of an apology. I am incredibly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Very poor experience with lessons. Tried to cancel lessons because we were traveling for the holidays. We missed 3 of 4 lessons before they called and asked why we weren’t coming. We had originally planned on continuing our lessons, but after multiple refusals to work with us (saying “you signed the contract and there’s nothing we can do”) by staff and manager, that’s not going to happen. I wasn’t expecting much as they are technically correct – we did sign, but didn’t understand the auto renewal policy. They can do better, and should.

We are so thrilled with School of Rock in Highlands Ranch. My 7 year old son has been going here for just over 2 months now, learning drums. He’s learned so so so much in the short time he’s been there, and he’s loved every minute of it. The owners are so supportive of all the kids, and his personal instructor Christian is absolutely amazing with him.
TLDR: The Store Manager and Sales Manager both exude politeness and Integrity, and that kind of leadership is bound to trickle down to the employees! Props for leading from the top and doing the right thing in a crappy situation.
The situation:
Two weeks ago I had an upper strap button put on my acoustic at this store. It was placed left of center on the heel and I couldn’t figure out why. I saw what appeared to be some flash or something under the edge of the felt washer and I asked what it was. The repair guy told me it was flash from the drill, and that he tried to get it off with his fingernail, but couldn’t. At that point, it sounded odd but I left, as the store was about to close.
Two weeks later:
Playing the guitar in a sunny room and I can see silver by the “Flashing”. I grabbed a screwdriver and removed the strap button to find that it wasn’t in fact flash, but the guitar repair guy (don’t remember his name) had apparently either broken off a screw or a drill bit in the neck of my guitar and then covered it up with a re-drill and lied to me.
Needless to say, I was pretty pissed. Mistakes happen, but lying to my face? I immediately put the guitar in the car and drove back to the shop.
At the store:
Waited a moment for the store manager to be free and asked to speak to him off to the side. Pulled the button off again and he was as shocked as I was. He asked how he could make it right. I asked that they either buy a new neck and have it replaced at a third party, or buy back the guitar and replace it. He took some pictures of it, bought it back as a used guitar, and gave me a new one on the spot.
I didn’t expect that level of service. I didn’t expect that level of calm and empathy out of both the Store Manager and the Sales Manager. I was in and out in 45 minutes and couldn’t be more pleased with the integrity and prompt correction of a mistake.
As we all know, bad employees sometimes exist, and sometimes people lie out of fear of reprisal when mistakes are made. However stellar customer service and integrity in a retail setting is rare, and incredibly appreciated.
We can’t always prevent mistakes, and neither can they, but you can confidently buy here, because the management knows the meaning of customer service and integrity. I’ll definitely be back in the future!
Great service
Good place I started playing guitar during quarantine and here is where I got replacement strings and picks I love the calm vibe in there.
Better than the 1 on Colo Blvd
In my opinion, this is the best Guitar Center in the Denver area.
I am came into the store to have an item shipped from their store in Georgia to my home in Englewood on Nov.6. It was supposed to be shipped to my house by Nov. 10 to use on a gig on Nov.11. It turns out that the clerk/manager, Memphis, typed in the wrong address, even though I gave him my driver’s license to copy and to prevent mistakes. When the item did not arrive (and still hasn’t) I called and he took responsibility for the mistake. I asked how he could make it “right” with me and he would not even offer a pack of guitar strings (or something!!!) as an apology. He said all he could do was have the item re-shipped. It’s now Nov. 19 and tracking says it will be at my house Nov. 23. I am very displeased with this situation.
Update 12/14: The manager sent pack of guitar strings to make up inconvenience and item was eventually delivered.
I have had a lot of problems with this store. Today was the 3rd strike though. I selected a guitar that I was interested in. It was on sale. They told me I could trade my old guitar in. I drive home to get it, I bring it back, they won’t buy it, but said they will honor the 10% I was a little unhappy that I wasted my time to go and get the guitar, but I knew it wasn’t worth much. The 10% was ok.
The manager gets the guitar I am interested in. I tell him I am a veteran and we normally get 10% anyway. He then precedes to tell me that he can’t even do that, or what he originally stated because it was on sale. Th is was a 157 dollar guitar on sale, so the savings was about 15 dollars, or after tax probably 4 dollars savings for me. In the end, I didn’t feel like I was getting good customer service, so I walked out over that 10 percent. IF it was never offered, fine, but it was. So they can run their business however they want to, but for me, a guitar can be bought anywhere, but no customer service is a deal breaker for me. Perhaps their hands are tied by corporate, at either rate, I don’t feel this is a place for me to do business anymore.
Was gaslit by the cashier when I went to buy a new guitar that had really bad fret wire.
Like, they were sharp and would leave shallow cuts in your skin.
Told me it was normal and was likely due to the humidity. Yeah, that was a lie. And thanks to the random woman who chimed in to also gaslight me into buying a guitar that wasn’t in sellable condition, for full price too..
Went to buy a bunch of drum accessories as I’m rehabbing my kit, and wanted guidance on appropriate choices and prices. There was no one to help. Settled on a pair of drum sticks, went to check out and the sales dudes just walked on by. I left the sticks on the counter, went home and bought all I need on Amazon. I wanted to buy local, but this Guitar Center doesn’t make that easy. Wasted my time driving over there.
Awesome experience doing business with them. Great service and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
The tubes Fuzz audio were everything they were described to be . They were the right fit for me and what I was going for tonally speaking
I messaged Fuzz Audio before placing the order as I was particular about the condition of the tubes. I wanted to have legitimate new old stock condition tubes. I wanted to spend the extra money to get clean working tubes and not have the hassle of trying to piece together all of them individually for my Deluxe Reverb. The order initially took over a week to ship out and then when the tubes arrived they were in less than “NOS” condition and the 12AT7s RCA blackplates I had requested were substituted with RCA 6201s. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have let me know beforehand. Besides this the tubes all looked used, I got that they are old but these had noticeable wear on the glass and pins. Their were issues with microphonics, logos worn and no original boxes. Were these tubes even tested? It was a big let down. I messaged Fuzz Audio Support and after a week or so they said I could send back the tubes I didn’t want and get a replacement. I sent back a microphonic RCA 12AX7 and worn out RCA 6V6. He sent me a message and let me pick out which replacement I wanted. Which was great but then the wrong tube arrived and after he messaged me saying the one I picked had been sold. He then let me know he would message me again when he got more tubes in but then never replied to my response so I decided to just leave it alone. Now I’ve been having issues with my reverb and tremolo so I took it to a shop to be looked at and what would you know I’ve got two tubes testing low. I’m not hard on my amps and this one’s been used rarely the past 6 months. Luckily the tubes should still be covered under warranty. So I sent an email to Fuzz Audio Support letting them know the issues and no response. I re-sent the email again a week later and still nothing.
Bottom line: There is a big difference between “Tests” NOS and NOS tubes and I’m extremely doubtful these tubes are truly NOS. I’ve had multiple fail in less than 6 months, issues with microphonics, terrible customer service and attention to detail, and impressively slow shipping. Save your money and look elsewhere.
It’s been 5 business days and many order hasn’t shipped
No response from their customer support for various questions. Website boasts shipping product within 24 hours, but I still have an order unfulfilled after 5 days. They charged me and took payment within a day, though. This company or website may be a scam. There is no phone number or address listed, and all contact is via text or email.
Update: they answered email inquiry regarding order and upgraded one of the tubes to make up for the delay & lack of response. Which was a nice gesture. (All prior questions remain unanswered – which was about product I was intending to buy, and now most likely won’t buy from them)
Within the same day I had a fraudulent charge made on my credit card for a large amount at Amazon – which I have not ordered from for over 3 months.
Security on Fuzz Audio’s website may be compromised, or perhaps one of their employees isn’t trustworthy. I would be wary of ordering from this company.
18. songs for seeds Highlands Ranch
Address: 2030 E County Line Rd #U, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 , Highlands Ranch , Colorado , United States
My little one (17 month old) loves rocking it out in class. The songs are fun not just for the kids, but for the adults as well. I like the format because they really get the kids involved rather than just passively sitting there. Learning numbers, shapes, colors, the alphabet, etc is incorporated so that the kids aren’t just singing and dancing to the music. Martha and Spencer are great too – very pleasant, accommodating and energetic. My son enjoys the classes and I would recommend this music school to any parent looking for a good balance of fun, music and learning.
I absolutely adore songs for seeds! They get my kiddo dancing and smiling every single time and have quickly become their favorite activity each week. Their free CD has many of their popular songs that we play in the car, and now we have many songs memorized for when we go in person and can sing along. The lead Spencer is incredibly interactive and great with kids from all ages from what I’ve seen. They’re all super personable too. This class has become an incredible part of my kids development that I can’t find better elsewhere.
Songs for Seeds is an amazing introductory music class for young children! I’m always amazed by how much material they cover in such a short time. The kids get to sing, dance, play instruments, learn about shapes, colors, animals, different cultures, all through the wonderful art of music. Spencer and Martha are such fun, energetic, and engaging teachers. I’m so glad to have found this awesome program for my (almost) 2 year. We look forward to it every week 🙂
Colin is an amazing musician with undeniable passion. He preformed at my wedding back in October and everybody loved him. He is extremely polite and mature. I definetly recommend Colin if you are looking for an authentic bagpiper for any occasion.
Excellent!
Colin is an amazing bagpipe player and musician! His beautiful, melancholy music added the perfect touch to my sister’s memorial service. So many people commented on how much they enjoyed his performance. His traditional Highland kilt and entire outfit was a thing of beauty. For such a young man he is a true professional!
