Great staff here. They are always willing to help a customer find what they need.
The new store looks great all in one Family dollar and dollar tree all in one good combination
I love the 2 in one store,I can find everything I need in 1 place
Prices on the shelf is never the right price when you get to the register
Family Dollar has really bettered there stocking services. I was in the store a couple.weeks ago and there were pallets of items to be stocked on the shelves blocking the isles so no one could get down the isles. If I was to have been the Fire Department I would have shut the store down for blocking the fire exits with pallets of items needed to be put on shelves. This has only happened once and I understand there is only so much room in the stocking area/warehouse area but it was ridiculously bad but over the past few times I have been in to make a purchase the isles were clear and no pallets were over running out into the shopping isles. Way to go on keeping a much cleaner store.
Found what I was looking for
First, the lady behind the counter was very nice considering I made the comment that i couldn’t find anything because there’s so many boxes of merchandise that is blocking the shelves. Stacks upon stacks some on carts, every isle. i inquired if they needed to hire a part time stock person? she said her management expected her and her co worker to put out stock, run the register and everything thing else involved with store operations.
Where is the owner? They need to take responsibility to get the store running properly and hire appropriate personnel.
I usually don’t shop here because the prices marked on the shelves do not coincide with those in the registers, which usually charge more than the shelf price.
That whole store is a wreck I don’t recommend going there.
Never any inventory. Always a mess. Employees are kind, they need more help.

Excellent and large selection of used books! Good prices and friendly service!!
This is such a sweet little store. Their selection of different titles was great and not limited to a couple of genres. Everything was priced reasonably, if not shockingly well, and their trade in program is unparalleled! I will be back once I finish reviewing my current books.
Good selection and good prices. Worth a visit!
It was okay. I gave them a 30 dollar book set in hopes that I’d have enough credit to get a book. I picked this store because I read that their credit system was generous. However, the woman there said she wasn’t sure how much credit she could give, so I’d have to leave my name and number. I told them I didn’t live in town, so the credit at a later date wouldn’t do any good. I said they could just keep them.
I then found two mass market paperback books that she said would be a dollar fifty. BUT there’s a 15 dollar card minimum. They said there was an ATM close by, but I wasn’t going to pay an ATM fee and withdraw the ATM minimum. I ended up leaving the books I’d picked.
She was nice and there was a large selection, but it just seems inefficient with the credit system. I feel like for what I gave them, the dollar fifty books would have been more than a fair trade. Worth a look, but I’d donate elsewhere if you’re interested in the credit and don’t plan to come back because the credit system is weird.
Great store with many items besides books. Large area having so many older and antique items.

Great little shop with a beautiful selection of plants!
Such a lovely, gorgeous place! My latte was delicious. Much better than a Starbucks. The ambiance, the shop owner, the open doors and windows, music, plants, decor all were amazing…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! It’s a whole experience and I can’t believe it’s just right there in Hogansville. I can’t wait to go back.
10/10 recommend Baraca! This place is a gem! The most beautiful plants ever in such a small town shop – I’m so glad to have a place like this so close to home. Currently have 5 plants from here and about to add more

There coffee good. Clean bathrooms. Friendly people. There gas prices are good and there hot dogs are not bad either.
Friendly service and the store area was clean but the restrooms need a wipe down cleaning on the walls. Two of the stalls we’re out of toilet paper. I would expect this on a weekend but not on a Tuesday night. The shower I had was not as clean as other Love’s I’ve been to. There was mold growing up the corners over half way up the walls and around the bottom. There was mold and slime build up around the outside of the shower. The shower head was broken and would only hang straight down. I was able to roll up a washcloth to prop it up under the shower head so that I could use it. Where the shower head was connected to the pipe the water was spraying onto the wall and ceiling outside of the shower. I tried to tighten it with no luck. I made my shower quick and threw down the extra towel for the water mess outside of the shower. Not the cleanliness I’ve come to expect at Love’s and I was disappointed.
Gas pump are tight for travel trailers and RVs.
Ok
I loves coming here every time I go out of town. But today I just left and this is the 1st their restrooms are nasty!!!! What’s going on with them?
Parking lot is 90% full @ 2:30 pm daily so govern yourself according
Won’t be coming back to this gas station. Charged all the money I had off my card when I pumped at a pump and paid 10$ for gas. Needed the money for an emergency smh still have no clue when’s it’s coming back to my bank

I was so glad to find a place close to home. I’ve not had my hair cut in a while because I just got tired of poor quality hair cuts. I was extremely pleased with the friendliness, the cleanliness, the quality and the overall atmosphere of the shop. I think I’ve found my new barber.
My husband and son have had nothing but amazing haircuts here. Very Talented. The most bang for your buck. The prices are great!
11. McDonald’s
Address: 1829 E Main St, Hogansville, GA 30230 , Hogansville , Georgia , United States
Best Mcdonald’s I have ever been to!! Friendly, fresh food, great drinks with good ice, fast service, and overall great
Your facilities were very clean and when I saw you had mcribs thank you for being very patient with my order ^^ I enjoyed this location more than my home locations
They forgot my honey after I specified
Ordered on my app and my brother asked for no onions. Guess they had to make them from scratch because it took 5 minutes wait after ordering to get the food. During the wait I went inside and the place was not very clean. I might move on after this and pick a different one down the road.
Check your order prior to leaving .
Staff was unfriendly. Took them 10 minutes to take our order as we stood at the counter. Ordered 3 orange juices they gave us 1 then waited another 5 minutes to tell us they was out then the orange juice the did give us tasted like water. Would not recommend stopping at this McDonald’s.
Very rude their sons are still on the lights are still on and went to the drive-thru and they try to tell me they were closed and did not serve me
I stopped in for a quick bite with my wife. There were no cashiers so we stood and waited for 10 minutes to order. The manager saw us and never came to take our order. We finally placed our order on the kiosk although we prefer to order from a person. The receipt said to pay at the counter, again, there was no cashier. When the manager did come up to the front, I asked him if I could pay now. His response was, “I got you”, and he promptly walked away and didn’t come back. We left after 25 minutes of waiting with no food and the worst service ever. McDonald’s should be ashamed of what they’ve become. I would have given them zero stars, but the lowest I could go was one star. Needless to say, we will never go to McDonald’s again.

Fun, Efficient, Professional. Neobolical Records and their mobile studio, do an amazing job producing signed artists and are a joy to record with even if you aren’t signed to their label.
14. The Grand Hotel
Address: 303 E Main St, Hogansville, GA 30230 , Hogansville , Georgia , United States
I have to start by saying that Pablo and his hospitality are top notch. If I could give 10 stars I would. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, all the detail and character and when you enter the front door, it just feels of comfort. The room was gorgeous, the porch balcony was perfect, the bed had the most comfortable mattress and wonderful sheets! The room was exceptionally clean, I can’t say enough and hope I covered everything! You will love your stay!
This is a place to stay if you are looking to get away from it all. The hotel has the old-world charm. The decor whisks you back in time. The floor boards creek as you walk through the hotel, letting you know they are old, having had so many walk on them. The 1890 room has a small but very thought-out drink menu. The food served was wonderful. The music and atmosphere were intoxicating. There are no plastic room keys but a real old school key with a room number tag. The rooms have no television, but they are very clean and comfortable. The whole hotel has a warm, inviting feel. Great for a Adult get away. Just keep in mind this is not a new building. If you expect to have silence and not hear the sounds of the building and other people this isn’t the place for you.
Gorgeous hotel, renovated and brought back to life. Rooms have huge ceilings, great wrap around porch overlooking Main Street. Several restaurants within walking distance.
We happened upon this amazing hotel Christmas Day night. Without reservations,we were warmly welcomed by phone and in less than 5 min, someone was there to get us registered and in our room. The renovations were very well done. I loved the mix of vintage with modern. The restraint used was so smart and classy. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to all. There was so much good (too many to list) and very little that wasn’t 100%. The bed was a little hard for our aging bodies, the gfi on the power strip kept tripping when trying to make coffee in the upstairs lobby. It took a little time to figure out what was going on. Our room had only one chair, so we sat in the upstairs lobby to eat, enjoy our wine etc.
Being Christmas day, the only thing open for food was Waffle House (dine in only) and the Walgreens where we got a bottle of wine and the Arby’s at the Loves. Not the hotel’s fault, just mentioning for reference.
Bed was very uncomfortable. We didn’t stay the night we just decided to drive home late last night. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful though and we will be back if the beds are updated to something softer.
My family of 3 was traveling long distances and booked a larger room to accommodate our space needs. The hotel itself is beautiful, everything is very clean, and the ease of check in was appreciated. The staff at the hotel and bar area were very nice.
Only complaint is you are at the mercy of the other guests. Which unfortunately is out of control of the hotel. It’s easy to hear the other guests and if they smoke on the porch you’ll be smelling it all night. The town train is also easily heard throughout the night. If you’re a light sleeper maybe pack a white noise machine?
Disappointed in conditions of hotel. Bathroom faucets had hit and cold reversed and mounting was loose. No water pressure in shower for even attempting to rinse off shampoo and soap.
Noisy from hall and lounge below room. Worse – coffee promised but never received.
Most disappointing was check in advertised for 2 pm but on arriving in town told it was 3 pm. Finally got someone to come give us key to room after calling.
Ok if you like being woken up at 4 a.m. because Trains, 18 wheelers, and deliveries.
15. Attina’s Music Store Inc.
Address: 378 Glynn St N, Fayetteville, GA 30214 , Hogansville , Georgia , United States
could i play the bass clarinet with a b flat clarinet mouthpiece
I came here to check out their drum section and ukuleles. The owner Jon is kind and professional, he gives you time and space to investigate the instruments. I bought my first steel drum here and recently a new ukulele. Definitely check this place out because not only is there a great selection of various instruments, the music store is a family business! Jon has kept this place thriving and alive since his saxophone playing father originally opened the store years and years ago ! I am looking at drum lessons next here. Aloha Attinas!
Good advice several choices to choose from awesome place
Good store
Have most items you may need however they’re a little pricey most things are available for less online.
This is a really great store with loads of musical equipment, basically everything you need and they also give guitar lessons here taught by highly skilled and competent professionals. I would recommend this store to anyone.
It was obvious that my presence was causing discomfort to the manager/cashier/whatever. I was not allowed to play a certain Epiphone Les Paul (not even a Gibson) because ‘they wanted to keep it clean’. I am a frikin professional guitarist with 11 years of experience and no music stores have ever denied me of handling an instrument. Highly offending for a first time visitor’s impression.
Go to Guitar Center and avoid this place, you’ll be glad you did.
Expensive, great variety
Guy was on phone the whole time…and we waited. Not sure this is the norm but it was my one and only visit
16. Piano Crafters & Music Co
Address: 2 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263 , Hogansville , Georgia , United States
Great place to buy a piano…Danny and staff have been very attentive to my needs. I have purchased 3 pianos over my 20 years with this business and have been very pleased with the sales and continued service of the instruments!
Danny is so nice and knowledgeable. If you need a piano or any work done to yours, go there! He is awesome
I enjoyed our conversation and the knowledge and experience they shared with me. I see why Elton John had them work on his piano. Thank you for the experience. One day I’ll have one of those beautiful pianos. I’ve got some work cut out for me. Sweet
Good people in ownership. Have only gone in the past for guitar lessons.
Good service. Nice showroom. Friendly staff.
My piano is the worst sent they been by, it was out of tune but at least all the keys worked, I will never use them again
17. Walk A Mile Ministries
Address: 5710 Hwy 29, Grantville, GA 30220 , Hogansville , Georgia , United States
Great store for all your string instrument needs, with first rate professional support and advice for all levels of playing.
Wonderful place and the people there are the nicest people ever
Chris was so helpful and extremely patient as I tried to find the perfect violin/bow combination! He was eager to help me find the perfect combo, not just trying to make money off of me. They offer great price ranges and a variety of stringed instruments. I’ll definitely be back!
Ronald Sachs rehaired my bow last time and they have been extremely friendly and courteous every time I’ve been by. I would give them five out of five except I turned in my bow for a repair a month ago and they called two weeks ago to say it had been broken in half because they mailed it to their north side location in a softer package, not the PVC tube, and it got crushed by the USPS. It wasn’t very nice but I had it for 20 years so while it is cheap to replace, it had a lot more sentimental value. They said they would call in a week and now it’s been two with no call back so I want you all to know you need to insist on the PVC shipping tube with every rehair. It’s a good store but I will now proceed with caution.
I was very excited to go up here and rent my daughters cello but the feeling did not seem mutual. It May have been the fact that I was under a time constraint but the gentleman just didnt seem to care. I was never contacted about the cello I inquired about either and ended up going elsewhere to get it.
19. Karvelas Pizza Co. Hogansville
Address: 104 Commerce St, Hogansville, GA 30230 , Hogansville , Georgia , United States
We visited for dinner on Saturday and were quickly seated for dine in. Served was knowledgeable and courteous.
Atmosphere was awesome, with seating close to the pizza making area and dough being tossed aloft regularly.
We ordered a build your own will a couple of meats, it arrived fairly quickly and piping hot.
It was probably the best 2 topping pizza I’ve had in the US!
The owner took the opportunity to say hi and have a chat with us, he’s a pleasant guy to talk to.
I’d definitely recommend dropping in here.
The garlic and cheese combo pizza was okay. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. Even the appetizers, you got to take a loan out let alone a full course meal.
Slightly overpriced but amazing
I Ordered 3 times extra cheese. When I got the pizza, I could see right through the cheese that it was light cheese. The flavor was good. The wings were average but good. I gave 3 stars on service because the waitress looked at the pizza and said it was triple cheese when it was obviously not. They were polite & did remove at least 2 of the cheeses off the check. But with 30 wings, two pizzas with 5 or fewer toppings each, fried pickels & 4 drinks, 1 was kids, and it was $100 before tip. Pricing is very high. I just like to get what I pay for if you order 3x extra cheese knowing that they are $4 a topping you absolutely expect to get what you order.
Kid-friendliness: It was kid friendly nothing out of line for kids
After seeing your establishment advertised on facebook I thought I would give it a try. Sad to say that I’m disappointed the frys where either over seasoned, or over salted, pizza was average at best not to mention the fact that when the pizza was served apparently I was meant to eat the pizza off of the table as no plates where offered. I also ordered chicken wings which was the best part of the meal unfortunately one of the wings were still RAW. Definently the quality of the food doesnt match the price of what you pay for it, and I have no interest of ever eating at your establishment again
2 pizzas, almost $50. Dry and over cooked
My fiance and I have been wanting to try Karvelas since we seen it on Atlanta eats, but really haven’t had the time. We finally made time to order and go pick it up. This was the worst Pizza I have ever eaten. It was burnt on the bottom and dripped of grease.I also ordered fried pickles, they were floating in the grease and looked like a pile of mush. My fiance had wings and he said they were very good but greasy. Really disappointing
20. Jackson’s Music Store Inc
Address: 5485 Westmoreland Plaza, Douglasville, GA 30134 , Hogansville , Georgia , United States
Excellent customer service and super nice people they will go all out to help you
Since I was a kid I’ve been coming here for all of my musical needs and lessons.I am 34 now and still,it very much feels like home everytime I come back. The staff has always been helpful, and very knowledgeable on products as well. Please dont ever change!!!
Staff is friendly.
Music is awesome
Good people
Great help.
I’ve been here several times and they are constantly helpful and efficient. They took a look at my cello at no cost and let me know it didn’t need to be fixed yet. I appreciate their honesty.
People there are polite enough, but have no business sense, if you’re not familiar with the music industry they will belittle you. Do not sell equipment to them, they only do consignment (which is a very outdated idea imo), and offer a 70/30% which is higher than typical music shops.
I really wanna like this place, but there is a guy that’s been here for years, and everytime I’ve gone in he has been crabby about something. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but he’s not to cool to the customers anytime I’ve been around.
