My name is Judy and I am feeling blessed to find this gem of a place. Not only did I pick up some lovely pieces to work on for lapidary projects but “Adam”, the lovely owner shared some of his stories with us on how he makes cabochons. A very spirited man who I will never forget.
Love it
We had a lovely conversation with the owner about rocks and the art he makes. Will come back.
If you have young boys that are interested in rocks, it’s worth a stop if your driving by.
Closing. Nice gentleman though .helpful
Cool place, large selection of legal petrified wood and other assortments (Geode’ s, ect.) Worth stoppig and supporting our American historical towns and there communities.
So expensive and so unfriendly. No need to do business with this unkind person !
No one was there, all locked up, despite signs saying they should be open at that time. (I do love all the dinosaurs around the store)
closed when we went midday and phone was disconnected
4. Arizona Pawnman
Address: 601 Navajo Blvd, Holbrook, AZ 86025 , Holbrook , Arizona , United States
PJ was so helpful and kind!!! Thank you and price very reasonable. We had to stop to find some type of gaming system for our 6yr old for the rest of a 14hr drive home.
Nice place and friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping by.
PJ is the best
I would give a more thorough review but they hung up on me when looking for their prices on gold. I would prefer tgem just giving the dollar amount per pennyweight or gram over the phone so I don’t waste my time. They told me to come in and they could weigh it etc. But I am not going to deal with the predatory atmosphere. My gold is worth exactly what tge market calls for. I dont mind a small fee but if they won’t give you their going rate then it’s a bad idea to enter into a transaction. If its 10 grams or 15 penny weight I have a calculator.
car broke down in this little town. so i thought i would sell a few silver rounds. offered $7 below spot! $10 when silver was at $17. dont sell silver here. they didnt even know why would one buy silver. the going rate is $!-$2 below spot price. they take advantage of people in a need. not all pawn shops do such business. i understand the greed. its hard to resist. but the ignorance is sad.

When will fume vapes hit the west coast???
I am really hot happy at all with this place, I have bought 2 high grade cookies batteries from this place and both of them do not work. I have taken one back to get it replace just for the second to do the same thing. People come there to spend good money on products the most we ask for is at least products that actually work and function right. The guy that sold it to me pulled it out of the package and the battery had no charge at all to it. I’m not sure what is going on with this stuff but it really needs to be fixed. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but in this case I feel like my money was stolen from me.
Sooo.. I went there to look at vapes the person their phone.. I wanted to ask more questions.. but she wasn’t interested.. I just bought a vape real quick and got out.. becuz it seemed like she didn’t wanna help.. bad service
Couldn’t enter. They have a random entry step which is hostile to mobile accessibility scooters. ⛔♿

This location is not closed, give Phillip a call and he will promptly meet you at the location. Dont let the rough exterior fool you this is a place worth stopping. Phillip is genuinely a treasure of information.
Great antique store, very nice owner!!
Not out of business, but open by appointment only during the winter. The proprietor is friendly and knowledgeable. Interesting and varied selection of furniture, artwork, clothing, and jewelry.
Out of business

Very nice and helpful employees, and they have almost everything you need.
Excellent customer service and super bargins
Great place
A bit outdated,staff wasnt friendly, semi/clean
Good people where nice and easy to find items
The employees are very friendly. The store needs some cleaning up. You have to maneuver around boxes and rubbish thru the aisles. The clothing racks and shelves are a mess. Checking out can be a hassel due to the chatty cashiers.
Little store very messy had a bunch of clothing carts in the isle’s had find a way around them couldn’t find what I was looking for due to those carts.
Love the staff but store is always a mess with unloaded merchandise!
Not a very clean store, lots of items out of stock. Cashier was friendly and nice, didn’t get her name.

11. TA Travel Center
Address: 3747 Express Dr, Holbrook, AZ 86025 , Holbrook , Arizona , United States
5 truck stop. Food is good, lots of choices, Shop is very clean and personal is knowledgeable and kind, facility are looking new, lot’s of parking, fuel islands are clean and all working good.
One of my favorite places to stop
good place to get gas
Friendly staff
It’s clean but have expired tobacco products on the shelves, so make sure you check the expiration dates.
Ta washed up
If i could go less i would, the gas station tried to charge me 172$ for a 20$ fill up. The company said i waited to long to get my money back when the management told me to wait 5 business days. Never going there again i hope no one ever goes there again and they go out of business.
Most of the time they are out from coffee stuff, some times they dont have creamers, some times they dont have cups and some times they dont have coffee even.
Nice people, but the amenities are not equipped for night runners. Other TA’s set the bar much higher than here. Running a load at night? Unless you need a bathroom or fuel, skip this place.
12. Stewart’s Petrified Wood Shop
Address: Washboard Rd, Holbrook, AZ 86025 , Holbrook , Arizona , United States
This was a very…odd place to say the least, but it was an interesting little stop for us. We stopped because we seen numerous billboards prompting us to feed the ostriches! The kids enjoyed feeding them! They were a bit aggressive but we weren’t sure how often they were being fed, so they could have just been hungry. The little store on the property was a bit dirty/dusty but it is in the middle of a desert area. The merchandise inside the store was really cool, petrified wood and geodes with other little trinkets.
Very fun place to stop, very beautiful selection. Great customer service!!
The awesome Ms. Gazell is a gem among gems. Stewart’s has some remarkable specimens. It isn’t your typical tourist trap gift shop. It’s an adventure. Don’t be afraid to pull up, take pictures, go in and look around. You never know what you will find. Stay, listen to a bit of the history of the area. You won’t be sorry.
Great gift hidden inside this place!!
Can be seen from the I-40 freeway.
Good place for geodes and petrified wood. He has some really cool pieces but very pricey. I would’ve bought some bookends but the price was too high. I know it takes a lot of work to cut and polish this stuff. Still , great pieces though!
Dusty and run down.
Place is a rip off
After driving around and through all the pot holes in the drive way, we got to the door. It had so many signs about masks on the door you couldn’t see in. We didn’t have masks so we skipped it and went to the next rock shop to spend our cash. The driveway was much nicer. Maybe next time.
