Nice guitar shop good service very nice people…thanks for being here in Hot Springs.
As always, I appreciate Guido’s welcoming as I enter his store. He is helpful and generous and a true Gentleman. I enjoy doing business with a guy who is a friend, honest and humble.
I’ve been dealing with Guido for years.
He’s a customer focused business owner and a real musician. He is incredibly knowledgeable and always tries to
fit each client, with the right instrument.
I’ve purchased and traded many guitars
with Guido and I’ve never walked away
without a smile. If you need a set of strings,
or are looking for a good deal on a nice guitar,
don’t look anywhere else.
Great service and reasonable prices.
I bought a 1949 Gibson LG3 from Guido at the Arlington Guitar Show this past weekend that he stated to be all original. Within 24 hours I discovered the bridge had been replaced which effects its value greatly. I asked for some compensation for this change & Guido refused to give me a break on price & refused to take it back. He stated “I should give him back money from our last transaction or he would do nothing for me”. Is this how you want to be treated by a so called expert ? There was no offer ever made to buy back both guitars back from me at all. Never again will I be burned by Guido !
Only doing one star because no stars is not an option.
I’ve dealt with this store a few times and each time it’s literally been worse.
Bought a guitar and the binding broke off immediately – they blamed me.
$200 fix and I had to take it to another music shop I trust.
Asked for help on another matter and they told me it was “too much trouble.”
They literally don’t care about you just wanting your money.
If you do business with them beware.
I have lived in Hot Springs for a year and a half now and I pass this this guitar shop almost every day on my way home. As a guitar player and music enthusiast I have been interested in visiting this store but never found time to do so. I finally was able to go inside the music store recently and I have NEVER in my life been treated so poorly. I went with a friend of mine in early January. I was browsing the guitars, and even picked one up and stood at the register waiting to ask about a price on the guitar, since there was no price tag. The clerk was too busy talking to his buddy to even acknowledge my presence. After several minutes I returned the guitar to the shelf. Finally the clerk was done talking and I inquired about two guitars. I received very short answers that seemed ridiculous amount-wise. I honestly believe the prices I was quoted were made up on the spot. My friend had found a guitar strap that he thought I would like and brought it over to show me, then he returned it to the shelf after I told him that I rarely use a guitar strap. I continued browsing, and when I rounded the corner and came close to the register, the clerk said to me “what did you do with that guitar strap?” I replied that I had never touched a guitar strap. It doesn’t take a genius to realize this man was accusing me of shoplifting. A few minutes later the same clerk approached my friend and me and very rudely told us to leave the %&#@ing store and not to ever come back. He said we were suspicious because we hadn’t been to the store before and that we were wearing coats! May I remind you, it was JANUARY! Yes, we had never been to the store because my friend was from out of town and this was my first time to visit the store. I’m not going to lie and claim to be rich, but I enjoy buying new guitars and other instruments. I tried to talk to the clerk as an adult, even though his demeanor was that of someone on steroids trying to pick a fight. I guess this store doesn’t want new customers, and heaven help us if its cold outside and you’re wearing a jacket. I feel very disappointed at the customer relations of this store. My friend and I were potential customers and were treated as shoplifters simply because we were new and had jackets on. This is absolutely absurd and I can’t for the life of me understand why this guy attacked us. I have never had an experience this insane at a music store, and I’ve been to many guitar shops all over the country. If this clerk was not the owner of the store, then the actual owner should relieve him of his job because he is hurting the stores income by bullying customers for wearing a jacket in January. I can’t believe I was treated this way. There aren’t words to express how badly we were treated and how upset I am about this experience. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know and meet about the way they run their business there and recommend that they find a different store, one that treats its customers with dignity and respect. By the way, this store didn’t have a very good selection of anything and ridiculous prices, I have no idea how they are still in business. If they treat all new customers this way their future is bleak. Thanks, Hot Springs music–Guido especially, for being the rudest, most disrespectful, and worst customer service store ever! You’d get 1/4 of a star if I could mark it that way. You should be ashamed of yourself for acting like a child. Disgusting.

Went by for odd cables, not expecting him to have them, and he did!
Not only that, he invited us back to check out the stage, a floor tom tympany which was amazing! I never knew one existed.
Top notch everything!
I’ll be back!
When and to check this place out and I received excellent service. The worker was very knowledgeable about things.
These boys know their stuff, enjoyed visiting and purchasing guitar parts.
These guys are always willing to help and are really knowledgeable .
My one stop shop for all my musical needs. You can also record tracks. Awesome place.
The guy I see on weekends named Douglas is always friendly and a big help.
I bought everything from guitar cases to a JBL top of line PA from them before I found out they are totally BOGUS! Sold me used merchandise as new, then got an attitude when I called them on it! Cuss me out when you’re a thiefing liar? I don’t think so! I wouldn’t buy a guitar pick from these people!!!
Not enough inventory
I bought a lot of things from Brent when the store sold instruments and amps and was always happy with them. Unfortunately, things have changed. I brought a guitar in that needed a rewire job. I was aware they were busy with festivals but they kept my guitar for 2 months and finally called and told me they didn’t have time to fix it. Needless to say, I wont be back.

Big selection of records. Has cd and dvd as well. Easy parking.
Y’all have got to go see Pat. He has records you’ve never seen before and will chat and play whatever you want to hear.
Amazing place, great variety. Found a Prince 1989 Batman album, wish I had the money to buy it. Pat is super fun to talk to, knows a lot about music. Super kind, and if I lived in the area, I would come back often.
Needs to update store hours. Drove 20 minutes to see that they were closed.
7. Hawkins Family
Address: 216 Bryant Rd, Hot Springs, AR 71909 , Hot Springs Village , Arkansas , United States
Cleanest Walmart ever. Never ever have to wait in line. Have gotten addicted to the grocery pick up!
Friendly service
This walmart is not a supercenter so don’t expect it to have a great variety selection. Big disappointment.
Typical Walmart
If your on highway 7 it is the best place to shop.
As f5
Don’t care for this Walmart,it don’t have alot of Walmart brand things, only shop there if I have to
This store is way to small to support The Village. The selection is minimal and they are always out of the things I need or they do not carry them at all. I have a granddaughter that I buy toys for and the selection is limited there as well. Staff seems nice and are helpful. As with all walmart the lines are always long and it takes time to get checked out. I have also noticed that the prices are higher than the walmart in Hot Springs.
Love this place. Always find the most unique variety of stuff
Fun place to look around. Some unique items and artwork. I like the concept of it and the social environment associated with it.
Horrible customer service! I came in and wanted to purchase a picture for my husband, inquired about it at the counter and the lady called someone who had previously looked at it (the person put no deposit down to hold this item) and the lady sold the picture to this person right in front of me!! One of the most unprofessional things I have ever experienced and I will never set foot in this place again.
It’s okay.

Always has what I want. Quality! Quick in and out service.
Good selection and good prices
OK but a bit dangerous getting in and out of the parking lot
Helpful staff. Good selections…. for Arkansas. Well priced. Will be my go to location
Decent prices great people
I just wanted to echo the previous review. There were no masks (except mine) when I went into this place. This time it was a younger man working behind the counter. I really think this is a broader problem with the store, which I think all potential customers should know before they enter the door.
Slow, slow.Order incorrect after specifically asking to check order again. I am allergic to dairy.I asked for a sausage, egg mcmuffin NO CHEESE,a large 1/2 cut tea. I recievd a cheese sausage mcmuffin. My tea was unsweet ,and no straw.
The girls working this store are friendly and customer focused. Unfortunately neither of them were wearing masks despite mask warnings on the front door. It is amazing to me that this business owner doesn’t get it. No more buying my booze here!
Thanks for replying to my review. I appreciate the passion you have for your business. Your employees were super friendly and worked hard to service my needs. Unfortunately they were within 6 feet of my space without masks. This violates CDC guidelines and the Arkansas governors recommendations. You own this and you should correct it. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas.
