Fantastic experience with Fuller. We took our small cover band to Fuller’s Mountain Man Music. It’s a great studio, he is an excellent musical engineer and a UI Grad to boot! I really enjoyed meeting him and working with him and so did the whole band. I would definitely work with him again.

What a terrific music school: well organized, gifted and excellent teachers, attention to the kids’ interests, well planned out growth path for kids, periodic concerts and show of talents events – I could go on and on. Our teacher was Scott, and my son enjoyed every lesson with him. Scott is a talented musician and a talented teacher simultaneously. He is a very inspiring, thorough and a gentle teacher. When my son wanted to sing in addition to playing piano, Scott took out the time to find an excellent set of songs that were liked by my son and fit my son’s vocal capabilities and skill level. This developed even more of my son’s interest, confidence, and talent. Scott strikes a special accord with kids somehow. My son says Scott is the best teacher – thank you, Scott, so very much. We had to move to another state and we miss Scott and all of the teachers in Moscow Music Academy very much. Thank you Scott, Michelle, Emma, and everybody at MMA for your dedication, leadership, talent, and willingness to teach such a wonderful subject – a gift really – as music.
We are so happy with our experience at Moscow Music Academy. We love our sons teacher. The staff super friendly staff, and they have a great facility. Highly recommended!
5. Revolver Vintage Boutique & Record Store
Address: 309 S Main St, Moscow, ID 83843 , Latah County , Idaho , United States
This store had great service and great prices. The staff was very nice to me and were fun to talk too. Their merchandise was only $30 for a sweater which is a great price, records were priced better than Walmart, and it was overall one of if not the best experiences at a vintage store I have ever had and I can’t wait to go there again. Thank you Revolver Records.
New cool spot in town. I have been in a few times to sink my teeth in their large music selection more than anything else, but that’s what I like. They have lots of cool vintage wear too.
You become more cool just by walking into this store.
Didn’t end up buying anything, simply because I’m a broke college student, but the selection was solid enough. Definitely 4-star worthy! Not necessarily 5, but above 3!!
cute place with friendly staff! minus a star because the clothes are rather on the expensive side. good selection of vinyl, i wish the CD collection was more modern but it was fine too
I have been in this store twice. Once the experience was sub-par, the second time a few weeks ago was downright embarrassing for the store. The employee working was extremely rude, and tried to offer me far, far less than what I knew the item I was selling was worth.
Go to the Storm Cellar instead. Much better selection, they don’t sell such worn out items of clothing, you get a better price for your product, and the owners are awesome and they hire great folks. 1000% better experience every time.
Silly place that takes itself way too seriously
Selection is decent but horridly overpriced. I’ve been thrifting and collecting vintage pieces for a long time and the markups on some of the items are insane. There’s some good stuff and unique items, but a lot of it is just basic stuff you can find at a thrift store with the cost of a Seattle vintage shop. It’s sad to see greedy pricing with resellers.
6. Georgina Bustelo Piano Studio LLC.
Address: Rolling Hills Dr, Moscow, ID 83843 , Latah County , Idaho , United States
My 5 year old started lessons with Georgina last summer. It is incredible to see the skill she has developed in just 6 months. Georgina caters each lesson to my daughter and includes kid-friendly activities to ensure she is engaged. I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful piano teacher in our community. I highly recommend Georgina’s studio to anyone interested in learning the piano.
Very thorough and thoughtful teaching, greatly recommended.
7. Seidel Music & Repair
Address: 344 Thain Rd, Lewiston, ID 83501 , Latah County , Idaho , United States
Kelly is great! He has Fantastic prices & he is very skilled, highly recommend!
Kelly is a freaking guru when it comes to setup and repair! Fair pricing on new gear, friendly customer service and professional repairs. Best hometown music store around!
I have been going to guitar stores large and small and even luthiers die the past 12 years in California, Vegas, southern and northern Idaho and I can say without a doubt the best one I’ve been to is Kelly at Seidel’s. If your looking for a friendly, honest, and experienced technician then look no further. His rates for repairs are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the repairs. And his prices for the equipment in the store more than compete with internet prices at least from what I have found. So glad I moved into this area of Idaho so close to his store.
Good place and quick.
Good atmosphere great guys
Nice guy, good work! I had them fix a clarinet.
One gentleman who works there is nice but the other is quite rude and makes you feel like unless you buy from them, your stuff is garbage.
They ran a hard credit check on my credit report without my knowledge or consent. I’m very mad at the ding it caused my credit score. Plus it’s just cheaper to buy off amazon. These mom and pop shops are closing themselves down by their own actions. Bye-bye!
8. Grubbs Pro Drum Center
Address: 1208 N Mountain View Rd, Moscow, ID 83843 , Latah County , Idaho , United States
I took lessons from Matthew throughout my high school years in Moscow. He is a very skilled drummer, and was such a pleasure to work with. In high school, I won the title of Distinguished Young Woman. This program featured a talent portion, which I won by playing a drum solo Matt and I co-wrote. I went on to the state competition, where I won the state talent award as well. I now have a career as a Worship Leader, where I also train musicians for a living. None of this would be possible without Matthew’s investment in me! He will help you reach your drumming goals!
I have been taking drum lessons from Matt for a few years and it has taught me so much about music and percussion. It is something I genuinely look forward to every week! He is an amazing teacher. When covid hit, he took all the necessary precautions which I liked (e.g. cleaning all the equipment between lessons, wearing a mask, etc.) When I first began taking lessons I knew absolutely nothing about the drums and Matt was super patient and good at helping me understand and learn the basics to drumming. Now, I’m learning songs I never thought I’d be able to play! I suggest you take lessons from him, he’s awesome!
Matt has been teaching my daughter for 3 years. She is very driven, but has a hard time focusing on the task at hand sometimes… Matt was able to keep her attention, and help her stay focused. He is an amazing drummer, but an even more amazing teacher. So patient, and able to adapt to any type of learning abilities. I would absolutely recommend him to everyone. Best teacher, ever. Hands down.
The staff was friendly and the items we purchased we’re lower than at our normal Walmart
They were able to fill my Rx very quickly! Awesome service! Thank you!
We practically live here. Always friendly and helpful staff.
The usual wall mart crowds of people
Typical Walmart, quite a few questionable employees such as the girl wearing a rainbow tutu with her uniform
I found what I needed quickly and found an open checker; out.
Workers are rude asked 4 diff ones to help locate a food item that we’re stalking food and they we’re no help at all one couldn’t get off his phone to even listen to me i would go Pullman before returning to this place
Pullman Walmart is way better due to the size and worth the drive.
I try to shop anywhere else mostly because of its location. The online grocery pickup is handy, and their prices are ok, I just prefer less busy shopping areas.
The sales staff is comprised of real musians. They know what the sell and can speak intelligently about their products.
Very professional
I decided not to do the work on my instrument and went to pick it up. When I arrived, they said they already did part of the work. They said cost for me would be less than they originally thought because the fix was easy. Since the labor costs were less, I decided to go ahead and leave the instrument and have them do the rest of the work. After all the work was complete, I went to pick up the instrument and they said that the price was not going to be reduced like they had originally said. Sad thing is that one of the employees was there knew about the reduced price. He did not back me up. Sad. Otherwise the work was fine.
After being scoffed at and made to feel as though I needed to be rude, I will likely not shop here again. At least they had the guitar strings I was looking for.
Nice selection. Got myself a Merlin!!
Rented an instrument from them for several months and was set up with automatic payment. Due to illness I was unable to return the instrument prior to the renewal charge. I called the day of the renewal to see if I could get the charge voided if I brought the instrument in that day or simply be reimbursed at a prorated amount (e.g. pay for the extra day that I had the instrument instead an entire month). I was told rather bluntly that I was already charged and to keep it for another month. This is somewhat understandable, however, this is not how you win over a customer. They’ve lost any further business from myself and those that I can share my experience with.
Been in a couple of times to browse and for quick items you need reoccurring (e.g. strings, reeds etc). Always try to cheat me…. always over priced… always condescending. Staff was often “above” helping the beginner. Only wish we had closer options. I’ll pass from now on and plan a little better for my musical needs.
Brought my childhood guitar into keeney bros due to financial hardship, they originally offered $400 to buy it, ($900 guitar) and I told them I would go home and think about it. I mentioned I was only selling because my utilities would be shut off later that day if I didn’t come up with money. I made the mistake of telling keeney bros I owed $300 to the utilities company. I returned a few hours later they dropped their offer to $300 because they basically knew I couldn’t refuse. I returned one year later after getting on my feet financially to politely ask if they still had it, to which the associate responded “I’m not curating a museum, man” and attempted to pitch a new guitar despite the fact I told him I was only returning to inquire about my old guitar for deep sentimental reasons. Very disappointed with my experience at this store.
