Your typical Pilot/Flying J, nothing special really.
Excelente lugar, muy buena atención, lugares siempre limpios
Very good and friendly
Good place to stop along I-5
Bueno un lugar donde se compra gasoline muy barata y esta de Paso
To much wait for shower
This place has gone to hell. Can’t get coffee all machines broken, pumps down, store is dirty. And lovely Lupita is beyond rude, I don’t care if you grew up on the streets around here, not all women are scared of other women. A little kindness and biting ones cheek would go a long way.
They never have beef hot dog for the ones that dont eat pork im a truck driver and when im Hungary there never there for me smh
3. Love’s Travel Stop
Address: 21948 CA-46, Lost Hills, CA 93249 , Lost Hills , California , United States
On 1/31/2022 I went in to get my alternator checked. As I suspected, it was bad, and needed to be changed. The men at the shop did a great job on the repair. Very quick and very knowledgeable about the job. Thank you Juan S., Big Joey, and Camry the Tech for all of your help with getting me back on the road.
Todo bien
Good food
Easy in easy out.
I love how they have a dog area that is fenced. I try and use these truck stops because they always have alot of pump’s, clean bathroom.
They have the best coffee.
One of the most disgusting woman’s bathroom that I’ve seen in a long time! It is in need of repairs and deep cleaning ASAP!
Rude workers on their phones gossiping to each other not even acknowledging a customer trying to purchase products and give a purse foubd un the ladies room. I left the purse on the counter by the register, hopefully the owner recieves it.
One of the LEAST cleanest Loves truck stops. I did see an employee mopping the floors, but this truck stop needs Jesus and a deep cleaning! The store smells like rotten eggs or the trucker entrance does.
FYI; Parking lot is super tiny and gets very crowded, not oversized friendly.
But on the positive side, there’s a great food truck across the street from the parking lot!

The Guitar Merchant is a place to rock. Come and see us this May 20 on Saturday 2017. Austin Jons and the Immortals. #RockShow
I love coming here all the time to practice with my jam linkin park bros
Local, nice staff, great room for performing, and you can buy instruments here.
The staff at the store were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. I bought a guitar for my daughter and felt the price was fair.
Freindly owner supports live music
So bad treatment if you are Latino 🙂
6. West Valley Music Center
Address: 24424 Vanowen St, West Hills, CA 91307 , Lost Hills , California , United States
The best piano Teachers so far. Miss Min is great.
Great place for lessons and instruments! Rentals are reliable and cheap. Good local spot.
Great music center to enhance music expertise of your kids and adult. All the staff are kind and kids friendly. Jeff, the owner, is super nice and listens to your needs. Great prices for instruments too.
Jeff is a one of a kind teacher,as well as a great guy, never charges me the actual sticker price for strings!if you have kids I would highly recommend jeff as a teacher!how rare is it to find a guy through his teaching has brought the gift of music to so many people, playing an instrument ,being close to music brings an inner peace to your life!thanks jeff
Took some guitar lessons there with Craig (Craig is awesome!) for a bit. A place to get emergency guitar strings, cord, etc. Very limited selection, small store. Mostly a place for lessons.
We have rented several instruments over the years and have been very pleased with West Valley. I’ve got a couple of more kids on the way up musically so I imagine I’ll be back.
We had used the place previously to buy sheet music and small things like mouthpiece and such. Last month we wanted to rent a trombone for a short time. Owner was unhappy to rent it just for few weeks but did it. They asked for $100 deposit. Kid is a very responsible child that has played piano for years and brass instrument for an year (knows how to take care of them). He made a point to be super careful with rented instrument. We returned it on time exactly as recieved but couldn’t get deposit back because “owner is out of town”. Few weeks later my wife went to get deposit back (finally) and was told that child isn’t responsible, didn’t take care of instrument and it required repair to the tune of $65. No proof (“This is how we do it”, per owner), no photos of “damage”, no receipt. Just giving back $35 instead of a $100. Nice way to do business. You just turned away the customers that are very much into music and could’ve bought next instrument or two from you.
They “open at 10.” Got there at 10 after, and they were STILL closed. It’s a small shop; I peeked through the window to see if they carried some books I was looking for, and it seems that, at least at the front, they don’t. Poor selection. Maybe there are more in the back…? Disappointed.
7. Angel City Guitars
Address: 4920 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364 , Lost Hills , California , United States
Nice place with very high end gear. I was interested in compressor pedals and Olay set me up with 3 to try out. I will definitely be back!
This place amazing! If you are looking for boutique guitars this is your spot. Not a “cookie cutter” guitar store. If play guitar and you have never been here, you’re missing out big time!
Olay is a great guy, who knows a lot about the stuff that he sells, he is super helpful and responsive. His shop also has a great selection of guitars, amps, pedals and strings. Highly recommend his shop especially to guitar enthusiasts, pros and to all kinds of guitar lovers.
best quality!
I emailed Angel city guitars for an inquiry about trading in a guitar for another one as I am aware this shop has these services. He responded once asking for which guitar I was interested in, I gave him the guitars I would be interested in and he just ghosted me. I tried following up a couple days later giving him the benefit of the doubt and still did not respond. Stay away from this place.
Nobody is here. Store is dark. Waste of time. Guy showed up
Back in October of 2021, I reached out to Angel City Guitars to have this guitar built for my 30th birthday (in May of 2022). They said it was a 3-4 month wait so I paid in full upfront and went on my merry way. 3 months go by and I reach out to ACG and ask for an ETA and they say, “Well actually it is going to be closer to 6-8 months but you are lucky because other brands have over a year wait”. And every time I would ask him a question, he would keep saying that I was “lucky to have a shorter wait than other brands”. I wasn’t super pleased with this so I asked about the cancellation policy since blue JM63s come up fairly regularly on Reverb for less than the custom that I ordered and he kept side stepping answering my question. Long story short, I decided to keep waiting for the matching headstock. Then I did not hear from him for 4 months, no updates, no check-ins, nothing. So I reach out at 7 months and ask about an ETA and he says, “It should get here sometime in June”. So we plow through June and I ask for updates because I am traveling and have studio dates set and he ignores my emails. Then 3 days shy of 8 full months and weeks of being ignored, he messages me that the guitar has arrived.
So I go and pick up my guitar and I am excited to see and play it in the shop and I take it home. I have it sitting out next to my other guitars and the fretboard looks orange-ish grey almost like they spilled bleach on part of the fretboard. I sat with it a bit longer but I grew to not be happy with it so I reached out asking how we can go about getting a replacement neck since it looked so bad and he never responded to me.
I had to email Nash directly and we worked out getting a replacement neck. I tried to “support the little guy” by going to this shop and it was my worst guitar buying experience of my life.
8. McCabe’s Guitar Shop
Address: 3101 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405 , Lost Hills , California , United States
Great place, awesome selection, horrible prices. I love supporting local shops like this one, and don’t mind paying 10-20% markup. Unfortunately, McCabe’s markup is more like 80-100%, so I can’t justify paying $250 for an instrument that retails for $90, no matter how much I love the store.
They are so rude like what? 10 min before closing I needed a quick thing in and out and they had a huge attitude, honestly wish I hadn’t spent my money.
The child that does guitar setups should take a class in humanity! Rude and and talked down to me and my kid.. been going to this shop since 82 and was happy to know covid didnt take down the business BUT this guy should NOT be working with customers – he can set up a guitar not like he found the cure to cancer – you need to be kind man!! Or hit the bricks!!
Came in with my instrument for repair on 1 string
Repairman was rude, unhelpful and basically told me to screw off because he doesn’t fix unusual instruments.
I wouldn’t come back ever! Nor will I recommend this shop to my colleagues
9. Full Score Music
Address: 42741 45th St W, Lancaster, CA 93536 , Lost Hills , California , United States
Well stocked and owner is very knowledgeable of what he has. Always a great place to find something new to spin
The owner Wayne and his store is super nice, he’ll talk to you if you wanna talk to just let you space out and go craye digging, the whole experience is so fun it is a huge variety of records to go through so you can spend awhile if you wanna just exploring there’s everything from the latest mainstream Taylor Swift records to obscure Frank Zappa. You really get to have the cathartic moment of finding something you wouldnt expect, i wanted Patty Smyth’s solo debut Never Enough (which isnt on Spotify for some reason) and not only was it there it was a rare promo edition of it from 1987, all for $8.00.
I also learned i can do special orders so immediatly placed two of them to complete my Phoebe Bridgers & side projects discography.
On a side note, i am a trans person and staff and all the customers were super polite and welcoming towards me and this is a place ill use instead of amazon or ebay every time, not just because its a nice place to go or to support a local small business but their prices are very reasonable and competitive as well.
great place friendly owner lots of memorbilia
Good
I felt like because I was black I was treated nasty
Everything went well owner was cool until I went to open one of the two CDs I purchased and guess what? No CD…. Best $6 I ever spent.
Not accommodated and felt uncomfortable
10. L.A. Guitar Sales
Address: 9028 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90069 , Lost Hills , California , United States
Very reliable store. They did reasonable discount on cash payment I sent money from far away LA than they marked it as sold and about three weeks later my brother in law pick it up from the store. It was exactly what it is as I saw in their online store. My suggestion is just follow up their gear list in their online store and hit the bullseye. Reliable store and owners..
I just Purchased an Eastman SB59 in Sun Burst….Ted and Helene could not have been more helpful in making it happen ….3 days from point of purchase and it was at my door….Free delivery and a price I couldn’t pass up…For the money it surpasses Gibson in terms of Quality and sound…Ted is a walking wealth of Guitar knowledge and is so easy to talk to and make a buy….I could not say enough about the service and reasonable pricing on the guitar in question…Eastman SB59, a fantastic guitar… Thanks Ted and Helene!
If you’re serious about your guitars, this is the place to go. Ted and the staff are SUPER knowledgeable, and their selection is amazing! Unlike the chain stores (you know who I’m talking about), these guys actually know what they’re talking about and give you one-on-one attention. You really can’t go wrong here.
HORRIBLE. You would think during these times, if they are really interested in doing business, they would take care of inquiries. Yet, after contacting them via Reverb, email and phone, I just got the not-so-friendly runaround and no response. And gee, all I wanted to do was find out if they had a guitar in stock, if perhaps I could see it during their so called, “showroom hours,” and then buy. Wanted to buy locally but ended up ordering online from an out-of-state retailer. The guitar brand I bought from should be concerned a place like this doesn’t give a damn if they get customers or not.
Nice store. Kind people. But, I came in and walked out with a guitar without anyone telling me that I wouldn’t be able to return it – made me a one time customer for sure. Good luck.
11. Taco Bell
Address: 21959 CA-46, Lost Hills, CA 93249 , Lost Hills , California , United States
This taco bell is the damn nicest taco bell I have EVER been to. If it weren’t for this here taco bell I would be not eating this taco bell. God bless you taco bell. God bless the United States of America
Buen servicio, espacio muy agradable. La comida tiene muy buen sabor y es una excelente opción si quieres comer rico y barato.
Conveniently located for drivers passing through the area. It does tend to get quite busy but you can always rely on it providing decent taco bell food.
Kinda dirty inside. Bathroom was gross.
Its okay
Overall we liked the taste of vegetarian options here at Taco bell. It’s our first dine out at Taco bell and turn out good. Nothing fancy here but service was good and they were very fast in preparing the order. Price is also reasonable here. It’s good place to eat if you are in hurry.
Horrible service. Drink machine not working.
The place was open, but “closed” early stating they ran out of food. It was unclear to us why they would run out of food 2 hours before they were closed, and why they would keep the open sign on.
Late night food stops along a highway should be more mindful when possible.
Employees talking to family members or friends like its their home. Unprofessional and no masked! A little dirty.
