Awesome people, great selection. Horns, strings, drums, sheet music, pro audio, DJ, guitar, bass, they have it all.
Zack, was fantastic to work with. Everyone is friendly and willing to make each customer happy.
It was ok
Service is not the best
Nice and very friendly attention.
Today I went to this location to search for some PA speakers for an event I am helping out with. After walking around in the live sound area for a while, I set my eyes on what I THOUGHT was going to be a perfect match for my needs and budget. It was a pair of USED Sound Tech dual 15 tops with horns. One was leaning precariously due to having two of the rubber feet missing, and both showed obvious signs of storage (spiderwebs, etc). I found someone to help me, a young lady who was really into the role of “salesperson”. I asked what the price on these were, and was told they were $100 each. I told her I’d like to hear them, and if the sound was righteous, they were sold. She spent several minutes playing with various cables trying to get signal to them before bringing another employee over to help. He got them up and jamming within a couple minutes. This is great, right? There was a dual 18″ sub that was with them when they purchased them, and I asked about pricing on it as well. After another several minutes of searching for a price, ANOTHER person, this time a manager, came over. The sub was $399, which was more than I was willing to throw down, but then it got worse – the $100 speakers I had already agreed to purchase were now $299 each. They ran me around in circles over the reasons they couldn’t honor the price THEIR EMPLOYEE quoted me, eventually working down to $249 each. Another manager played the “mistakes happen” card as well, leaving me with a seriously sour taste in my mouth, and no desire to EVER give them another penny. Buyer Beware – their staff apparently isn’t trained in properly looking up pricing, and their management will not honor prices quoted to customers BY THEIR OWN STAFF!
Looks like they have a wide variety of equipment. Spent about 10 minutes walking around, I must have been invisible. Then left.
I was offered 200 USD for a never used mint TLM-103. Went to Guitar Center down the street and quadrupled what the manager at Sam Ash offered.
3. Musician’s Warehouse
Address: 245 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601 , Mos , Georgia , United States
Musician’s Warehouse has been one of my go-to stores for over 20 years, across multiple locations. Great selection, competitive pricing, and amazing service. Ed cares about his customers and the community – he wants to get you the best deal on what you’re looking for, even if sometimes it means recommending another store/seller if he can’t get you what you need. He’s knowledgeable and honest, and I always feel like I can rely on him for the straight story. I was recently looking for a hollowbody electric and Ed was excellent in helping me find the right guitar and giving me a great price on it. I highly recommend Musician’s Warehouse, whether you live in/near Athens or if you visit their Reverb store.
Local musicians helping other working musicians in Athens. The owner has a heart of gold and a great drummer with years of experience & knowledge!
Brought in my les Paul that had the same set of strings for about 6 months in need of a new set. The gentleman at the counter was welcoming and helpful. He restrung my guitar in about 10 mins while I looked around the store. Not only did he restring the guitar, he also polished the entire guitar and noticed that I was missing a toggle switch cover. He put on a new one at no extra charge.. but what stands out the most is he realized I had the guitar tuned down a half step, so when he put on the new strings, HE RETUNED IT BACK TO THE SAME TUNING I ORIGINALLY HAD SO I WOULDNT HAVE TO!! Phenomenal attention to detail! These people know what they are doing and I will be returning.DO NOT GO TO GUITAR CENTER!!!!
Check out the new location!
Pretty good shop if you are in Athens. Much better selection of gear than their competitors in the area.
Professional assistance provided.
Dude I’m not sure what happened. The first floor is desolate (empty for everybody that’s currently reading this while dunk). I understand social distancing, but I’m I am attending Warehouse, I do not care about the current situation, I’m here to rave. Open the first floor for a mosh pit.
Really wanted to like this company. I was cheated and conned, and after a week with zero communication I contacted them. They fumbled around for another day or two then stated they couldn’t find the item. I was left empty handed and confused. No attempt at finding the item or ordering another. Nothing. Zip. C’mon guys!
Poor selection. If you like grandpa guitars this is the place. Wouldnt recomend to any modern guitar players.
4. Jackson’s Music Store Inc
Address: 5485 Westmoreland Plaza, Douglasville, GA 30134 , Mos , Georgia , United States
I have been buying my instruments from Jacksons music for over 15 years and I have always had an awesome experience!
These guys are awesome, if they don’t have it talk to John he can most likely get what you need , they are also honest individuals never taking advantage of someone who has little if any knowledge about musical instruments and supplies their prices are about the best around !
Absolutely have just what I’m looking for. Thanks again guys
Great bunch of talented musicians
Nice store. Friendly folks!
Great customer service at this place.
Went in to look for an acoustic guitar, amp and some cables. Employee with beard and glasses kept following me around but wasn’t saying anything. It felt weird so I left.
I’ve went to Jackson’s music a few times in the past couple of years. I have purchased a drum set from them and its my number one kit still to this day. For the most part friendliness is in the atmosphere when the older guys are working, the younger guy on the other hand is lazy and careless and doesn’t see the need to know about drum accessories even being the store salesman that he is.. I guess he’s a guitar guy or something. I feel as if anyone that was clueless about music or music instruments could do a better job than that guy. The guy acted as if he didn’t know what I was talking about and was trying to pretty much get me off the phone until I pushed the issue. Then he was like, “oh I know what you’re talking about.” This was after I walked him through what I was in need of twice! Anyways the guy clearly knew what I was talking about and was more than likely anxious to get off on time instead of making one more sale for the day. He even told me that someone else called this past week about the same thing. In store experience is definitely the route to go. If you call you’ll more than likely get the careless and clueless young guy on the phone that doesn’t even deserve his job. I don’t know if it’s because he didn’t get the training he needed or if he likes to milk the system but whatever the case may be he obviously can’t help you because he can’t even help himself or the store by doing a good job.
Avoid like the plague. Absolutely rubbish. I will never set foot in this garbage store again. Rented an audio system that was buzzing. And changed me extra for an extension cable that there was no proof that it existed.
5. SMC Music
Address: 28 Central Plz, Rome, GA 30165 , Mos , Georgia , United States
Wyatt was a helpful and patient young man great to do business with great customer service! Your a good man Wyatt.
That Weston guy is amazing!!
Love this store. The staff is friendly and always knowledgeable and ready to help with anything I need.
Up to date on all of their equipment salespeople knowledgeable no wasted time
I didnt want to be too harsh…the place has a small selection at high prices, but does price match. The guy working there was nice. They can order things for you.
Polite staff, well located and reasonable prices.
(0) Customer Service
(0) Greeting
(0) Evaluation of my need
Clerk was on the Web, Netflix, etc. with girlfriend beside him
I came in to make a Christmas purchase for my wife.
Moving on…next store and spend my Cash!
This place is awful, The Workers was very Rude, and they and was very much a fraud. They tell one thing on the phone once you come in a They Run your credit the price jump up 1000.00. Be aware they Rent instruments that have been used 3 or more times for the price of a Brand new one.
6. Town Center Music
Address: 4072 Suwanee Dam Rd NW, Suwanee, GA 30024 , Mos , Georgia , United States
Very nice store. Good folks that will help you find your music needs.
Julian was very helpful. My son was in heaven hanging out for a few and trying out a new bass and some pedals. Will definitely be going back in the future!
I couldn’t be happier with my guitar set ups! There is quality in their work. Their pedal and guitar selection is incredible and their staff is super knowledgeable and helpful! Aaron, the owner, is very kind and helpful. Great store for beginners AND expert level. This area is better because they’re here!
Taught my kids to play guitar
Much better store I not been here in a while the past manager was not a music guy or a manger known as a air head I will be back
Good
Store is dirty poor selection not real big
AVOID AVIOD
High prices not helpful run by a guy who looks 40 and still in a garage band no music
background not open late any place better then here. Manger is clueless.
Took down my review. Owner ultimately seemed to care about his customers. Too bad everything is so politically incorrect. Anyone still remember Archie Bunker?
But to clarify what idiot would try to exchange something opened, like a reed.
Amazon prime still winnnning.
7. Atlanta Discount Music
Address: 3514 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341 , Mos , Georgia , United States
Awesome folks. I miss these guys, since I left town.
Best guitar repair in town
Best selection of gear in the Atlanta area.
Always has good stuff.
Great selection of guitars and amps, great staff
A true hometown music store. Great place for new or used guitars plus repairs
It’s a neat store. It’s a small local place with a somewhat limited selection. I didn’t think the prices were all that great based on their new guitars and the staff didn’t find me interesting enough to ask me if I needed anything even though this one guy saw me coming in. Oh, well.
They weren’t very friendly or helpful with what I was looking for. Their prices are actually higher than most other places I’ve been in. My advice would be to shop for your musical items somewhere else.
Bought a mic cord there a few months back , tried to return it but they said it wasn’t theirs, no receipt,
I know it came from Atlanta Discount, the guy acted like I was some kind of criminal,
I’m 59 years old, been playing for 50 years, don’t need the disrespect man, no wonder Guitar Center is kicking their ass
8. Vintage Musical Instruments
Address: 42 Public Square S, Dahlonega, GA 30533 , Mos , Georgia , United States
Excellent shop, a lot of soul and rare items! Hope to return soon!
A small upstairs shop that has a great vibe going on. They are also very friendly and helpful.
I was disappointed with the repair work done on my guitar. It wasn’t a horrible job but it wasn’t a good job either.
The luthier wasn’t able to polish the frets because they didn’t have any high grit sandpaper so, I had to “polish” the frets with my strings from play wear and now my frets are “polished” very unevenly.
He seemed to do an okay job with the fret leveling and crowning but there are still some noticeable corners on about half of the fret edges and especially on the higher frets where people usually don’t play. (You can tell how he had it laid on the table because one side is relatively smooth and the other looks like it barely got any attention along with the nut which is just as sharp as before)
He also got multiple dings and scratches on my guitar neck. Which I personally don’t mind on the specific guitar I sent in, but I would be quite irritated if it happened to a higher end guitar. (It’s named ‘Rawhide’ which explains the guitar well)
So, pretty much I paid for an incomplete job where if I had the proper tools I could have done it myself and probably much better.
I’m not trying to start anything and I don’t want to get the Luthier in trouble, I just want to see quality work from the Luthier so *if* I ever bring in a higher end guitar I won’t have to sleep in fear worrying about possible damage.
My recommendation for the Luthier is if someone pays you to level, crown and polish frets, make sure you have ALL of the necessary tools and really take the time to do a good job on ALL of the frets. Also make sure to keep the guitar safe in the process.
If I had known what to expect for what I paid for, I would have pressed the Luthier to finish the job, but at the time I didn’t know what high quality frets were like.
Lastly, on an unrelated topic that really goes to personal preference, they require masks to enter the store, no exceptions. I don’t support being muzzled for a virus with a 99%+ survival rate and even 95%+ if you’re over the age of 70, where it’s so “deadly” you require a medical test just to see if you have it, and asymptomatic spread has been proven to be extremely rare, if not just another myth to keep us living in fear.
But to each their own.
Went to store this morning at ten after 11 and no one was there.
I’m very disappointed in this “business” we had taken a family heirloom to him to be repaired, he said it would take two weeks. Hey, great you got a deal. Let’s go ahead and pay for it so you will have the money on hand to pay for the parts and your time. Three weeks later we have to call and the guitar still isn’t finished. Four weeks later we call once again it’s still not done. I go to the “business” to see if it’s even been touched, and low and behold it had not. He had already told us that sales from other people come first with it being around the holidays. Wait wait so a sale that was already made gets placed last?! That was my daughter’s Christmas present as well to hear the guitar play once again that her papa had gave to her 10 years ago, then he pasted away. I will never trust this place again repairs or to buy from!
9. Music Masters
Address: 1806 Russell Pkwy Ste 700, Warner Robins, GA 31088 , Mos , Georgia , United States
I first met Music Master’s owner and crew in 2008. Took two years of lessons. Very knowledgable musician and instructor. Good prices on their instruments and equipment. Clean store with helpful staff. Good selection of guitars. I would rather support a local family rather than an out of town music warehouse online.
Great service and selection. I have dealt with them for a few years and they have never disappointed. I brought my tube amp here to be fixed, and now it runs like a charm. Foster, the owner, is a very fun and knowledgeable guy.
Music Masters is our go to place in Warner Robins for all our music needs. From cable ends, to boutique guitars and anything in between. Nice, experienced people who give lessons. Shop local and support our small businesses!
Went in to get some supplies for taking care of a trumpet. They didnt have a huge variety but they did gave neat grab and go packs. They did, however, have a huge selection of guitars, ukuleles and other strings as well as a few brass and woodwinds.
Great deals, great service. It’s always nice to have a local, hometown music store for that personal touch. Lessons are also available. Wish there was a bigger selection there, though–go buy some stuff there so they can afford more space! 🙂
Nice music shop. We are pleased with a kid friendly guitar lessons taught by Mr. Mike.
Update:Feb 2022. Still attending lessons and my child has taken a liking to guitar. His finger placement has gotten better and knowing the proper strings for several chords.
Very rude customer service and nasty attitudes! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to shop here!!!!
Courteous & friendly but I wouldn’t take an amp there for repair. I was told that I’d get a call with the diagnosis. 2 weeks later I called only to be told they haven’t been able to find anyone willing to work on it. It clearly states on their website that they repair both tube & solid state amplifiers? I’m a little preplexed..
Too expensive
10. Music Authority Inc
Address: 123 Merchants Square, Cumming, GA 30040 , Mos , Georgia , United States
My daughter started guitar and voice lessons last year and we absolutely love Music Authority. Her guitar teacher, Savannah, is amazing. She’s teaching her proper technique and is building her skills while still working on the songs our daughter wants to learn how to play. So she loves it! She is even joining their rock ensemble program thanks to Savannah. Love this place!
My daughter has been taking lessons at Music Authority for almost a year now and we love it here. They sell everything a musician would need to pursue their interest but the real appeal is environment they offer their students. From the instructors to the owners they foster a community of like minded people that thrive on music. My daughter had been playing the bass for close to a year and only knew how to read tabs when we 1st started lessons at Music Authority. With in a month she could read sheet music and was learning to play by ear.
At Music Authority the 1st priority is their students and they offer many opportunities that go beyond lessons. The themed concerts offered twice a year are a great way to get to know fellow students and show off what you learn. Student bands are formed and each student needs to learn their part and how to work with other members of the band to be able to perform at the concert. Rock camps allow the students to learn about being a musician beyond playing instruments and gives them a fun filled week with others who love music. For students who want to take things to the next level, there are 2 showcase bands and 2 rock ensembles. In addition there are groups and ensembles for every music genre. There is always something going on at Music Authority! The Backroom is the latest student investment that the owners have created giving everyone a concert room for student lead Jam nights, Open Mic nights, instructor lead recitals and more.
Your level of involvement is completely up to you! From personal experience there is no pressure to do more then you want and the owners go above and beyond to make it the best experience possible for each student. When we needed to change instruments for a period of time they worked with us making it easy to transition to our new needs.
My daughter has grown both musically and personally from her time at Music Authority. As a parent I love the code of conduct they enforce with both the students and parents so the environment is one of encouragement and positivity.
We are very happy to be a part of The Music Authority Family!
Andrew has been my bass and guitar instructor for almost one year and a half. One of the many reasons I give Andrew a perfect 5 stars is his ability to teach. His teaching methodology has helped me to become a better guitarist and bassist. He will quickly pick up on the skills you will need to become the musician you want to be. He is very knowledgeable about music theory which has helped me in acquiring more skills. I recommend Andrew as your instructor, he is amazing.
Mr.Mark is my son’s Piano teacher and my son enjoys his piano lessons.
I was referred to Music Authority after moving to the area and wanting to continue with my music lessons. I was a little skeptical when I arrived as I’m used to larger big box music stores like Sam Ash and Guitar Center. 2 years later I’m still a happy customer. They have great instructors all with degrees in music and actively play in places of worship and/or gig professionally which was important to me. The staff is courteous and helpful and keeps me informed on what’s happening. They do have a retail merchandise space in the front of the store that offers what I’d call a light to medium selection of quality guitars, amps, drums and equipment/accessories (NOTE: no DJ/lighting equipment, keyboards, recording or HS band equipment here). It’s very convenient after a lesson to shop and pick up those must haves. I’ve bought many things including a guitar that I’m very happy with. They’re knowledgeable, stand by their merchandise and even offer special incentives that the larger stores don’t. They have a repair and service shop that I’ve yet to use but would if needed. Don’t let me forget all the things this place does for young musicians like summer rock camps, concerts, jam nights, open mic nights and more. I wish I had access to a music organization like this one when I was a kid… I’d be a better musician today if I did. Yes, I recommend this place.
My 10 yr old daughter and I take piano lessons at Music Authority. Our instructor, Brooke, along with a lot of practice, has taken us from zero musical experience to reading and playing the piano in a few short months.
We enjoy the lessons each week and we learn something at each one. Our instructor is a gifted teacher. She changes up the lesson plans so throughout our lsns, and at home practice, we learn music theory, practice skills exercises, and learn songs. It pushes us to go further but doesn’t overwhelm.
If your looking to learn an instrument or two, this is a good place to start. Music camps and performances are offered as well. You can get as involved as you want.
I bought a Taylor from Music Authority last year and was told I would enjoy life string replacement and neck adjustments (in return for my business). I called today to inquire when the service would be next offered, it was co-sponsored by Taylor Guitars, and was told “sorry, that’s been discontinued”. Discontinued!! I received 1 set of strings, that does not sound like a lifetime benefit to me?! Then I was told that if I had a 3 series or above they would change the strings if I bought them, while not perfect, I would have considered it an acceptable compromise. Unfortunately, they won’t even do this for the el cheapo $500 Taylor. Advice to the owner: Don’t promise something if you aren’t willing to keep your promise!!! I have aspirations of owning custom shop Taylor but I will NOT be ordering it from Music Authority.
Good teachers! But watch out for their rules and policies. If your child can not make it to the lesson and you giving them 24 hour notice as required you still will be paying for that lesson. Spot holding policy here comes in like in daycare if your child is sick you still paying for the spot. Teacher cancels the lesson but you still will be responsible to pay for it. With no way to make up the lessons with the same teacher. I’m not sure why they need 24 hour notice than. Its not customer accommodating policies. There is other options out there that are more reasonable and accommodating to a realistic life

We’ve been coming here for months for lessons and I can’t say enough about Mr. Keltner and Ms. Kelly. They are phenomenal. Such a great staff. Dallas is a great instructor. Overall a Great location highly recommended and we appreciate all their hard work.
Always pleasant staff working. Never a bad visit. They go above and beyond to help customers. I was able to order stick from another location thanks to Kelly!
Great place for new kids starting out eith their first instrument.
It had what I needed, so that was good. However, the staff seemed like they would’ve loved to be anywhere but at work.
12. Music & Arts
Address: 875 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd #570, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 , Mos , Georgia , United States
My second visit to this place and the customer service is top notch . I certainly plan on returning here for my musical needs. Kudos to Greg for the advice he gave me regarding the online music writing app.
The store manager here has restored my faith in people. The customer service for this company over the phone, wherever it is handled, is not handled by people like Whitney the store manager here in Lawrenceville. This woman deserves to be paid way more than she is given no matter what that is! She cares about her job and her customers and it shows through and through. I just can’t say thank you enough for how much better she made my day. 10 out of 10 would go here simply for the manager ALONE!
The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. When I ask question they always give good informative answers. Going here is always a pleasure, and I would love to continue going here. Customer service is top notch and Whitney is awesome.
A normally great place, I bought my first bass guitar here years ago and haven’t had a single issue with it. I recently payed and scheduled for a month of vocal lessons. I got my 15 minute trial with the teacher and everything went wonderfully, I loved the teacher. They scheduled someone else in my extract same time, I am unable to come in for any other time and I have yet to even get one full lesson in. This is the first time I have ever been this unsatisfied with this place. I’m highly disappointed and don’t know if I’ll be coming back to this location again.
Nice place to find learning materials and instruments
Had a rental from them for almost a year. Was a rocky start to be honest as the kids waited several weeks for their instruments and they were never serviced at the school as mentioned in the rental agreement. Assuming they are just short staffed like everyone else.
Went into the location to go ahead and purchase the rental we had and they were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend as long as it isn’t an urgent need
This place is a sham. They partner with the schools to force you into paying outrageous prices for instruments and accessories that your kid will never use. They charged for 2 day shipping and weeks later I still don’t have my kids stuff. They do not communicate any backorders and fail to keep promises. I assume the school insist on this company because they give kickbacks or something. Overall just a shady business.
Definitely a sham. I personally never signed ANY form of contract with this company but am being told that my debit card info can not be removed from an account and that they have the right to process it as they see fit. I escalated the case to a so-called manager(Melanie) who haphazardly calls back days later and never looked into the data of the account. Once I begin explaining to her that I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING she rudely cut me off to reiterate their policy. There is no legal policy that authorizes a company to process transactions without the cardholder’s consent, period.
When my mom rented me a instrument (Clarinet) it was covered with scratches and corks under keys were falling off when my cousin rented a violin the case was just full of scratches so she had to get a new one
13. Earthshaking Music
Address: 648 McDonough Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315 , Mos , Georgia , United States
Best music store in Atlanta area. Local, cool, great selection. Repair work on Amps and Instruments is amazing and well priced.
Went here looking for my first electric guitar and still a little self conscious about my skill level. They were so helpful and nice. They hooked me up to an amp and just closed the door to the guitar room, letting me play whatever struck my eye. A year and at least 5 visits later, there is no question, THIS is the best music shop in Atlanta.
5 STAR customer service. I walked in then asked if they bought used electronics, and whether or not they had any suggestions on microphones. They helped me, rather than tried to hustle me. I appreciate that. I can’t wait to go back and find out the rate they’d pay me for my old MPK kit. Looking forward to it. Andrew was cool, but Charlie was funnier. Maybe to funny for my mom, but not me.
Solid.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great instrument options for guitars and percussion. The location is not the best part of town; otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.
I called on a Saturday to see if a kick drum could be repaired. The gentleman I was speaking with informed the drum specialist won’t be in until Tuesday to take a look at it. Perfectly understandable. I asked how long could the repair could possibly take, which seemed like a reasonable question, but the guy I was speaking with had an entire meltdown! Started talking aggressively and rudely. I told him to relax because it was a simple question. I won’t ever do business with this company. If this is how you react to and treat people for asking simple questions, I can’t imagine the level of service would be any better.
Selling used harmonicas at brand new prices. No boxes, sales staff insist the cases Are the boxes and are all brand new. None sealed.
Opened 2 and saw scratches on the plates.
We were looking for a pre-owned Taylor or Martin acoustic guitar. We’re from out of town and had somewhere to be so we only had about 25 minutes to look around. At first everyone was nice while we looked around, both of our kids are involved heavily in music so they spent their time there trying out instruments to which the gentleman attending (I could assume owner) was kind and attentive. Until we turned down sale of a keyboard, at which point he decided to approach my autistic son while on a small drum kit and scream at him for being too big for it. I’m no fan of leaving places in handcuffs, so I didn’t cave in his face, I decided a well deserved poor review and exposure to the public what a peice of trash he is would suffice. Trying Dirt Cheap Music nearby instead.
*update following response from the owner
It is fair to say that your employee had a right to address the issue, but screaming and belittling an autistic child isn’t the way to go about it. Furthermore, my initial feelings of rage as a protective father are quite normal and my decision to take a more appropriate route is not something I am ashamed of in the slightest. Neither of them damaged anything and nothing was kicked or struck with any kind of force by either child. You responded defensively and completely missed the point. To scream at the child in an aggressive manner, autistic or not is unacceptable and the employee could have delivered the exact same message in a better tone and achieved far better results. I honestly can’t imagine any scenario that aggressively yelling at a person in your store achieves any positive results.
14. Music & Arts
Address: 5236 Stone Mountain Hwy, Stone Mountain, GA 30087 , Mos , Georgia , United States
What I like the most about this place is that the staff really get to know what your into and give them good recommendations and even pointed cheaper stuff because of your budget I highly recommend this place whether you’re an experienced or a beginner musician
Staff is knowledgable on what they sell and patient with customers who take their time to select an instrument.
Closes too early. Should close at 8PM.
Large, eclectic collection of music products. Lots of sheet music
I like this place.
I bought a ukulele from them paid way to much for it.. my fault that I did not have my phone to compare prices.. when i went home he forgot to give me the case and tuner..so make sure he gives you everything.. it pays to buy on line way cheaper!
This store is really terrible!!! The owners are obnoxious and unprofessional. I would like to tell anyone please do not come this store because they introduced and sold instruments with defects and forced you to use the manufacturer’s warranty because they put a big “No Refund” as their excuses. Please be careful to purchase anything in this store. I am sure that they will be out of business very soon…
I’ve visited Mo’s Music several times and every visit has consisted of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in any store anywhere. The employees were rude, unprofessional, and aggressive. I was yelled at to “put my phone away” when I was texting and was threatened to have to leave their store if my phone stayed out. A friend of mine went in Mo’s with me and a young male employee cornered her and asked to take a close up picture of her face, and throughout my whole visit they had employees following me to make sure their equipment was safe. Workers will come up and confront you to the point of almost verbal harassment and push you to buy their mediocre equipment that is more often than not in poor condition. I would not recommend this place at all, I regret the minimum amount of stars being 1 because they don’t even deserve that much
16. Randy Wood Guitars
Address: 1304 US-80, Bloomingdale, GA 31302 , Mos , Georgia , United States
Best guitar lessons with Ricky Standard!! My son has done amazing!!
Met Randy-greatest luthier ever!
I was so happy I went here! I was initially hesitant as I just had a cheap ukelele I needed a string for and thought they would laugh at me :). But they were FANTASTIC!! Made me feel at home, friendly, helpful, and down to earth. Extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to share their knowledge. I was in total awe. Old fashioned customer service that you just don’t find anymore. I will make up excuses just to go back. Highly recommend!!
Good selection and good customer service
Nice simple shop with pretty knowledgeable staff who were willing to discuss with the customer intricate details inorder to get the job done also a few beautiful vintage amps
A great experience and affordable too.
Had a Gibson SG refinished here and it was terrible. Very patchy and uneven coverage. Worst of all was the headstock. I am a little perplexed though, they have many great reviews and other great pictures. The folks there were nice, decent selection of guitars for sale, no other complaints. I’m not sure why my guitar came out so bad.
Terrible service and terrible work.
Would never recommend to anyone.
Stay away!
