Best guitar service in the area – second to none. If you’re having trouble with your instrument, take it to Paul. Need a setup? Same answer. I won’t go anywhere else.
Truly professional, great experience!..
Paul at Hanger 18 is excellent at his work. My Gibson Firebird had some fret buzzing issues and I brought it in and he fixed the issue and did a perfect setup on the guitar, exactly the way I wanted it. It plays better than ever and was extremely fair priced for the work. Would highly recommend
Really nice guys there, always a friendly smile.
Did some guitar repair work for me, turned out pretty good.
Friendly and Cheap on guitar set ups

Address: 8690 Richter School Rd, New Baden, IL 62265 , New Baden , Illinois , United States
Great experience! I had to leave my RV parked for several hours to deal with an emergency and Meghan was more than helpful, friendly and understanding of the situation.
Good gas prices and Wendy’s
It is big and clean but the only five star gas station is quik trip
Cashier was young guy. Very nice.
Great food, great employees!
Hate to even give this place one star Hardee’s is no good here
Terrible service. Stood in line for 10 min while the girl ignored me at 5:45 am 10/4. Finally asked for help to ring up 2 free refills as I am a diamond customer, she said oh I don’t work the desk, but did not offer to get anyone either. Had to go up front and stand in line. In my way out, advised her customers are what keeps her employed and she should make them more of a priority…she sarcastically said have a nice day! Do these employees even have a clue we aren’t paid by the hr????
Hardee’s is closed. No hot dogs or anything. Nothing in the middle coolers. This is unacceptable.
5. The Red Porch Cafe
Address: 301 E Hanover St, New Baden, IL 62265 , New Baden , Illinois , United States
Delicious food and drinks, and friendly service. We will definitely be back.
This is an exceptional addition to the New Baden Community. The food is delicious, fresh and the customer service is top-notch. The atmosphere is ideal to dine with friends, or socialize over a game while sipping a decadent specialty drink. The Red Porch Cafe has brought to New Baden the coolest hipster vibe.
Food its good but they are not flexible with food pick up if you arrive early.
Food and service are fantastic!
Great concept
I would suggest not going to this place because of poor customer service. My story is, I ordered a Cotten candy waffle cone ice cream and when they come out with it its broken and in a dish and the girl would not refund it u won’t believe how mad I am.
What a wonderful job Sylvia (Phillips) did during our sons service. She was so considerate to our requirements, we could not have asked for more….sounded amazing!!

Amazing Studio! We love to record here. Rick is very talented in his field.
Awesome !
I’ve worked with Rick, founder of Flatlander Sound Studios, for over 10 years. His establishment is state-of-the-art. He’s very professional and has a great since of musicianship, which makes for a great engineer! If you’re looking for quality recording with extremely reasonable prices, Flatlander Sound Studios is the place for you!!
Great family oriented music store with a warm personal touch that you just don’t get today from other music stores. Highly recommend for the beginner through professionals !!
Great staff amazing selection of equipment great prices
Awesome store– I have been buying stuff here for years. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great prices, and no BS. Lots of American made guitars and basses. Worth a visit, and there are good restaurants and bars in the vicinity
Fun shop for sure! Eye candy hanging on all the surrounding walls. The shop’s main focus is guitars so it’s definitely the place to go if that’s your go to instrument. Workers are knowledgeable and always very helpful. It’s no breaking news that guitar shops tend to give off awkward, intimidating vibes (understandably so when you visit any shop with high pricetagged merch) and I do have to try and hide my feelings of squirminess while there, but I enjoy going and will continue to.
Lots of inventory and they are willing to deal
I went in to get my guitar repaired, the staff members sat at the counter and talked and ignored me for several minutes. Then after they finally looked at my guitar it turned out to be a very expensive repair so I decided to just buy a new guitar. One would think this would be cue to start selling a guitar, instead they ignored me some more and made me feel awkward for playing any guitar they had. So I went to swing city music right down the road and they instantly came to help and found a guitar that was right for me.
After years of taking time off from playing music, band break up really made me step away, I’ve decided to look around for a new guitar and rig, have gone to Mojo’s, have purchase three terrific instruments from them in the past 15 years, never had a bad experience, today, however, was not the same. I walked into a store deflated of its prior pulse, I was seen and ignored, walked around looking for what would be my next stage guitar. Two employees, yet no time to greet, or attempt to make a sale, to show products, I even made an attempt by asking what’s new, even then not a singular spark of interest in my affairs with them was of significance. I walked out of there for the last time, sad to see such a place become so cold and uninviting.
