It was great talking about all the old school music.
Stopped in to check it out. Very knowledgeable & helpful owner, been there like 20+ years. Must be doing something right. Next time I need some guitar accessories I’m going back.
Good place for guitars
Ok shop but needed a mask just to enter, not doing much business, high prices
Quaint, privately owned store. Nice selection of preowned guitars. Prices comparable to typical Guitar Centers
That fruit loop would only let 2 people at a time in the store plus you have to wear a mask. And doesn’t let you play any of the guitars because “covid” will get on the strings. Don’t waste your time never go to this store.
How do you even sell anything with your hours?
I’m a little upset with this man’s integrity. I was requesting a pair of 12 -56 gauge acoustic strings. And I said my girlfriend would be by shortly to pick them up. I called his business before they were open and left a voice message. There was no miscommunication he does not carry 12-56 he carries 12-54. So when she showed up to get them and she asked if they were the right ones and he told her yes. She trusting that the order was correct left with the strings.
He didn’t say “by the way, we only carry 12-54” do you think he would need them still? No!!! He just took the sale. And she said he wasn’t very friendly or polite.
I used to come get my strings there as much as I could to support locals but that is an Integrity violation to me.
3. Total Entertainment Music Store
Address: 501 W International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
Great store with a wonderful selection of acoustic guitars. Awesome Taylor room with models that you won’t find elsewhere. Skip the trip to Guitar Center and check out this place first, you won’t be disappointed.
Every time i go i work with Dennis, excellent! He walks you through everything. And a very patient man. He’s why i shop there.
What a great music store!!!
I came in looking for new guitar strings, and installation.
I was directed to a technician who helped me immediately. I also asked for advice on making bar chords, and he had a few very useful tips for me to try. I mentioned that we were moving back to Ohio soon and there was no time to schedule lessons or I would have started soon.
A very nice gentleman assisted me in finding a sturdy guitar stand. He set me up with a triangular model that is sturdy and well balanced.
We also enjoyed looking at the Taylor guitar section. I have a Taylor, gs, mini which I love.
I wish that we had a “Total Entertainment “ shop in the Cleveland area. All of the staff that I encountered were professional, and friendly.
THANKYOU, Patricia Stoddard from Brunswick, Ohio
Total Entertainment has been here at this exact same spot for as long as I can remember. And I been local here since 1989They have everything you could need to start testing you’re musical talents or to start you’re own band.If they don’t have it if it’s actual thing, they can maybe order the item for you, they are great. Not to be a Debbie downer, but due to how this pandemic has been playing out,I just wish you guys would do a little bit more for you’re online shopping community.Things like info on deals&sales ,store cataloged in store items. Like the hardware, guitar pickups ,mics ,strings, skins for the drum set incase you break one. It would a lot quicker just to come down and shop in store than online, but sometimes you might not be able to make that trip, but to just pull out the ol phone and order them strings before I forget. I mean there’s shipping cost, that’s the price one must pay for not choosing to shop in store.
Not bad
Great prices and good inventory considering the Pandemic.
After being hung up on, I called back to continue asking questions about a certain product. Employee was short and unhelpful
The employees of this store knowingly tried to sell my wife (a beginner musician) a broken guitar. When confronted about it, they admitted they knew it was broken, and that they hid that fact from us, the potential customers, but we should have “done our research” before attempdint to buy a guitar.
I’m a little conflicted on how to rate these guys. The plusses are that the sales associate I worked with was very helpful, friendly and well-versed, and the guitar I bought was excellent.
The downside is that I cannot help but feel that this store acted inappropriately. I was in Daytona for vacation, and bought a $300 Yamaha git at the store to play while on vacation, with the agreement that they would do free shipping back home after I played it for a few days on vacation (the website says all shipping is free to the lower 48 states). Win/win, right?
When I took it back to the store 4 days later (as planned), the manager told me that I was going to have to pay approximately $40 in shipping (since they erroneously charged me sales tax). When I told her about our agreement, she said she would honor it, but would take it out of the sales guy’s paycheck. Of course, I said that was inappropriate, and paid the shipping. But that’s a terrible way to do business. I felt she acted dishonestly. And what is a bit ironic is that I fell in love with a $600 Yamaha transacoustic (great git, btw!), and was going to buy it on the spot and have it shipped home. Given the margins on a guitar like that, her being greedy to not pay shipping (when the website SAYS free shipping) cost her store at least a coupe hundred $$$. The sales guy did right, and worked a good deal for everyone, that she then screwed up.
In short, the manager of the store demonstrated to me that I could not trust her, and by extension the store, so I will simply spend my music instrument dollars (several thousand) elsewhere. That poor customer service cost her $600 today, so I hope the extra $40 for shipping was worth it.
UPDATE 2020: Heading to Daytona for vacation again later this summer. Going to buy another guitar for vacation, almost certainly a 1xx or 2xx series Taylor. Going to buy it from Guitar Center, instead of this place. Had you just honored your word and done the right thing (i.e what you PROMISED to do) I would have bought this $1000+ git in your store. But being unethical has it’s costs; if I can’t trust you to stand behind your word, I won’t ever give you another penny. Still glad you stuck me with the shipping bill?
4. Oak Hill Flea Market
Address: 357 US-1, Oak Hill, FL 32759 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
It’s a flea market. Vendors are very friendly but it would be nice if the undercover area had a concrete floor. A little tough for elderly people.
Sunday is the only day 2 go. Friday and Saturday r no good. Sunday is very good. They r gone by 2 p m.
An okay flea market, its best to go on a Saturday .
No actually I didn’t hate it I’ve never been to the Oak Hill flea market I’ve been to the restaurant there called Camelot
When we went really not much worth the time. Mostly junk that was over priced…plus everyone started packing up at 11a. Go on Wed to Volusia Fair grounds instead.

5. Atlantic Sounds
Address: 138 W International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
Im 40 and ive been shopping here my whole life it seems and for good reason
They are amazing in every way they can be
Perhaps the best record store I’ve been to. Huge selection of new and used vinyl. You can find all of your favorite bands. Most prices were reasonable, and there was a great bargain bin selection as well. The gentlemen working there were enthusiastic and helpful.
Love you guys and what you do.
Got good purchases here. I made future plans to return for others. Other than the blaring hard rock music noise, it’s a very fine shop to come to again and again. I’m glad the staff was open-minded and patient and flexible with me.
Very big selection of classic rock
Great selection and atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Rude owner and rude workers. Over priced.
dont buy any used electronics from them bought a reciever worked for aout a week, then died, turntable lasted about a month then same, dead, now of course they do not offer any warranty so you are taking them on good faith that what they are selling but really, about 200 bucks flushed down the toilet and buy the way you better check the mandate from the Govenor the next time you refuse entrance over ”mask” issues you are now in direct violation of that mandate class actions suits are very effective
I love this place.
6. Gold Tone Music Group
Address: 3656 S Hopkins Ave, Titusville, FL 32780 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
Excellent quality instruments at an affordable price. Their new Mastertone banjos are excellent.
This place was so amazing!! I am a young, but advanced player, and the workers let me try dozens of guitars without a problem… it was an amazing experience!!! They had a large selection, and lots of very helpful people, and people that were very willing to try to get me the perfect guitar!! They have lots of other instruments, and I would absolutely advise ANYONE to make the drive here to purchase or fix and instrument!!
Needed a zero glide for my Martin guitar. When I called I expected them to ask “Which one? 1 3/4 or 1 11/16?” Martin only makes two sizes.
But they hemmed and hawed…
Finally I drove to the place in Titusville. And they hemmed and hawed and couldn’t find one that matches my guitar.
Well, okay… I build mandolins and I’m not a stranger to nut files and sanding blocks. But when the young luthier wanted me to just take a blank and cut it from scratch I finally said hold it.
I took one that was close, modified it, installed it and have to say if you are not highly experienced doing guitar set up, don’t try it. You need all the tools you’d need if you were making a new nut from a piece of seasoned bone, as well as fret nippers, fret files, and sanding and polishing supplies.
That said, after installing it, my guitar sounded awful: dead, boring, lifeless. My wife was appalled. She wanted me to put the old nut back on. But the action was slightly better, I was tired, and I decided to do it the next day.
What a difference a night made! Don’t know why, strings settling in (whatever that means…) Who knows… But when I picked it up the next morning it was amazing. Balanced, smooth, solid intonation, loud, my wife thought I was playing my OM-42 instead of my 000-15.
It seems to improve each day a bit. Now I’m bummed, going to have to go back to Titusville and do it all over again with my D-42.
The one located near me is one of the hardest places for person in a wheelchair to get in and shop.
Warranty repair was incompetently performed or maybe poor on purpose because after they repaired my guitar, they put in a new saddle and it was for a LEFT handed guitar, not right like I have. The action was so high no one could play that guitar without cutting your fingers.
This guy is a scam… He sent me a new banjo with chrome chipped in 2 places and a bad fret. All the “we use professionals to set up every banjo” is a lie. Not one professional in the place.
He won’t honor the warranty.
Don’t buy a gold tone
Dropped off a Les Paul guitar to have pickups swapped and input jack changed. 10 days later the work had not even been started. Picked up the guitar and will do the work myself. I have a 50 guitar collection and @ $200 each to have work like this done they LOST $10,000.
Peter is the nicest guy you could want to work with. His prices are ridiculously low for the quality of the work . The set up he did on my tele was amazing. I will literally never let anyone else touch my guitars . I drove an hour and a half from Brevard county to take my guitar to him. Plus his pedals are absolutely amazing. Buy an Odie and Ponyboy!!!
I was searching online for a local Luthier and Chellee Guitars kept appearing, with great reviews, so I took my Strat there for a setup. The online appointment system was a breeze. Peter is a very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns and asked me the necessary questions to provide me with the best setup. The Strat plays much better. I’ll definitely be using him for my future business.
I’ve had my guitar set up twice in the past but there were always issues with it. Peter did a great job fixing the problems and it sounds and plays great.
8. Christian Enterprizes
Address: 121 Bryan Ave #1, Titusville, FL 32796 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
Always great experiences! Recently had a surgery and had to send my fiancé in on two different occasions to make purchases. She has no musical knowledge and very little idea what to get, the staff were perfect with helping assist her. Thank you!
Baught an American Strat at Island Music. The price was comparable to any where else and the people working there were helpful but not pushy.
Not Happy
Maskless! Even when I asked. Makes me question the sanitation of the shop. I feel I need to let my guitar sit for several days before I play it to let any potential coronavirus on the surface die.
Not at happy with the treatment and service on my new Guild acoustic. They didn’t adjust the action as asked. They installed the wrong gauge strings.
12/10/2020 Follow up: The store owner contacted me direct to listen to my concerns. I commend him that he did not try to say his employees were right and I was wrong. He genuinely wanted to listen to me.
The owner offered to adjust the action and replace the strings at no cost.
He additionally explained his COVID sanitation routine which sounded reasonable.
In summary, I think my encounter was a one off incident. I thank Sam for wanting to make is store a better place.
Great little place for musical equipment. Was greeted and helped very courteously.
Has quite a few instruments for the size. Has a recording studio for what that’s worth. I’ve heard some of the noise that come out of there??
Don’t expect any service though. I think the average age of the employees is about 17. And of course they are all Woke and don’t have a clue. Didn’t see any Quota Hires? So if your buying strings or picks you should be good. I really tried hard to buy a guitar there a couple years ago. Ended up ordering a Taylor from Taylor because they wouldn’t. To lazy I guess?
ENTER AT OWN RISK
Dropped off hubbys fender said would be done in few days…went back in one week nothing done didnt even order part…gave another week still nothing done no part even ordered. Just picked up guitar will go to sam ash. Lost a customer.
No part that I needed said they could get it it’ll take about two weeks I order to myself up on Amazon and already got it sorry sorry customer service
10. Wickham Road Music
Address: 4900 N Wickham Rd suite 106, Melbourne, FL 32940 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
I love Wickham Road Music. The service I received was so helpful in finding a new guitar for my child. Thank you Don for all of your help!!
This place was very helpful when I got my first electric guitar! They had a great selection of guitars and bass. I have been doing lessons here and I like my guitar teacher he’s cool he’s good at teaching and very helpful!!! Pete if u see this you rock!!!
Four stars because the owner rectified this issue and as far as i know, subsequent customers did not have this problem anymore. Props to you for actually caring!
One star because piano instructor Suzanne is knowledgeable and good instructor overall, so she gets the star. Issue is the owner seems to have an issue in his vocabulary or he is very dishonest. He recently started forcing students to pay a “deposit” equivalent to 2 classes. His excuse, “if you dont show up to class, we use the deposit to pay for the instructor’s time;” however, the classes are PRE-PAID which means, that the class is already paid for. When i argued this with him, he said, “well, we actually use that deposit for two extra classes when you choose to quit.” Well, i already chose to quit, so first of all, why would i want two more classes? an entire month is always PRE-PAID too, so no need for “deposit” since classes have been PAID IN ADVANCE. When i signed up, i told them, i was using 4 classes my mother gifted me. They made her leave a 2 class deposit; even though, again, she had PRE-PAID for the four classes. I told them i was only there for the 4 classes. So when i went to my last class, the owner said, “I dont give back deposits, worse case i could give you store credit.” Hmmm… DEPOSIT??? a deposit is something that is given back subject to terms. In apartment, if nothing is broken at end of lease, deposit is given back, in a car rental if the car is not damaged, etc. He is forcing people to prepay every month, AND prepay two classes that they have to take when they no longer want to take classes. Completely dishonest, misleading and rude.
Nice place. A lil on the pricey side. They have good, knowledgable sales people. My complaint deals with their service. Maybe it was just my luck, but I brought in an item to get serviced and was told I would get a call when it was done cuz it had to be sent out. I did not get a call. Later..2 days after I was told it would be done.. I went to pick it up. It was finished, but due to me being in a hurry, i didnt fully check out the item before I left the store. I got home and found some problems with what was supposed to be fixed. I was able to fix most of the issues myself.. I’d consider going elsewhere if you need something like a guitar setup done..
Has some good stuff, but not a great selection. Very cheap or very expensive not much middle
I went in to ask for a tremelo and the screw attached to it. Was quoted 200 dollars. I bought the whole set on Amazon for 14.50. I believe in supporting local businesses, but I’m not going to get robbed by them either. Also, I’m older, disabled and didn’t know much about guitars. They tried to take full advantage of that.. should be ashamed
Workers are nice, but owner has interesting policies. My wife and I had been customers for years, but we recently purchased a used tascam recorder for $250 from this place. Took it home, tested it out and found some internal issues. Brought it back only to find out, NO REFUNDS. Lesson learned: BUY ALL MUSIC EQUIPMENT ONLINE. Even eBay has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This local store should have stood by its product. Instead, they lost a customer for life.
Went in to spend $2000 on a guitar. They were blasting crappy music so loudly that I couldn’t hear myself. Also, there was a hippy sitting indian style in the floor eating–right in the way, completely oblivuous to the fact that she was blocking off the walkway in front of all the guitars. I turned around and left, and won’t be coming back.
11. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 4644 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
There very nice people and treats a costumers like a family. Very professional. I love this store and all the employees.
Excelent! We’ve bought an electronic drum, and have had an excelent experience, precise orientation, multiple option and great prices!
I had a great experience in there, they always have what I need and the staff is incredibly helpful. I’ll definitely continue going back to Sam Ash for all my equipment, why not? They price match!
Huge cool store but not a big instrument section and no oboe reeds.
I only buy strings there. Instruments are expensive and not much variarity
Very friendly staff. And very knowledgeable.
Where do I start. First of all they never have inventory. They always seem to be short on everything. The staff there are some of the least helpful people there. The only two good employees are the techs. The techs at samash are the only truly helpful individuals there I have nothing bad to say about them. But all the other employees need to get fired.
Store was pretty empty but the wait was extremely long and customer service left a lot to be desired. Not a good impression.
Have been coming for about 8 months for Guitar lessons for my kid. I’m amazed how 50% of the time it is a challenge to simply pay for a lesson with the folks working the counter. The instructor is great and I’m willing to look past the basic lack of knowledge at the register but today, as I’m paying for a lesson, the total due showed tax which I hadn’t payed before. I asked about it because it had never happened before and the guys response was “I’m not the person to ask because I don’t get paid much for my labor.” That’s probably true but if you don’t like your job, go find a new one and learn some customer service.
12. R & R Guitars
Address: 1881 W State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
It was a great experience from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out with my brand new Seagull guitar. Rob went out of his way to make sure I got the guitar that was right for me and was very patient with me as I tried several guitars back and forth. Very nice place, beautiful high quality guitars and excellent costumer service. Was definitely worth the long drive. Highly recommended!
This local guitar shop is awesome. They don’t just sell great guitars, but they also perform amazing service for guitars. I bought an acoustic guitar off Musicians Friend’s website and they sent me a guitar that didn’t have all the proper wiring for the input put together. I took it to R&R Guitars and within weeks my guitar had a better pickup in it than the stock original. It plays and sounds amazing. Best guitar shop in Central Florida!!
Positive Chaos first stop when buying a new guitar! Robbie is great.
Replaced strings of my daughter’s guitar. Did not tune at all. Poor communication. Was on the phone while checking me out and had difficulty asking / answering questions. Stated would clean up guitar that had been in storage but wasn’t touched. Took several days to replace strings. Would not go here again. Poor service
13. Guitar Shop

Really nice vinyl collection for sale here too, found a first pressing of dark side of the moon unexpectedly! Staff is genuine and chill, just guitar people through and through. I will definitely be coming back here!
Friendly staff.. very cute shop.
Small but very nice
Very nice people very helpful had just what I wanted.

Address: 4043 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
Love this store – The only place to purchase you musical equipment – Scott (the owner) is the best
I stopped in as I had some questions about lessons. The employees were friendly, helpful, and willing to assist me. The store was well maintained and seemed to have a decent inventory. I will definitely be returning.
Great place to shop
my store of choice for instruments and supplies, good deals on equipment
First time there just buying strings
For my guitar little on the pricey side
Employees were friendly and knowledgeable
Called about picking up some guitar strings said they had them. Told them im sending my dad right now he said great……Oh but they closed within 10 mins..Just more trash liars…FOff
16. Brand O’ Guitar Company
Address: 1920 Dolgner Pl, Sanford, FL 32771 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
I wish that I could give this company 100 stars. Lisa & Gino are the best of the best & they go above and beyond on every order. I have ordered over 20 branded guitars for various projects and every time I am thrilled with the customer service, design, and finished product. We have been giving these guitars to the founders of companies that we invest in, and the recipients absolutely love them. Can’t recommend enough!!!
Gino and Lisa are 2 of the nicest people you’ll do business with and their products are high quality!
We’ve requested several guitars from Brand O’ Guitar Company over the past few years. They’ve always been fantastic to work with. They provide excellent service and are very good communicators. Plus, their products are so fun! They’ve even gone above and beyond to help ship guitars across the country for our tradeshows, making sure they get there on time. Keep on ROCKIN’, Brand O’!
Got some guitar strings
17. Wholesale Music Instruments
Address: 3000 W New Haven Ave, West Melbourne, FL 32904 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
The gentleman that owns the store..has lot of knowledge..about quality guitars…he has great prices…can start you out with beginner models all the way to vintage quality instruments….
These guys really helped me out of a bind and where amazing to deal with. Their expertise help me out of a tight spot and their customer service is great! Absolutely the place you need to be if you need anything music related!
Wonderful products and services!!!! The best music store EVER. I actually found something I thought I could not find in Florida at all. GENE and his son are very gracious, accommodating and gave me an unbelievable deal. Thanks so much.
Knowledgeable
Gene and…Kevin? are cool guys. I get a bit of a push-to-sell vibe from Gene, but that’s no surprise. Got to make money to eat and grow the business. Wish they had a proper luthier in-store and maybe a sound test room, but lot of good selection for merchandise.
Live music? Wow
Came looking for a case for an odd-sized guitar, found a live sit-in jam session, how delightful.
Owners were friendly and knowledgeable. My case was out of stock, he was happy to order more in. All in all, a great little shop.
Owner is an idiot! Picked a fight with me in less than 5 seconds. Had to restrain myself from knocking out the little weasel. Do not support!
I went in today to purchase some bass strings. They only had one brand to select from called Hi-Beams. He also stated that “bass strings now are ranging anywhere from $40-$70”. This is absolutely absurd. I’ll go on Amazon and purchase Ernie Balls for $17.
I actually came back to this place to give them a second chance, and still had a terrible experience. Taking a look at the Google responses from the owner too, it looks like he can’t take criticism to improve his business. I’ll continue shopping at Wickham Road Music and on Amazon. Thanks anyways.
Prices are ridiculous.
$40 for a drum head that is less than $30.
Drumsticks were $20 when others sold them for $12.
18. Indian Mound Fish Camp
Address: 295 Indian Creek Rd, Oak Hill, FL 32759 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
Super friendly people, and the most active shrimp I have ever seen!
Beautiful place I have had a blast
Love this RV location, watching the dolphins, folks fishing. Very nice staff, always helpful.
Everyone is great helping each other to get ready before the hurricane comes in awesome people
Helpful, friendly staff at the bait shop. Nice pier to fish from, with benches, sinks and running water. Lots of pelicans and manatees.
Great campground. Just about every site has water access. All sites are back/pull in. No drive thru which is not a problem given the great views. They have a nice deck and fishing pier.
They don’t allow tent camping owners must be idiots
Made a RV reservation for a weekend fishing get-a-way, what a mistake. The place is run by heartless, low class people. They never pick-up office phone and when you call the second number on the list you get a load mouth drunk tell you to f-off. Kelly the manager won’t even call you back. We got ripped off $139.50… Stay A Way… Better Fish Camps Around… They laugh about my 83 year old mother having a heart attack. Shame On Them!!!
We have been coming here for years, NEVER AGAIN. It was $3 per party, now $5 per kayak! And the hours changed so we cant fish past 6pm or be here before sunrise. Then this lady comes running out screaming at us that we cant use the garden hose to wash our cooler, we would have to use well water. Lady i just paid you $15! I didnt even use 10 cents of your water! Youre crazy and rude! Never again, it doesnt make sense for locals to come here anymore.
19. Seminole Rest
Address: 207 River Rd, Oak Hill, FL 32759 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
Nice place, fun to walk around. It’s a shame they removed most of the mounds.
Cool place, but watch out for the HUGE spiders …..they are off the side of the trail….I thought they where hermit crabs…..nope, too far from the shore.
Short easy walk with a good history lesson. Nice areas to have your lunch or just to take a break. Worth a stop
Mosquitoes will carry you away!
20. Music & Arts
Address: 1673 WP Ball Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771 , Oak Hill , Florida , United States
GREAT experience ! My wife and I are visiting our son’s family in Sanford. Looking for guidance how to proceed with our left-handed, 14y.o. grandson’s initial interest in playing guitar, I called this Music & Arts location.
Shane was excellent+. He was well informed and patient as he guided me through options. He did not try to sell me on an expensive path. Rather, he clearly had my grandson’s interest at heart. We reached on very acceptable point to move ahead.
I highly recommend giving them a shot.
John
We love this place and their staff! Their passion for music is a beautiful thing to behold!
I placed my order via phone and Shane provided excellent customer service.
It was our first time going there. The guy working there was very helpful. The store has a good variety of gutars and other instruments. They also give lessons at the store.
They would not return some unopened items we purchased while trying out an instrument. I had to return for a manager and push to get some of the items returned. All I wanted was credit toward a different instrument and even that was a challenge. Make sure you want to keep what your buying.
I’ve purchased two guitars from here so far. They don’t have a huge selection, but the prices are reasonable.
The 2nd one I got from this store was on clearance and they even knocked some off that, giving me a better deal than I could have gotten online for the same guitar,
I ordered online for a Baritone rental in mid October while they were doing the Trial Period which was only going for $1 for 2 months. What was supposed to be a week wait turned into an entire month long wait! From October 17th order I put in, I did not get the Baritone until November 21st. I called roughly 2 weeks after I put the rental order in and one of the employees at this Sanford store told me he never got the order, but yet when he looked up my order number, it showed up for his store. He then preceded to make me feel like I was causing him trouble because I decided to put the order in online instead of ordering it from them directly. He also mentioned that he might of accidentally given it away to someone else. He then put the order in for the Baritone to ship to the store which yet again took another 2 weeks and allegedly he had been calling my cell phone after ordering it to be shipped to the store and leaving messages that it was ready for pick up, yet I never received any calls or messages on a phone I’m constantly on all day everyday. After I go to pick it up, he tries to sneakingly charge me for the current rental price which would of costed me $71 instead of the $12 I was quoted had I not stopped him. On top of that, he did a credit check on me which he found out later after calling corporate that he didn’t have to do that which ends up screwing my credit. The rental was supposed to be $12 for 2 months but he said I can’t do that because the trial period is over even though they’re the ones that screwed up with me coming in this late and are only honoring the $12 for 1 month. If all that wasn’t bad enough, I come home to find out he actually gave me a Euphonium instead of a Baritone that I ordered. Never have I had to deal with such absolute garbage service from any business. What was supposed to be a month and a half long practice for a Drum and Bugle Corp audition turned into only 1 week for preparation. Be Extra cautious when renting with these people. Had I not had previous rental experience as a worker in car rental, I would of been screwed out on a lot of money. Only reason I haven’t rated them a 1/5 is because they do more than just rental and I like coming to this store which is pretty close to me to purchase any parts needed for my instrument or books for Music Theory Classes and Studio Lessons.
The most horrible customer service. They stand behind the counter, don’t help anyone and act like you don’t exist. With small businesses struggling, you’d think they would know how to actually serve people. Will never shop there again. Not to mention, thier prices are outrageous compared to other music stores. Don’t waste your time.
Was a 5-star establishment previously. Unfortunately, with a new manager, Shane, loyal, long-time customers are no longer valued. Unfortunate.
