Great music store! Very professional, friendly and helpful. Nice selection of everything. Happy to be a new customer.
Friendly and knowledge staff
You find everything you need
Pois havia muita equipamentos p Rock e nao havia p Dee Jay mas meamo a sim comprei um otimo fone de ouvido era o que tinha p Dj mas uma bonita loja
Very helpful even know they didn’t have what I needed they directed me to the right place that did
Nasty service.
Called to ask a question, line rang then. Clicked called again was told we are closed and then abruptly hanged up on me. Never been but surely won’t ever go or recommend now.
This place is TERRIBLE. The worst service and ingenuine sales staff you can ever meet. They don’t treat you like a human. Seriously put them out of business. There is a reason why it is always empty.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where they will actually care about you.

Alan Gatchell did a fabulous job with making me a new bridge and sound post. His work enhanced the sound of my violin! It now sounds much clearer and brighter!
Great prices and very helpful and friendly.
My friend and I had no intention of buying any violin or cello, but we just wanted to see the beautiful curated collection of string instruments for sale. The associate or owner, not sure which, was still wonderful in still spending time to show us the violins and cellos. We could tell he had a lot of knowledge, enthusiasm and pride for the shop.
If you or someone you know is interested in buying a string instrument, go shop here. There’s even tiny violins for little kids. I could tell the customers around were happy to be at the store because the associates provide a family-oriented customer service. They really take time to get to know any customer that walks into the shop. They also support local businesses and artists via their bulletin board of advertisements by the front door.
I think the shop is also nicer and more personable than a major chain musical instrument store.
The store says a lot when the associates are genuinely kind even to other customers who are simply browsing like my friend and I.
Nice local shop. Staff were very helpful showed me several violas.
Very friendly and patient. They were very helpful.
Good Services
Store was 25 minutes late opening. Decide to wait around, when they finally arrived,15 minutes late, the lady at the register was rude.
Very expensive. Crazy
So im editing my review at first I gave a great review but after being cow on for the second time I have to change it. The first time i buy viola for my kid, I was offer a shoulder rest and a rosin on the house and part of the deal in buying a voila, I didnt ask for it was offered to me. I thought nothing of it.
In fact i though that was pretty nice of them until it was time to pay. They ring me up and tried to charge me for both items that they offered me as free and part of the package. I ask what was going on, and ther responded with “oh we can’t add these items” and proceeded to charge me for the items in which I had to stop them.
A couple of weeks later (today) I bought the shoulder rest and rosin, again offered 5$ off if I left a great review, I also asked if there was a military discount, first they didnt bother to find out if there was a military discount, they brushed that off and then didnt bother to give me the full 5$ discount as promised. I hate being lied to and i really like when people or businesses cant hold their agreements. So they get two stars. In my book! Friendliness means nothing if you cant kept to your words
8. Band Room
Address: 3233 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL 32806 , Orlando , Florida , United States
Really made it easy to finance. No credit check and decent monthly payments. So nice and open to any question or concern we had. I will return possibly for another instrument. Would recommend this place to everyone!!
Okay.
Dropped off a flute for repair and was given incorrect completion dates twice(9/13-24/18). I finally gave up and asked for a refund. Additionally, after taking the flute to another repair shop, I was informed that the repairs the band room intended to perform were “only a temporary fix”. I was able to purchase a flute of equal quality for ten dollars cheaper at Sam Ash. Shop around before setting on this place. The staff was friendly though.
This store is not trustable. We rented a violin for my daughter and they delivered a viola., until now, 4 days after they didn’t fix their mistake. And don’t sem to care about it. Last time!!!
Band Room did not send me the instrument we signed up for. They did not contact me to tell me that the instrument was being changed without my consent or knowledge.
9. Music & Arts
Address: 4676 Millenia Plaza Way, Orlando, FL 32839 , Orlando , Florida , United States
I was amused with the service I had today from the cute girl in glasses. I went in to get a set of Guitar Strings. Mine have been worn down and my e string finally broke. I switch alot from E standard and drop D. I comfortably use skinny top heavy bottoms, but this store didn’t have them. My brain had stopped and my glasses fogged, but shortly my dilemma was answered. I was recommended the Ernie ball slinky cobalt pack (10,13,17,26,36,46). I am curious how much life I can get out these Slinky Boi’s!!
Excellent customer service I give 5 stars to Mr Matt, Adam & Alayan for there great help also letting me try there Tenor saxophone, and very kind of guiding me which saxophone fits best! Even I travel all the way from Saint Cloud they are Very kind workers I suggest this store and employees to everyone who lives in Florida or visiting! PS: Mr John who fixes instruments at Music & Arts is also excellent fixing my soprano saxophone 2 years ago and worked very well! #Johnrhythm
Went to this store for the first time today and was helped by Trista. Their safety protocol during COVID-19 was diligent and thorough with masks and social distancing required and plenty of signage advising against touching merchandise. I felt very safe. I bought a short-scale Ibanez bass while I was there, and Trista offered to clean and restring the bass for free! She also went the extra mile to be friendly by learning my name and calling me by name during our conversations. I would highly suggest this store to friends and will absolutely be back.
Pretty good little shop. Friendly staff. Does inhouse lessons. Mainly focused on school band instruments.
Very small selection of guitars and amps
The staff was very helpful in answering my questions even though they didn’t have a Cello my son’s size in stock it was a very informative visit
I signed my daughter up for beginner violin lessons and out of 8 weeks of lessons 3 were cancelled – one of them we sat and waited for 25 min before they said the teacher wasn’t coming. I understand that emergencies happen once in a while but it turned out to be way more of a hassle to try to schedule make up classes or get my money back. Very unreliable and disappointing.
Also many times I was told I would receive a phone call about make up lessons or refunds and I always ended up having to reach out to figure out what was going on. Would not recommend for their lessons services!
If there was a way to give them negative stars, I would. They are horrible and unethical.
Prices are much higher than guitar center, musicians friend and wwbw, and yet, music and arts is owned by guitar center. Music lesson prices are ridiculously higher than everyone else. Have to go into a store to apply for a credit card? Ridiculous!! They need to offer an online credit application like the rest of the world. Will not do business with music & arts for these reasons.

Very nices places You will love it and you will receive Good customer support I recommend
I used to go to SA all the time in LA and this was my first time to come to an Orlando store. When you walk in, the place looks identical to a Guitar center. They do carry a lot of off brands you won’t see there and a lot of the same brands. I would not be remiss for likening the two stores to Lowe’s and Home Depot. SA being the Home Depot version. The only thing that was not the same was the customer service I experienced. The man in mics/wires etc in the center of the store was off the chart helpful. The store wasn’t really very busy and this guy was handling 5-6 customers at a time apologizing and kept asking for assistance because there were two registers there. Nobody ever came over to help, bless his heart. Great service from this guy though.
I wish they opened earlier than NOON or 1 o’clock – Otherwise I would give them a 5 star. However, it was just an average visit.
Decent store and selection.
There’s no customer service no one trying to help you find what you’re looking for
I called and they transferred me to my desired department which just picked up and hung up on me. Called back immediately and they did answer the phone this time and said they were extremely understaffed and have a lot of stuff going on and asked if I could call back in 25 min.
Bad management will read this review and immediately blame the employee and where there is some blame to place because they could have just not hung up on me the first time I called, the real issue is understaffing your stores and choosing not to provide assistance as a manager. If a manager was around to help there’s no way an employee would feel comfortable picking up and hanging up on its customers. The fact that this employee felt like picking up and hanging up was acceptable is embarrassing for everyone involved but should be especially embarrassing for those who claim to be managing these employees.
Terrible customer service
11. Tropical Music International, LLC
Address: 627 Brookhaven Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 , Orlando , Florida , United States
This is place is Awesome if you are a fan of Music, I was there for the first time and didn’t want to leave, left with 6 albums.
Very cool record shop. Fyi: under new management!
I wasn’t impressed. They had a ton of records but at the same time not the greatest selection, prices were unreasonably high too.
I have seen two people working behind the desk and they are always helpful and very nice. The will ordered anything you are looking for. The prices for their LP’s are a bit high for their used albums. They do have lots of options and you will most likely find what you are looking for. If you love the sight of vinyls you will love this shop. If you willing to dig through crates you can find some gold.
Prices are just ok.
Not great customer service. I reached out to them via E-mail. Which is on the site as a way to contact the store. I was looking for a few records sent my list and a couple questions in the email. I received a response to contact store for availably and pricing. Well I was contacting the store for that info via email. Wally was the rep. Who emailed me. In today’s age with all the competition to get a customer to spend money. U think they would value any potential sale. So instead on speandinf a couple hundred bucks on Christmas gifts here. I’ll go else where. Lost a good sale cause they didn’t want to help me through the provided contact info they supplied
Owner was a real A-hole! Follows you around the store like a child and God forbid you touch anything he will “rearrange” it back to his liking. Prices are crazy like the owner! Would never set foot in here again!
Decent record store , prices weren’t all that bad. I did pick up a few vinyl from the 2 to 5 cheap bins but I do have to say customer service was a bit below standard in my opinion.
13. Orlando Recording Studios
Address: Orlando, FL 32801 , Orlando , Florida , United States
This place is a gem. I found the perfect gift for my friend. I will be back .
Great place, amazing collectibles for sure
good vibes. good people. good music. good ideas. good friend
Good store – some items rather expensive. I think stock is aimed more towards DJs etc looking for hard to find titles
It is what it is. Good luck.
Also, the owner seems to always be on the defense.
Small retail shop, selling old music albums,
LPs, CDs, 60s-70s +++, sell,buy,trade. Corner of Orange&Colonial. Cool.
Do not buy records here unless you don’t mind a strict, unanounced, NO RETURN policy; even with unopened goods. It is a shame as the staff and owner obviously take care with stock, just not the consumer. Other record stores simply open the goods (which they can sell used) and offer a decent percentage toward a new purchase. Solid capitalism vs. buyer beware.
Great selection of music, and I love the vibe of the store but unfortunately everything is way overpriced. If you see a title in the store that you are interested in, I would suggest checking ebay first. They have several very common records selling for $30 and up just because someone sampled the record or because there is a break beat on it.
Response to Owner. I would have given a 2.5 rating if it was possible. I gave the store a positive compliment to augment the negative feedback. I only suggested that your records are overpriced. You can’t help but feel cheated when you purchase a record in your store for $30 or $40 and later you find it on eBay for $5 or $10. As diggers we have all experienced that, it’s part of the game. Despite the prices in your store I did like the vibe.
I looked them up on the Internet they had great reviews, unfortunately the internet said that they were open at 11 and they weren’t it was locked up lights were out waited around 20 minutes nobody showed up so I left.
16. POWERED BY FLORIDA EMPIRE MUSIC & MORE LLC
Address: 2155 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32804 , Orlando , Florida , United States
I placed an order on Amazon on 9/18/22 for 2 CD’s Eric Roberson (Lessons). I was told the CD’s would be delivered on 9/20/22. I needed the cd’s for a birthday gift, the party was 9/22/22 that was perfect. Amazon, delivered the package on 9/20/22 to the wrong address . Wednesday morning I googled where can I buy Eric Roberson cd Lessons and POWERED BY FLORIDA EMPIRE MUSIC popped up. I called, the young man told me, we don’t open until 10:00. I told him what I needed. H e said I can get it for me but he was closing early today and I was working until 2:00. He told me to text him the information and he would deliver the CD to me. He delivered the CD, everything was perfect. That’s excellent customer service, which is really hard to find. I’m a customer forever.
17. Rock & Roll Heaven
Address: 1814 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804 , Orlando , Florida , United States
It was an nice experience. They have so much merchandise that in the end of your visit, you won’t even be able to have seen it all. If you like music or pop culture I would definitely recommend this place
Amazing so much selection must for any collector.
Cds vinyls vhs etc so Amazing
Cool employees great inventory
Good place to visit.
Tremendous vinyl selection! Cramped aisles make shopping a challenge, but the treasures are there for the ones who dig! Prices are on the high side, but there’s no junk, only top quality vinyl.
Staff is great, wide range of music, minus one star for higher prices than average. This is mostly due to the high quality they sell. I still recommend checking it out.
Great selection but over priced
Prices higher than anything you’d find on any website ever.
Wow, what a letdown after hearing some good things about this shop. They had an alright selection, I can say that at least. However, the prices, organization, and general care of their merchandise just made me shake my head. They were selling vinyl in there for 40-60 dollars that I have seen for literally half as much in other stores, and having been to at least 70 American record stores I would say I have had some experience. I’m also from CA, which is notorious for high prices, but I have never EVER been to such an overpriced store. I understand needing to make a profit, however this just seemed greedy to me. This was especially true of picture discs, which they seemed to be selling somewhere around the price of gold. Not kidding if we are looking at the weight/price correlation.
So, it seems like a store that charges SO much for vinyl would take proper care of it right? Not these guys. So much of the vinyl was unsealed, had no sleeves (and, mind you, this was stuff they were charging top dollar for), and just haphazardly stuffed into a slot. The sleeves generally looked like crap, and the vinyl looked pretty dirty. This leads me into the sorting system they had generated. Very outdated (I mean, they had stuff like Europe in metal! Meanwhile most modern day metal bands were in Punk and rock, and many well known rock bands were just stuffed into a huge area labeled “rock, a-d, e-g, etc. while only the oldest of bands it seemed had their own labeled spacer. I got the impression the employees stopped actively listening to music in the mid 90’s).
Lastly, while talking about care, the store was very warm, amongst other things. While the temperature was probably not high enough to cause serious warpage, I would be wary buying anything that I was not able to listen to beforehand. On top of this, in the latter half of the ‘rock’ section, there were nails sticking out of the shelves, one of which tore my pants!
Seriously, if you are going to charge so much, at least take proper care of your merchandise and store, and perhaps clean the place every once in a while. I would never go back to this place, I don’t care if they will order rare things for customers, there is a place called the internet where you can do that for yourself for a lot cheaper.

Without a doubt the best IEMs I have ever purchased — the sound quality is absolutely second to none!! Their customer service and repair department are great too!! They truly value every customer — even make us ‘nobodies’ feel like rock stars :-). I’ve been working remotely with one of the techs in the repair department for quite a while to get the fit right on my IEMs — very challenging to do remotely. This guy has been great to work with — so focused on doing whatever is needed to satisfy the customer and get it right, and great attention to detail !! Thanks so much for your patience and perseverance Kabil :-).
First let me state that nothing is going to fix a poor-quality signal or mix from the board. That said, great quality IEMs make a marvelous difference. Having custom molds provides the greatest isolation, better bass response and are extremely more comfortable than universal plugs (rubber, flange or foam). As for the number of drivers (and crossovers), I was like many who have never tried high end multiple driver IEMs very skeptical that the audio quality would be any better and justify the cost. I’ve had single, double and quads that I thought sounded great, but these ten-driver JH16v2 Pro Customs sound and feel amazing! Even with a moderate quality signal they’re smooth and my ears feel so much better after two or three hours of use! The cost is the biggest barrier that keeps most from experiencing them (believe me – they weren’t in my budget) and to continue justify inexpensive in-ears. But in my opinion, thus far, they’re worth every penny! I love the company, but I do have to say that there was a lack of communication with them! First, I received no response for help finding an audiologist – something that JH Audio states in their order confirmation email that they well help with. Second, when calling just to see when my order would be charged, the person I spoke with sounded like my call was a waste of their time! To be fair, they did provide me with the information. Third, about a week or so after placing my order, the company had a 15% sale on their IEMs. I emailed both their NYC and Florida locations and messaged them from their website to see if I could possibly get the discount (these mothers aren’t cheap) and received no response! Again to be fair, the fine print in their ad did state “for new orders,” but even a negative response would have been nice. Fourth, I received no email notification when my order was shipped. I found out through my FedEx account. These communication issues aren’t the biggest deal as the product is fantastic, but I’d feel a bit more comfortable with the company as a costumer that’s not a big name.
Great customer service! I’ve been shipping my JH IEMs back and forth for quite a while trying to get the figment right. There was recently a change in the repairs department and the new employee had me come in for an appointment and spent time with me evaluating the fitment issue and let me sit and watch them fix it. Thanks so much for your outstanding service and product!
Their customer service is really horrible. Anytime I have issues with my ears or need to bring them in, theirs always a break down in communication or lack of communication. They really need to invest in their customer service department to make sure repairs and orders all run smoothly and in a timely manner. They only care about the big accounts and it truly shows in their service.
Headphones are good, customer service is bad. They make me pay 2 day shipping to myself even though it was their mistake and then they make the delivery for weekdays only. They got here on Saturday but I can’t pick them up because of JH Audio request for weekday delivery only. Wow they suck.
Overall, my experience with JH has been a rough one. I bought a pair of Roxanne’s since many of the artists I’m working with for festivals are using them. Got some impressions done by their team at a summer NAMM event and when I shipped them in, the molds they took weren’t deep enough.
Unfortunately, after already paying for the in ears, they told me I needed to go get my own impressions done from an audiologist at my own expense. Reluctantly I did, and I sent them in to have my Roxanne’s made.
A few weeks later they arrive and one ear is a great fit and the other is pretty far off. Customer service asked me to ship them back and I asked in return to please send me back my impressions because #1, I own them and #2, I wanted to see if my impressions were bad or if theyfailed at make an in ear from the impressions. A few more round of back and forth shipping and alterations and asking for my impressions back and one ear still doesn’t fit, and they still have my impressions that I wanted to use to get a new pair of in ears from an actual professional company.
To make the product look even worse, the “upgraded” carbon fiber case they shipped me had a line in the middle of the silk screened logo, half the clamshell wasn’t glued onto the hinge that holds it together, and shortly after, the other side came unglued as well.
Moral of the story, if you’re getting these ears for free because JH begged your artist to use them, they’re a great deal. If you’re buying them personally, I’d consider going another direction.
2 stars because if I push them into my ears and get them to seal, the quality of sound is quite good.
