I’ve been coming here for a few years since I played cello at Chaparral. I had my bridge replaced and the service was impeccable. Quick and professional. There is a dog in the office that said hello as well.
I talked to a man on the phone about a banjo string, was in the store ten minutes later and got my string replaced, no waiting, friendly service. It’s not the closest store to me but it’s the only one I’ll go to from now on :3
I’ve visited the store several times while shopping for a cello. The selection is limited, but they have more on the website you can order from. The staff have always been patient with my many questions as well as willing to go to any lengths to find in-depth answers on finishes, woods and construction. I’d recommend them.
Nice music shop. Looking into violin refresher lessons.
3. Guitar Center
Address: 8949 E Indian Bend Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85250 , Paradise Valley , Arizona , United States
Great customer service, hard to beat their prices, or their return policy. On five occasions they ordered a guitar for me. Easy pick up and great service.
The guitars were nice, it’s been awhile since I’ve been in. It brought me back to home. The sales staff were quite excellent. I don’t even play guitar and I almost bought one. Way cool place to be just to look. Who steals the show baby? It’s the guitar man.
Mi lugar favorito he comprado varios instrumentos
Th is a good place to go to get most anything you need. With two musicians in the family we spend more money here than I would like. I only say that because I prefer to patronize the small independently owned music shops around town. But it’s hard to resist this place because they do have wonderful staff always helpful kind and courteous
Good selection of acoustic guitars.
We found what we were looking for but they seem pretty understaffed and it was hard to get someone’s attention
I miss the days where guitar center was THE place to go for equipment. It’s a coin toss as to whether or not someone will approach you and help or just ignore you. Stop trying to up charge for warranty on gear when a bulk of your competition includes it for free and at a cheaper price for the product.
Staff is useless. Not much of a selection. Smells bad
Worst service I have ever seen, they act like they are occupied when you walk in to ignore you. I asked for them to setup a Floyd rose, it took 6 days after they said it would take 2, I called multiple times and the calls just dropped. Deserves lower than one star.
Fantastic music with knowledgeable staff especially Alex. So if you need advice on guitars then he is the man.
Alex was super helpful since out 5th grader decided to take Violin at school. He ran us through the rental process, helped us pick out a shoulder pad. After that we wanted lessons he called the instructor made sure the spot was available, and even gave our daughter a quick lesson on holding the instrument, helped her form. Just an all around great place we loved it. Thank you!!
Awesome store staff! Everyone is genuinely passionate about helping beginners develop into great musicians.
Monty’s music keeping music alive in your community for years! Miss Florence, but Monty is keeping the torch burning. Come visit.
My husband got his classical guitar set up here this week. He had it back the next day and once he did he was soo blown away by how it felt he wanted to practice an extra hour just because of the comfort level of his instrument and its playability. This shop has over 30 years open under the same ownership! You can rely upon anything musically related in this shop peruod.
Great music store!
They don’t close at 6. The sign says 6ish. Literally. That means before 5:45 anyway.
I love these guys, but just close at 5 or whatever. 6ish isnt helpful at all.
I called on the phone and asked if they had any used French Horns for sale. He said that they had one and that it had 4 valves and it was old. I asked him how much and he said $399. I was looking for a 4 valve “double” French horn so I drove 30 minutes to his shop to take a look. When I get there he pulls the Horn off of a top shelf and opens it for me. It was a crappy 3 VALVE Conn that was probably from the 70’s. It was not what he said it was, and there is no way it was worth even $200.
Do not go there unless you have to. I should have listened to the other reviews.
Most pompous, uninspiring, arrogant jerk of an owner I’ve ever met, will never return to this store, stay away.
Rude… yep rude. Not sure why.
8. MMHC Music Publications @ Music Masters
Address: 6990 E Shea Blvd Suite 110, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 , Paradise Valley , Arizona , United States
Great owners. Very helpful. I’ve bought and sold guitars thru them. 5 stars!
Great place for used higher end guitars, amps and equipment. Knowledgeable staff, great customer service, fair prices. Consignment sales offered for a small percentage of sale price, but way easier and more effective than Craigslist sales.
Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and fair.
Nice guitar selection but not many to choose from. The prices are higher than any other guitar shop in town.
Great place for guitars and basses
Low stock but it’s made up for in quality? I think you guys need a bigger space.
Never buy anything here unless it is inspected by a third party professional first. Not honest people.
Got ripped off here. Have any guitar purchased from here inspected by someone who knows their stuff. These guys will ripp you off!
I traveled over 500 miles, to be told my perfect Guild Songbird, need a complete set up…it didn’t…. it did however require a 40 dollar bridge piece for the G string compensation factor…the guitar had then battery removed for not being played reason, and when his ‘ Luther guitar tech installed a 9 volt battery in the rear, there is a plastic cover that had to be removed..when he removed the cover he inadvertently, scraped the finish at the point in front of the cover. I called Al about this, and of course he explained to me this was not the case..then they offered me a very low-end price for my Guild..other two guitars I took in we not acceptable according to the master Luther, and of course ‘AL”…..probably won’t come back here….don’t like the attempt to ‘screw’ me out of my guitar for nothing….have other friends who have done well here, not the case for me….I refuse to lay down and let some one who knows more then me(perhaps) try to pull wool over my face , on any deals…..

Address: 10630 N 71st Pl, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 , Paradise Valley , Arizona , United States
This store has a lot of the same personnel as Guitar Gallery in Scottsdale did before they closed. Randy and Riley have helped to keep my guitars in shape and even assembled a whole bass guitar for me! It seems like they are focusing on their repair shop at this new location, and they had a setup done on my favorite guitar for me in record time! I’ll be coming here now for any work I need done on my instruments.
