We have always enjoyed going in. Their service is great and their folks are very knowledgeable.
We absolutely love you guys!
As a drummer I find this place incredibly resourceful. I have an electric kit that I’m constantly buying accessories for and asking questions about and the workers here always point me in the right direction.
They truly go above and beyond.
Will always go here for my instrumental needs!
The staff was easily the best feature of the store. They were very friendly and supportive in helping me understand their products and services. Not only do they sell instruments but they offer lessons and practice rooms too. The selection of used electric pianos was limited and the prices of new instruments was higher than what I could pay shopping online, but with services like rent-to-own (great rates) and such knowledgeable staff I will be a return client.
Fantastic music shop Two guys were in there working. So very helpful. I shopped the stores and net before heading out. Allegro music has great prices
I like supporting Allegro (have been since about 2002). I teach piano out of my home, and they’ve helped supply me with the piano books I need for my students, even special ordering in the past. Thanks.
We are looking for a viola and came to your store today to purchase one. We walked in and there was 1 person in front of us and 2 others walked in behind us. We waited over 20 minutes as your worker kept helping everyone else that walked in behind us. Needless to say you guys just lost the purchase of upwards to $1,000. Too bad because you guys have some really nice looking Violas from the shelf.
If there is an negative star I will definitely rate this shop. We rent two cellos for our kids for 9 months with their rent-to-own program, we had been told that we can use the rental equity purchase ANY music instruments. However, when we returned them the staff told us our equity should be used on those rental/used musical instrument, if we want to use them on something different, they will take 25% from our equity and they also sell us those musical instruments $100 more. I went to the store three times and every time I got different explanation on their policy. Can you imagine they sell an $500 used Yamaha student flute which costs only $200 on amazon? And an ukulele for $145? Come on! We paid about $900 rental just thought we can get something interesting for our kids when we return but it ends up we just got 2 cheap Yamaha junior guitars which Allegro charged $250 each (only costs $135 on amazon). Highly recommend those who plan to rent musical instruments from them to get an used one from Craigslist or Facebook marketplace.
Update 6/24/19
You are very welcome to post the policy I signed here, if there is any. If you told customer the equity can be used for “rent to own”, I don’t understand what is the issue when we really want to buy some instruments. The problem is you guys keep changing the words you say to your customer. You literally want to throw an used Yamaha 220 student flute to us for about $500, which the a brand new newer model costs only $480 on amazon, that’s a rip-off! And come on, we both know what quality your cello are, those just basic student cello which you can find the new one in amazon $250 each.
To those who want to rend musical instruments from Allegro, I suggest you do some research first on Facebook marketplace or Amazon, unless you do not care how much you paid. Their “rent-to-own” program will sell over-priced instruments to customers when they want to use the equity.
I wouldn’t shop there for anything except for guitar picks or something maybe not even that.
2. Parker Music Academy
Address: 19515 E Parker Square Dr, Parker, CO 80134 , Parker , Colorado , United States
Wonderful piano teachers, cariculum is perfect for young ones to learn both by site and ear.
If you have a bright 6 year old you should seriously look into Children’s Music Academy. This is an exceptional way to teach children the language of music at the age they will most internalize. The kids think they are having fun they don’t realize they are learning piano, music theroy, playing by ear and in some cases perfect pitch.
I love this music school. Best price in the market! My kids have been here for 6 years. They learned so much more than just playing songs. By year 5, they learned theory that equivalent to the college level. They learned how to write songs, played ensemble, and played songs (both classical and market songs). The teachers give out so many prizes weekly to encourage students to keep up with home fun (homework) and class activities.
While we believe in the CMA curriculum, our teacher (who runs this facility), has demonstrated unprofessional conduct on a number of occasions. During COVID when everyone was online, she reluctantly offered online classes, and made it very clear that she did not want to be doing online classes. She did not require masks when kids couldn’t be vaccinated and the CDC recommended them and all schools were using them, and during hybrid classes, she consistently made comments that shamed the families that chose to participate online, though that was the only safe option at that time. I did bring up this concern to CMA but got no response or reply at all.
In our last month of attending, she failed to show up to class on a couple of occasions. When we showed up, the other teacher said she had a conflict but she never told us and never followed up with all of us that showed up (several families). She didn’t even reply to our emails.
She didn’t manage class time well so the kids were not well prepared for recital and during recital, she played so loud that you couldn’t actually hear the kids playing.
She combined classes without any input or discussion, and scheduled things such as make-up classes at times when we couldn’t go, even though we had already paid. It became a poor investment for our family because she does not seem to care about whether you actually get the in-person time that you paid for.
You pay month or yearly, regardless of whether or not you actually get the opportunity to participate at the agreed upon time.
I would highly recommend getting the CMA curriculum from another location.
5. HyperThreat Rehearsal and Recording Studio
Address: 20850 Park Hollow Dr, Parker, CO 80138 , Parker , Colorado , United States
We have been rehearsing here for a number of years and very much enjoy it. It’s an outstanding space , excellent equipment and very comfortable. It’s also recording studio. We have done recording here and been very satisfied.
Anne , the owner is also a musician/singer is very nice and supportive of our music. As a band it’s great to have a solid and positive relationship with the rehearsal-studio/owner. This is not Rocketspace we you just another band coming and going and no care cares about you or your success.
We highly recommend it.
I had a wonderful time meeting Anne and learning about her business.
She impressed me as a woman who has a lot of knowledge and experience. Also, one who wants to cultivate the talent in youngsters by developing their individual strengths.
I am looking forward to collaborating with her on all my recording projects!
My son took piano lessons from Ann for the past year. The experience was amazing! She really listens to him, and will answer any and all questions he has. She didn’t have a formal/structured learning process, which my kid thrived in. He wanted to learn chopstix – she taught him chopstix. He wondered what the pedals were fore – she taught him all about the pedals. He wanted to learn Felice Navidad… yep, she taught him felice navidad. She just goes with the flow, but she makes it so much fun! My kid loved it! Plus, he really is learning piano. She has a great program to assist in learning keys and whatnot. She’s so good, I almost signed myself up for piano lessons
Terrible business. The owner is pretty disrespectful. She will have a battle on text like a child would. Enginner didn’t know what he was doing, couldn’t get sound for an hr. Doesn’t know how to record hip hop vocals or use auto tune correctly. Volume was super low on the song. It took 3hr’s to do a song that takes an hour anywhere else. Good rates, good equipment, terrible business owner.
Confusing experience trying to line up booking. I thought I could rehearse for an hour but it was my bad. I wasn’t clear if I had to pay invoice only and not just zelle at the place. Despite my idiocracy I’d appreciate someone running a business to be somewhat polite and not a jerk about it. Lost a potential client :/ and it’s not like that website was too helpful or should be expected to dig through when you could just have decent customer service.
I purchased the Serum RED preset pack and love it. I am a huge fan of Deadmau5 and always have tried to recreate his sounds. I would consider Ryan a professional sound designer, and I am grateful that he released this pack full of sounds I have only attempted to recreate. I would highly recommend anything Ryan does!
Ryan is one of the few guys I’ve come across online who is able to deconstruct and reverse engineer some of the biggest electronic artists around. All in the box too which is really impressive. His new preset pack is high quality. I totally recommend it.
7. Best Buy
Address: 11267 S Pikes Peak Dr, Parker, CO 80138 , Parker , Colorado , United States
Our sales person Jason was very helpful, very knowledgeable. Always happy with best buy service.
I have unlimited Geek Squad service And when I am in the store
Great service very knowledgeable.
All I have to say is TJ is freaking AMAZING! His knowledge about everything in the store including work arounds when the system is being wonky is completely unmatched! I came in for a TV purchase and Joe helped me he was also just as amazing till things went left with the point of sale system and of course I had come in an hour before close (yes that customer I know but I work too so I work with the time given SORRY) so of course the system started acting crazy and he had called for back up and the lovely TJ and one other person (sorry I forgot your name) came to save the day and they did just that! Till the following day when things went wrong with my account, long story short the bank tried to blame Best Buy for the screw up when truly it was their fault but who wants to be at fault or take the blame for anything right right lol anywho TJ and I sat on the phone patiently to an extent with the bank for about 2 hours shared a snack, a few laughs and got things straightened out and I must say he did an exceptional job! You guys need more TJ’s in the store (really in life) seriously his energy is EVERYTHING I look for when I walk into a store I appreciate all the time he took with me and the patience he had GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! Thank you TJ ❤️
This best buy is clean and in a decent shopping center.
This store is well staffed and has a lot of friendly associated to help you find what you need. The only problem is that their store is pretty small compared to the one at Park Meadows. I have had to go to the Park Meadows store to find what I need when I can’t find it at the Parker Best Buy.
Seems like the store is disorganized, there was a monitor in the sale display for $99 but it was the incorrect monitor, when I go to check out, they tell me it’s not the one on sale and the representative behind the one helping me makes a snarky comment like “can’t you read”. Reps were young, which I understand, but at least make the comments after the customers leaves the store, not right in front of them.
This is my first time purchasing at this location, don’t think I’ll be going back because of the snarky attitude of the reps
Was happy w the products though
Don’t go here if you expect to get help with anything. Stood at the TV desk for 20 minutes with blue shirts running all over. Asked 3 for help and all said they’d “find someone”. If you’re not buying online don’t bother.
customer service is pathetic.
Wow. Stood dead center in the middle of the store for over 15 minutes. Made eye contact with at least half the staff (which accounted for 10+ employees). Not One offer to help. I really can’t believe this company would employ 20+ on one shift, to stand around and stare at their phones. Amazing
8. Music@Mainstreet
Address: 19600 Mainstreet, Parker, CO 80138 , Parker , Colorado , United States
Excellent instructors! Prices are very reasonable. A great place to take lessons!
I learned the lesson from the best. I will for ever be grateful.
These guys had a cornhole tournament in their parking lot. I wasn’t participating but I did hang out in the shade with my dog and the owners. They seem like a great couple. They’re successs keeps building and building.
Fun local place.
Took my 5 years old to try first time piano lessons, her teacher mrs. Jeanne was very good. But communication with studio really sucks I booked all the lessons online and never knew I have to pay service fee and registration fee.
