My husband recently bought a guitar and rented music equipment for our wedding reception spending well over 500$. So earlier this week we went into the store to buy a drum set to support local business, but we wanted to try out the set before we bought it. when you walk into the store you can clearly see rooms set up for lessons and to try out music equipment before you buy it which we have done in the past.
We talked to a salesman who is bald with a beard who works in the rental section who was incredibly rude. When my husband asked if we could go into the drum room and test the drum kit before we buy one, he rudely informed my husband that we could try the drum set for kids in the corner. My husband asked the sales associate if we could check out the kit in the room with the drums and this time he walked us over to the room showed us the set and said these are not for anyone to play on and we could not try them out. Why are they in your lesson/ practice room if nobody plays them?
Dealing with this rude gentleman was very unfortunate because we give blue angel a lot of business. We have shopped at Blue Angel Music for a couple of years and buy music equipment from them on a regular basis. Now because of this rude sales associate and the way we were treated we will take our business to GUITAR CENTER in Pensacola
I wasn’t here never heard of this place
Called about an item that we needed in an urgent situation while traveling and was told it was in stock. Called back to see if I could pay over the phone because I wasn’t sure I could get there before close and was told no, but salesperson said they would put it behind the counter. Called back after driving wide open for over 3 hours to tell them I’d be 6 minutes late and was told they didn’t have the item. No one ever tried to be helpful. I’ve been in sales for over 20 years and this is not how you earn any customers business.

Its a great little shop, hands down. Everything is well organized, they have artists that most don’t, great prices. The owner is also very organized and can point you to the record your searching for. Many small details like the lighting, paintings on the wall, and the furniture makes this place a definite place to shop for vinyls.
Eric is always so helpful and full of knowledge! Today’s visit there was a mistake on our receipt and he ran out into the parking lot to catch us before we left to correct the mistake. Great customer service!
First time in this place and it did NOT disappoint! Eric was extremely helpful and I found great treasures! If you want a really neat, no pressure, wide variety of all genres…go to Revolver Music. Fantastic atmosphere too!
P.S. It REALLY is where the directions take you. Looked like a cute little café/bistro on the outside. That’s there as well. Well worth stopping in.
Looked like a very cool record store and I was really looking forward to it… Unfortunately even though the hours said they were open, the door was locked and lights out. They need to update the stores hours.
I will rewrite the review the next time I am in when they are open.
Relatively limited, but highly diverse and eclectic selection of new sealed records. Priced as you would expect them to be, so don’t expect your average Amazon prime price. The owner is very friendly, and reiterated his willingness to special order specific albums for customers.

They say they are open. I walked in and the counter was dark. The Gelato was covered with foil and the light was off. There was no one who even looked at me to greet me. They were all engrossed in the records. I reviewed the menu board. After waiting to the point of uncomfortablility I walked out. I live two blocks away but I’ll just head to Publix. They’re neighborly and they have great Gelato. It’s really not clear to me what the roll of the store is.
RUDE! Never be back! Was going to buy 3 gelato treats and wanted to sample one first. No, not on event day speech. In the time it took to explain that she could’ve sold 2 more cups.
Record area is pretty small. New vinyl organized on the racks but all the used stuff is on the floor and in no particular order.

What an amazing experience. The staff was spot on when it came too professionalism. I bought my first guitar, there was no up sale just great a conversation and some laughs. Also met a couple of older gentlemen that even tune my guitar while they where showing older videos of themselves playing with Kid Rock, Goerge Strait even some old Mowtown back stage. This was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time.
Excellent customer service! This store is like a candy shop for musicians. I love it.

It’s alright. The selection is a little bland and basic but it’s Guitar Center! Don’t mind coming in and checking out what they have just hope in the future they get some better keyboards and drums mainly synthesizers workstations and high end drums like DW Drums and pearl Master series!!!
Joey and Kel were great. Joey help with some gear questions and sold ne a mixer. Kel fixed some issues of lessons from last year
Didn’t have my guitar picks-checked put the acoustic room but none caught my eye–
I’ve ordered my grandson a guitar 3 times. After a week I get an email saying that I canceled the order which I did not. Today I’ve been on hold 45 minutes with the verification department. What BS . My grandson probably thinks I’m just senile.
Horrible expercience , first off ive been going there every single day playing a mandolin thr mandolin strings are junk over wrapped on pegs. I asked 5 days straight id they would change strings for me so i can hear it. It was excuse after excuse.
Theres a long haired kid in there couldnt be more of wanna be , guitar douche to the max!!!!!
This place is for monkey go support real music stores. People here dont get paid enough to care apparently.

Really nice customer service with non-pushy sales. Also much better trade in prices than other stores with a wide variety of guitars, basses, drums, etc.

Very nice guitar selection. Certified Gibson dealer so that is always a plus. Also, the carry quite a few beautiful used Martin’s. Friendly, helpful staff will assist you in any questions or concerns to make your experience there enjoyable.
They can’t quite get the same prices as things you find online, I understand that competition level is very hard to match but these guys make tringas music look like a joke.
I think the idea of needing to have a dealer’s license to sell certain guitar brands is completely unamerican and unnecessary but I’m thankful that these guys are licensed Ibanez dealers seeing as tringas is not. If you want a $5,000 Gibson or a whole store of nothing but high class Blues equipment then go next door. If you want a reasonable selection with a little bit of everything and good prices then go here.
Rude never going back
Manager Rick is nice to work with, but E.C.King is so rude that my son & I will never go back. Saturday 7/1/23 we walked in as a nice older couple bought 2 guitars, but I guess King thought they talked too much because after they left King railed on them for 10 minutes, while my son & I were 5 feet away, made the place seem really negative. Then he was rude to my son about a pedal, and made rude, snide comments to me even though we were being nice and I was at the counter buying a Telecaster. I literally couldn’t believe my eyes and ears, I’ve never seen a guitar store employee act like that, and I’ve been in a lot of guitar stores. Seems like some serious retraining needs to be done at Leitz Pensacola. We saw the opposite at Blues Angel, nice helpful people, and we bought a great guitar there— that’s where we’ll be going from now on.
I like to support local businesses and buy my guitars local. But being turned away because of not wearing a mask when The CDC even says it ok to go with out a mask is down right bad business! Every other music store including “Guitar Center” no longer requires mask. I was coming in to buy a les Paul standard 60’s that I have been saving for and was looking forward to buying today but because of your mask policy I will order my Les Paul online. Sad thing is I liked your store. Just thought whom ever runs the place should know what their dumb mask policy is costing them.

Working with Jonathan was so easy! He was very knowledgeable about everything! Knowing he knew what he was doing, made recording so much easier on my part. I will for sure recommend them and use them again in the future for all my piano recording!

This place was cool and had a vast collection of rock and country vinyls but when it came to newer bands or any kind of rap or hip hop there was almost none. Any kind of rap and hip hop was the single 8 track ones or samples. The newer ones werent a great variety. They should deff expand on those areas alot more. But if you are looking for classic rock and country vinyls they do have alot to offer! Btw I was searching for Mac Miller and other rap vinyls on this particular adventure.

I’m very impressed with the layout of this store. They have more than enough items to view and purchase. The BIGGEST negative this place has going for it are the main reason you would go here- the prices. Man, everything in here overpriced. You are better off getting your CDs on eBay. Their prices are so high that every item wanted to purchase could be found cheaper anywhere else and that’s including the shipping. This place is like 25 years behind the times on pricing. Used CDs should be cheap, not full retail price when they were sealed.
Went to the store during normal business hours and the door was locked. Looked on Facebook and called the store number, there was no indication that they would be closed. I took my lunch break to go browse the store so, I guess I wasted it. The store looks super cool so, I hope I can swing by one day in the future.
I just want to make everyone racism still exist. I do business with a lot of people and I decided to check this one place out called the “Music Box”. I called before even going in. And when I arrived I was questioned about who I spoke with as is it was a no colored sign on the door and one of the jerks behind the counter even told me not to even take my records out because they are not interested and begin to repeat himself while my boyfriend was talking to the other guy who was trying to help. I will never step foot in this store again or even recommend anyone.

Season after season the Pensacola Symphony stands above regional orchestras -, often on a level of national excellence, as exemplified by the national and international artists it brings to play with the PSO. Leadership from podium to librarian is exceptional. Would not miss a performance or season.
My Wife and I saw Beethoven an Blue Jeans last year, hopefully we’ll have another opportunity for another concert.

Great coffee and beautiful spot tucked away behind palafox st. It took them a while to acknowledge that I was standing at the counter, and the coffee took a while to come out. But the coffee was good and the people were friendly!

Extremely upset when I got my hot chocolate and it was mostly foam.
I have been going to the bodacious family of shops for several years now and was excited when they opened one right near the YMCA. We have gone there a few times to get coffees and books, but I made the mistake of ordering avocado toast this morning. I waited for 20 minutes while seeing the girl make food for three other people who had come in behind me. After she brought out the third order, I finally left without my food. When I called to speak to the manager she was not there and the girl couldn’t tell me when the manager was going to be in. I definitely will continue to go to the one on Palafox Street but will not give this location my business anymore.
Came up on a Google search for used bookstores. Upon entry we asked if they had a used book section, and will received as though we had asked where the children for sale section was. Boutique, expensive, this is what you looking for. This is your place. Look elsewhere for a good bookstore
