My favorite synth shop in the whole world. Blake and Chuck are amazing, thank you!
Love this place!!!
The world would be a better place with more music stores.
Husband was interested
Gusto a la musica
The shop looks phenomenal exterior &interior everything is well organized with quality products and educated staff members can’t complain about any of these things. The only catch is the Cost said of products they are charging an arm and a leg for their mid-range merchandise. If you are in the market for low to mid-range instruments you’re better off going to Sam Ash. if you have the cash in hand you should consider their higher end products but otherwise stay clear.
2. The Glass House Record Store

Amazing place ! Best prices and best collections. Since I discovered The Glass House Record Store, that’s the only place I go.
Love this shop, love the area. Good mix of vintage and new vinyl. The new arrivals section is crazy large. It must be at least 20 crates!
Awesome selection of international music and thoughtful service!
Score is 3.5, huge selection good pricing. You really have to do some digging here so if you’re into spending lots of time looking this the store for you. My main cons, quality of records mixed, The genres are pretty loosely defined, and majority of stuff is in new arrivals which seemed mixed no organization so not a store you’ll find specific stuff but hidden gems.
Very cool small, but not tiny, record store. Seems to have a better selection of 60s-80s stuff than newer titles.
Organization could be better. Had a huge selection of “new arrivals” that had not been put into official sections yet. It’s fun to look through a new arrivals area sometimes, but one this big just made me feel like I was missing out on some of the things I was looking for.
A new small vinyl shop for me. Pomona old town antique row. Pretty diverse selection but a little pricey.
Pretty Mid NGL
3. Zoinks Records
Address: 226 S Main St, Pomona, CA 91766 , Pomona , California , United States
Cool hole in the wall place with very interesting selection of old vinyls, the guy was very nice and we talked about music for a long time, he was very friendly to everyone who came in
Zoniks!
Really dope record shop. Hole in the wall with random and hard-to-find vinyls and tons of cool shirts, stickers, and pins. Type of music shop you see in hipster movies. Plus I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff (is it just the one guy? I only ever see him), super cordial and knowledgeable. Never can resist stopping by when I’m in downtown Pomona.
4. CHRIS’ GUITAR SHOP
Address: 178 W 3rd St, Pomona, CA 91766 , Pomona , California , United States
He was the best human .. I was completely satisfied with his skill. See ya soon.
Been to this shop quite a few times and they have the best service and prices of all shops I’ve been to. Can’t recommend then enough.
Expert upgrades and repairs. This is the place to go for a guitar setup! I can not recommend them highly enough!
Took an acoustic and an electric fender to Chris. He did an amazing job. Sounds better than new and also an amazing cleaning job.
Owner was extremely disrespectful to someone outside of his storefront. Said it should’ve been obvious the store was open when the lights were off and the time was over 30 mins after close… sent his female coworker outside to cuss the kid out. So unprofessional and disappointing. Would leave zero stars if I could.
Owners of shop are extremely unprofessional and I witnessed them cuss out a bystander. There is absolutely no respect and I do see a pride issue at play. Sad to see.
friend of mine used to work there and he recommended I go there for my amp repair. Said he was a knowledgeable guy and fair prices.
Called in and told the owner my buddy who worked there recommended I go. Immediately told me “yeah I fired that guy” and I know for a fact he didn’t… but nevertheless…..
Asked about getting an amp looked at for a hum. Wanted to know if I needed new tubes or not. and was told it would be 150 dollars to just look inside. And it would be more if he had to do any work. Then he went about how people are always getting mad at him for charging more than 150. Then he said “you should just fix it yourself”
Mind you this is after showing up 2 times at 4:30 and no one was there when their hours say they are open till 6.
It sucks there aren’t more amp repair places around but won’t be going there… that’s for sure

As a beginning guitar learner it was a little intimidating shopping for a first instrument. After visiting a couple of the corporate owned music shops in the area and suffering the sort of indifference typical of these places I stumbled upon Styles. Huge difference! Lou, one of the owners, spent a good deal of time with me helping me select an appropriate instrument and giving me lots of advise and encouragement. Both Lou, and his brother Gregg are very patient and friendly and make you feel more like family than a customer. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, I’m sure you will appreciate this gem of a local, family owned and operated business.
My go to place since 1988.
Great Shop will update soon
Friendly, good selection and a great staff. They are cheaper than Guitar Denter, and far more knowledgeable & helpful.
both guys are great people,I have bought guitars, strings, accessories and also they have worked on my guitars.A-1 service all the time .I would recommend them
Walked in to find some ukulele books to learn and to play some music. They were a litter hard to find but I’m glad with my purchase. There isn’t a huge selection but there are some starter books so I’m ok with that!
The guitar tech here is totally incompetent. I have a tech that does amazing setups elsewhere but he has been away due to medical leave. I had brought in an instrument to be fret leveled and the guy here was using the fret rocker completely wrong with the strings on. He told me he couldn’t do anything and that I should wait for my miracle guitar tech. I’m glad I did not do business with these jokes.
Bought a vintage guitar from this store that ended up having buzzing issues. Not thinking much of it I had a few techs look at it, all three techs stated and even showed me how bad the neck was warped, a long term issue from improper care. In hopes of returning a bit after their return policy since the issue had been there to begin with, they held their return policy ground, said their guitar tech looked at it with no problems, and even had the audacity to tell me that I not only needed a second opinion, but that the situation was nothing but buyer’s remorse! As if I don’t buy and sell guitars for a living. Seeing another review here about bad tech experiences here..I would normally say this tech needs to stick to basic restrings only, but apparently can’t even do that either. I wrote a very understanding and forgiving email about the issue and even offered an exchange for a different vintage guitar they had, trying my best to give this place a second chance..and not only outright refused me but added insult to injury claiming the neck warp was nonexistent. Thankfully I was able to sell the pickups for more than half what I paid, and plan on using the body for a custom project. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure dealing with. Completely insulting. I, nor anyone I know will buy from this store again.
Really unprofessional to me as there customer. Sold me a used amp that was broken.
Check your used gear before you sell it!
Told me they would fix it, free of charge and possibly throw in some gas money! The amp would be done in about 4 days. Awesome!
3 weeks later! Excuse after excuse, they than surprised me with 60$ Charge when i went to go pickup the amp. Not ok!
If the amp was completed in original time frame, i wouldnt have cared about the 60$ charge.
Styles music you still have the ability to correct this, i hope you reach out to me.
Muy buen servicio buena calidad i son muy accessibles en los presios
Great place. I felt like family
Very good customer service and excellent prices!!
Ok
Really nice people work here. Always helpful when my daughter needs her violin tuned.
Went there twice looking for a guitar the guy had every size except the one I was looking for on both visits. Nice place , clean, the guy was very nice and professional.
Not the best over priced . never open on time.b
