Look here first. There’s something for everyone in all price ranges. The store is bright, spotless and filled with treasures and good energy. It’s obvious the owner loves doing what she does and has an encyclopedic knowledge of rocks, crystals, etc. Open 7 days a week from fall to spring. Closed during hottest summer months. Best place in town.
Stopped by today and the owner is absolutely amazing and kind.. she anwsered all my questions in depth and is a wealth of knowledge.. small store but tons of cool and interesting things.. picked up some cool fossils, a nice crystal, some fresh lavender and sage, and a couple crystal/mineral egg looking rocks… gonna put the egg rocks in my chicken coop and let my daughter find them when she collects the eggs tomorrow.. it will be a hoot! Thank you very much and i will definately be back again next time i pass by!! Blessings =)
What an amazing store!! The owner, Lenora is very knowledgeable and so friendly. They have the best prices I’ve ever seen and a great selection of the most popular all the way to some rare specialty stones and everything in between. They have a great variety of polished, obelisk, raw, and geode crystals and some other fun gift items like pipes, incense, jewelry and carved wood. Don’t let the rustic location fool you, Roadrunner Rocks is a real GEM.
Quaint little shop, reasonable prices
Small but good selection and priced at a non gouge rate. You can definitely get something nice here for under $20. The store operator is nice as well.
Would’ve given this place 5 stars but I’m only giving 1 for having unique gift ideas, but took the rest of the stars off because of the owners treatment of my son. My husband, kids and I walked in, and at first she was friendly and nice, but as we were paying for the bag of rocks for my daughter, she started accusing my son of stealing because he had his hands in his pockets. We asked get if she wanted to see, and she said no, but kept rudely saying that he is older and should know better than to keep putting your hands in your pockets. After that I really just wanted to give back her rocks for insulting my son. He was more than willing to show her he had nothing in them. We used to pass through there a lot, but I’ll never be stopping at that shop again.
Best place to get accused of stealing. Was not surprised to look up the reviews and find another that complained about how rude the staff was. Both at this place and the attached gem store. At the gem store the owner followed us around like a hawk breathing down our necks. Then hid the display after we were looking at it. We thought it was odd but didn’t understand what was happening until we went into the rock store, where we realized the owners were talking to each other. The owner of the rock store started acting very rude and weird before finally admitting that we were making them nervous because we had our hands in our pockets, profiled us because of our age, and than said we should know better. I was going to buy stuff but it was so insulting I was not going to give them any of my money. No shortage of gemstone stores, find a more polite one.

Address: 1450 W Main St, Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
Everything was okay… just okay (prices, service, merch.
They have great selections between the kiosk, on demand and they even have free movies you can watch if you have the app. Out here in there middle of no man’s land this is a plus in my book.
This particular redbox is right in front of the Family Dollar store.

Small rock store, friendly couple and dog.
Such an awesome place! Great selection and the cutest dog named pepper!
Love all the available crystals, there’s always something new.
I spent over 1 hour looking at all the mineral rocks when I was finished and had the crystals I wanted to purchase I looked all over for someone to check my items out. The whole time I was there the gates were opened and a car was parked by the trailer it looked like someone would be there but no one answered. They could have made money if they had someone working there. Should probably close the gates and lock it up if no one’s there I felt it was a big waste of my time.
Crazy rock shop that just keeps expanding. More and more is added, there are tons (literally) of crystals, agates, geodes and more. Some cut and polished, some not. There must have been at least a hundred 50 gallon drums full of rocks as well as tables, trailers and more. If you like rocks, you could spend hours here.
I was really surprised at the prices, too expensive.
6. Love’s Travel Stop
Address: 760 S Quartzsite Ave, Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
VERY busy with lines for gas. $2.55 unleaded gas. Subway sandwich was good, try the chicken breast sub. They said it is a new item.
Only store around that had cherry bang energy drink, nice people
Good place to get fuel for you car, suv, truck, RV, side by side, motorcycle. always busy. there is room for large Class A motorhomes to get in and out. Fuel price are good for the area, 40 cents cheaper than on the California side of the border. Remember California is a sanctuary state so they are over taxed and businesses have to charge lots more to have any profit or go out of business.
Nice pit stop, food choices are subway and fried chicken which are both pretty good if you ask me.
The bathrooms weren’t clean, which is uncharacteristic for Love’s, I didn’t shower here so no clue how the showers compare to the restroom here. There’s lots of parking during the day but Temps get crazy high, it’s 114 on my dash as I type this.
Me gusto.
Mostly clean and mostly quick service.
Must have had a rush. Trash container totally filled, Subway tables dirty, women’s bathroom trashed but in process of being cleaned, long line at register.
Terrible customer service from management and restaraunt services are a joke. Never have chicken cooked when we are there, subway is alright. Most of the time they dont have cheese bread or pizzas.
As soon as you walk in the door, the lady at the counter is screaming no pets allowed! She says there is a sign on the door and we double checked and there was no sign saying no pets allowed. It’s 108° outside and she wanted the dog to stay in the car. Loves in Quartzsite is the worst pet friendly pet place ever. I thought all loves was pet friendly but this lady at Quartzite loves is no friend to pets and I hope everyone stays Away from this loves! Maybe if you get a lot of people complaining about this lady at the counter who screams at the top of her lungs at customers a walk in the door then maybe they’ll do something about it
7. Roadrunner Market
Address: 200 E Main St, Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
Great little store. Has mostly everything and something for everyone. Friendly staff and customers. A wonderful resource for Quartzsite
Excellent Fresh donuts daily yummy
Great fresh Donuts !!!!
Good variety for the size of the store. Not somewhere I would want to do a weekly shopping though, mostly because of the prices. Would have been nice if they had more than one register opened. A constant 7-8 people in line is a little ridiculous.
Not sure what the problem is with the reviews about not wearing mask, everybody was wearing them. If it concerns a person that much, then don’t go in.
Open year ’round! Best grocery in Quartzsite. Great selection of fresh meats and beer. Recently expanded.
Great produce. Prices are extremely high on chicken. Meat and eggs are also expensive.
Just went through today for dinner picked up some bacon potato Salad, Hawaiian salad, rotisserie chicken.
Well bacon had mold on the bottom side
Potato salad was expired 2 days ago
Their cooked chicken bearly even had the skin white when it’s being sold as fully cooked.
Looking forward to returning the moldy expired food and the only thing that “seems” safe to the store for a return. They had really great meat last year during season but this kind of mess up leads to store closures.
Visiting in town and stopped for a few things. I left when I saw that almost no one including multiple employees and someone who appeared to be the manager of the store was wearing a mask during the worst pandemic in a hundred years. Makes you wonder about what else they don’t take seriously. The reply by the management that it’s not law and you’re no more safer if both they and you wear a mask, shows a callus and science refuting stance. Obviously they care little for the safety of their patrons.
Great home town people. Very friendly. This is a update on my post. I live here and have watched the amount of people who come in with there pet dogs. That is sickening. 2 days ago I a man came in with his animal. It sniffed everything at its level.. I have been sickening by others in the past that brought there animals in with them. Roadrunner market. The next time I see some one bring there animals in, I am going to to demand proof that that is a service animals. Why should I by something that someone else animals has their nose on.
8. Pilot Travel Center

This was so fun. Tons of rock vendors from all over the world. You can buy raw rocks, polished rocks, gems made from rocks, rock displays, food trucks and so much more. I will go back again.
Met some cool cool people and got a necklace I can’t take off! Great variety of rocks, gems and fossils.
Lots of stuff and many rocks
Windy
This is a great place for rock hounds. There are serious buyers and sellers but it’s also fun for the novice to learn and find treasures. It’s spread out and dusty. There is no map. But its friendly and cheaper than Tucson. We bought slabs (1/4 In. Slices of rock) for a friend that does lapidary. A piece of meteorite. Several geodes. A sunset turquoise necklace mounted in silver. Polished Jasper from Idaho. And a piece of petrified wood. So a variety. Before I’ve found amethyst and garnet beads. It’s a drive but totally worth it.
Lots of rockd, minerals. Stones, jewelry, clothing. Graceries.
Shoppers beware of getting ripped off by a lady named Ann. Expert at palming money and starting an argument in order to confuse you. Most vender are upstanding but unfortunately this show attracts the rip off artists as well. Tyson Wells has a much better reputation
This show has been slowly dying over the years and I can officially say that this year it seems to have died. Few vendors and generic polished stones and slabbing rough. Not the show it was years ago. Just go to Tucson and avoid quartzsite and the headache.
Today is not good lot gone.
11. Collier’s Corner
Address: 120 Palo Verde Ave, Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
Great deals! Friendly volunteers. Always enjoy going.
Large selection. Good prices. Masks required. Friendly staff.
Had lots of things, cheaper than Goodwell
Fun to look around, but the people who donate here give mostly junk. The clothes are raggedy and the linens smell musty.
It’s OK. I was looking for canvas shopping bags, a bigger crackpot, a 2 burner portable electric stove and small pillows. I didn’t find any of those.
I did find a small Foreman-like grill for $8.00 and a small plastic fan for $2,50.
A pretty basic S.A. thrift store.
These people are the most rude and fowl people I have met in quartzsite. Absolutely awful staff with self Righteous attitudes. I implore you to not shop at salvation army of quartzsite. Let’s not support the bad eggs. I really can’t say enough on how awful the staff was to us
Been in once this season. 100° outside , you’re killing people slowly by requiring a stupid mask. Can’t breath normal with those unnecessary masks and the heat!!! Get off your high horse lady! Nobody requires them anymore!!!
There is no mask mandate in Arizona. Nobody wore them correctly in there either, including employees. No thanks, how disappointing!

I love this thrift store!!! I will definitely be back especially because of the lady who works there. What amazes me is that she did everything all by herself!!! If I may add, I read the reviews on here and they seem off… lets remember when you walk into a thrift store prices are not negotiable and don’t ask to pay your own price, that’s just wrong. Simply don’t buy it. Prices are fair and reasonable, I will be returning!!!
Great store for Quartzsite we also need a dentist, car, wash, golf course, better food, music store, let’s not digress love it
Nice place, found a couple shirts. Lots of clothes
Awful. Place is disorganized. Piles of stuff, no pricing, and an angry worker that wont allow you to move items to look around “because things aren’t priced! Too bad. Love to support animals in need. Never going back there. Do better.
Decent amount of stuff, mostly clothes and some kitchen items and housewares. The lady behind the counter who was in charge was miserable, confrontational, and basically hating life. Every single person who checked out while I was there questioned her pricing (as it was higher than the marked prices.) Her responses varied from, “Do you want to pay my rent?” to “Because that one is size large.” and so on. One lady put a coat back cuz zipper was broken, and the proprietor didn’t throw it out? Anyway, won’t be returning. PS Thought the money would go to an animal shelter but get the distinct impression it won’t. Best to donate directly.
16. Reader’s Oasis Books
Address: 690 E Main St, Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
At first it seems like total chaos, then you realize that there are sections and organization. I found exactly the type of book i was looking for. Also, there were two authors out front and we bought books from them as well. They were really fun to talk to.
Awesome man of many genres knowledge.
Great. Paul is greatly missed and it is so wonderful that he will be immortalized in a cameo appearance in the 3-time Oscar-winning movie Nomadland. Very special.
A strange and quirky little shop.
Found what I was looking for.
Kool place with some local history.
I just wanted one particular Steinbeck novel. Owner was busy playing piano, singing and giving an interview to a video crew so it seemed rude to interrupt and ask how the unobvious “filing system” worked.
Closed due to death of owner .
Oh, my… Don’t go.
17. The Smoothie Spot
Address: 20 N Central Blvd, Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
Cute little place with pleasant service.
No restroom or outside advertising though.
Enjoyed healthy smoothie and a well done cup of coffee.
Thank you Lisa and all the best with your Business!
Awesome smoothies and boba teas and coffees
I own a RV park a block from this shop and I send all my customers there for awesome souvenir’s delicious coffee, tea, smoothies pretty much any drink you could want. when in Quartzsite and your looking for some cool things to gift you’ll have to stop in here and check out what Lisa has to offer. Get a drink also you will not be disappointed .
The owner is very condescending, especially to her employee. Micro managing so the employee had zero confidence to do anything on her own. Pretty sad to see. Sell your business if you’re that miserable.
I got a banana strawberry smoothie medium size $ 9.00
Delicious, simple fresh-baked doughnuts & coffee place. Can’t wait to see them in their new spot soon
The hot lattes I ordered were tepid, and the owner woman was being quite rude to her newly hired staff. I tried to give them a second chance, but upon walking in today I was greeted with a terrible smell and a passive aggressive attitude from the owner. I feel bad for anyone who works with such a nasty person. Terrible energy, I hope you do some soul searching. Many people would be joyful to have their own cafe, you seem entitled and ungrateful. Good luck!
A pretentious place with a self righteous manager.
Not very friendly, mocha had a strange sour taste
18. Tyson Wells Enterprises Inc
Address: 121 Kuehn St, Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
Awesome prices. Super friendly staff; and, always a fabulous selection of Mother GAIA’s beauties.
Shamus showed me pieces that I would’ve never found on my own and was friendly and knowledgeable. He even took the time to carefully wrap all the pieces we bought and helped carry them to the car! Thanks Shamus for making my experience a great one and I can’t wait to come back!
Most of the items were well priced- and we (my family, friends, and I) spent about three hours and several hundred $$ in there. When checking out, my mom was asked if she was wholesale and she accidentally replied “no.” when we realized she was checking out, we ran up to make sure the lady (Heidi) knew she was wholesale. To which Heidi replied “what!? That other lady (my mom), said ‘no’. I am NOT voiding this and starting over- because she said no to wholesale”.
She was maybe 10 items out of at least 50 items in to the sale, and hadn’t even got to the tedious things that needed to be rung up. If it weren’t for the fact that none of the rest of us had checked out and there was a sign at the register reading “we can refuse service to anyone for anything at anytime,” we would have made sure she knew how we felt about her rude attitude.
The other woman who helped my sister and I, on the other hand, was amazingly kind. I believe her name was Carissa. She was courteous and took her time answering the few questions we had at the register.
I thought the other store in Apache Junction had cooler sculptured rocks. Seemed like they had just basic rocks everyone has. We had to show cashier almost every place where we got a rock to dispute prices. She kept trying to charge us higher.
So much stuff here! Shiny rocks! Jewely findings! Postcards! Trinkets and souvenirs! So many treasures!
Zero stars. It’s a sad experience of a nasty owner and intimidated employees.
A tourist trap, cheap foreign material it is not a good example of a local rock shop or the Quartzsite experience, be very careful of the reproduction fossils.
Do not trust ! Bought a stone that one of the owners said was meteorite and after I paid a hearty price found that this was not a meteorite! Wast of 50$
20. Quartzsite Swap Meet
Address: Quartzsite, AZ 85346 , Quartzsite , Arizona , United States
Love love love it here! Great deals, friendly people, good finds
Got to love Quartzite! Ricks and gems and beads and STUFF EVERYWHERE. HAD A BLAST.
Tons of good stuff, fair prices. Lots of stuff for travelers (RV stuff).
HUGE swamp meet specializing in RV itrms.
Lots of cool stuff
It’s okay nice atmosphere
September 28, 2020. Phone number is no good. Tried calling to check the hours because are not listed. I’m guessing they are no longer open but still listed. Nice.
