OMG After shopping the “Big Box” stores all day, not finding help or the merchandise I needed. We were overheard complaining while at lunch. The person next to us ask if we had tried The Music Center? We left with directions and our day was saved. Extremely kind, most intelligent staff I’ve encountered. I had unique needs which they filled quickly, smiling the entire time. They simply couldn’t do enough to for me. How wonderful , brightened up our day and left us smiling. ! Certainly learned how a little kindness and knowledge can change someones world. Thanks a million for a great day ! We’ll be back!
This is my thrid times to this store .find everything i need .their ordered was on timely matter. The store manager was very friendly good at showing,Explained when asked question.
I needed a last minute sound system for an outdoor party. All three personnel in the store were extremely friendly and helpful. I was in and out with exactly what I needed in less than 20 minutes. Thanks for helping me make my company picnic a success!
Great price, and nice place to visit
Knowledgeable staff. Small selection in digital pianos and recording studio equipment but will order, if you can wait.
Been in this store twice now, both times the workers talked down to me and basically ran me out of their store within 5 minutes. Horrible customer service.
Very Unwelcoming. This is not the place if you’re a musician and you want to touch and feel an instrument . Some employee, Mnr I think,, ran up on me and my son acting as though we were going to steal or break everything. In the end he didn’t even know is own inventory or didn’t care to help me find the equipment I was shopping for. Referred me to a online app. Very unwelcoming atmosphere. I won’t go back to this place again
Pushy know it all salesman condescendingly told me I was “handling the guitars too rough” and proceeded to criticize my brand preferences even though he had no clue what he was talking about. Stay away if you’re a knowledgeable musician looking for a place to browse without pressure to buy.

My daughter plays the Clarinet – my son plays the Tenor Saxophone. In converting their rental to a purchase, Cindy was more than helpful.
In joining the school band, my kids initially rented to insure we wouldn’t be stuck with instruments should they change their mind or otherwise decide chorus might be a better fit. Later in the school year, I sought to convert the rental to a purchase. Looks like they were sticking with band.
I had some “numbers” in mind on what I was willing to pay on the rental to purchase conversion. When I called into the store, Cindy was polite and helpful. After talking with management, their final price was actually lower that the “number” I had in mind. I quickly paid by credit card and sealed the deal.
Great location and they have what you need.
Good variety of instruments and accessories. Helpful friendly staff. Good prices
Great store for instrument rental.
They are good at what they do. They give you honest quotes for what might be needed.
I used to come here to have my instrument cleaned for years and will no longer be doing so. Repair shop is unwilling to accommodate professional musicians that are time sensitive. And no, I won’t be leaving my instrument that I make a living with with you for 7-10 days. That’s completely unacceptable. I even offer to pay extra for the rush. Insane. This would never happen in New York, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Dallas, or any city with pro music shops.
Trash. Not in a good way.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR STRING REPAIRS. Or, frankly, repairs in general. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I originally brought my viola to the store in Port Saint Lucie to be repaired and was told that it had to be shipped to the West Palm Beach store where the actual repair shop was. Seemed reasonable enough at the time. But this store then held my viola for well over a month, and started constantly making excuses as to why I couldn’t have my viola. Not only that, but it was impossible to get ahold of anyone at the store by telephone. I called time and time again and left numerous messages, but I was rarely able to get in touch with anyone until I actually spoke with the repair person. First it was that I didn’t tell them how I wanted it repaired (I did. Twice.) Then it was that the repair person only works weekends (she herself told me that she would come in and fix it on a weekday if needed, but they didn’t seem to care about that), and then it was that they couldn’t ship it back to the Port Saint Lucie store. Then, finally, when I finally got them to ship it back, they did it LATE. It is well over a month later and I STILL do not have my viola because of the terrible customer service. I’ve missed over 10 lessons now because of this. DO NOT go here for string repairs; they are simply understaffed.

Kim is the one and only vocal coach I recommend. I’ve trained with many people in Los Angeles, but it’s this woman that changed my life, both as a singer/songwriter and as an individual. My range went up to a professional level after using her technique. The tools she gives are more than just vocal technique, she’s the most vibrant guiding light and will bring that part out in you. She’s my loving guru, simply adorable and always fun!
Adanna has only been coaching my daughter for a few months and yet I have seen so much improvement in her vocal range and control. I feel lucky to have found a voice teacher who is not only very skilled and talented but also someone that my daughter is comfortable working with. My daughter looks forward to every session with Adanna, I am so happy that she found a reason to love singing even more! I highly recommend Adanna to anyone who wants to enhance their vocal skills!
Now, my youngest daughter, who is 3, has started ballet and all she can do each week is ask us everyday if it’s time to see Mrs. Yesenia. I have an arts background myself, and can 100% recommend this school of performing arts as a high caliber place to send your children.
Untrustworthy

I would definitely check this space out. Good people and even better music. A subtle space with a unique retro vibe. If you’re into Vinyl and Previous gen music, THIS is the spot. Best part right outside the door is a bar and a DJ spinning.
This place is incredible. Killer selection of very conditionally decent vinyl. And the prices are good too. I’ve spoken to the owner several times. Cool guy. I LOVE this place!!!
Such an incredible selection! I’ve knocked something off of my wishlist every time I’ve shopped here. Prices fairly reflect the condition of the record and I have yet to be disappointed. I’m so glad this place has popped up, a must stop for vinyl lovers!

Good people in this place. Just helped a friend purchase a guitar there and the staff was courteous and helpful. Just be mindful that they can only let so many people in the store at one time. So you may have to wait to get into the store but is understandable in this time.
I took my son in there today with an extremely old electric guitar. The strings needed to be changed out. I was so embarrassed because they were corroded and stuck in the guitar. Thank goodness Mike helped us get the strings out. It took him about maybe 30 minutes of battling this guitar to get those strings out of there but he did get the job done. He then proceeded to restring the guitar for my son and then he tuned it. After that, Anthony, gave my son a free 15 minutes lesson just to see if he had the will and ability to play the guitar. He came out and told me that my son was a natural oh, of course making me feel extremely proud of my son, and that he would be more than happy to teach my son how to play guitar. Both men were extremely wonderful. Mike would not give up on getting the strings out of that old guitar and getting it really strong and I cannot thank him enough. Anthony did not have to take time out of his day to sit with my son and tell him what it took, how much of a commitment it would be to learn how to play that instrument. Since our visit to Guitar Center today my son has not put his guitar down except to eat dinner and then he was back on it practicing. I of course and the static because I would love for my son to know how to play an instrument and I have Mike and Anthony at Guitar Center to thank forgiving my son the courage to take a chance and made him believe in himself that he could do this. So, thank you so much to Mike and Anthony.
New Guitar Center Family Members,
Diana and Aj
It is nice I went there 7 months ago and today I am going back to the guitar center so they can fix the string I’m going to be happy
Where are the wall- filled GUITARS, that Guitar Center is known for?
Did I miss out on sales due to the lock down since 3/2020? I enjoyed my visit tonight but I’m shopping for an uke.
Service was ok when I finally grabbed someone but what drum department runs out of drum keys? Still a better experience than at the Delray Beach location
The staff was very knowledgeable and was really quick to assisting me. They have a great selection of guitars as well. Very satisfied with this store
Took over 30 minutes to find someone to tell me a price of a Yamaha Keyboard.
They don’t put a price tag and there is no one around.
Asked staff and they said will find someone for me but no one showed up until half an hour later
I never had a problem with this store in the past. I recently went to purchase a DJ controller for my son and asked for help. A salesman came over and asked if i needed help ,i said yes and i asked him to show me a nice unit. well he kinda showed me a unit but really didnt show me much about it. he was more concerned with a purchase. Then to top it off another customer was waiting on him so he told me to “think” about it and he’ll be back after he helps the other customer but wasn’t done helping me.I’ll shop elsewhere. Thanks.
Not a single sales person said hello in the 10 minutes I wandered around the store. Pass.

Very nice shop amazing prices I brought in my Nintendo 3ds and games gave me the price I was asking and the man behind the counter is a amazing guy! His name is Nelson! Nelson has to be one of the greatest guys I ever met way nice treats you with respect over all a very respectful guy! If you go in there make sure you ask for Nelson!!
I have nothing but great experience since I’ve been there this pawn shop been there for me when I had bad times funeral and even good times I appreciate…p.s.the manager is so nice.and also the staff
nelson at the counter is the man to see!!!!
It’s okay, though Cash America on Northlake Blvd. is the one to go to. Steve the manager is awesome and everyone in the Northlake store is the best.
so I walk into shop and gentlemen behind counter asks if I need help with anything. I reply no thanks just looking. Not a problem at this point. I walk around and stop to look at a tennis racket. Same gentlemen asks if I’m looking for anything. I say no thanks. He says ask if you need anything just ask. I say thanks and at this point not a problem still but slightly annoyed. I am looking at jewelry counter at the jewelry in the case and same gentlemen asks if I want to see anything in the case. Really????!!!???????? I say no I’m just looking you have asked me 3 times if I needed help. He replies well just trying to help. This moron salesperson doesn’t realize that if I needed help I would ask!!!! How do I know??? Well it’s common sense and oh yeah he told me himself!!!!!!! At that point I left and won’t be returning to this ghetto pawnshop.
Horrifying customer service. The guy manager with the lace front is completely unprofessional. He embarrassed me in front of customers for trying to pawn a vintage sound module from 90s music production. Since he did not care about me as the customer he laughed at my item and tried to low-ball me.. I went to Pawn Kings a couple miles away and they treated me great and accepted my item and paid me twice as much as I expected.Dont go there…The guy with the lace front and pony tail is horrible..
The worst pawn shop I ever been to in my whole entire life they literally told me that I had one week to get my stuff out of layaway then they tell me that if I don’t get it out by a certain day that I’m going to lose the item and the cash I put down what the hell kind of place is this very disrespectful and stealing people’s money I will not recommend this place to anybody in the whole wide world and I will never come back for any kind of business if you want the same kind of business I would not recommend to go to this place very very rude not one person helped me with getting my cash back
15. Confusion Records
Address: 846 Park Ave, Lake Park, FL 33403 , Riviera Beach , Florida , United States
My husband and I have been to Confusion several times and we always leave with at least one album. Yes, this store is not organized, hence the name, but it’s fun to look through all the albums because you never know what you’ll come across. John knows exactly where any album is and most of his albums are vintage, not repressed copies. I’ve found more Slade albums here than the other record stores in Palm Beach County. Definitely worth checking out!
Great experience!
If you’ve ever been to a well organized record store, this is the complete opposite of that. If a disorganized hoarder owned a record store, it would look exactly like this. There are thousands of used records and CDs, in the $5-$10 range, but be prepared to dig. They also have new records in the $25-$40 range. New CDs cost around $15.
Plan to spend a few hours digging and climbing ladders, squeezing between narrow rows that are cluttered with leaning piles of records and everything from a bicycle to a guitar blocking your path. Various items are stacked on top of the records, so be prepared to move them (like scissors and lighter fluid, for example).
Once you get past the visual shock and the smell of old cigarette smoke from years gone by, it’s actually a very cool shop. The owner is a cool cat too with an extensive knowledge of music. It’s a treasure hunt that will require some work, but may pay off if you aren’t afraid to get up to your elbows in vinyl.
The name is an appropriate description of the place, although I almost suspect that the confused state of the place is intentional for the sake of ambience. If you’re in the area and you have a few hours to kill, I would definitely recommend that you stop by and dig in. Who knows what gems may lurk among this sea of vinyl chaos.
Higher prices internet is less
“Confusion” (Records) is an understatement. I’ll start with the positive. I randomly found a couple of things I was looking for and although the vinyl jackets looked a little rough, the actual vinyl was pristine. The prices were actually pretty good ($5) but you had to ask for the price on most everything. Now for the negative. This store is an absolute wreck. Albums thrown randomly on top of other proper (I use that word loosely) stacks, occasional cds on top of records, nothing had any seeming organization, walls had hundreds of albums that, because of all the junk, a shopper could not access easily or at all, no prices except when asked. Shopping for something specific was an exercise in futility. Owner could tell me where some things were but at times just seemed upset that I wasn’t able to find it alphabetically…ALPHABETICALLY?!!…uhhh…no. If the owner would take a break from sitting and organize his stock, he might have a decent used record store I could recommend. As it is now, I would not
I drive a hour to get here & he never bothered to open as advertised !!!
I’ll pay anyone $5 to take the diploma on the wall which was clearly a printed stock image
It’s a mess in there with no organization. I was taken aback at how uninviting the whole place is. The owner was alright but not very friendly or helpful. Thousands of records and they didn’t have what I wanted.
The only thing I found was an old soundtrack to a 90s indie movie and he wanted 30 bucks for it….yeah right.
16. TR Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 4279 Taliferro Ct, West Palm Beach, FL 33409 , Riviera Beach , Florida , United States
Her lessons are very structured and there is no time wasted. She is super encouraging, honest, and knows exactly what to work on with you during your lessons. She allocates her time really well and really cares about you and your well-being. My biggest problem is being able to connect with the audience and she is definitely teaching me to be a better performer overall, and not just a singer. She has great tips for all kinds of situations. She really brings out the best in me! I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to achieve their full potential! 🙂
My daughter takes piano classes with Mr. SPURGEON, and she had a very good first time experience, she learned a lot and I really thank him Thank you and Happy Teacher Appreciation week
At the start of covid I wanted to get some new music going and also wanted to sing as well but knew from previous horrible attempts that I needed some serious help. Working with Lindsey 4 or 5 times in a 4 month period Ive gained so much experience quickly and have so many great tools for continued singing success. I am not close to where I want to be yet but I have made tremendous progress learning with her. She is also very fun and positive but will not sugar coat what needs to be heard….at least that has been my experience. I love going to lessons!

I have had the opportunity to enjoy these guys several times in various venues, from an outside concert to an intimate restaurant gig. I love their music and professionalism and try to hear them whenever I can. My wife says “ditto”…
Don’t bother to call them the guy is super rude and hung up on me twice just because he was out of my “assisted living” budget no customer service skills at all.
19. Get Wet Watersports Jet Ski Rentals Singer Island Palm Beach
Address: 101 Blue Heron Blvd, Riviera Beach, FL 33404 , Riviera Beach , Florida , United States
This place is an amazing family friendly place to go to for a special event or just for fun awesome for bringing friends to laugh and smile and live life in the water me personally had some of my favorite memories there
We did a kayaking and snorkeling adventure. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had an awesome experience!!!
Had a great time kayaking and Phill did an awesome job taking care of us. We definitely recommend it.
Phil and Michaela were great. Very helpful and responsive. Had the best time. Though one thing that would take away from the experience is the fact that both employees were maskless nor did they require people to wear masks in the store which is mandated by palm beach county. Other than that, good time.
Friendly staff but unfortunately there was no mention of a storm possibly rolling through during our 2 hour jet ski rental. We got stuck in whiteout conditions for about 45 mins out in the ocean. There was no mention of the storm upon our return, nor any offer to reduce our rental fee or to stay out longer since we only got a little over an hour of actual ride time. I understand how storms come and go in Florida, but to pretend like it’s normal to send people out and have all that occur was very disappointing.
To the business reply – We were absolutely being responsible, once we realized there was no way to make it back thru the inlet safely, we hunkered down where we were. But my point was that I would think conditions for the entire duration, not just leaving the dock, should be part of the safety check you do as a watercraft rental business. Yes I understand it’s up to individuals to have “common sense,” but storm tracking and water conditions for a place I don’t live is a little more information then just “common sense.”
Still owe us a $900 refund and zero follow up. They double charged us “by mistake” and had to cancel due to poor weather. 4 months later and they still owe us $900. Multiple emails and phone calls with no response. We live out of state so this has been a nightmare! Book with anyone but Get Wet Watersports. Note their response to me, should be all you need to know about them. Very classy right?….book with someone else.
Got completely scammed by this company. Rented three jet skis at $150 each for an hour. Rode the jet skis, in normal ocean conditions for 20 minutes when one of them broke down. Got charged another $150 for them to tow it back, then got charged $1,316 for damages they said we caused to the jet ski. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! There are much more reputable companies to rent jet skis from.
Malísima lo peor que me ha pasado me siento discriminada soy ciudadana de Estados Unidos y no me rentaron porque soy hispana son racistas increíble que todavía existen personas así deberían cerrar el negocio y conozco más personas que también les pasó lo mismo
