For someone like me not having any knowledge of musical instruments and accessories, this place is the spot. Sorry that I didn’t get the salesman’s name, but he was very patient and helpful. He was not one of those sales people that pushed for any upsales & pushed products you didn’t need. Purchased two youth guitar bags, a bag of picks and a tuner at a decent price. Very pleased with my experience.
Such a sweet staff!! And so welcoming!! I came in to get a guitar and lessons, I had no idea what I was doing. They helped me out with everything. Definitely recommend.
Very cool store. Not a big place per se, but everything they had was absolutely awesome. Pound for pound, serious business. One of my favorite music stores I’ve been in.
Very helpful and patient
Super helpful. I didn’t buy anything this time and they didn’t treat me like any less of a customer. I’ll definitely be back to get my LP set up.
Quite a few nice instruments.
It took 6 weeks just to change the bridge and put some new strings on. They said they would call and they didn’t. Went to pick up the guitar and it has a huge chunk taken out of the neck! I will not be bringing anything to this store nor will I send anyone their way.
Ended up paying twice as much as quoted for replacement of one peg on bass. Paid for two when only one needed replacing.
Very helpful and knowledgeable about instruments. When other music stores have ran out of a certain book needed for school, Baker’s music store always has it!!!
Real nice to see people like them. Great hospitality and easy to get along with
Mr Baker is a cool easy going cat.
For band and orchestra.
Very helpful servicemen who answered all my questions.
Very friendly and helpful!
Baker was rude to us. No good customer service. Didn’t even speak when we walked into the store. We were the only two customers no reason not to speak. I guess they are only nicer to “certain” customers. Long story short I wouldn’t recommend shopping there plus the instruments are old. IJS.
Spicer’s Music has the friendliest staff you will ever meet!!! They love the instruments, the music, but most of all the people that come into the store. They have excellent instruments in a laid back, fun environment. Check them out!!!
Very nice people and a great selection.
Great, friendly staff!
I never really bought anything but strings & they always treat as if I bought 10 Les Paul’s theregreat bunch of guys & ladies thanks Spicer’s!!…
Good place
Needed something for last minute on a Saturday for my sound system. That rented to me without any hassle about me being from out of state.
Came in with my daughter, looking to purchase a 12 string guitar. 5 employees ignore us for over 15 minutes. They were busy looking at their phones, and speaking to one another. We waited patiently but not one person even acknowledged we were there. Sad.
Friendly but limited selection
Great selection and helpful staff.
16. Everything Musical
Address: 2400 W Britt David Rd, Columbus, GA 31909 , Russell County , Alabama , United States
Everything Musical has great customer service and friendly staff. Being a gigging saxophonist, this store has supplied and serviced any need I’ve come to them with, especially my repair man Joe. Gary and everyone one else at Everything Musical handles situations professionally and honestly. I would recommend this store to any serious musician.
Very reasonable prices
Great variety of guitars, from acoustic bass and electric guitars drums amps keyboards wind
Very hospitable staff
Cody was very helpful recommending the right acoustic amp and had great advice on how to use amplification wirelessly. Always a pleasure here with great advice and no pressure.
I have changed my review since Everything Musical is under new management. I have been in the store 4-5 times since then and they have matched or beaten online prices.
On a separate note this store needs Gibson guitars.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help you find what you need. I’ve been coming here for years and always get what I’m looking for when I come in. I’ll keep coming back.
Expensive but classic. They fixed and cleaned my childhood Trumpet. Thanks!
Very poor service everything was out of tune. Every banjo in the place need to be set up
And the to set it all off this grey haired prick comes running over to me like excuse me excuse can I help you, in a very condescending tone like are you even a drummer this is very expensive and I was just looking at it and I guess since I am covered in tattoos I’m not a professional touring musician who knows how to play anything……. Screw this place if your a musician they do not like our kind
Girlfriend and I went in to look at their selection. She went over and started to play the piano. She knows how to play very well and is trying to find a piano for our house. After shortly playing glassandos, a guy comes over and says to stop because she might break it. In the end, he admitted to only saying that just to make her leave. His exact words. Not sure how they have 4 stars if they treat customers like this.
If you are looking for a violin teacher, look no further! Emma is professional, kind, smart and makes you feel right at home. She is a master at her skill and is educated not only in music but how to teach young kids. She is so patient with my little one who is learning more and more with each lesson. We are a military family and we were so fortunate to meet Emma when we first moved to Columbus. She invited us to a student concert first before my daughter started taking lessons. This made my daughter excited to take lessons herself. Emma has shown us so much kindness and we have truly enjoyed watching our little one learn the violin. We will always be taking lessons from Emma as long as we are living in Columbus. She is such an amazing person and teacher!
