Billy is super helpful with my daughters guitar. It is consistently getting jostled and loosened by everyday play and friends. We are always grateful for his time and generosity when he fixes it.
Billy is great. Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service. Very reasonable prices. Billy works on all makes and models. I bring both my Rickenbacker and MTD to him. I would not hesitate to recommend Beach Music for any guitar or bass purchases or repairs.
This is absolutely the BEST music shop in the southland. Period. Billy is amazing to work with and he makes my bass play like a dream. My bass gets a lot of abuse traveling from Colorado to Seal Beach and Billy quickly gets it dialed in for me every time. He takes the time to know what and how you play and gets you set up perfectly. Makes my home town tech look like a rookie! The store is an awesome place to hang out and try out some vintage instruments and just talk music. You have got to check this place out!

Today I went to Seal Beach. Walked Main Street and went to the beach. It was a fantastic day! I stopped in at Bogart’s Coffee House. I ordered the Iced Chai Latte. I also ordered two buttons that read , flower power and have a nice day. Great coffee and atmosphere! ❤

Cute coffee shop close to Seal Beach pier. My boyfriend took me to Seal Beach one morning to get coffee and walk the pier. I was a little hungry and ordered the spinach parmesan bagel, extra toasted with cream cheese. He ordered an iced coffee and I had a matcha latte. The drinks came out fairly quickly, but the bagel took a little while. I was really excited for the bagel. The first bite was amazing! The bagel was very crispy on the outside and had that satisfying crunch. My boyfriend had said that he didn’t want any, but after he had a bite… he ate half the bagel. The drinks were good, but the highlight was the bagel. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but if we’re in the area again we’ll be back!

Hmmm… I ordered a cappuccino with soy milk and got a black coffee. I was the only one ordering at the time so the coffees weren’t a mixup. I didn’t notice until i was several bock away. Oh well. Better luck next time.
Just bad. Very disappointed because the server was nice. But my sole with lemon, caper butter sauce tasted like lemon only.
Called to get information on purchasing and installing a new set of guitar strings. They were very nice and professional. They not only, installed the new guitar strings but made my 6 year old guitar look brand new. Would definitely be coming back.

I have supported all local shops in Seal Beach for 40+ years. They are our “neighbors”!! However, when the local stores stop treating us as neighbors, My business will go to the big box stores. Bay Hardware has “new” policies for tool rentals, Their arogance & matter of fact attitude has lost them a long time customer!!! Their service no longer justifies their higher prices!!!
Homey hardware store with most basics in the house, and a helpful staff.
I went to the hardware store to make a purchase and the lady that help me shouldn’t be working with the public she had such a bad attitude and was very rude and I had a very bad experience at this hardware store.
Tried to have one screen made there. They quoted me $48.00 and 3-4 days to make. Went to another place. They built it while I waited(5 minutes) and charged me $14.00.
Had a very bad experience at this hardware store I was surprised being in the city of Seal Beach that’s known to be a friendly community as well and businesses and as well would have a salesperson as rude as the sales lady who help me.

This antique shop is very unique. It has estate jewelry, small and large pictures to hang, antique lamps, dolls, place settings and a whole lot more. When you enter the shop you go into like a time warp into the past.

I’ve sang in Lina’s choir at church, and have felt so incredibly moved by her ability to lead a choir and the congregation in praise and worship. I have also heard her play and sing at several weddings, and i can honestly say her music brings so much more joy and beautiful intimacy to the celebrations.

Good Service and Nice Guitar’s
My experience started when contacted Chris ext. 2233, online customer service specialist whom was amazing helping me finding the wireless sure microphones and helped me understand the best for me. one before Christmas he found it in the closest store Westminster CA, contacted the store back and forth until he made sure they contacted me locally to place the item on hold. he was amazing. Appointment was made with Jonathan Jackerty to pick it up next day after 5 PM. when I arrived at the store and approached the microphone section a young male attendee asked me what did I need? I explained to him I was coming to pick up and buy a Shure microphone wireless system and it was previously arranged. He answered “We do not have any Shure microphones” I mentioned the name of the person who I had talked to and and placed on hold. He said” this person is off today and he did not leave anything, I mentioned I came from an hour away and I came all the way here, because I was certain the microphone was going to be here.. He said “I would not know and can’t help you, you need to speak to the Manager”. At this point my excitement turned into frustration since there was no effort made on his behalf on helping me as the customer, I went directly with the Manager and after one second mentioning the brand of the microphone, the Store Manager said “I have it right here, Johnathan mentioned all about it”
Therefore my review can not be a 5 star because of this employee. This company should take in consideration have new and young employees under close observation as it seemed as this employee just did not feel the need to do anything to help the paying customer. This wireless system was more than $600, they should take very seriously the fact that we continue buying instruments even during pandemic and make sure they provide great service as this is what we are used to when it comes to Sam Ash. People who love music are usually very happy, I recommend to hire more of the older age employees who are always friendly and knowledgeable.
The Guitar repair is a rip-off. I had my jack replaced which was supposed to be $10 but it cost $26. The part is only $6. The guy who worked there should be fired. Don’t go to this place.
Most people that work here walk around like they’re some sort of Rockstar with matching poor attitudes. They are smug, judgmental, know-it-all’s. It’s uncomfortable in the store and they act like you’re bothering them by asking a question. They’re sure to make you feel like you don’t know what you’re talking about and insist that you’re interested in the wrong equipment because they personally wouldn’t use it themselves. Find the gear you want at the store but buy it on Amazon.
These guys buy stolen stuff off the streets and do not do a police check on them. If you buy used gear here consider it stolen and buy at your own risk. I am staying as for away from this store as I can.

CALL FIRST BEFORE VISITING – THEY MAY BE CLOSED. My wife and I are in town from out of state, drove an hour specifically to see this store, were well within the hours of operation listed, and upon arrival we saw that the store was closed. Looks like a great store from the pictures, but that is all we go to see.

I’ve been coming to this shop for years. I’ve found gifts for myself and gifts for family. One of my favorite things I’ve found in their shop was this beautiful Dia de los Muertos car. The detail is stunning. A heart-shaped rock for our octopus bowl? Yes, please! I also love that everything in their store supports artisans in South America, Mexico, Tahiti, Africa, the Middle East, and more. They even sell green chile jam from New Mexico. It’s AMAZING.
I’ve purchased decorations for Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, Christmas, spring, and year-round items. The owners are wonderful people with many years of experience working with indigenous artisans in other countries. I’m so happy to support the artists! If you’re looking for beautifully handmade pieces of art (for yourself, friends, or family), stop by their store. I have no doubt you’ll find something beautiful that isn’t mass-produced.

I don’t like people who appropriate, I’ve gotten a lama from Peru and it was $5. This is not “fair trade”, you guys are overpricing handcrafted things that are sold at a lesser price in other countries. Disgusting.

We just happened to be passing by when we decided to walk through the shops of Seal Beach, we stepped into this small shop and found some amazing things, all nautical, and I went crazy! I wanted to buy everything, and everything was beautiful and affordable, I want to go back, but I live in San Jose! Thanks for being there and making my day very special, I did buy a couple of things!

We were in town visiting from out of state. The two gals were so friendly and gave us a home-like feel with their down to earth personalities. They were helpful with finding certain items and very welcoming. We will be sure to return!!

My ring from here broke and it was super special to me and I asked them to ship a new one (I would pay) but they would not accommodate it. I will never be coming back here again. I had gotten the ring less than a week ago and I clapped and it shattered
