I’m coming to frequent this place more and more. Had my guitar set up twice, had my amp fixed, and had my first open mic here. Every experience I’ve had has been fantastic and I know I’ll be coming back
This place is awesome and they are very flexible with prices very good people
A lot of stuff in a small space.
The owners are very nice and super accommodating. A little something for everyone
Great music

This is my go to spot for music gear. We are all over the place in this shop looking at guitar, ukulele, violin and percussion gear every time we go. The staff is knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and they always have a tuner for you if you need it haha. We are always looking for an excuse to stop it, even if only to strum on a few strings. I can never walk past that wall of ukeleles!
Awesome place great service.
Nice place great people
Had a good assortment of goods
I bought my ukulele and banjo from this place. No problems and fair prices.
Mi
Called to know if they had any Tenor Saxophones and he had a bad attitude.
Just wasn’t sure why it was so unorganized and messy
Bought a few pieces of gear here. All above market price, first amp fried in less than a year, PRS guitar with cosmetic damage you could only see in certain light. And a PRS amp, brand new, that developd tube rattle in 3 months, even though I paid $300 over market value. Sadly, these small businesses don’t really do anything about the products they sell. But they’re definitely more expensive.

Excellent Deals and service! Couldn’t have been any happier with my experience!
Nice knowledgeable people. They will help you find whatever you’re looking for. Piano, keyboard, organ, guitar, sheet music, CD, DVDs,…etc.
A couple of years ago I purchased a Yamaha Tyros 5 from Keyboard America; an informative, easy, pleasantly engaging and cost effective transaction. Mike Mixon was so passionate in providing me with the guidance I needed to determine which keyboard I/we felt best for my then current and future keyboard needs. His recommended options, which ultimately led to the purchase of the Tyros 5, couldn’t have been a better one. Mike is extremely patient, knowledgeable and available even after delivery of the instrument; don’t get that kind of service much these days. Mike’s wife Kathy made the final purchase process simple and efficient. I could tell very early in my relationship with Keyboard America that Mike and Kathy truly enjoy assisting their customers and their business of providing instruments on which great music can be made. By-the-way. Mike’s on-line tutorials are amazing!
Not having a softcover for the keyboard, I recently called Keyboard America and spoke with Kathy. She indicated the store did not have a softcover for this keyboard and immediately went online to search for a place where I could purchase one. After her search, Kathy provided me a link and bingo I now have a softcover for the keyboard. It was a delightful customer experience. Kathy truly exemplified excellent customer service. Thanks Kathy and Mike!
Since no one in our state stocks arranger keyboards anymore, or can even answer simple questions about them, I called Keyboard America. Mike answered my questions – I was not sure I believed him on all the answers compared to my Clavinova, but after I got my own, his answers turned out to be 100% correct. The Genos I first received had a defect that could not be detected by simply upgrading the software. I called Mike and after some quick diagnostics had Yamaha speak to me directly. To make a long story short, Yamaha said it was manufacturing defect and authorized Mike to replace it within a couple of weeks. The replacement Genos has performed flawlessly and met all my expectations! I originally had trepidations about not being able speak face to face about my purchasing questions and service after the sale if there was a problem. But Mike and Kathy at Keyboard America took the time to answer my questions and get me solutions when needed. I, for one, am glad they there and would have no qualms returning to them should I get the urge for another instrument in the future.
They were closed so I didn’t go in but they are a good one stop shop for any piano needs, books, tuning, and teacher recommendations
Don’t let the outside deter you. They have a very good selection of digital pianos, and great costumer service. And if no one is there, call the number on the door
Not even a1. I agree with all the reviews
Owner is arrogant!!!! Please beware
Saw a bad review and thought I could deal because I needed a piano moved in the same town as the shop and only about eight miles away. Well the poor review was exactly right. Twice didn’t get a promised call back, and then while giving information the associate / owner? was not just rude, but very condescending!
When I called another professional, I happened to mention the reason for the last minute call was that I thought Keyboard America was going to handle my move. This professional then proceeded to relay several stories confirming the poor service, dishonesty and outright rudeness of these people.
What a jerk! Sue me. The truth is the best defense.
I wasn’t going to post anything, but since I saw some similar reviews, I figured I’d share. I was looking for a keyboard and a guy who I assumed was the owner showed me what I going to buy. When I asked some questions and looked at some other keyboards he “huffed” at me and walked away. I guess that was all the service I was gong to get. It’s hard to give someone your business after that. I ordered what I wanted online the next day. It’s too bad, but I get the impression that they are doing well enough that they don’t need to bother with difficult customers like me.
Pat is so kind, respectful and knowledgeable about her piano stock. She took time to schedule an appointment with me to let me test out lots of pianos and answered all of my questions. If you’re in the market for a digital piano or an acoustic this is the #1 shop in Sussex County that I’d recommend as a musician and a music teacher.
Friendly atmosphere and super helpful!
We had to get my son new strings for his guitar. We are new to the area and found this store. The lady who helped us was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be going there for our music needs
I was promptly greeted and served when I entered the store. No lines; no waiting.
Nice friendly environment but not many books to choose from

Fun! Plays great songs and takes requests. Great guy!
Absolutely great entertainer ❣️
Seem to be very knowledgeable and answer all questions.Nice selection of vintage & new guitars?
Very large selection.. and no sales tax is a plus. I’ve purchased a Guitar from here and had a Great experience.
Stopped by to check out inventory and discuss equipment upgrades. Thanks Chris.
I hadn’t been there in years. In days past, this place was known for selling Peavey guitars and Amos. But WOW! They sell many major brands now.
A friend asked me to ride along to pick up his custom shop Fender Strat. It was very nice. And they cleaner and had it all set up for him.
They are sellers of Fender, Gibson, and Ibanez as well as many other brands.
A very nice assortment, and the store is well laid out. Accoutsics are on the south wall, electrics on the north, and the have an isolated room for accoustic players in case the electric guys are loud.
Although I’m not a drummer, I did see they had a decent amount of fear for drummers too.
They had a few keyboards that covered a wide budget as well as stands for them.
They have all the small gear too, like strings, drum heads, cables, picks, sticks, drum keys and the like.
Everyone I talked to their was polite, and not pushy at all.
It’s always good to buy local, and even comparing prices to online stores like Sweetwater, they were priced competitive with them.
Best part, tax free! So, if you’re on your way to the beach, save money and buy here. They are just feet from Maryland, in DelMar DE.
After 30 years, I found my local store again.
Good selection. Sales people are low key and helpful when you ask for assistance.
I like that.
I have musician friends and family who swear by Earle Teat’s place. Even a small request is welcome, and if they don’t have an item, they can tell you where you can get it. Friendly to non-music people who are still learning, like me.
Every time my church needs any equipment we go to Earle Teat. The products are good, and the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable.
Horrible horrible place to sell used instruments called ahead asked if they would want to take a look at my violin the man that answered said yes and to bring it in he would look at it. I walked in there and he didn’t even say 5 words to me nor did he look at my violin and told me I should take it to a pawn shop. Horrible customer service very disappointed.
